Accommodations were great. Nice view of the ocean from the balcony. Easy drive to beaches for swimming. Would definitely book again.

The property and pictures are described as they are. Great location. Perfect sized little kitchen. Everything was clean. The pool was very nice and well taken care of. Right across the street from the beach. It's a small beach area and very Rocky so not the best for swimming, but certainly good for any board activities.
My only complaint would be what others have mentioned, the air conditioning. We realized in Hawaii that it's just a difference in culture. In general on the island I found the AC very lacking. Even malls were "outdoor malls" that require no air conditioning. Being from Canada, this took some getting used to. But the room was kept cool by the Ac unit, it was just very loud and unfortunately right next to your head.

Its a older place but very nice,clean and great location. Parking was in a garage which was nice and was watched all the time. The only thing was its a out dated condo and if you have running air-condition all night its hard to sleep.

The condo was very clean, but the curtains had holes in them and needed replacing. The AC could not be turned down from high and was very noisy. The location is GREAT!

The description and pictures of the property are accurate. It's a bit old school but comfortable and funcional
It is located right across the street from a small beach, that does not look particularly exciting at a first glance but we saw a lot of turtles, fish and even a manta while snorkeling there
The community garden is beautiful and the area is quiet. It is located very close to Koloa and Poipu

We had a wonderful stay here. The room is small but was enough for what we needed.
The studio was clean and well organized. The view down the balcony was great!
As others have said, this is not the place for you if you can’t walk up 3 flights of stairs, if you hate being woken up by roosters in the morning, or if you have to have strong air conditioning.
The location was wonderful. You are within walking distance of great snorkeling and a marketplace with plenty of food places.
I would stay here again!

We came to stay for our honeymoon. We only needed a small space and this was perfect. Close to everything, great view, and had everything that we needed. We enjoyed the pool, grills, on-site laundry, and having the cooler! I can't think of anything that I would change honestly...except for having to leave!

From the balcony we saw historic ruins and mountains one way and the ocean the other way. The grounds and pool are beautiful. A short walk to the public beach with some of the best snorkeling on the island and/or the evening sunset. Also a quick drive to all our south and West Island destinations. Very quick repo sea from the property manager. Thanks!!

Two small things could be fixed and added.
One is glass or plastic wine glasses would be nice.
And two the toilet bowl handle kept falling off.
Otherwise stay was very nice thank you

The Prince Kuhio is a perfect location, conveniently located near the airport and to other parts of the island. It is right across the street from the beach with easy snorkeling access. The surrounding gardens and pool area are beautiful, very underrated! The views from the balcony are excellent - beach and palms in one direction and the mountains in the other. The roosters are indeed loud so beware and bring your earplugs! We are looking forward to our next trip and will definitely stay here again!

We spent 2 days on Kauai after a week on Maui. This unit was small but adequate for our stay. We liked that we were next to open space not another condo building. The parking garage was nearby but we wanted to park on site. The parking lot was small and backing out was a little awkward.

True studio with all you could need to prepare food. Closet and a few small drawers for clothing storage during your stay..
Property is beautiful and close to one of the best sunset watching beaches. You can hear each time the neighbors ket the door slam shut but the AC will drine it out.
Can see the ocean from your room and wild chickens are constant entertainment from the patio.
We had some communication challenges because they relay from VRBO and the property managers, but in the end, the property managers made a genuine effort to resolve and they did!

- Location! Lawai Beach was a perfect snorkel spot and dinner at the Beach House on our last night far exceeded our expectations
- Having a full kitchen, plenty of towels, and laundry pods was much appreciated
- The rooms were well insulated from heat and most noise, which made the stay restful and pleasant (no accounting for roosters!)

Bed linens not fresh as shown in photo; rod too large for drapery grommets so draperies could not be easily closed (and had been previously torn as a result); utensils just a mishmash; bed pillows old, hard and uncomfortable; bedside lamps in poor shape. Great coffee and cookies, but can get that anywhere. Photo looks MUCH nicer than the actual condo. Stayed in a much nicer two-bedroom condo for same price in Princeville, north Kauai.

We enjoyed our stay and felt the listing accurately reflected the unit. It is overdue for a refresh/TLC but this seems to have been somewhat considered in setting the monthly rate.

Perfect size for my husband and I! This was not our first time at Prince Kuhio, but our first time in this unit. We do not spend much time in the condo when we travel to Kauai, but it had everything we needed. The Tommy Bahama beach chairs and umbrellas were a nice surprise. We mostly ate quick meals, but the kitchen was well stocked with pots and pans and anything you needed if you wanted to REALLY cook. Also love when the sink/vanity area is separate from the toilet and shower... nice to have the extra space when it's just one bathroom. We even received a check-in call from the property manager to make sure everything was ok, much appreciated!
