This property was just as listed. Plenty of space- amazing lanai! Owner answered all our questions in a very timely manner and was very accommodating for what ifs at the location. Would definitely stay here again!

We had a wonderful stay at Sea Village! We were able to see coral fish at the shore off the balcony, dolphins playing further out, gorgeous sunsets and peaceful waters for as far as the eye can see. Thank you for sharing your home!

This condo is right on the shore with no other building blocking the view. Spectacular. The condo is well furnished and has a great floor plan. It could have been cleaner. It would be awesome for people who stay out late and sleep late in the morning because the heat and humidity make the afternoon and evening pretty uncomfortable for those of us who have normal bedtimes.

It is a short drive to many beaches and town shops. It’s a long walk to these places. Right on the ocean. The sound of waves was great and the sunsets were perfect on the lanai.

What a treat to be perched out over the ocean as this spot was. We slept beautifully and the whole experience was just as comfortable as can be. So close to all of the fun of the village nearby and so wonderful to hear the ocean right under your feet. Lovely!

We loved having breakfast on the lanai and how relaxing this place is. Quick drive into town for meals or shopping. The cable TV was not working while we were there and we had Tyler (property manager) and spectrum come in twice to work on it. With their efforts, we were able to get internet and could watch Netflix. We also were on the island while Kileaua was erupting, this was awesome to see (especially at night). Thank you for a great place to stay - God bless.

We had a reunite visit with our daughter and S-I-L from AU. Last time we saw them was 3 yrs. ago. Covid. HI is exactly halfway. We explored so much of the Big Island and have so much more to see. Thank you to Tyler of Sea Village for being an exceptional host. We saw a cruise ship, dolphins, the Queen Lili'uokalani Canoe Race, parasailers, snorkelers and so much more, just sitting on our deck. We enjoyed a lovely pool and cooked some great Hawaiian steaks on the nearby grills that were available with nearby dining tables. The experience was so easy and casual, made it easy to eat in. We had everything we needed, just supply the food.
We had boogie boards to float on, we had snorkels and towels an Esky cooler and a thermal bag, beach chairs, an umbrella and believe it or not 2 sets of golf clubs that we used at Mauna Kea, our S-I-L's dream course.
From our location we got to snorkel in Hilo and stargaze at
Mauna Kea in one day.
We will be back.

You cannot beat the ocean side balcony of this spot! We absolutely loved eating breakfast and dinner on the balcony watching the sunset and listening to the relaxing sounds of the waves. The inside of the unit was clean and well laid out. It was very comfortable for our family of 5. Having laundry facilities in the unit was a nice treat, as was having a few bodyboards, snorkles for the kids to try. The pool was clean and quiet and the property was beautifully maintained with lovely gardens. The location was nice, quiet, but close to surrounding towns/restaurants. We highly recommend this property to others.

Midweek 4 night stay in Kona. Property location is excellent for putting yourself in position to access south & north Kona side of island.
A quick 2 minute drive to Kailua-Kona puts you in the heart of all things Kailua.
Property is clean and amenities are satisfactory ….. it’s all about the “View”. Amazing lanai view of the ocean ….. sat for hours mesmerized by the ocean. 4 nights of spectacular sunsets.
I would stay again. Great value for the$.

This condo was perfect for our family of four. It was very well stocked and clean upon arrival. The condo has plenty of beach equipment, towels (5), chairs, coolers, snorkel masks (4), 2 sets of flippers, and boogie boards.
The bathrooms have starter body wash, shampoo tubes, and lotion, along with full size hand soap dispensers. There is a hair dryer, straightener, and curling iron.
The kitchen has some dry spices along with basic cooking tools, dish soap, dishwasher detergent, and laundry detergent.
It was also nice, as there was a bag of coffee and water bottles as a welcome gift.
The view is spectacular! Two of the mornings, there was a rainbow over the ocean.
We loved being slightly south of the central business area, where it’s more quiet. The property/grounds are well maintained too.
If you are concerned about not having air conditioning, having the windows and glass sliding door open creates a nice cross breeze. There are also ceiling fans and portable fans available to use.
Overall, we would definitely book this unit again if we came back to Kona.

We had a great time staying at this well equiped property. We really liked the very well stocked kitchen, the bodyboards/beach chairs, etc and the washing machine was really useful as we swam and snorkeled every day.

Our stay was wonderful. Ideal view from the lanai and fully equipped for all our needs. The only negative was that the check-in time is one hour later than other condo's at Sea Village and the check-out time is one hour earlier. Due to changes in flight times and car reservations, this one-hour created a real issue for us. Otherwise, we were extremely satisfied.

