The condo itself was very clean, well-stocked and has a beautiful deck/lanai with view of the ocean that was a pleasure to look at over breakfast and dinner (with sunset). The condo complex's amenities (bbq, pool) were excellent, clean, and staff was very helpful. Would definitely stay here again!

It’s always Location, Location, Location! Kai Lani is literally a stone’s throw from the freeway entrance, making travel to anywhere on the island easy. It’s a very quiet condo complex with flowering plants and greenery as well as an ocean view. It’s a short walking distance to a shopping area, restaurants, shops, 4 lagoons, and Paradise Cove for snorkeling with tropical fish and sea turtles. Costco and a major shopping center are only 3.5 miles away in Kapolei. You will even find a movie theater there. The owner’s condo is well appointed! The kitchen is stocked like a gourmet kitchen: large refrigerator, toaster oven, coffee maker, dishwasher, stove, microwave, blender, slow cooker, rice steamer and ample cookware, dishes and utensils. The dining room seats 6 comfortably and the lanai seats 4. There are 3 tvs, ceiling fans in every room plus AC. The main tv has Roku. Each bathroom has a full tub and shower. There are ample bath towels and beach towels. The main bedroom is a king and the secondary bedroom has a queen bed with ample linens for each. There is a large capacity washer/dryer ! The condo is so inviting and full of amenities that your vacation literally starts as you open the door. You will be thankful for making this condo your vacation choice!

This beautiful spacious condo was perfect for my husband and I and his sister and husband. It overlooks a cove on the ocean where we enjoyed every stunning sunset possible. The cove also seems to be a feeding ground for sea turtles and we even saw a few dolphins. It's walking distance to beaches, shops, grocery stores, restaurants a major resorts. We even found the secret beach and spotted a Monk Seal on two separate occasions. I would highly recommend this anyone looking for a vacation with a little more privacy than a resort can offer.

I wouldn’t have chosen this place if someone else had the experience I did. (1) found bed bug on pillow on bed 1.5 hours after checking in, (2) caught bed bug in ziplock for proof, (3) no items or people went on bed except for my 3 showered young children wrapped in towels from the condo (4) we left quickly and searched for hotel (5) owner next morning asked us to continue our stay and see if we find any more bugs. We said no way (6) husband met owner at property with live bed bug and searched beds for more bugs (did not find any but did not search carpets, couches, etc) (7) owner said he’d give us a full refund and we booked another property for the month (8) one week later owner changed his mind because he now thinks we brought the bed bug into the condo and he tells VRBO we were using property to eat and store food (this was incorrect because we didn’t have access. Hundreds of dollars of unused groceries were left with owner’s knowledge because we had nowhere to put them) (9) ten days after I found the bug, owner had an exterminator in to check property. Exterminator said no bed bug evidence found, owner gives us a 40% refund and invites us to finish our stay. We declined since we already settled into another home for our month long stay and we still didn’t feel comfortable staying here (10) upset because our 1.5 hours in this home was full of stress to start our family vacation and we lost money but thankful 1.5 months after finding bed bug, we haven’t seen another!

This vacation home is absolutely stunning, and our family had an incredible time there. It is located within a beautiful gated community. The kitchen was fully equipped with everything we needed, which made meal preparation a breeze.
However, one aspect that proved to be challenging was the lack of detailed instructions from Vacasa regarding which key corresponded to each gate. The garage, which is separate from the main unit and situated right behind it. Unfortunately, the garage opener provided did not work, despite my attempts to contact Vacasa for a solution. This lack of assistance was quite frustrating.
Eventually, I discovered that the garage was actually the second door from the right when facing the garage unit. After replacing the battery, I was able to operate it successfully.
Despite this minor inconvenience, our overall experience at the vacation home was fantastic. It would have been even more enjoyable if Vacasa had provided clearer instructions and prompt assistance in resolving the garage opener issue. ( Not just empty apoloziging messages)
I hope that my feedback proves helpful for future guests.

