As a VRBO owner myself, I was really impressed by the attention to detail in this condo. Everything is labeled and they’ve thought of nearly anything you could need. It was clean and comfortable. The view was amazing. This unit is so close to the pool and Club house- like basically next door.
One of our best nights was dinner at the club house restaurant, watching the sun set. The food there is delicious!! Don’t pass up the restaurant.
Getting to a beach, You really need to drive. The unit has all the beach amenities you need. But no beach access. A’Bay is close (5 minutes) But my kids thought the sand was rough. Hapuna beach is 15 minutes and the sand is so nice But there is no natural shade (unit had an umbrella we could take) and currently the running water at that beach is out of order.
Access to the shops and restaurants in the resort area was great too.
I would recommend this unit to a friend.

Our family group of six (4 year old, 6 year old, 2 parents, and 2 grandparents) had a wonderful few days here. The pool is terrific (and close!), the supply of beach toys and accessories is extensive, and the views are beautiful. Communication with the host was excellent, and they were a huge help when we accidentally left something behind. Thank you for a great stay!

This property is absolutely amazing. Its as beautiful as it was in the pictures. I HIGHLY recommend this location. I cant say enough; they thought of everything to make you feel like home. Shampoo/conditioner and lotion in all bathrooms. Soap and laundry supplies. Everything for the beach.
The views are amazing! The golfing ⛳️ was amazing. The pool and gym, bar are literally right next door.
The Hilton is along a beautiful walking path, very close.

This Hali'iKai property was an ideal spot for our rendezvous - 3 couples coming from different areas to spend some vacation time together. The Condo was well-furnished and well-situated. Bedrooms very comfortable, each with a separate and well-equipped bath. Kitchen more than adequate, with some basic staples provided (e.g., oils, vinegars, seasonings). Deck overlooking a golf-course fairway and out to the ocean was a great gathering - and sunset-watching - spot. Clubhouse was very pleasant and welcoming. Pool not well set up for swimming, but nice for a refreshing dip. And being oceanside, view could not be beat. Food was also good and reasonably priced. Would definitely return if I returned to the Kona coast.

Great VRBO. Excellent location with a great view of the golf course and ocean in the distance. Could see the sunsets at nights. The Condo was in excellent condition, immaculately clean and beautifully appointed. Everything was available, appliances, 3 ways to make coffee, and all the utensils you would need. The restaurant next door was excellent and everyone we met was very nice. Didn't seem to have any bias to VRBO renters,

This is an excellent property if you’re looking to stay somewhere with his peace and quiet, wonderful views and lovely sunsets. The pool, bar and restaurant are an added bonus. The unit we stayed in was one of the best I have stayed in an all of Hawaii. It had everything we needed for our 12 day stay. We picked this unit because it had the gold membership at the kings golf course, which we really appreciated as it saved us a lot of money and we played the course five times. We also played Mauna Lani and Mauna Kea, but all of us enjoyed playing at the kings course the best.

It’s a stunning location and beautiful property! I’m only giving 4 stars because I feel the showers were not as clean as they should be. There was mold in the corners. And the bath mats appeared dingy. We were only there 4 days so decided not to complain and enjoy the vacation! But overall it was a wonderful place to stay!

A wonderful location. We watched whales every day from our lanai. Halii Kai is much more serene than many other Waikoloa properties.
The rental was very clean with a well-supplied kitchen. Especially with paper products, spices, etc.

All in all, a wonderful stay here! We’ve been to the BI many times and love this area. First time at Hali’i Kai. Can’t beat the view from the pool/bar area! Stunning! Watched the whales spout all day long. Be aware that they stick very closely to their rules at the pool/bar area. They will confiscate any liquids (including a water bottle) you bring in. One day I was reprimanded for coming too close to the bar without a mask, yet sat at the bar the night before chatting it up with the bartender without one. Same distance away. There was an inconsistency about getting a table for dinner one night from the waitress. She wouldn’t give us a straight answer except to say she was maybe saving it for an owner. She did seat us but was pretty vague at first. As a ‘renter’ you can feel a bit unwanted here. It is a rare thing to have a bar/restaurant at your condo complex which is great in many ways. Happy hours were 2:30-5:30 and the mai tai’s were fantastic! Food was very good also. Minor glitch with keyless door code when we arrived but it was settled quickly. Our unit (12G) was very clean, kitchen well-stocked (& had 6 beach chairs and plenty of beach towels too) and a wonderful partial view of ocean from the lanai. The pictures are exactly what you get. We loved it!

We had a perfect vacation in the perfect accommodation.
This property was beautiful, clean and fully set up for a great family vacation,. Our family of three teenage boys and two adults had plenty of space. The kitchen was well equipped and the closet of beach accessories was ideal. The beds were comfy and the bathrooms had plenty of soft towels. I highly recommend this property.

This was our 3rd visit to 12G and we were pleasantly pleased with the changes/upgrades to the unit. Gone was the somewhat beat couch and warn/dirty stairway carpet, replaced by a very comfortable sectional and hardwood flooring up the stairs and in the bedrooms.
As before, 12G has absolutely everything you need for your vacation. The kitchen is fully equipped, plenty of towels, soap/shampoo, and all kinds of stuff for the pool/ocean.
With one of the best views in the complex, 12G is a great destination for those who want to avoid the hotel option.

We were very pleased with the large the open-plan kitchen, dining area, and living room. The three bedrooms were comfortable and well decorated. The three bathrooms made getting out in the morning very easy. The pool is nice although shallow, and our friend had the best fish sandwich at the adjoining restaurant. The views from the 2 lanais are also amazing! We would definitely recommend this condo and the property to anyone staying on the Big Island.
