Stayed here for 2-weeks with my wife and two kids. The location is terrific and right on the beach. Views are gorgeous. Think the living room furniture needs updating and the condo staff seem to welcome people more that book directly with them versus someone booking through a 3rd party which isn’t the owners fault at all. Didn’t like the change the pool and restroom code everyday as it would be nice if they texted you the new code versus having to wait until 9 am to get the new code. The beach does allow public access so can get busy. Tracy at the conceirge is amazing.

Great place to stay, well stocked with towels, beach gear, and appliances were exceptional. The location and view is probably the best on Maui!!!

Fantastic location, waves are clearly audible in the bedroom, you're right on a beach with great snorkeling! Worth noting: the key code on the door really does unlock at exactly check in time; we were there 3 minutes early and code did not work until 1 minute after.

From the moment we walked in and saw our view from the leni until the day we checked out our stay was amazing. The property is beautiful, very well kept, the staff was very friendly and accommodating, and they even have an adorable kitty. Our unit had everything that we needed to make our stay relaxing and fun. The location is perfect and only a short distance to restaurants and shopping. I highly recommend and we would definitely stay here again.

We have never been for to Mana Kai for whale watching season until this trip. It was a wonderful time and we went on several whale watching trips. We could also see whales spouting right from the beach at Mana Kai. We went out in kayaks from Mana Kai and saw whales as well. The condo was wonderful and we enjoyed every minute of our vacation!

We really liked the location of the condo building with it being right on the beach. The condo was equipped with a good selection of kitchen ware and appliances.

This condo is the best location I have stayed in on Maui, and I have been coming here for 20 years. The views were amazing and the beach was perfect. The complex is well run and maintained. Just an amazing place.

This property is perfectly situated at a point of the Keawakapu Beach. Its green lawns leading to perfect sandy beach and snorkeling reef is exactly what you want while in Hawaii.

I chose this place based on its location and reviews and it did not disappoint. The beach is long, clean, and stunning and literally down the elevator, just past the pool and the grass. Right there. The water is pristine and even on the windiest days, the waves were manageable for the kids. The reef right next to the building was perfect for snorkeling and although I went 5 times to that same reef, I never got bored. There's a shop for renting snorkel gear, paddle boards, boogie boards, etc which wasn't fancy but they had what we needed and it was really cheap. The 808 General Store had just opened and getting new items every day. The have some pantry items, snacks, gifts, drinks, charcuterie items, ice cream and some beer on draft and were just getting fresh fruit and salads. Really lovely people in there. The pool was incredibly clean (and very warm!) and it was maintained everyday. The beach is home to a lot of locals that we saw walking every morning. It didn't feel super touristy which was nice. The room itself felt like an apartment with adequate seating and sleeping. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook our meals which we did most of the time. Plenty of towels for the beach and for the rooms. It was overall very cozy. The beds were really really soft so my back was a little achy but sleeping with the sound of the waves in Hawaii made it all worth it. The lanai faced the ocean and was perfect for all of our meals as long as we weren't eating late for dinner because there is no lighting out there. This was our first time in Maui and I feel like we had the perfect spot! It's about a mile from the shops and restaurants in Kihei so you don't feel like you're in the middle of too much stuff. And it's about 1.5 miles from the fancy hotels in Wailea so between those two areas, you can get everything you need without being with all the other people. I would definitely recommend and will definitely come back. If you want to come to Hawaii and really really relax, this is the spot.

Our family of 4 (including 6 and 4 year olds) loved our stay in this unit. The lanai views are great. The easy access to both beach and pool was great for traveling with young ones. Kihei is a great town with so many great dining options, and you're super close to Wailea if you'd like a bit more upscale dining options. We enjoyed outings to Surfing Goat Dairy, Ocean Vodka Farm (amazing views and food), Maui Ocean Center (awesome aquarium), Pride of Maui Sunset Cruise ... all of these are about 30 min away. We would definitely stay here again once the on-property restaurant, bar and general store are back in operation.

