If you're up for a hike, pack a small cooler and head outside for a walk or small hike about a mile east where you can find the trailhead that leads you down to Wyllie's Beach. If it's an adventure you need, try zip lining or horseback riding at the popular Princeville Ranch just about a mile and a half down Kuhio Highway. You also can rent a kayak or paddleboard to take out at the infamous Hanalei Bay. The north shore of Kauai is known for the most majestic mountains and beaches just in your backyard.
