Great place to relax and unwind after a day out exploring! The condo is very spacious and clean!
We enjoyed the pool and hot tub as well!
Close proximity to the beach and local eats! The balcony offers a nice little extension to its living space and by having the doors open offered a nice way to cool down!
Kitchen was missing a few items (salad bowls, and bowls to have ramen) and did not have any boogie boards or snorkels, if you are interested in a unit that supplied such things (we weren’t fussed). Otherwise it had everything else that we needed!
As mentioned in other reviews, it has quite a bit of stairs to navigate with luggage.

We had the best stay at Paul and Mandy’s place. The condo is in the best location. We did have a vehicle rented for the week but truthfully wouldn’t have been a requirement, lots of restaurants and grocery necessities within walking distance, Kam I is a two minute walk down the hill.
As for the condo itself, it more impressive and larger than the photos made it look. There is lots of room on the lanai and a great view of the water. The kitchen is well equipped with dishes and cooking tools. The bed is comfortable and there is lots of room in the bedroom to open your suitcase up and still leave room to walk around.
We would 100% stay here again and recommend you do as well.
As others have mentioned this condo building is not good for anyone with mobility issues as there are a lot of stairs.

Clean and modern condo with a fantastic location in central Kihei. 2 blocks to the beach and near some good restaurants and a must visit bakery.
The hosts were very accommodating and were great communicators.

Overall, loved our stay at this condo! It was spacious and in a great location. It was a very short walk to the beach. The kitchen has everything needed.
If you have difficulty with stairs, then this place may not be the best for you and sometimes the bedroom got pretty warm. Otherwise, I would definitely recommend this condo!

However, the ran in the bedroom was so loud that even at low it was keeping us awake - and it’s too hot to sleep without it. The host said he’d fix… so I hope he does cause that was unpleasant.

This condo was very clean upon arrival. It has anything you need for your stay including very useful beach chairs, towels, umbrella, and a cooler. The unit is renovated and feels up-scale. Additionally, the owners were very helpful with the check-in process by sending over clear documentation, and can be reached very easily during the stay. The condo even has p-touch notes in key locations to help you navigate it. This condo has anything you need for your stay!
This condo is very well located: The kamaole beach parks are a 2 minutes walk away, with amazing sunsets, and snorkeling. Lots of stores and restaurants are located close by. The parking lot is safe. Finally, Kihei was a great hub for our stay as it allows quick access to any place on Maui.
Thank you Paul and Mandy for the great stay! We would come back anytime.

We really enjoyed our stay at this condo. It was perfect for a couples retreat. I have not one thing bad to say. The pictures and description were right on point to what you get. The complex is really nice and quiet. The pool area was nice and clean. The condo is within walking distance to the beach and some really good food spots. The host were really nice and quick to respond to messages. I would love to stay here again.

The apartment is very clean, and well stocked with toiletries and kitchen items. The building was very quiet and serene, and we spent many hours on the lanai watching the ocean view! The location is great as well, just a short walk to the beach and to many restaurants and shops. Keep an eye out for the lovebird family living in the trees along the driveway.

My partner and I recently had the pleasure of staying at the Maui Kihei Condo, and it was an incredible experience from start to finish. The property was just as described. The unit had everything you would need. The location was awesome. Just a few minutes walk to the beach at the end of the street. There is a huge pool and jacuzzi as well. Lots of shops within walking distance. Gift shops, souvenirs, hair salon, nail salon, gas station and restaurants. I definitely would come back to this unit again. And the lanai was very large and it had a view of the water. I loved it.

My boyfriend and I stayed here at the end of October and had a great experience. The check-in process was smooth with the property manager providing the information ahead of time to allow for questions or concerns to be communicated. Property manager was also quick to respond to emails during our stay. The condo itself was spacious and very clean. The living room and the kitchen are huge and the bedroom has plenty of room for us to spread out all of our luggage. The in-unit washer and dryer was very helpful during our stay. There was also a small provided cooler that we used quite a bit as we were out all day. I do agree that the bedroom was a little warm since the air conditioning unit was in the living room but it didn't really bother us during our stay. Overall great experience and would stay here again for future visits.

We had such a great time here. The location and view is absolutely perfect! We were in walking distance to so many great places to eat, shop, and right by one of the best beaches here on west Maui.
The communication with Paul and Mandy was quick every time, and we appreciated that! We were able to check in later no problem which was great since the airport changed our flight.

