Beautifully situated among rustling palms and verdant tropical greenery, this townhouse-style condo brings both privacy and convenience to your next Poipu escape. This tranquil home offers a secluded garden patio on the ground floor, an upstairs lanai with gorgeous sunset views, and a prime position within a few minutes' walk of two renowned South Shore beaches, a pair of community pools, and other fantastic on-site amenities.

This condo is enviably positioned at the end of its building, with no foot traffic noise coming from above and nothing to intrude on the privacy of the lush garden patio. The two-level layout is wonderfully open, with tropical breezes that regularly come through and circulate with the help of ceiling fans (as well as air conditioning in the main bedroom). As you come in from a day at Brennecke's or Poipu Beach, you'll be greeted by a carpeted living room with large windows and glass doors that lead out to the patio. A four-person breakfast bar connects the space to the kitchen, where you'll find richly hued cabinetry, elegant countertops, and every essential appliance. There's space to dine both at the indoor table and outside on the patio, with well-maintained gas grills stationed throughout the resort.

Toss the day's swimsuits in the private washer/dryer on the ground floor and entertain yourselves all evening with a selection of games and DVDs, flatscreen TVs in the living room and the bedrooms, and free WiFi. But there's no entertainment quite like the sunsets you'll enjoy from the upstairs lanai, which is accessed through the loft-like bedroom on the second floor.

This condo's ice maker and ice chests (available for guest use!) will come in handy for those interested in island touring and excursions! This two-story condo is a walker's delight, with all sorts of amenities and activities available just outside the front door. You'll have access to two pools - one specific to Manualoha down the hill and one within the Poipu Kai Association up the hill - as well as a hot tub, grills, and tennis courts (tennis requires an additional fee). When you're ready to hit the beach, pack up the provided beach toys and follow the Poipu Kai Green Belt, a paved walking/exercise trail that takes you right to Brennecke's Beach in a matter of minutes (with Poipu Beach just beyond; both are great spots to soak up the sun). Families will love the Baby Beach in Poipu, a shallow water beach perfect for very young guests to enjoy. In the other direction are Shipwreck's Beach and the Mahaulepu Heritage Trail, a great coastal hike that takes you along rugged cliffs and the sand dunes of Poipu. This spot on Kauai's sun-splashed South Shore is also close to the Poipu Shopping Village (less than a mile), an assortment of wonderful restaurants, Spouting Horn, and the National Tropical Botanical Garden (both are three miles west).

We have 6 children and we were able to walk to the beach every day. There is a pool to swim in and open grass to play in. The home has beach gear to use. Just bring buy little plastic spoons because the spoons provided are quite large and not meant for little mouths. There are a few teaspoons, but if you want to avoid washing them just pick up a box of disposable spoons.

Our group loved every minute at this property. We could see the ocean while swimming in the pool. We walked to the beach in the morning to see the sea turtles and seals lying on the beach. It also was a great location to get every where we wanted to go. Plenty of beds and supplies. Even the fold out couches were comfortable. Love every minute and would highly recommend to anyone and everyone!

Close enough to the beach to walk, and spacious giving parents and teens their own spaces. Adequately stocked for cooking meals and a large cooler provided for trips to the beach. Would stay here again.

I wanted assurances I had the access code before I had no wifi support, got no response from Vacasa. Clothes dryer didn't work, I got no response from Vacasa.

So clean and roomy. We had all we needed except for a working dryer, the oven didn’t fit the cookie sheet, knives were very dull and toaster was Broken. We had a wonderful time and it was a beautiful location. We would come back.

We love this resort because of the proximity to beaches and restaurants. The condo was clean and bed in master was comfy. The pullout couches in the living room were fine for the kids. We were missing some things when we arrives and VACASA was very responsive and got us what we needed the next day. The pools on property are clean and not too far away. We love Manualoha and would stay again.

Great location near the beach, 5 min walk. No AC except for a portable unit in the master but there are fans in other sleeping areas. It’s still quite warm at night. Pretty decent supply of pots and pans and utensils in kitchen. I always think it’s nice to have essential spices and oil for cooking but luckily I had brought that stuff just in case. It’s a good place and worth the stay.

This is a beautiful location very close to the pool and ocean. The home is clean. There were two problems with our stay. First, the home advertises that it sleeps eight, yet there are no sheets for the pull-out couches that are required to sleep eight. (We had five people, meaning we needed one of the two pull-out couches. There were no sheets for us.) The other problem was the lack of information about the light switches. So, so many switches and no labels on any of them. It seemed to be no rhyme or reason as to what switch controlled what. There's a remote for the living room fan, for example, and that remote only works the fan if one particular switch is in the correct position. It's a guessing game as to what might turn on with any particular switch. (Also, it should be noted that the living room light once came on randomly at night without interaction.) Look, this is a vacation home, and people aren't going to be spending large chunks of time there... so just put some labels on light switches so people aren't frustrated trying to figure out how to do something as basic as activating a light source. Never did figure out how to turn on the dining room light. In addition, we attempted to watch TV once but couldn't figure out how to turn that on either.

Beautiful property just as pictured and described! The property had all the amenities including smart TVs in each room and even came with beach towels, umbrellas, and chairs. Family-friendly and safe gated community - tennis court and pools with beach view. Great location minutes from popular Poipu beach and close to Koloa shops. Would stay again and definitely recommend this property!

I would rent this lovely condo again. So convenient. It was very clean and the furniture is nice, too. Our only concern was that a lot of extention cords are used to plug most things in. Maybe it's just my own phobia. But - I would stay again in a heartbeat. We also donated a beach umbrella to the beach closet. :) Thank you for everything. Lisa McClure
