The condo's new renovations/upgrades are beautiful. Both bathrooms were beautifully done and had great water pressure and temperature and lighting. The gift bag from Vacasa was very useful and appreciated (reusable shopping/beach bag with lots of great snacks).
The location was great for us. Close to both Napili (which we know well) and the Kaanapali resort area restaurants. But the food trucks out front were the best food options. I'm not a food truck guy, but they were the best food we had during our stay. And there are about 9 of them so plenty of types of food. I highly recommend.
The lanai had ocean views and we did see whales in the distance. No sunsets at this time of year as you can't see south. It was also a bit windy up there almost every day. Not sure if it's always like that but we were there 8 nights and we couldn't stay out there too long. Assuming we had bad luck if I were to make a suggestion I would get a smaller table to be able to fit and maybe have lounge chairs.
The only disappointment is the living room is still a bit outdated. The couch is very old and the TV is the size of my PC monitor and unviewable from the couch. You don't go to Maui to watch TV. However, after an active day it's nice to unwind and cuddle up. Also, there's the rainy days. We used the master bedroom TV. Also note, there's no streaming option (just basic cable).
Also there's a floor above and you hear the screech of chairs and footsteps unless you're lucky (typical of condos).

This condo was exactly as listed. Almost at the front of the building with great views. Ocean views from both bedrooms and the living room. The host responded immediately and was very friendly and helpful and there were no problems. The kitchen and master bedroom and bath were upgraded and very high end. We would like to stay here again

Loved the view!! Be aware that there is a large wall to your left (if looking out the patio) so your view is blocked left. The view right is incredible, and the “prettier” part of the cost anyway, it felt like we had our house as we really couldn’t see another balcony around us.
This is a great place, I would offer it needs some very minor updates. Just from west & tear on the property. 2nd bedroom needs blackout curtain replaced, and the beds took a little getting used to as a full sized adult. Fresh cost of paint wouldn’t hurt in the off season.
None of this was a detractor from our nearly perfect stay. Would come back!!

Everything about our stay was amazing!! From hearing the waves crashing all day and night. To the beautiful views from the balcony. The resort itself was beautiful. The beach club had great food. The stores inside the resort had all kinds of items. Our kids loved being able to go to the pool each night after a day of adventures. We can not recommend this place enough!! Can't wait to come back!!

I absolutely loved the location of this unit on the eighth floor overlooking the beach within a stones throw from waves crashing from my bedroom I could watch the stars at night and hear the ocean waves crashing. It was some of the best sleep I’ve ever had. Did have a few issues with the televisions as they are very complicated to use for my elderly parents and the property management company was not responsive until I reached out to the owner who got it taken care of immediately. Wi-Fi was a bit sketchy so I mostly used my iPhone as a hotspot other than that it was a perfect five days in paradise and I highly recommend this unit. Mahalo !

Only complaint is No instructions for TV systems. We didn't miss it, because there was so much to do outside. It would have been nice to have for winding down at night. Thanks!

The condo is perfect! It’s located in such an amazing area with great activities, restaurants and so much more close by. Every room has a view of the ocean and the place was very clean and comfortable, The beach restaurant was great for breakfast and drinks at night. (I’m sorry lunch and dinner were great but we didn’t try it)
There were shows each night and the pool was beautiful. The beach, rentals and cabanas were very convenient and the shops were great with great prices! One with beautiful beach accessories and the other with grocery needs including beer and wine.
It was very quiet on our hall & we had a fabulous time ! Thank you !

Very good although slightly dated property. Pictures and video embellish nice property but not as nice or big as shown. One disappointment was that the oceanfront pool was under construction and this wasn’t revealed in the listing. The smaller remaining pool was quite crowded so not an option. Future renters should inquire about that.

This condo was perfect for our family of 6. The location is amazing. The views are unbelievable. It is well stocked, specifically with toilet paper, paper towels, dish washing liquid, and garbage bags. They have beach umbrellas, chairs, snorkel gear, and towels. You also get towel cards from the resort for fresh towels everyday. We didn’t have to buy any of that for a week! I would stay here 100 times over! We had a fantastic vacation.

We had a wonderful stay! The hosts are incredibly nice and accommodating, and always responsive. The condo is fully appointed with everything you'll need, from beach chairs to a blender. We really enjoyed both the beautiful beach and the pools, as well as the convenience to all the best of west Maui. You can't go wrong staying here.

The condo was accurately represented by the photos. Beds were comfortable with the exception of the sofa bed. It’s ok for kids but I could not have slept on it. Kitchen was adequately stocked and beach supplies were adequate. Overall the place was nice, clean, and had beautiful views. I would stay here again

Our family of four had an amazing time! This property was great! The location was nice! The view was stunning and the little added extras were so convenient! First the property was clean and well stocked the kitchen had plenty of dishes, utensils and small appliances! The view from the balconies were to die for! I enjoyed waking up to the sound of the ocean! The boogie boards beach chairs and snorkel equipment were a great bonus! I would recommend this property to friends and family! The quick communication was so appreciated!

