Property was perfect for our family of four and our week stay on the Big Island. Location is perfect right next to Honls Beach. We started each morning with yoga on the beach and listening to the waves crashing while enjoying a cup of coffee on the lanai. Our teens loved being able to make the short walk into town and explore the shops of Kailua Kona. Thanks for an amazing stay and we would definitely come back.

This unit at Kona Reef was exceptional and i would recommend it highly. The location right on the ocean provided excellent views of the sunset and is close to the pool. The pictures were spot on and we look forward to going back! Mahalo

We loved staying in this corner unit! The views were great and the place was well stocked with beach gear and snorkeling equipment so we could snorkel at the beach right outside our window. Great restaurants were in walking distance and the sunsets were beautiful!

What a stunning condo! We walked into a clean, beautifully furnished condo with sweeping views of the ocean which was about 10 years away. Every room was well equipped and comfortable. My favorite room was the lanai where I could wave and people watch. We were only minutes always from delicious food and about a mile away from a designated open ocean swim area. Bill was great to work with. He quickly and kindly responded to all my questions before and during our trip. My only regret is that we didn’t stay longer. We will certainly be back.

The property manager was very attentive and maintained great communication. He messaged me a couple days prior to our stay to inform us that the AC was not working. A new system was installed within 24 hours of check-in. The property was clean, well maintained and had all the necessary amenities, including equipment to use for water sports. A1 unit is a wonderful corner, ground floor unit with an amazing view of the ocean and adjacent to the small beach. Beds were comfortable too. Would recommend.

It was not able to be repaired while we were there. We would have been more understanding if this had been communicated up front.
Bill did issue us a partial credit for our stay due to the inconvenience at our request after our stay which was appreciated.

This place is a little “slice of Heaven on earth!” Easy walk to everything, and steps to the ocean. The little beach right next door is peaceful and calm, and condo itself is the best one in the building. The owners thought of everything, and we were totally relaxed from day one! Rent a car, there is much to see and do on this Island, but coming back to this place at sunset was the best bonus for us! We Loved every minute and will be back to choose this place above any other! This property is just as beautiful as the pictures show. Being right on the ocean and the views from the condo are breathtaking. You can definitely tell the pride of ownership in this unit. We saw some turtles and fish while sitting on the lanai. The location is superb as you can walk to many things within minutes. We walked to Coconut Grove shopping center many times as well as Huggo's, the Royal Kona resort, and all down Ali'i drive for shopping and dining. The Kona trolley is easy to catch as well right out at Honl's beach or Coconut Grove.
The condo was super clean and the decor and attention to detail inside was amazing. We were very happy with the closet full of chairs, cooler, snorkel gear, etc. The beds were all very comfy. We were also very impressed with how everything was fool proof and labeled as far as light switches, fans, tv, etc.
Bill was beyond attentive and responsive to anything we needed. The check in and out process was a breeze. I would absolutely recommend this condo and it was the nicest place I've stayed at on Kona and I'm sad I'm not sitting outside enjoying my coffee right now on the lanai while planning another day in paradise.

Beautifully appointed property from the sea blue dishes to the restful room colors and unique ceilings of rattan (I believe) and comfortable furniture and modern kitchen appliances. The ocean waves are right outside the sliding doors, what a treat. Fun to watch the surfers and sunsets. This place is a real gem. Parking is super easy in the garage. Bill is easy to work with. Highly recommend this rental.

A quick 5 minute walk to downtown where there is endless shops and restaurants to explore.
The unit itself is fully stocked. Lots of beach gear and all the other amenities you would ever need. I loved how it had a useful items left behind from previous guests that others will use (spices, charge cables etc). It is the most comfortable condo I’ve stayed at on the Hawaiian islands. High end. The patio furniture was my favourite. The interior is modern but still has a Hawaiian feel to it. The sound system is awesome. You’ll see whales, dolphins, turtles & crabs from the comfort of the lanai. The beach is right outside your window which is great for people watching and is nice for quick, easy access.
Big thanks to Bill for being such a wonderfully pleasant owner to deal with. I wish they were all like him!!