Everything was as described, lots of cooking utensils, good quality linens & towels and great to have beach gear available & extra things in the kitchen like a cheese grater and citrus juicer were appreciated. The Hawaiian coffee as a welcome gift was a huge bonus !
Only cons were that this condo really needs a deep clean to get 5 stars for me. Communicated this to owner upon check in, as I had to reclean toilets and kitchen was clearly only quickly surface cleaned, coffee pot was really caked with last guests remaining brew, door knobs on cabinets sticky etc and obvious finger prints and smudges on fridge and light switches. In corners, under furniture and behind doors, windows etc was also pretty filthy.
Pros- location & views!!! Amazing sunsets! Comfortable beds. Felt very safe. Pool was very clean and never crowded, lots of beach chairs.
Like other reviews it was hard to completely cool the condo down without having AC available, so more fans would really help! For light sleepers the master windows face the parking lot where the garbage and recycling units are located so it’s pretty noisy but we travel with a sound fan so it didn’t bother us too much.
Would definitely stay again but next time would request a reclean upon check in if I found it this way again. There’s no good excuse with the hefty cleaning fees charged. A little attention to detail on the cleaning would do this beautiful unit more Justice !

The property is beautifully set ocean front. The waves crash just below the deck. The kitchen is well-equipped. We could not get the TV to work and the property manager responded immediately. Our only negative about this place is that the contractors kept their equipment just outside the bedroom windows and began working very early and were very loud. Also the bedroom windows were difficult yo open and close.

Lovely unit! Spacious, well-equipped and simply the finest view you can wish for. There is no A/C, so can be very warm and was during our visit. Alii Drive is very busy, so be prepared to move along slowly when leaving for the day! We thought there is plenty of room for a larger bed in the master bedroom. Otherwise, go enjoy a wonderful and comfortable vacation!

If you’re looking for a condo to sit on the lanai and watch the sunset but no further. The sunsets were spectacular. On top of that the sound of the waves crashing against the seawall were meditative. Super close to town. Definitely a good find.

Our stay was nice. It was a little warmer than we expected but overall we had a great trip. The balcony was amazing to view the ocean waves and sea activity. We were even fortunate to see a pod of dolphins on the morning of our last day!

Positives: apartment is large with awesome views, quality appliances and apartment stocked with everything you could possibly need. Plenty of parking.
Negatives - no aircon! Listing was accuarate there was no misleading however be aware that the main bedroom gets very little airflow - especially in the evening/early part of the night. The main bedroom is facing the car park. If you open the louvres to let air in you get all of the light from the outside hallway and car park and you can hear everything that is happening outside of the apartment. Everyone outside can also hear everything that is happening in your bedroom.

My only request would be to have a couple more fans for those extra warm days when the breeze from the lanai doesn’t quite stir all the way through (which it does beautifully sometimes)

This unit is the closest one of all the condo's to the water. Unit was well stocked and clean. We had a small child above us on the top unit though that woke us up daily at 4:30 am! Overall experience was good though!

This was the second time staying at this property. It is so well situated in Kailua. My wife and I enjoyed the morning walks to the pier and farmers market. The condo is well equipped and had everything we needed. With our kids older we took advantage of the BBQ area for dinners and met so many nice people while cooking at watching the sunset. The daily visit of spinner dolphins was also a treat. We will be back again!

Only reasons for 4-star overall rating was uncomfortable living room furniture, dishes need replenished (assuming from breakage over time), could use coasters and a HOOD pair of binoculars. That said, these are NOT deal breakers and we would stay here again. In a heartbeat. Tyler was great at communicating and answering questions, dolphins, whales, incredible sunsets and close enough to town to walk.

This is a second story condo within feet of the rocky shoreline. There’s a double break wall in front of the condo. We were entertained and occasionally showered by the huge waves hitting the break wall and occasionally shooting up to the top of our lanai. The noise of the surf was quite loud, but we really couldn’t shut the lanai door because without air conditioning the condo got hot and stuffy. Wouldn’t recommend for light sleepers this time of year.
Condo itself was certainly adequate, although master bed is small. Kitchen well equipped, but clearly primarily a rental (no spices, condiments, extras that owner/users often have available). TV & Wi-Fi we’re reliable. Short drive to beaches, snorkeling, restaurants, grocery.

We love the Big Island and Kona area. First time staying at Sea Village. Nice property and good location. Condo had wonderful view. Unit could have been MUCH cleaner, but I cleaned and adjusted. There is a walkway outside bedroom windows that was noisey all hours of the day, so that was a bit annoying.

The condo was great for our stay on the Big Island. The views from the lanai were amazing and we could even see fish swimming in the water below. We were able to watch the 4th of July fireworks from the lanai as well! It was a great location in Kailua-Kona - close to snorkeling and many great restaurants. There is a coffee shop on the corner that must be amazing based on the line every morning! Never tried it as the host provided some great coffee for us! Condo had all we needed including snorkel and beach gear! Great stay!

