Host was fantastic with communication and quickly helped us with anything we needed or had questions about. Condo was great and included beach gear and cooler. Washer and dryer in unit was helpful as well depending on how long you’re staying. Balcony has a nice view of the sunset each night and also perfect for a quick surf check (beginner/longboard surf beach across the street). Location was awesome though, walking distance to tons of restaurants and bars, shopping, and a nice garden/food truck center. Also a short walk to Charley Young beach which was our favorite spot if staying close to the condo. Definitely recommend a car though as there is so much to see in Maui. Overall could not recommend this listing enough, will definitely be saving this one for future trips out there!

Very nice condo we went snorkeling, shopping and ate to much ! Didn’t cook in the kitchen but everything was there if we wanted too. We sat out on the lanai a lot so it would be a big improvement with better chairs to sit in would be my suggestion 😁

Beautiful remodeled condo with upcountry views and oceans views. Perfect location to walk to grocery, restaurants and shopping and conveniently near Wailea and Makena beaches.

This is a great location and close to the beaches and shopping. We had a wonderful time here and are coming back again. When i had a question the manager answered quickly and the upstairs had a nice view. A great place to stay.

Overall this place was awful. We spent as little time as possible there. Not enough space to list all the things wrong with this place. The furniture on the lanai uncomfortable and not as pictured, screens broken, deck on a slant towards the ground. Neighbors were not there thankfully-no privacy on deck. The stairs are extremely steep, the building is at a busy intersection and there are no grounds to speak of. The pool overlooks the street, chairs uncomfortable, plastic, old.
The place was gross and dirty. Floors sandy, (and you are asked to hose down in the parking lot after the beach) Kitchen dirty, fridge smells bad-appliances not in good shape-no cleaning products. We had to conserve tp and paper towels or buy them. Shower head clogged -barely spits out water, washing machine has BLACK MOLD! (owner said "that happens in Hawaii" No it should not!) Hair and dirty water in washer. Extra linens in closet unusable-dirty & stained. Hair in the bed!
No cleaning products of any kind! The chairs at the table are ripped and worn, the sofa bed is very worn and has a huge dip in one side. You need to drive everywhere. Beach is a 10 minute schlep with all your stuff. The close ocean front is grass not beach. Go elsewhere!!! No way this is new and definitely not gorgeous! Have pics & wish I could share all evidence. Called owner he basically said we were lying then stopped responding. VRBO/travelocity do nothing-hard to reach. Nightmare! Will never use these companies again.

For the value its not bad. Maui was awesome, but the location might be a little sketchy to some who are suburbian/country folk. More homeless people than I expected. They weren’t aggressive, but its all around. North of stay is a little sketchy, but If you head South it gets really nice really quick. The beach chairs and cooler were great to have at stay! We didn’t watch much TV, but when trying, it will take you a while to figure out. Ive never had a harder time trying to watch TV. The owner is quick to reply with questions. I imagine bugs are an issue nearly everywhere in Maui, but I definitely know there is an issue here. The bed was comfortable, but it could use a nicer couch. We were worried about parking being an issue but it never was, plus its free!
I was okay with the stay, but I’m not a picky person. Not a bad value play for Maui.

We definitely enjoyed our stay at this condo. The location was perfect, across from a mellow beginner surf break for our kids and their friends to learn at. Central Kihei is right nearby so our two teens could venture off to visit the skate park, outdoor roller rink and endless shave ice and trinket shops. The condo itself is well stocked with beach gear, including a big rolling cooler. The place gets great light and a breeze can blow from the back to the front of the apt. The AC also works great. The kitchen is well equipped and the small deck/lanai is a nice feature. The pool area (with a small hot tub) has a long covered table and 3 new gas grills (with a great view of the ocean). We happily ate several meals out there. One thing to note is there are many long/full time residents at Shores of Maui, so noisy teens were definitely irritating a few of them (by the pool area). I don’t blame them it’s just something to be aware of. Lastly, Adam responded super quickly to messages through the VRBO app, which we really appreciated. All in all, we are big fans of this condo and would definitely rent it again.

Condo was in a good location. Quiet even though on main road through town very quiet when doors closed. Stocked well. View is good as watching the cove has many things going on. Walking distance to grocery, bars, shopping, and beaches. Great place to stay. Mahalo

Great condo across the street from Cove Beach but awesome views and just a brief walk via crossing right out in front of complex !
Bed was very comfortable, spaces were large and roomy. Stocked kitchen, linens and an entire array of beach toys!
Some road noise but not distracting
Great communication with quick replies.
Would definitely recommend and rent again!

Maddening. Tried contacting owner for 3 days, explaining that we had an infant and a guest w/ a heart condition, before any action taken to repair a/c. Spent 4/5 days of our stay in humid swelter and had to place sofa sleeper mattress on floor of bedroom in order to have cooling. Manager uncooperative. Asking us to clean a/c and confirm temperatures before sending maintenance which took an additional 3 days.
Minimum reply time of 12 hrs. each time. Offered apologies and small rebate disproportionate to a major daily hassle to our family Maui vacation.

Had everything we needed and more for a great stay. Kitchen was equipped. Bed was comfortable. Pool in the building was great. Great places to eat nearby and a grocery store within walking distance. It took us a bit that the electronic door lock does not lock automatically. You need to push the lock button. All around it was a great place.

It was our first trip to Maui. The photos and description of the property were as advertised and it was equipped with everything needed for us to enjoy our visit. Kihei Road had a lot more traffic noise than we expected. The property is centrally located and within close walking distance to the beach, restaurants and the Foodland grocery store.