Four adults all over 60 celebrating my brother and sister-in-law's retirement. The condo was perfect for the four of us. Having two beautiful master suites (really comfy king beds!) was lovely. The bathrooms are huge and luxurious. The kitchen had everything we needed to make nice meals and eat in occasionally. We spent a huge amount of time on the lanai because of the gorgeous ocean view. A real bonus is the decor and artwork in the condo. The second bonus is the location. We walked down to the beach we viewed from the lanai every night for the sunset. There is also a cove beach with amazing snorkeling that is completely walkable, about a 1/4 mile away. We saw over a dozen different types of fish as well as swam with a sea turtle and watched over a sleeping monk seal on that beach. Honolulu, the North Shore and eastern shore of the island are all very accessible by car. Within Ko'olina itself are shops, tons of restaurants, luaus and just about everything you need. It really was a perfect vacation. Thank you, Richard!

Photos lack details of key rooms because they are unsatisfactory. The unit was unkept. Bathrooms were dirty. Showers were full of mildew, mold & hair. Plumbing did not drain properly in showers. Kitchen was dirty & greasy. Furnishings were dingy, stained & dusty. Carpets were heavily stained throughout the unit with multiple area rugs covering stained carpets. Beds were extremely uncomfortable. An extra sheet set was satin Playboy themed.
After our first unpleasant night I called VRBO, it was never stated I was past the 12 hour period to file a complaint. It was suggested to dispute the charges w my credit card co & to resolve issues w host on my own.
The owner was uncooperative & unpleasant. He demanded to inspect unit. Day 5 a cleaning service came. They stated cleaning cannot start until plumbing issue was resolved & they would not be able to clean unit to satisfactory results considering the condition. We made the decision to vacate the rental after not being able to resolve issues. The host refused to issue a refund for the nights unused like VRBO had asked him to do & we lost the 30 day rental amount we had paid. We found a new spotless rental in the same complex with a local property management service for a comparable rate.
It would be helpful to provide photos however, I can't. I relied heavily on reviews when booking this rental. The reviews with complaints are more accurate than the positive reviews. If you have issues w checking in call VRBO in 12 hrs.

We didn’t regret our booking. The host Ingrid, who lives in the same house, was very kind, even before we arrived. She called us and made sure we know everything about our soon to be vacation home. During the stay, she was always available, very helpful and generous. The condo is spacious and has everything a family needs for a great vacation time. We felt very comfortable and didn’t miss a thing. Location-wise this place is perfect. The nearby lagoons are perfect for the kids and you can walk to all of them. Ingrid offers all kinds of beach supplies (chairs, mats, snorkeling tools, a wagon to transport everything, body boards, you name it). The distance to Honolulu and other places is from half an hour to an hour depending on traffic. The property is secured by a gate and you will have your own parking lot.
Nearby you will find an ABC store, Starbucks, icecream place and restaurants. The area is pricey, but so is all of Oahu. We enjoyed the sunsets from our balcony or the lagoons, if we were home around that time. Definitely a wonderful place and we can highly recommend it.

I almost want to keep unit as our secret so it'll be available anytime we visit Oahu.
We stayed for 2 weeks with our 3 sons. Ingrid met us at the gate and escorted us into the unit to ensure we were satisfied. She had bottled water in the fridge and coffee for us which was so sweet.
The location of this unit was perfect and the unit was exactly as described. Its also fully stocked with enough beach towels, paper towel, toilet paper, spices, plates, water toys, coolers, wagons for all your beach stuff. Plus, my sons used the garage to work out in every other day.
We enjoyed the sunset almost every night right from the balcony or a short 2 minute walk to the beach. Literally 2 minutes away. Plus, theres a secret beach nearby that takes you only 3 minutes to get to for swimming or snorkeling. If you want something bigger than about a 6 minute walk right to the first of many larger beaches in Ko'Olina. It was perfection for our stay.
Big plus, you really dont need to go far for dinning, grocery or shopping. Costco was a 7 minute drive.
The unit is near disney, or wet n wild if you want a break from the beach. We spent a few days in between beach days at the pool which is right by the unit.
Oh and ladies - it has great hot water with excellent water pressure.
Overall we had a fantastic time. The description doesnt do this unit justice and the hosts were the sweetest we've come across. If I lived in Oahu, I would just visit them, just because.