I grew up vacationing in Kona, and this was a perfect location. The tile floors and everything was perfect for our active family. It’s well appointed and has nice amenities, it’s not super fancy but that’s what makes it great!

Very clean, simple condo in a convenient location that accommodates 4 adults quite comfortably. Reasonably stocked with ocean gear (towels, boogie boards, some snorkel/masks, hard and soft coolers). A little light on condiments (historically we found VRBOs to have more condiments left by previous occupants _but COVID may have affected the stash), so plan accordingly when you grocery shop. Otherwise - all the amenities you need to enjoy your stay. Plan some 'downtime' enjoying appetizers, wine and dinner on the balcony as the sun sets.

Fantastic view, great place to watch the sea. Salt spray on your face when you sat on the lanai. That is a compliment. Was very clean, furnishing sparse but adequate. Relatively small. Best suited to a single couple or a couple with small children. Virtually no grounds, it is situated in an area of dense condo development. The bedroom is right above the neighboring properties outside entertainment area. Going to bed before 10 wasn't really an option.They did have 4 newer Weber gas BBq's on a common lawn with picnic tables. These got a lot of use. It appears most units are owned and run by VI. And if you are not a VI guest, there is no service desk or concierge or any type bar or restaurant. Minimum of a mile walk over a very busy street to get to anyplace to eat. Minimum of 3 miles to get to any kind of swimming beach. Pool was ok, Hot tub didn't work when we got there. Since there was no one to report the problem to, we just used the pool.
The owner was great to deal with. Seems like a real stand up guy who provided good service via the internet as we were getting ready to go. Gave us straight answers, very promptly.
Hawaii is wonderful. The Big island , especially so. Everybody should go sometime and if you love the sea, this would be a good place to wake up in the morning.

We enjoyed our stay at your unit. It was clean, well equipped and laid out for overall comfort. I would recommend a solar lantern/light for the lanai and a bucket to use for floor mopping.
Try the whale of a crepe blue food truck at the market near the condo for great tasting crepes and the acai bowl for a fresh fruit breakfast. Sam Choy's for dinner is a must! See how many different beaches you can find...we sure found many more than we did on our first visit! Green flash on the property was a bit of a disappointment so we went out and bought a coffee grinder and bought beans from the various farms to try out.
We hope to return for another visit and this unit would definitely have our consideration. The owner was a pleasure to deal with. I gave this a 4.5 star only because the pool often was short of loungers and only chairs were available and early dinner barbecuing was a wait so we planned meals later.

My wife and I couldn't have been happier with the condo. We have never been here before and it was as advertised so glad we booked it for 2017 . Tyler was great to work with, no problems at all while we were there. The complex has a pool and a hot tub (which my wife liked). 15 minute walk to downtown and a frosty.
This place is well worth the 17 hour it took to get there from Upstate NY. Standing on the lanai seeing and hearing the waves brake after leaving sub zero temperatures cannot be explained.

We loved this condo - it was a great value for the money. Parking was excellent. View couldn't be beat. Beach gear included is pretty tired and some needs to be replaced as not useable. (Flippers, boogie boards are all busted). The pool area is close and lovely next to the ocean. We had a big storm while in Kona and marveled at the ocean from our living room. Would definitely stay here again.

Our second trip to Kona, and the location did not disappoint. The condo unit is right on the water - a favorite morning spot for waking up and drinking coffee. The unit is well stocked with boogie boards, snorkel gear, golf clubs, tennis rackets, and lots of beach towels. Very close to town - a pleasant long walk! We would most definitely consider staying here again, and recommending this to our friends for their next trip to Kona.

Our family of five enjoyed staying at this condo for our first trip to the Big Island. It was very clean and comfortable and fully equipped with everything we needed for a fun vacation with 3 kids. There was a noodle for the pool, plenty of beach towels, beach umbrella (a big plus for me), four boogie boards and maybe 3 snorkel sets (we brought our own). My son loved Magic Sands beach for boogie boarding and for calmer waters, Hapuna beach. Two Steps was great for snorkeling even for beginners like us. I was feeling disappointed that on the last morning of our trip we still had not seen any Dolphins that other guests had mentioned when lo and behold we saw a dozen from the lanai spinning in the water. Our mistake it seems is that we had always left the condo too early. They arrived around 9am followed by three or four snorkel boats which dropped off snorkelers to swim with them. There are also binoculars provided by the owner to get a closer view. The apartment did get a little hot during the evenings, but there are ceiling fans and a movable fan that came in very handy. The bedrooms at the back were nice and cool at night time and we never heard any noise from neighbors. The only noise was the pounding of the waves as you are that close to the ocean and even now I miss it! Tyler was very easy to work with and always prompt with his responses to my emails. We would definitely return in the future!