This unit was well equipped with technology. It had smart TVs, surround sound, separate A/C units in the bedrooms and the main living space. The unit itself has recently had a very nice remodel that makes it very comfortable. The unit is good for people watching at the park adjacent to the property and watching the wave action. The unit is close enough to town that you would not need a car once you were at the property. Bill the owner is very responsive to concerns and keeps the unit well maintained. We enjoyed our visit!

My family and I enjoyed 10 nights at this wonderful condo. Right on the ocean with close access to shopping and dining in Kona. The place was immaculate with all the comforts of home. The four of us were comfortable in the two bedrooms. The owners are very nice and responsive. The pool is undergoing a redo but we found many close beautiful beaches to hang out on. Parking is a breeze and I love how quiet the building is. We will definitely return on our next vacation.

Property: The property was excellent! It's a corner ground unit which makes it more private than the others. The location is one of the best I have experienced, it is ocean front but the beach is a bit rocky so I would recommend swim shoes. It was clean and well appointed and had everything we needed for our stay. The beds were comfortable and the bathrooms were modern. My hubby and I were in the master suite and the shower was very modern with an amazing showerhead! The master bedroom also had it's own TV with netflix. The kitchen had ample space to prep and cook food and included pots, skillets, utensils, plates, bowls and even tupperware to store extras. The dining area was a booth like table with seating but very comfortable with ample space. The living area had a full size futon and 2 chairs along with a TV. The bedrooms and living area had AC which worked very well. The condo is very technologically updated and there are remotes for the majority of things. The patio area had a great view of the ocean and the sunset and included a couch along with 2 chairs and a table. The condo also comes with a very modern washer and dryer which was very convenient along with beach/pool supplies such as chairs, umbrellas and noodles and there were also two coolers that we could use to take drinks down to the beach. Parking is covered in the garage and very convenient, just a short walk to the condo.
Location: The condo is beach front, although the area is a bit rocky but has amazing, unblocked views especially of the sunset. It is located pretty close to restaurants and bars so you can walk or it's a short drive (I would recommend getting reservations for the restaurants though). It's also not to far from the airport, about 10-15 minutes. Our friends did the night Manta dive and it was also just a short drive from the condo.
Communications: Bill is an excellent communicator and all our messages were responded to within minutes. He was very kind and courteous and also helpful in assisting us with restaurant recommendations. The check-in process was super simple and the condo was easy to access. A friend of mine accidentally knocked over one of the decorations and it broke but Bill was super nice when communicating about it.
Overall: I would definitely stay here again and definitely recommend this condo and Bill to anyone considering Kona.

You can’t get more oceanside than this ground floor property, within easy walking distance of Ali’i Drive shopping and dining options. There’s a small family-oriented beach within yards of this corner unit, and the sound of the waves is a lovely backdrop to the wrap-around views available to you, whether you’re on the lanai or within the unit.
The unit itself is finely appointed, with easy to follow instructions on lighting, A/C, ceiling fans, etc., and the decor is updated and perfectly executed.

We couldn’t be more happy with this condo. Bill is one of the most attentive, responsive, and detailed hosts we’ve stayed with. His attention to details is impeccable. The condo is beautiful decorated and the wrap-around windows easily gave us an easy 180° view. This condo is walking distance to a lot of restaurants and a nice farmers market. There is a nice route for running in the morning (4 miles easily) with hardly any roads to cross. We will definitely visit again and rent Bill.

This place is a corner property adjacent to a beautiful beach with coral and a lot of sea life to see. The condo is luxuriously remodeled with all of the amenities needed to enjoy the beach - chairs, umbrellas, snorkels, and body boards. Kitchen is fully stocked. Our kids loved playing at the beach followed by hours in the pool. The complex is smaller so it’s not crowded. At the end of the day you can enjoy the sunset on the beautiful lanai. Do not pass up this property. We stay at VRBO properties about four times a year and this is one of our favorites!