We have stayed in the Ko Olina area 8 times in a dozen years at 4 different developments (Kai Lani, Ko Olina Kai, Fairways and Plantation). This was our favorite property to date.
The unit and its available bedding were the perfect size for our family of 5, including 2 teenagers.
More than adequately stocked family room, bathrooms and kitchen made for an easier Costco run upon arrival.
Pool and grill area made for a great alternative on days when the lagoons were a little crowded. Nearby Kapolei has pretty much everything else you could need while on vacation.
Special shout-out to Romy, the late afternoon-evening manager on duty. Hustled and bent over backwards to make sure everyone enjoyed themselves while on the property.

Ingrid is a wonderful host. Easy access to Ko O'lina resort beaches at the lagoons. Gorgeous view from our balcony. High end appliances including washer and dryer in the unit. Fully equipped kitchen. Large Master bathroom and bedroom with lots of storage space for our clothes and luggage. There are lots of towels, beach towels and extra pillows and linens if needed. We felt so comfortable here. The adults were all over 80 years old, so the place was wonderfully comfortable and quiet. We spent time with family in Hawaii in creating first time memories for the elders of the family to meet their great grand children. The 3rd time at this property was a charm. Herb is a very gracious host and he keeps this rental condo in tip top shape.
If you want a clean and friendly environment to just relax and enjoy the Hawaiian Sun or a place to go for fun and excitement then this is the place for you. The location is one of Oahu's best for peace and quiet. It is also close enough to Honolulu for you to enjoy big city fun and excitement .
Our son and his wife live in Honolulu and visited us on the weekends in order to get away from the big city. Our daughter, her husband and their two children stayed with us for a week and they enjoyed the sun and sand at the lagoons at Ko'Olina as well as snorkeling and hiking all over Oahu. My sister visited from Colorado and found the condo magical and a great escape for all children of all ages.
The place has recently been given a facelift with fresh paint and it was sparkling clean when we arrived. After checking the pantry we crossed many items off our shopping list it was so well supplied. All appliance were in working order and the only problem we encountered was the dishwasher. In the middle of our visit the roller for the top tray broke and Herb had it fixed immediately. It took three days to finish the repair only because a part had to be shipped in. There were no other problems.
I highly recommend this place and will return as soon as possible.

This is the best VRBO we’ve ever stayed at!
We have had the best stay. Ingrid is wonderfully welcoming and helpful. Everything is there that you need. Fully equipped kitchen with all the utensils, pots, plates, glasses, blender, coffee maker etc you need. There’s a good amount of freezer space too.
In the garage there are all sorts of pool toys (pool is a very short walk away from this unit), there’s a bike or two, a couple of wagons for taking all your stuff to the nearby lagoons, beach chairs, cool boxes.
There’s good snorkeling nearby and lovely restaurants (lovely Mexican and the Monkey Pod restaurant is delicious too) and of course the four lagoons.
We watched whales many times while sitting on the lanai. And the sunsets! Blissful.
We were staying while the weather wasn’t fantastic, very rainy and windy some days - but the weather always seemed so much better in Ko’Olina than other parts of the island.
Everything is easily accessible from Ko’Olina.
Safeway and Costco are close by to get all your essentials and ABC walkable from the unit.
We will definitely be back to stay here. We’ve loved every minute and were pretty grumpy when we had to leave.