This condo does indeed have an OCEANFRONT view from every window, living room, both bedrooms. It’s updated very nicely. It’s large. The resort it’s self is nice. We could only book this VRBO for five nights as someone else beat us to the weekend. I was very surprised to go resort to resort looking for the best deal for the remaining portion of our vacation. Every resort, Sheridan, Marriott, Hyatt and even the little resorts (like this one I’m reviewing) all started at $1,000 for a “garden view) and $1,500 to $2,000 for Oceanfront (pre-tax). This VRBO was OCEANFRONT for an average of $700. Keep in mind, it depends on the time of year your coming to Maui. My point being we paid an average of $700 per night (and the owner nets much less). So there is TREMENDOUS VALUE in this condo. We would definitely come back. Great restaurant onsite, two pools and spa, etc. My only complaint would be the unit only has BASIC CABLE with no smart TV. No way to watch Netflix or Amazon Prime. We’re not big TV watchers but late at night I like to watch a movie or at least something to unwind. We were literally stuck with Fox News, CNN and CSPAN or one of the three networks. Easily bypassed with strong WiFi if you have an iPad which we didn’t. This is more constructive criticism more than anything. It’s a very nice condo and very quiet! We heard zero noise from the neighbors. Highly recommended! Dave D, Scottsdale, AZ

The condo was rented by two couples who travel extensively. The condo was everything it was advertised to be. The condo was clean, well kept, and nicely furnished. The view from the deck is the absolute best feature of the rental. We would spend every morning watching whales from the deck (bring binoculars, but you can see the whales without). We visited in early February. All the appliances in the rental were in perfect condition. The rental property is located close to the ocean, pool/hot tub, and a great restaurant on property. Across the street, there is a grocery, restaurants, and a jazz bar. Parking on the property is convenient.
One bedroom was much nicer than the other - the master was spacious and had a walk-in shower. The unit came stocked with snorkels, fins, beach umbrellas, and beach chairs. Beach towels were provided as was laundry soap, dishwashing soap, and basic toiletries.
A word of warning on the bathtub/shower combo for the bathroom outside the second bedroom - It had a very high bathtub to negotiate (hard for older folks to step into and out of). Certainly not a problem for folks who would like to take a bath or who are younger and more agile than us. And of course the other shower was not only beautiful, but easy to use.
The rental was certainly the nicest we had ever rented and as shown on the web site. Our host was very helpful with any questions and the staff at the resort were friendly. The location is perfect! Also a word of advice - when going to the beach to snorkel, head to your left - just a little ways "up" the beach is easier snorkeling since the beach right behind the condo has a lot of lava rock close to shore.

I am one to do research. After months of looking, this condo seemed to fit our needs. It was fabulous! The beds were comfortable and each room had views of the ocean. Falling to sleep with the ocean waves was our favorite thing! The second bedroom window does not open, so a little disappointed in that aspect, but the view made up for this!
The furnishings were up to date and the kitchen was beautiful.
The location was great! Easy to get many places! Lahaina was a short drive, and the north shore was easy from here.
The grounds were beautiful and well manicured. We walked through many different hotels, and this complex was easily one of our favorites, without paying for a very exclusive high end resort price. You cannot see a sunset from the balcony, but we were able to just head down to the beach. I would also recommend coming during whale season. We sat for hours watching them play in the warm ocean waters right from the balcony!
Communication was easy and fast.
Great for families or those just wanting some peace and quiet!
We have visited Hawaii many times, and I would definitely recommend this condo hands down. The 8th floor gave us spectacular views!

The condo is beautiful. The beds were comfy with nice linens. The bathroom large and spacious. The lanai in the bedroom was great for morning coffee. The guest bedroom and bath were smaller but still had enough room for 2 people. We didn't cook much but the kitchen looked like it had everything we would need. There is a restaurant and bar near the ocean pool with great food and generously poured drinks. Both pools were open as was the gym and the shops. You can walk to the grocery store, the strip mall for Dole Whips, and the food trucks next door. You did have to walk quite a way to the room but that's because YOU ARE RIGHT ON THE WATER! Just 8 floors up. You can look down on the beach and see into the water. Perfect for looking for turtles and fish. We had a great trip and would definately stay here again.

We absolutely LOVED the condo, the location, and the owners! It was nestled perfectly along the beach and amongst shopping/dining/etc. It is located in a resort that has 2 pools, beach access, outdoor showers, cabanas, hotel amenities.
The owners were extremely kind and helpful with our questions. This was by far one of the best VRBO's on the market! Worth every penny. If we get back to Maui THIS is where we will stay hands down!

