Perfect Vrbo for a family of 4. You can’t beat the location… right on the beach and the view is incredible. Every time we looked out the windows we saw whales! Kitchen is fully stocked and everything was very clean. We’ll definitely be back!

This was our 8th time staying at the Mana Kai over the years and the 2nd time we stayed in this unit. It is a beautiful, comfortable and well appointed unit with the familiar spectacular view of the ocean and miles of beach. The location of Mana Kai is a perfect location for the daily 7km beach walk my husband and I enjoy so much. Look forward to another visit to Maui staying at the Mana Kai!

The view and ocean access from this unit were unbeatable! The beds were comfortable, and there were ample blankets, pillows, towels, and beach gear. If you are a light sleeper, you might want to bring your eye mask, as the blinds do not block the light, and ear plugs--the roosters start crowing well before dawn.

Hard to write a good review…. Want to keep this hidden gem to myself. Repeat guest ~ always looking to stay in Kihei when visiting Maui, this time did not disappoint, better then expected and have not had a bad room there yet.
Only thing missing this time (10/2022) is the restaurant….. going to miss 5 Palms, but sounds like new restaurant is a Merriman’s brand (MonkeyPod) so should be pretty good.

This is probably the 10th time I've stayed at the Mana Kai. I booked this place because it looked much nicer than many of the other units. Here are the pros and cons:
Cons:
-Nowhere did they tell me that the restaurant downstairs was closed, or that there would be painting and construction going on during my entire stay. If I had known this, I would have stayed elsewhere!!
-What also isn't made clear is that this is an entire unit - it is about half the size of other units I've stayed in that cost considerably less.
-For some reason they have the bed against the "wrong" side of the room, so when you look out you don't see the ocean. This makes zero sense.
-They have the flimsiest pool/beach towels ever! The towels are small and have the rental agencies's info all over them. For this price, I expect luxury is this was NOT that. I called them to say that I needed more towels and they told me that 4 should be enough. I told them that there were only three (which was true), and the woman on the phone argued with me that I must be wrong and refused to give me any more than one more towel!!
-The people who live upstairs from this unit must have zero soundproofing and you can hear them scraping their chairs etc at all hours of the day and night.
-There are no bathtubs and the showers have almost no water pressure and make a terrible noise when you turn on the hot water.
Pros:
-The bed was really comfortable.
-Beautiful location.
-Easy check-in and check-out.

The location was great for a low key Hawaiian vacation. Lots of shops and restaurants to walk to. Beautiful walkway right off the resort along the ocean and convenient walk to the kites boat dock for snorkeling excursion. We did snorkel right at our beach and saw turtles.

The condo was clean and looked like the pictures. The condo is truly a 1 bedroom, the king size bed is a shared room with the living area. The Mana Kai resort restaurants were closed to purchase beverages or food. This should be disclosed at the time of booking for full transparency. We had a rental car so were not inconvenienced, but I heard complaints from others. Overall, our experience was wonderful.

We have rented at Mana Kai many times. It never fails to deliver from the perspective of stunning views, an uncrowded pool, and walk in easy snorkeling. This particular unit has been very loved in its updated decor. Thing that needs fixing is the water pressure.

Everything about our stay was perfect. Check in was easy and management was responsive. We had a late afternoon flight home and we were able to get a late check out that allowed us to enjoy almost a full day in the unit on the day of departure. My family has stayed at the Mana Kai several times in different units, all very nice. But this unit was one of the best with respect to design and decor, comfort, and how well stocked the kitchen was with special attention to the high quality of everything at hand. It truly was a special treat to stay in 711C for 10 days enjoying the oceanview and beaches for miles. We wouldn't hesitate to stay in this gem again! Thank You!!

This is a great unit in a wonderful location. Located on the beach between Kihei and Wailea. Wake up to sunrise and enjoy sunsets in the evening. Unit is clean, quiet, well stocked and nice furniture and beds. I’ll book again.

Had a great stay at this property. Beach chairs and umbrella made available on the lanai, which made getting the beach even easier (didn’t have to carry anything for a long period of time). Close by to restaurants, supermarkets and convenience stores.

Today is check out day and I’m totally bummed! We so don’t want to go home. This is our 2nd stay at Mana Kai and we won’t be staying anywhere else. This location is absolutely perfect. The beach is amazing, we get up every morning and do 7am yoga facing the ocean! There is a rental place on site where you can get stand up paddle boards, etc. 711 was a wonderful rental. The bed was super comfortable. There were 3 adults and a child and we had plenty of room. It’s all updated with great appliances. I need this microwave in my house!!
The only mishap was the cleaning person was supposed to do a clean in the middle of our stay and she didn’t show up so we had to call. Once we did, she came the next day so it was fine.
Love having the laundry facilities onsite. A little pricey but it’s very handy!
We will definitely be back, thanks once again Maui for a beautiful vacation!!