We were lucky enough to stay in Richard’s condo for a second time. The complex, Kai Lani, is beautifully landscaped and laid out. The pool and hot tub are clean and a fun place to relax after a day at the beach. A quick 3 minute walk away is Paradise Cove, a small beach where you can snorkel and kids can swim safely in the waves. You will find three other coves a few minutes down the road. There is a strip mall a five minute walk away with restaurants, coffee shops, an ice cream store and stores. Richard’s condo is well equipped with a large open concept kitchen. There are two master bedroom suites with comfortable king sized beds. The decor is tasteful and feel like your second (dream) home. We cannot wait to return and have already inquired about our next stay!

We really loved this place. My husband actually said its his favourite vacation rental ever, which is saying a lot. The condo has a wonderful layout and the kitchen is very well stocked with all the appliences and utencils etc you need for cooking. Paradise cove is just a short walk away where we would snorkle with turtles in the morning and play on the beach.
The lagoons are also a short walk away.
The kids loved the pool area. The big pool is heated, so our 2 year old could go in the water without shivering. There is also a wonderful hot tub there. Its was so nice hanging out by the pool and we made a lot of friends.

We had a most wonderful 3 weeks at this Ko Olina gem. The view and sunset from the lanai is awesome. The location is great, a 7 minute walk to the market place and restaurants, and easy walking to the lagoons, resorts, golf course and marina. The condo is immaculate and well equipped. There was only 2 of us, but very suitable for 2 couples with enough space and privacy for both. The condo complex is very quiet and set away from the crowded resorts, which we loved.
I gave a 3 for check in, only because when we arrived, the intercom/phone system was down so we could not connect with the owner/caretaker to open gate to let us in so at 11 pm we found ourselves climbing over the gate along with our luggage. If we were not in good shape this would have been a much bigger problem. Technology glitch, so not sure that anything would of fixed that. Entry into the condo after that was easy!
Unfortunately the washing machine broke the day before our arrival, and could not be replaced till after our departure. But I must say Karim bent over backwards to remedy the problem, and even arranged for the cleaning service to pick up and drop off our laundry. We were most appreciative!
I highly recommend this unit and believe it is one of the best places to stay in Ko Olina, being slightly removed from the crowded resorts but walking distance to everything within the Ko Olina area. And with Kapolei just a few miles down the highway, it is close to amenities such as large grocery and department stores as well as Costco.

We are frequent visitors to Oahu and absolutely loved our stay at Ingrid’s beautiful condo. The condo has a breathtaking ocean view. Each evening my husband and I enjoyed watching the spectacular ocean sunsets from the condo’s lani. Ingrid and Wolfgang are terrific hosts and they keep you well informed. They treat you like Ohana and you fall in love with Bogart and Cocoa (their dog and cat). Kai Lani is a very friendly community and it is within walking distance to the beaches, shopping and excellent restaurants. If you have a car rental, they provide a parking space for you. The condo is very comfortable and beautifully decorated. The kitchen is well stocked with all the comforts of home. We made trips to Costco to buy gas and food. Also Safeway was a good place for groceries. It is about a 10 minute drive to Kapolei from Ko Olina. If you like local cuisine then a trip to Zippy’s in Kapolei should go on your agenda. We also enjoy eating at the Monkey Pod and Longhi which is walking distance from the condo. Overall, I would highly recommend this condo for your visit to Hawaii. It is definitely our happy place!

What a find! The property was clean, spacious and close to everything you need. The beach (Paradise Cove) was a 10 minute walk at most, although we preferred Lagoon 1 which was a further 5-10mins. The property had a fantastic sea view, you can watch the amazing sunset from the lanai. The complex has a pool which was only steps away. The pool was clean and never too busy to find a lounger and shade. we enjoyed evening swims there. The accommodation was large enough for our party of 6 and provided a number of useful extras such as a beach trolley/cart and flippers/snorkels/boogie boards/cooler/beach chairs. Whilst Ingrid was away Wolfgang looked after us well, on hand if we had any questions and immediately fixed a minor problem for us when we informed him. The only thing worth pointing out is that it is located on the west coast. This itself isn't a problem, its beautiful and almost guaranteed good weather, but it requires a drive across the island if you were intending to visit places such as diamond head, koko hoead, waikiki, manoa falls etc. We found the traffic on the highway can get busy around pearl harbour every day. Just needs a little planning and early starts :) I wouldn't hesitate to stay at this location again, I miss it already.

