Mana Kai 714 is a 5-star luxury condominium situated directly on Keawakapu Beach, the most famous beach in Maui. Located on the quiet mountain side of the building, it has two master suites, each with spectacular ocean and volcano views.

Wake up in the morning to the sound of waves, grab a cup of coffee and sit on your private lanai overlooking the beach. Look to your left and watch the sun rise over Haleakala volcano while you check your email using our free wireless internet. At the end of the day look the other way and watch magnificent sunsets between Lanai and Kaho'olawe every evening sipping a cocktail. In between you can watch the whales (5,000 spent the spring here in Maui this year) or just sit and watch the paddle boarders, sunbathers and snorkelers down below.

Walk down the beach to Wailea and the luxury beach front hotels—Andaz, The Grand Wailea, Four Seasons, and Fairmont's Kea Lani. Play golf at the world class courses at the Blue, Gold and Emerald courses at Wailea or the Makena courses, just a five minute drive down the road. There is also great shopping at the Shops at Wailea, and Kihei Town is less than a mile up the road.

Amenities include:

** Breathtaking views down the beach, enhanced with our new electric curtains that provide black out darkness at night and filtered light during the day.

** Full-sized kitchen with granite counter tops and top of the line appliances and all the dishes, silverware pots and pans you’d expect in a luxury condo

**Two master bedroom suites with king size beds that come with Comphy spa sheets

** Two ensuite bathrooms, with walk in showers equipped with L’Occitane bath products and Kassatex towels

**Corner sofa sectional located across from a TV cabinet at the foot of the bed that swivels 180 degrees so you can watch TV while sitting on the sofa or laying in bed

** Upgraded air conditioning system with temperature controls in each bedroom

** Keyless lock system means you never have to worry about locking yourself out or losing a key at the beach

** Chairs and an umbrella are provided and stored in the beach closet by the front door

** All beautifully redecorated and outfitted with new bed and bath linens in the Fall of 2022

Keawakapu Beach is routinely voted one of the most beautiful beaches in Hawaii and is home to multi-million dollar homes down its half mile length. Because of its north/south orientation, waves rarely break over a couple feet, so it is extremely kid friendly. Snorkeling off our point is some of the best on the island.

The resort features a beautiful beachfront swimming pool and numerous vacation conveniences. Although we currently DO NOT have a restaurant on premises, a new restaurant remodel is underway with the anticipated opening in late 2023. The new operators are Bill Terry and Peter Merriman, owners of the popular Monkeypod restaurants and Merriman's in Napili. We believe that the new restaurant will be the best on our side of the island.

In 2023 a new operator took over the general store and deli that is located in the building. Run by the same people that own the popular 808 Deli in Kihei, it is open from 7 am to 7 pm and serves coffee, pastries and a selection of salads and sandwiches. It also carries soft drinks, beer and wine and many locally made products.

An on-sight activity desk can help with excursions such as a sunset dinner cruise, a luau, snorkeling off Molokini or riding bikes down Haleakala. The Surf Shack rents stand-up paddle boards and kayaks for the ocean enthusiast. In 2016 the resort remodeled the basement of the building and built a state-of-the-art work out facility and a business center. There are also outdoor barbecues for our guest's exclusive use.

The picture down the beach was taken on a typical late afternoon from the balcony. You can see why couples get married right on the beach several times a week--it is a magical and memorable place, and it is waiting for you and your family.

So why stay in 714?

You have many choices when you are deciding where to stay in the Mana Kai. All 98 condominiums have identical floor plans; many have been recently remodeled; and some are closer to the ocean or on higher floors than others. Why do we love ours?

Generally, condos that are closer to the ocean side of the building can accommodate higher rental rates. We are slightly contrarian to this view. The view down the beach is similarly spectacular but with the restaurant remodel project underway, our condo is on the quieter side of the building. We also have unobstructed volcano views in our back bedroom where many other units look into the stairwells or the elevator shafts. And the end of the building is more private since we don’t have guests walking past the condo on their way to their rooms or the elevator.

As you can see from the pictures, we completely remodeled our condo when we bought it, and have made many additional improvements over the years, most recently in the Fall of 2022. Deanne is a designer in California, and her choice of colors, art and furnishings are unique and beautiful.

We live here part of the year so it is more than a rental property to us. We buy the kind of things you would put in your house: high quality dishes and silverware, pots and pans and kitchen utensils. We would like you to think about our condo as your home away from home.

We recently upgraded our cleaning practices, hiring 967Attache Services as our on-island property manager and cleaning company. Linens are professionally laundered between stays and the unit is thoroughly cleaned paying special attention to all touch surfaces. We have also recently upgraded to include L’Occitane soap products, Kassatek towels and Comphy sheets, which we replace each year to make sure they are perfect for your stay.

Don’t just take our word for it—check out our 128 (and counting) 5-star reviews on VRBO and see what other guests are saying. You won’t be disappointed, I promise.

Please email me if you have any questions.

Mahalo,

Scott Miller
