White Sands Village Condominiums are across from one of the finest beaches on the Kona coast: White Sands Beach. The locals call it 'Magic Sands.' Swimming, boogie boarding, and snorkeling in the clear blue water are a must. Just three and a half miles north on Alii Drive is the charming and picturesque village of Kailua-Kona. One mile south is the famous snorkeling beach, Kahaluu. Kahaluu offers easy access to the undersea population of green sea turtles and colorful tropical fish of every description. After a glorious day in the sun, it is a short stroll down to the White Sands Beach to watch a spectacular Kona sunset. If you get lucky, you may see the famous green flash.
Our 1208 square foot home is located on the second floor of the Kuakini building of White Sands Village. Of the three building in this complex, this building is set off the main road and is nestled in a garden setting. The view from the lanai is of the manicured gardens and the blue waters of the beautiful Pacific Ocean. This tastefully decorated and updated unit is fully equipped to feel like a home away from home. The condominium has been impeccably maintained and professionally cleaned in preparation for your arrival. This home gives you a master bedroom with a king bed and master bath, a guest room with a queen bed and guest bath. The spacious living room is the perfect place to unwind after a full day in the sun and plan the next day's activities. Open the sliding doors and enjoy the trade winds of the Pacific or turn on the air-conditioner for a cooler evening. The storage chest on the lanai is stocked with a variety of beach equipment for your use. This concrete constructed building is very quiet, safe and secure. This unit comes with a washer and dryer, two covered parking spaces, large private lanai, and access to all the amenities of White Sands Estates. These amenities include a heated pool, hot tub, sauna, billiards, tennis courts, BBQ area, and manicured gardens. The building does have elevator service but due to a small set of stairs up to the landing, it is not handicap accessible. The historic and beautiful town of Kailua-Kona, just 3.5 miles north on Alii Drive, offers fine dining, shopping, nightlife, excursions, local art, and a local farmer's market. The market offers an abundance locally grown fresh tropical fruits and the world famous Kona Coffee. Just 2 miles to the south you will find Keauhou shopping center. Keauhou offers a modern grocery store, cinemas, ice cream shops and various restaurants.