We had a lovely stay at the condo. Things were clean, bed was comfortable, almost everything needed was already in the home. Location was perfect and in walking distance to many fun things. Would definitely stay again in the future.

We totally enjoyed our stay in Maui. Every morning we sat out on the Lanai to have breakfast and watch the waves/surfers at the Cove.
This location in Kihei was perfect for our adventures all over Maui and the nearby beaches were fantastic.

We really couldn't have been happier with the condo. It was everything I was expecting and more. It seemed larger than I thought it would be and I liked the layout with the large bedroom in the back and the living room and kitchen around the corner in the front. It really was a lot of space to stretch out. We liked the balcony for mornings and evenings to watch the people go by getting their excercise, walking their dogs, or on their way to the beach. The condo was well equiped and everything was pretty easy to figure out. If I had to think of one thing that could be improved, the couch could use a little more support in the cushions with some extra foam or something but we didn't spend much time sitting in the living room anyway. The location was pretty convenient within access of a lot of different things. If you walk one to two blocks west, you reach some restaurants and stores. 2 blocks east and you can get to a very nice beach that we visited one morning. Adam was always quick to respond to any questions I had. Since the condo is on the end of the building, I feel like it offers a little more privacy and quiet from the rest of the condos in the complex. So yes, I would highly recommend this property to anyone wanting to stay in the Kihei area. It worked out great for our trip.

This condo is very spacious and there are windows on three sides, so there is lots of natural light. The kitchen is very well equipped. The beach directly across the street is primarily for beginning surfers so to swim you have to walk a block to the south or drive to a beach. The bathroom shower does not have a door or a curtain so it was a little bit cold. Overall, this was a great place to stay.

This place is located in a surrounding of day trips and beaches. So a vast night life. We did just about everything with a short drive. The only thing not around is golf. But, we are not into that. Everything else is perfectly located.

After we arrived, we felt that we should have researched the properties better. The beach view was wonderful, but the property appearance wasn't exactly what we thought we would have stayed. We were use to a resort location and thought the condo would be more in line.

We stayed here for a few days and found the condo was quite nice. A fair bit of street noise in the living room and the lanai isn’t very private as the windows from the unit next door are right beside you but the bedroom at the back is very quiet. Overall very nice, clean and spacious condo with all of the things you need for a stay in Maui.

Power was out to due to a storm for over 12 hrs. I had to contact the property owner to let him know. He asked if I had flashlights. That was it. All contact was initiated by me.

We enjoyed our stay and used it as a base to explore the island. Easy check in. Pool was nice. Main bed was very comfy, the sofa bed is better for kids than adults. Very well equipped kitchen.

We have stayed here 5 times now. Location works well for us and condo is spacious and bright. Large master bedroom and open floor plan is awesome. Corner unit is filled with windows which we kept open and just used the fans. Didn't need A/C.

We had a very nice time at this property! The patio is perfect for al fresco dining (surprisingly bug free, but I suppose that is due to the constant breeze). The condo is clean and very well stocked with beach equipment and towels, the latter of which was a pleasant surprise! Adam is easy to communicate/get in touch with and we'd stay here again if back in the area!

Seriously quit looking at other listings. I spent weeks looking at listings but so many positive reviews had me going with this one (and so glad we did). Great location, beautiful layout inside, fully stocked kitchen and a really, really comfortable bed! Can’t wait to return someday!!
One tip… Maui Bread Company in the first strip mall south of the condo is to fricken die for. It’s run by the sweetest German lady and she really knows her bread… there’s a breakfast spot next door that’s also amazing

Host was wonderful with timely communication! View was nice and got to enjoy the music from the parking lot across the way on Friday and Saturday night as we ate dinner on the lanai. Location was convenient for sightseeing. Bed was comfortable and spacious bathroom. The couch was old and uncomfortable and made loud noises when sitting down and rising from it. Beach amenities need updated, torn beach chairs. Overall nice place and lots of windows to enjoy view of the beach. Would stay here again.

This is an ideal property that provides easy access to all parts of the island. Property as described. Morning coffee on the balcony was a joy. We kind of wrote the pool off thinking it wouldn’t be worth the time. We wandered down day before last just to take a peek. I went immediately back to the unit to grab my towel and sunscreen. It’s immaculate and the view is gorgeous. There is a whole closet of water toys and a cooler. Beach towels provided. I would rent this place again in a heartbeat.

We loved this condo. The location was great...close to some good restaurants, shave ice and coffee! We enjoyed the ocean view every morning. The condo was clean, and although just a one bedroom it was plenty big for my family of 5. My two teens slept on the fold out couch and my younger son slept on the fold out mattress pad provided. The master bedroom, bathroom and kitchen were all very nice and a good size. The boogie boards, towels, and cooler were a nice bonus that made our stay easier.

Newly renovated condo, very spacious with everything you need. You couldn’t ask for a better location, everything is within walking distance. The beach is right across the street. Surfing lessons offered next store, dining and bars are close by.
The master bed was extremely comfortable , a washer and dryer made it very convenient. The kitchen is loaded with everything you need to cook at home. The owner is very nice and is easy to reach.
We loved staying there and would do it again in a heartbeat.

This property was perfect for our three night stay in Maui - I wish we could've stayed longer because it felt like home. There was every single item I could possibly need stocked in the condo - soaps, sunscreen, dishes, beach chairs, beach towels, umbrellas, etc. etc.! Just awesome! The pool was fantastic as well. I would stay here again in a heartbeat!