We’ve stayed in several other Mana Kai condos and this one is our favorite. Completely redesigned, this unit is spacious, efficient, modern and beautiful. Love how the master bedroom has been reworked to be more open and spacious, avoiding the awkward hallway in some units.
The kitchen worked very well for us, we cooked several nights for hungry teenagers. All appliances are modern and we had everything we needed.
The Mana Kai is the best condo building we’ve found on Maui, with the perfect combination of location and amenities.

We enjoyed our stay here in this newly remodeled condo right on the beach! You could not ask for a better location to do just about anything: snorkel, watch sunsets, watch whales and take long walks on the beach. AA did a great job having everything ready and the place was like brand new - very clean, top notch classy interior and they responded to a request we had promptly. Close to all the shops and restaurants as well. We would definitely stay here again with AA Oceanfront. Thank you!

We absolutely loved our time in Maui! This condo was exactly what we were looking for in terms of accommodations. The location was outstanding, away from the busy section of Kihei, while still close, bordering right on beautiful Wailea. The beach immediately outside the condo was perfect for lounging, swimming, spotting a sea turtle, even whale watching (we noticed them from afar on our last 2 days....a great surprise). The unit itself was exactly as shown in the pictures - recently renovated, modern/sleek design, very clean, stunning view (can't emphasize this enough). We cooked many of our meals in the well appointed kitchen. We were able to jog right from the condo, and used the gym conveniently located in the basement almost every day. We highly recommend this unit/condo, and hope to be back!

I spent way too much time researching and worrying about picking the right place in Maui. This was perfect for us! As you can see from the pictures, the design is absolutely beautiful, and no detail was overlooked. (The manager of the condo told us that our unit is the best on the property.) The location was perfect, with a view and access to what may now be our favorite beach. Our "long walks on the beach" could take us as far as Wailea Beach. We loved being right between Kihei and Wailea, like getting the best of both worlds. The owners were very attentive in making sure we were happy with our stay. I know there's a lot of choices on Maui, but our next visit may take us back to this same spot!

Mana Kai is the perfect spot for a south coast Maui vacation. The resort is beautifully maintained, secure, and comfortable. The beach out front is one of the best beaches of the south Maui coast. I swam with a majestic sea turtle right on the shore on my very first day in the Pacific. There is beautiful snorkeling at a reef just steps into the ocean. The pool is large enough to accommodate all the guests nicely, and there were always plenty of lounge chairs available for everyone either at the pool or on the beautifully manicured lawn in front of the beach. Unit 711 was exactly as promised. Newly renovated with a fully stocked kitchen, large refrigerator and freezer, and a comfortable living room couch and lanai for plenty of places to sit and hang out. The back bedroom has its own A/C unit so my daughter and I were able to sleep comfortably with the AC on at night, while my sister and her husband took advantage of the ocean breezes and open screen doors, falling asleep to the sound of the surf each night. The resort is central to most activities and we were able to travel into Lahaina for dinner and a cruise, each night in about an hour's drive one way. There is a beautifully clean, well stocked, appropriately priced Safeway just 3.3 miles from the resort, and numerous, variably priced, restaurants to choose from extending from Kihei into Wailea.
I chose this resort and unit based solely on my own research performed on the web. I admit I was holding my breath when we drove into the parking lot, because one can never be too sure of the honesty of reviews and pictures, but I can tell you, I was even more impressed in person than I had been online. I hope to be back again very soon.

First of all Kihei is much more chill than Kaanapali where there are zillions of people so stay here. Although this is in a condo tower 8 stories high it is the only one in the area. The beach is long and goes past a dozen or more beautiful homes. To the farthest spot and back is about a mile and a half. We loved the lawn at this property where u can sun but also chill in the shade of the palm trees. The unit itself is perfect. Probably the nicest one in the whole place. It’s as if a builder and an interior designer had no budget and just made a place to the highest standards. You might want to bring additional beach towels. There was just one per person and they take forever to dry. There is one laundry room per floor $6 per load. Also the restaurant in the main lobby is overpriced and pretty average. Head down the road just a little to Kihei or if you want to spend the money go to Monkeypod or the Ka’hana Kitchen. The bar does not have plastic cups for takeaway to the pool or beach. The set up of these units with a bed in the main room is a little odd but it worked out great for us. 100% recommend
