We had an amazing time, we liked our condo, beautiful view and the rooms and beds worked out great for our family of 5. The grounds and Pool is clean and lovely. The beach is amazing and the snorkeling right on our own reef is amazing. We 100% would love to stay here again. We really liked the staff here too, and the gym in the basement is big with great work out equipment. We loved how past guests leave stuff like sand toys etc, we donated kids life jackets and goggles. Only suggestion i would say is add a couple of rugs maybe by the front door and slider door and a rug on the sides of the bed, due to the sand it does stick to the feet no matter how hard you try. 😀 love this place!

Been coming to various units in Mana Kai for years... first time in this one. Can't beat location and sound of the waves! We would like to suggest a new toaster, new weather stripping on front door to help with whistling during afternoon winds, maybe check the seal to toilet in master bathroom to the tile, a few more cooking pans and large bowl for pasta or salad would be great!

Views are spectacular from room and front entrance. Property is nice with a great beach for snorkeling and swimming. Property was being renovated so the restaurant and gym were closed was the only disappointment.

Renting this property was very easy. The only hiccup we had was getting our entry codes to the room. Evidently they sent the email to the wrong address and we had to go to property manager to get our codes. Could use a little more kitchen items such as bowls and knives without serrated edges for chopping vegetables. Also new frying pans as those were scratched up pretty badly. We did a lot of cooking. Otherwise, we love the Mana Kai and have stayed there many times!!!!

What a stellar view! This property's lanai and view from the main bedroom is without compare. The location is accurately considered a premium spot. Layout of the units (we used the full two bedrooms and two bathrooms) worked perfectly for our situation. Appliances were updated and very clean. Though we didn't use the various beach chairs and other available outside gear available in the main closet, it was thoughtful of the owners to have those accessories available.
It can get a little windy in the evening (tradewinds) and there is sometimes a "tea kettle whistle" effect that happens with the front door transom window, but we actually thought it was kind of sweet and funny. We would HAPPILY come back to this unit. The owners were super easy to communicate and work with. They have a lot to be proud of with this property. You definitely would enjoy staying here!

So I will say that the floors had not been cleaned, and the sheets in the second room were stained. A dust pan (there was a broom but no pan) and especially a mop would have been greatly helpful. However, that being said this condo is absolutely incredible and I will absolutely return again soon! You really cannot beat this location! The giant patio has the most gorgeous view. The room is beautiful and very well updated and stocked. It was great having chairs, an umbrella, and other beach/pool items provided. Beds and pillows were very comfortable which was a big deal for me having had back surgery earlier this year. The pool was very warm and perfect for afternoons when the ocean got too rough to enjoy. We brought our own snorkel gear but there was some in the condo too. We went snorkeling every day right off the beach here and saw loads of fish and various turtles every day, it was incredible! I had even paid for a snorkel tour and we saw way more just off the beach at the condo vs the tour to the crater which was quite pricey. There are loads of fantastic restaurants and shopping nearby, we never had to go more than a few minutes up the road for amazing food. I never received an email from vacasa before arrival but had called when we landed in Maui and it was super easy to get situated plus the gal was so nice and quick to send me info. I was provided a code from vacasa for the room and checked in at the desk where they gave me the parking pass. I had messaged the owner as well before arrival who was very friendly and also very quick to reply even though they were on vacation themself. I really can't say enough positive things about this condo!!!! I can't wait to go back!

Absolutely loved our stay. The condo came with everything we needed. The view is amazing. Loved the beach, turtles swam by daily. Snorkeling was excellent. Communicating with the owner could not have been easier. We would not hesitate to stay here again. Mahalo for such a wonderful experience.

My mom and I stayed here to celebrate Mother’s Day! Our tradition is to golf so the location of the property was ideal! We were close to the Wailea Golf Club so we were able to get two rounds in. The beach access couldn’t have been better, we will definitely be visiting again.

Apartment was great. The view was as in the pictures. The beach is less developed (a plus!) than those near Kaanapali, so much more pleasant and no crowds. There were many tasty restaurants <10 mins away. The beds were comfy, and the space clean and nice. The kids loved the beach and the pool. Would definitely stay there again!

Had a great stay! Place was exactly as advertised. Stayed with family and was very quiet- far away from elevator bank so no noise. View and deck was excellent. While our little guy was napping this made for a nice relaxing place to hang out and enjoy the sunshine.

Everything was fantastic. The views are exactly what you see online and maybe one of the best views on then island with a full mountain, Long Beach, and ocean front view.
Only issue (and it’s not the owners fault), the people above us get up super early. And they make a lot of noise opening and closing the balcony door.

One thing my Dad always told me...you get what you pay for. This is true for this property. We stayed in a 2 suite condo at the Mana Kai South Kihei. It was fairly recently remodeled with a clean simple style that we loved. The kitchen was well appointed with most of what you need to cook and such. The beds were comfy and they had many pillows to choose your best fit. They supplied plenty of towels and beach towels too. Beach chairs and an assortment of pool floats.
The best part of this property is the view and location. It is right next to one of the best beaches in Maui - Keawakapu. It has a reef that is very close to the condo for pretty good snorkeling. Right below in the same building is a very nice restaurant and bar called 5 Palms. Nice PuPu's and cocktails. Also fine dining with a great view of the beach and ocean.
If you are looking for a location really close to shopping (not walking distance). There is a very nice outdoor mall - The Shops at Wailea. This also has very nice restaurants. There are many other shopping options on South Kihei Road if you need souvenirs.
One negative for this property. The owner wants the full cost of the rental upfront with a strict refund policy. We were willing to do this since we have stayed previously at the Mana Kai, in 2 other properties. We did cover ourselves some with trip insurance but with Covid cancellations, it is a risk for sure.

Great condo, beautiful views right outside wall to wall windows, location was perfect for us. We didn't mind hopping in our car to explore all parts of Maui. However, we could have easily just stayed put at resort, enjoyed our beautiful beach, with snorkeling right there and the fantastic restaurant that's right there at the resort as well.

This condo is beautifully remodeled, and the view from the lanai is amazing. We made almost all of our meals in the kitchen and it was well-stocked. It was a great home-base for our week in Maui.

The view was every bit as described and then some. Looking out from either side of this unit was simply breathtaking! The unit was as described and in pretty good shape as far as cleanliness. I would recommend wearing socks as even day one our feet were black just waking around the unit. Maybe just an oversight on the cleaning crew. Other then the floor issue, everything else was fantastic and we enjoyed our stay very much! I would recommend this to anyone who want the full picturesque Hawaiian experience!

We overall loved our stay. The rental was in a great location, and went above with accommodations. We just had some minor confusion over the check in process - the attachment given had an address listed (separate from the property) to go to check in, when we called ahead on our way there the woman said we should have received an email with the access code but we never received that. We also seemed to be missing one pillowcase in the set of sheets in the closet for the sofa bed, and had a minor incident where one of the bedroom fire alarms kept going off. Luckily the maintenance at the building was able to take care of the fire alarm after a few hours, and overall those minor things were not huge problems at all.
Even with those minor hiccups, our family greatly enjoyed our stay at Mana Kai.

We just returned from a week stay and perfect vacation. The unit was fully remodeled, comfy beds and the location is excellent. We took a taxi from the airport, and then used Touro for a car rental on two of our days. It was all so easy.
The beach at the resort is great and the unit has beach chairs you can tote down. Fully stocked kitchen and easy to have groceries delivered. We will return!
