Walk among 3 Hawaiian Kings who lived in the beautiful area of Keauhou, Kona. This gated, 16 acre resort style complex boasts a meticulously maintained tropical landscape, 3 lit tennis courts, large pool, covered pavillions with BBQs, and grass volleyball court.
1-101 is a private, ground floor, corner unit with wrap around lanai, grassy lawn, and ocean views to get lost in. This unit has undergone gorgeous renovations including acacia hardwood floors, brand new stainless steel appliances, full sized washer and dryer, Amazon Echo Alexa device and state of the art split-zoned AC. The quality furnishings, totally renovated kitchen (2023), custom Gyotaku (fish print art), and tasteful Hawaiiana decor is all part of your luxury cultural experience. The "Mauka" or mountainside bedroom offers a king-sized bed, large closet, and a view of the slopes of Hualalai. The "Makai" or oceanside bedroom offers classic shoji doors, king-sized bed and access to the oceanfront lanai.
Located within the complex are several archaeological sites significant to the Hawaiian culture. This condo shares a boundary line with one of them. The structural remains of King Kamehameha The Great's first home on the island of Hawaii, where he lived, worshiped and led council. While relaxing outside, in the island breeze, you can feel the "Mana" or supernatural-force left behind by these ancient places.
Watch for whales in winter, walk to nearby Kahalu'u Beach Park for world class snorkeling, or venture out to the countless attractions that the Big Island of Hawaii has to offer. A five minute drive to La'aloa (White Sands Beach), or a 2 hour drive to Hilo or Volcano, and everything in between will have you enjoying memories of your time here forever.

FYI. The dates for the pool replastering project have been set. The dates are Apri;15- May 3, 2024. If you have guests during this time , please inform them of the closure. Due to denials in the past with attempts to get use of another properties pool nearby. The only pool available is the county pool at the Kona Aquatic Center
Please keep in mind, we manage the unit itself and are not responsible for other units in the complex nor may we be aware of all construction going on inside the complex

Kona Community Aquatic Center is 15 minutes drive from Keauhou Kona Surf & Racquet Club. It is located at 75-5530 Kuakina Highway. The center features a swimming pool for public use that also stages various competitions and events throughout the year.
Hours of operation:
Monday-Friday: 6.15am to 7.30pm
Saturday and Sunday: 8.15am to 5.30pm
Closed on Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day and New Year's Day
Amenities:
A 50 meter long heated outdoor pool, with lifeguards. Pool is usually set up with 25 yard lanes towards the deep end. There is no check-in desk or gate, open to the public and free. Ample free parking. Four lanes are reserved for lap swimming and for those wanting to practice their dives, there are two one meter boards at the pool. In addition to lap swimming, swimming lessons are offered here as well as water polo and masters swimming events. Individuals looking to do lap swimming might want to avoid weekday afternoons when local schools use the pool. There are lockers and showers available here too. Bring your own combination lock.

The room was as advertised. The property is beautiful and we very much enjoyed our stay. Only item to note is that the water heater only allowed for a quick hot shower, other than that everything was great. House was fully stocked with essentials and the kitchen was perfect for dining in.

The view from this condo was the best we found on the island. We made sure we watched our last Hawaiian sunset from here. We were going to stay at a resort with an ocean front room that would’ve cost us more, but found this gorgeous place. It is a very short walk to the pool and there is a sheltered picnic area with grills across from it that you can reserve. We woke up every day to a beautiful ocean and palm tree view. We were witness to the most beautiful sunsets in the world from this condo. It is like it is in the pictures—even better if that’s possible. Do not hesitate to rent this condo. It is in a good location on the island and very quiet.

We really enjoyed this property. The best feature was the back patio view of the ocean and beautiful sunsets. The property was clean, liked the two king size beds and daughter slept on sleeper sofa. Centrally located and KTA grocery store close.
One knock was TV didn’t work and they only have one TV. Also there was a leak in the kitchen right counter. Every morning we had to wipe the dripping from somewhere. Also the king bed has an air conditioner above the headboard. It dripped condensation on my head occasionally.

We were pleasantly surprised with this condo! I did read the reviews and knew that it would be nice, but we were blown away by the view! The condo has definitely been updated and they did not spare expenses. Everything is nicely done. The condo feels very private because it is in the corner so there’s not a lot of traffic in the front. The family/ dining area and master have an epic view. Very very comfy and cozy. Highly recommend.

The condo was clean and very well stocked (with a view this beautiful you will want to eat every meal on the lanai watch the sun set or the water pound the black lava rocks! ). The pool and tennis courts were great and the wifi was super-fast. The location could not have been better - right on the water with the sun setting under a palm tree right - but also near a shopping center and central to lots of great snorkeling places. The beds were comfortable and the A/C was a huge benefit the hot week we were there!
Abby was a helpful and responsive host, although everything was so well prepared and clearly communicated, we hardly interacted with her at all! Overall, great place to stay for our active and adventuresome family of 4!

A nice location and beautiful view of the ocean from every room. The sea breezes keep the property cool and the sound of the waves lull you to sleep at night. It’s a very comfortable, quiet place to stay with amenities such as tennis, pickleball, pool, ping pong, and friendly folks. I would highly recommend this place!

This condo was perfect for us! The location was close to a shopping center and many restaurants. The condo has been remodeled and we enjoyed the larger rooms, updated kitchen and the spectacular view! We had a small problem with the freezer and Abby was there promptly and got it fixed. We would recommend this condo for a perfect getaway for anyone!

I would definitely return to this place! Sunset view every day! Corner unit with wraparound patio! Fully furnished units, with beach chairs and umbrellas! We appreciated the details upon arrival. Owners take pride in ownership! Does the Management company take care of multiple units within this complex, because we might bring more family members back in the future?