What a beautiful and comfortable condo! So close to the Ko Olina beach lagoons and we loved the convenience of being able to walk to any of the 4 Lagoons. There is also a wonderful private beach right behind the condo that has one of the best snorkeling spots on the island. The location was convenient to everything on the island. We were able to easily drive to various excursions near Honolulu including Pearl Harbor and Diamond Head, visit the North Shore to hike Waimea Falls, and see the Byodo-In temple on the east. We would definitely recommend staying here!

This was our second visit to Our Place of Joy. We had the best time. The condo and grounds were perfect for us. Our group consisted of grandparents and adult children who worked remotely. We also vacationed! (Zipline, golf, pool, beach, snorkeling, lagoons....). We enjoyed visiting with our Honolulu family and tried to time our drives in and back to the off hours to avoid some of the traffic. Vicki was immediately available for any issues. It was a great visit in a perfect place.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this condo in Kai Lani at Ko Olina. We loved being able to walk to the market, the lagoons, the beach and the proximity to services for shopping and restaurants in Kapolei. We visited the delightful pool area on site almost everyday. Sunset viewing was a special time as we joined residents and guests at the beach to immerse ourselves in the experience. We hated to leave this beautiful spot in Paradise.

We loved this property. It truly was "a home away from home." My family and I had grown up in the islands and had known Ko Olina in the times of sugar cane fields/kiawe wood. It was known as Sand Tracks in those days of Dad going fishing and us kids swimming all day. This vacation rental meant a lot as we got to reminisce in such a peaceful setting: clean, organized, love the Hawaiian fixtures, and oh so quiet!

Karim's place is an excellent choice for those interested in staying in Ko'olina. The condo is in a wonderful location. You are five minutes from the beach and an easy 10 minute walk from multiple restaurants, Island Country Market, and Island Vintage Coffee. Karim's place was very clean, had a well-stocked kitchen, and a beautiful, unobstructed view of the ocean. Communication with Karim was always prompt. We would definitely stay here again, and we would wholeheartedly recommend this property to friends and family.

Really enjoyed our stay at this property. Just outside the main gate of three big resorts (Marriott, Disney, Four Seasons). Super easy and fast to walk to several beaches. Wide open view to the sea. Nice condo pool and jacuzzi. The condo was super clean and modern. Great furniture and fully outfitted for a family's needs for a week. The owner was very easy to deal with and responsive.
After a week in Waikiki, it was a literal and figurative breath of fresh air to head to Ko'Olina and the west coast of Oahu.
Had a slight challenge figuring out the TV sound system (first world problem!) but got it sorted after a while.

My parents and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this beautiful property and cannot wait to visit again soon; - this West Shore gem is not to be missed! When I saw the ocean-front view in-person, I knew the condo would be the perfect place for me to work remotely and for my "older" parents to ease out of pandemic isolation.
Check in was quick and easy. Herbert welcomed me into the space with a quick tour and invitation to leverage the well stocked fridge and pantry, and to use the beach gear in the garage. The beach chairs provided really come in handy for nightly sunset viewing. Oh and did I mention the pool? Evenings in the perfectly heated pool are a great way to wind down.
The condo is extremely spacious with a wonderful lanai (equip with plugs for working outside) and a desk area in one of the two bedrooms. The master bedroom has a king-sized bed, walk-in closet, and full bath with tub and shower (the photos do not do the room justice). The second bedroom is offset and has two doors for additional privacy. The washer/dryer and amply stocked household amenities come in handy when you spend long days at the beach or drip shave ice on your clothes.
I can't say enough good things about this property... We will be back!

The Property sits right before the Ko Olina Golf Course, Aulani resort and the lagoons for perfect beach and swimming days. We have stayed at many different condos over the years. This property by far is the best. The description given is accurate and has everything anyone would need to have a perfect get away. We can't wait to return.