The beach and the view from the room is great! Everything else was not great! I'll start with the coin laundry, they made all of our clothes smell awful, they need to be cleaned or upgraded. The views from the lanai were great, the issue was that there were people smoking cigarettes and weed on the lanai. Makes it unusable for us. We thought and hoped only for one day but it ended up being everyday for the last 5 days of our trip. One morning it was for 3 hours straight. We were told that the restaurant would be undergoing renovations but it turns out that it is closed for good and the deli was also closed for good. None of this was mentioned. No option to grab food or drinks on the property at all, this should have been mentioned. Lastly and not least, all of the sinks backed up and were unusable on Father's Day. We had to leave the unit and were unable to make our meals as planned. No hand washing, cooking, washing dishes, etc. The front desk told us, yes this is a very known issue you must contact the folks you rented from. We spent Father's Day trying to get in touch with folks to fix our sinks. When they did, someone came out and left a note that said " I Don't think the sink is fixed but if you use the disposal while running water it drains." Yes, that was true but also makes all the bathrooms sinks fill up. The was a huge waste of time. Finally they sent a real plumber and it was handled but that should've been the case 10 hours earlier. It pains me to leave a poor review but honestly these issues really impacted our trip. I would not return to this property. :(

We had a wonderful vacation and were very satisfied with the condo. The view, location and value were great. The building was well -run and maintained. It was nice to have snorkel, etc equipment rentals on-site. Would've liked to have had the availability of the general store, bar and restaurant as advertised but were okay without it. We enjoyed happy hour & sunset on the grassy area almost every night. We used the laundry facilities twice and were pleased with the ease and convenience of it. The chairs and umbrella were also a plus. We didn't use the cooler, too big, and would've used a smaller, soft-sided cooler if it was available. Only regret-that we didn't stay longer!

Mana Kai offers a great location for someone to wake up and enjoy a perfect Maui beachfront view. Enjoy meals on your private lanai looking at Molokini and the beach. The grounds were very well kept and offer a great option of sitting beachside on a grassy lawn. The staff works hard to maintain the grounds and it shows. Gas grills are offered as an additional cooking option next to the lawn area- allowing for your own beachside barbecue. There are great restaurants with multiple price points all within a short drive. The condo comes with everything you need to enjoy a fantastic relaxing vacation near Wailea.

Hands down our favourite property that we have stayed at in Maui. The location can’t be beat. The unit is located right on one of Maui’s nicest beaches with something for everyone. There’s coral for snorkelling, lots of stretches of long sandy beach for the budding castle builders and a very nice heated pool for evenings.
The unit is well equipped with everything we needed for our two weeks in Maui. As an added bonus the two king sized beds gave us lots of room for sleeping after long days on the beach and pool.
Todd the property manager was an absolute pleasure to deal with. He was very quick to respond to questions and address any issues we had. He graciously allowed us extra time at check out after our flight got delayed.
I can safely say that this unit will be at the top of our list for our next visit.

We have stayed at the Mana Kai many times due to the fabulous location on the beach with snorkling steps away. The accommodations are not luxury which is why I don't rate it 5 stars.
410 is close to the elevator and mid building. If you go to bed early and have the doors to the lani open (a wonderful feature) you may get some crowd noise as it is the 4th floor. The kitchen is very nice and updated. My main suggestions for improvements would be replacing the sheer curtains. They are quite dingy. And adding a few more beach towels. Also the couch cushions is quite worn and my husband actually bruised himself on the underlying frame for the sleeper mattress while sitting in the couch.
It was a wonderful trip and these suggestions are minor.

We were at the Mana Kai 14 years ago (different unit) and knew we had to come back! We love the views, the ease of getting on (and off) the beach, the restaurant and amenities, and the setup of the 2-bedroom units - it's a perfect place to stay with a family. Unit 410 was updated, clean and well-equipped, and working with Todd was an absolute pleasure. He was friendly and responsive to my many questions during the craziness of the COVID restrictions. Would definitely recommend!