We had an issue with toilet in master bath and called it in and it was taken care of right away. The resort had a lot to offer. A great condo in a great location. We had a great stay at this condo. Owner was easy to work with and property managers were helpful when we went to borrow beach chairs. Unit was very clean and the photos on the website are accurate. The condo is situated so that the view is private and very nice. You are not overlooking a noisy pool or into the windows of other units. The property is nice with two pools and a restaurant on site. Other restaurants are across the street, as well as a full grocery store. Our friend took advantage of the discovery dive lesson offered by the resort and ended up going diving in the ocean, which she loved. There is a beachwalk that will take you to Whaler's Village. It is a scenic walk, but about 2 miles.
Condo had all the supplies we needed for the week. My daughter uses a wheelchair, and the only thing that was a bit difficult was getting her into the bathroom. Regardless, we made it work and had a wonderful time. We would definitely book this condo again.

Great resort!! Grounds very well maintained, very beautiful. Right on the ocean which made for seeing some very nice sunsets. All of the amenities you need/want, reastaurant, shops, pools and beach very close. The condo we rented was very nice with a view of the ocean from the living room and master bedroom.
As soon as we landed, I received a text with the access code to the condo. Very easy and smooth check in. Great vacation.

We spent a week at this condo in late February. Right from the beginning we were impressed. The condo has great views of the ocean from the living area, the lanai and both bedrooms. The condo is spacious and well appointed. Condo has all the conveniences and we were impressed with the little things like the box of chocolates and the pound of coffee with creamers and sugar left on the counter. The condo was furnished with boxes of laundry detergent, extra Kleenex, ample rolls of toilet paper, plenty of garbage bags, shampoos, conditioners and hand lotions. All of those small touches added up to a lot of satisfaction. We saw plenty of whales from the lanai. The resort itself has two great pools with plenty of chairs and lounges and a bar and grill restaurant. The staff that run the resort are super friendly and very helpful. This is a resort and condo that I would recommend to anyone who would like a place to stay on Maui. The condo owner Kiani was great to deal with and promptly answered all emails. Thanks Kiani you have a great condo in a great resort.

My family and I stayed at this condo for 2 weeks in 2018 and absolutely loved it! We had stayed at the same resort about 6 years ago, and this newly renovated unit was much nicer. It was good to know exactly what unit you were getting too. This one has a great view of the ocean, and the mountains. We spent a lot of time on the lanai watching whales right outside our door!! The new garden pool at the resort is very nice as well. We spent a lot of time there when we weren’t out looking for new beaches to try. The lack of a beach would be the only downside to this resort. From everyone we talked to apparently Maui might be having a little bit of a erosion problem. A lot of resorts have lost their beaches. We went to a few other places we have stayed in the past and their beaches were gone as well. It’s a good thing Maui still has plenty of great beaches to go around, and their are several great ones close to this condo!
I can’t say enough good things about Kiani, and the rental management company she uses. There was great communication every step of the way. We typically book our trips though one of the travel sites, so this was actually our first VRBO experience. Kiani made the whole experience wonderful, and was very accommodating. We couldn’t have done this trip any other way. If we get another chance to come back to Hawaii I will definitely use VRBO again, and I will definitely try to book this same unit!

Was really not impressed with the quality of things in this condo. Bad master shower, toilet that keeps running, dirty windows, washer and dryer are old and it takes forever to dry anything in that dryer and washer is very small. The only thing this condo has going for it is the view. Oh and because the condos is recessed back you never see any sun in the lani. And is is not a very clean condo. Catpets in bedrooms look dingy and probably have never been cleaned. Its fun how these pictures are always when it’s new or been remodeled but not a good reflection on how it looks presently. Would not stay here again. The Aston complex is very nice though and they keep everything well maintained and beautiful. Nice job to them. And I don’t like check out at 11 am when the complex is 12 noon. That’s not nice.

We had a very nice time at this 2 & 2 condo on the beach. The condo is updated very nicely and is very clean. The views from the unit are awesome. The pool is great, the beach is small. This unit is also close to fairly priced supermarket, stores, and cafes/small eateries. Kiana (owner) was very nice and got back to me when I had a question. The only complaint is the gym. The building has a gym which charges $5 dollars a day to workout. I know it's not a lot but after spending a lot of money to stay here I was not happy when they told me I had to pay to workout. Maybe if that was explained in the unit description it would not have angered me. Again, had a great time in this unit would stay here again.

This was our first trip to Maui but it won't be our last and we will stay here again! The location of the resort was perfect for our family with quick and easy access to all of your vacation needs. The condo was clean and had everything we needed and the view was amazing!