We absolutely loved our stay in this condo! The location is awesome with easy walking distance to great beaches and amazing restaurants. We basically walked everywhere which was amazing! Also, super close to pool and BBQ, yet far enough away to not really hear it or see it. Pool area was kept super clean! The condo has carpet which we enjoyed as we like to lay on the floor when relaxing and it seemed very clean to do so. Shower could have been cleaned a little better and same with some of the kitchen items, but this is common and the rest of the place was very clean. It would be nice if there was an extra blanket in the unit, as there is only one on the bed and that’s it. When we go back to Maui we will definitely try to stay here again!

The condo was spacious, very clean, and in a great location. The complex as a whole was very well maintained, although I found the rules a bit rigid, particularly for the pool. As the walk from the parking lot was long, including several short flights of stairs, I do not recommend this condo for anyone with mobility issues. But, for us, it provided a bit of exercise!
I've stayed at many, many VRBOs over the years, and own and maintain a VRBO property as well. Based on past experience, I cannot give this property a 5-star rating for the following reasons:
* The condo is listed as having an "ocean view". This is inaccurate. It is a "partial ocean view" (although the photo from the lanai is accurate)
* The microwave did not work, as the heating element is broken
* The TV includes instructions and a remote for Spectrum cable. But, none exists
* The window air-conditioner, located in a lower corner, is not powerful enough to cool the back bedroom.
* The condo seems a bit dated. Also, it lacks little "touches" that I've seen in other VRBOs that made me feel very welcome as a guest.
* We received no communication from the property owner regarding what to do prior to checking out. But, we did what we usually do - washed dishes and utensils, through out trash and food.
Overall, our experience at this condo was a good one. The kitchen in particularly is very well supplied with cookware and utensils. Also, the countertop provides plenty of room.

Great condo in the best part of S Kihei Rd. View of the water, walking distance to the beach and parks to view the sunset, several great places to eat nearby. This is the perfect home base for exploring Maui and enjoying a more residential type stay. The unit has everything you would need to feel at home, just add some groceries. The condo complex is extremely clean and well maintained. I highly recommend, and will be back here the next time we are in Maui!

While the complex is old, the unit was very clean and had everything we needed for our stay. The complex is built on a hillside, so there are a lot of steps from the parking lot down to the unit. We eliminated returning back up the steps upon departure by going down one more set of stairs to the pool level, where we loaded our car upon checkout.

We had a wonderful stay at this condo. The unit is exceptionally clean and everything you need is available. The bed was great, the kitchen was well supplied, and the sitting areas were comfortable. The location provides easy access to a local waterfront park, small shops, and many nearby attractions. Paul Ma is a kind and gracious host, responding immediately to walk me through the TV setup that was unfamiliar to me. I would only note, as others have also noted, access from the parking area is a little quirky. There are three short sets of stairs and zigzag landings to negotiate. We didn’t have a problem, but I can visualize that someone with mobility issues or a lot of luggage might. If those aren’t your issues, don’t hesitate on this unit as it’s great. The only negative thing about the condo is that it was outdated, Bathroom fan was not working, roaches came in, sofas and bed were really hard.

Excellently furnished with taste and quality TV. Has a large air-conditioned living room and extra large lanai off driveway with plenty of furniture for your relaxing pleasure. Lanai has small view of ocean and beautiful sky at sunset. Very spacious kitchen and full sized washer/dryer. Cleanest condo I have ever stayed in and well maintained too. Beautiful bathroom w tub. Bedroom has fan(s) only. Very nice pool / spa and with multiple gas grills in barbecue area. Felt very safe here.
** NOT FOR THE HANDICAPPED!!! Even though there is an elevator you must traverse 22 STAIRS. Parking is far away which requires walking up and down the hill and the 22 stairs or walking around inside the complex in an MC Esher like-maze.
Easy To register car 24x7 and has nice loaning library.
Good beach at bottom of driveway and across street. In town and close to everything you may need. Mahalo for sharing your hale.

Everything about this property was 100% accurate to the listing. Check-in was a breeze, the condo was clean and had everything we needed to enjoy our stay. Great restaurants nearby (highly recommend The Moose if you are a sports bar fan and want to hang with the locals). The beach is right across the street which made catching the sunsets a piece of cake. The pool and hot tub at the property is very clean and nice to hangout at when you need a break from the beach.
