We stayed at Trev's Hideout for 2 weeks. We quite enjoyed our stay; the condo was well equipped, clean and a block off the beach. The owners attended to a small issue quickly and the complex manager was a great guy. we would certainly stay here again.

We had a great stay here - it's an easy walk to Kamaole I (even for a 2 year old) and walking to several good spots for food. Condo was very clean (never saw any bugs, which in Hawaii is amazing) and functional. Pool was nice, wifi was fast, A/C in living room was nice for sleeping. Hosts were very responsive and helpful. Would be nice to have an outside lock on the lanai door so could come and go from there. Downgrading one star because the bed in the bedroom is a queen, not a king, which was not as listed, and this was actually the main reason I booked this condo (we needed a king). Also note the living room fan might hit your head if you're over 6 feet.

Look no further! This stay is perfect. Trevor & Kathryn were very responsive and accommodating with our check-in/out and visit. The location is superb, with a 2 minute walk to beach and many surrounding shops. The place was super clean, with all the amenities! The shower was hot, A/C worked well and even a fan for the main bedroom. It’s very spacious with a comfortable king size pull out couch. The stay is on the ground floor, with easy access to the main road to load groceries/beach accessories into the car. My mom enjoyed her morning coffee on the lanai & walks down the beach. Would definitely return again to this stay.

This property has it all. Lots of items (beach necessities) for the outdoors. Name it they have it. Great location to our favorite part in Maui (Kihei). Close to shops, stores, restaurants, and walking distance to the beach. Owners were also very accommodating and easy to reach. We will definitely stay back here and recommend this property. Mahalo!

We just returned from our vacation in Maui. So sad to have to leave. Trev's hideout at Surfside was the ideal vacation rental for us. It had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The kitchen was well equipped, the bed was comfy, lots of beach gear and a perfect location for walking to beaches and restaurants. We will definitely be back.

We loved everything about our stay. This condo is clean and well stocked. Our 10 and 12 year old children slept comfortably on the pull out sofa. We enjoyed pickle ball and shuffle board on the top deck. The courts have a view of Haleakalā on one side and the ocean on the other. It’s truly a gem! Located in the heart of Kihei, you could easily enjoy your stay without a car as there are so many great restaurants, stores and beaches within walking distance. The condo has beach chairs, boogie boards and a cooler available for you. The owners are attentive and friendly. We were blessed to be able to stay here.

Beautiful place. Great location, you can walk to all the shops and restaurants in a few minutes. It was quite rainy while we were in Maui and were still able to sit on the large covered patio without getting wet. I would stay here again in a heartbeat.

Kathryn and Trevor were perfect hosts that went above and beyond to ensure we had a great time in Maui.
Their place is perfectly located for easy access to the beach while still being quiet enough to enjoy a good meal outside on the terrace.
Also really enjoyed the BBQ and the pool to unwind after a day of exploring Maui.

Lovely decor warm tones & very inviting. Plenty of beach toys & towels, lots of bath, face & hand towels. Everything you desire for kitchen! Basics spices & condiments w odds and ends we used some and left some behind! Utilized the games w family. Washer/dryer detergent and toliet paper to start. Lots of shampoo variety & body wash even thu we brought our own. Quaint place would love to return. Unfortunately, we couldn't find the phone lol but we really didnt require it much. If I had to complain, upon arrival found pieces of food were left on kitchen floor cereal etc... and counter top had few crumbs and needed to wash load of dirty towels already set in the washer. No bug issues otherwise was absolutely Terrific!! Owners were also very accommodating w early check- in & checkout. Mahalo for sharing your home :)

This was such a great property for a several reasons.
Firstly, it's located about a 5 minute walk from the Kamaole Beach park 1 and tons of other amenities so if you didn't have a car it wouldn't really matter.
Secondly there were tons of water toys and supplies with the unit so we couldn't want for more.
Thirdly the condo itself was in excellent shape and came well equipped with supplies that are, otherwise, really annoying to get such as salt and pepper, steak spice, coffee for that first morning, and so on. The only downside if you can call it that was that there was no pull out couch. That would be handy for a family of three or four with smaller children however the existing couch does have a lounger and our 7 year old slept there just fine. It was very clean and inviting.
Fourthly the Kihei Alii Kai complex offers tons of parking and a great pool and hot tub where you can meet lots of people or keep to yourself. We found that there was a nice mix of locals and tourists to keep it interesting.
Fifth, the owners / managers were very prompt to respond to any questions we had and helped immensely.
We were extremely happy with the complex and Trev's Surfside hideaway for our very enjoyable 2 week stay and will certainly book it again!!