There really is an ocean view. The interior is impeccable. Grounds are lush and well-manicured. The public beach to the west is just a short walk away. Minor drawbacks included gate and door entry codes, TV operation, next door neighbor smoking, dog barking, and using driveway as golf cart maintenance yard. Unit is near the only vehicle entrance to the entire Ko O'lina complex so there is traffic noise to be heard from the outside balcony. Short term rental standards vary widely. However, this was one of the best that I have encountered overall .

The ocean view from lanai was mesmerizing. You are close to the beach, pool, great dining, and the paved path that connects the lagoons. Paradise Cove Luau is steps away. IMO could not ask for a better place to stay on Oahu.

This property is so beautiful located in the Kai Lani neighborhood in the amazing Ko Olina area. The area is a resort area, so everything is well kept, and the Kai Lani neighborhood is right off the H1 freeway in a gated community. You enter the home from the first floor and go upstairs to an AMAZING panoramic view of the Hawaiian Railway train tracks and an ocean view of Makaiwa Beach Park. This view was so serene to wake up to every morning, and the natural light throughout the day was spectacular. One night, we even had an amazing view of the firework show put on by one of the hotels in Ko Olina. Karim, the owner was very responsive to any issue we had at the house and answered all of my phone calls. He was quick to resolve anything of our concern even leading up to the stay (we’re very anxious people, and we’re so happy that Karim didn’t mind answering our never ending questions). The house was stocked with the essentials like towels, a vacuum, washer and dryer, shampoo, conditioner, body soap, all kitchenware and appliances, detergent, and so much more. And upon entry, the home was wonderfully clean. It is spacious, the beds and pillows are comfortable, and it felt like home. We would be thrilled to stay here again! My 5 year old son told us, “I give this house 2 thumbs up!” upon check out! Thank you, Karim and family!

Beautiful Hawaiian hale had everything we needed for a relaxing stay! Open, airy, with lots of natural light, we enjoyed reading on the outdoor lanai and taking in the magnificent blue hues of the ocean view. Fully stocked home with coffee, beach towels, and a wine fridge for liquid libations from the local market. A great split floor plan allowed us to use one bedroom as a quiet office. We walked to the the market for coffee in the mornings, to the beach lagoon, and to our Paradise Cove Luau dinner as well. Close drive to specialty shops and supermarkets in Kapolei. Karim was a terrific host and answered our calls promptly. We loved it so much we plan on reserving it again soon!

Karim was helpful and replied promptly. Location was close to Paradis COVE where we got to snorkeling with Sea Turtles and see moank seals sun bathing. Condo is perfect for a family without small children due to white carpet through out the house and wool rugs 7nder dining table. That was the only stressful part for me with 3 kids ages 2-9. Loved this condo. Easy contact free check-in. Location to many things was a plus - walking distance to Paradise Cove Beach, the Lagoons of Ko'Olina, and many restaurant choices. Driving anywhere on the island was easily accessible for half-day & full-day adventures. The pool area with shared gas grills was an immaculate space. So many friendly folk to share daily adventures with.

We were able to reserve this condo for the month of November and really enjoyed our stay. There are so
many positives. Here are a few: the view of the ocean; the sunsets; the hospitality of the owner who lives in the same quadplex. Owner was quick to address any issues we had - that is a great plus. All the beach equipment we needed. Got advice on a great restaurant; and so many more. We’re able to walk to shops and eateries. Great walking paths along the beach. Premier golf course (Ko Olina Golf Club). Love the location - away from the busyness of Waikiki, but close enough for shopping and dinner. Oahu is our favorite island as there is so much to do.

My husband and I along with my daughter and her boyfriend had a great time! The condo had everything we needed to make us feel like home, and it was close to where my family lives. We watched the sunset from the patio everyday. We even did a family photo shoot down by the beach. The only issue was the parking. We had a truck and a small SUV, and we could barely get the SUV in the one car garage. Other than that, Ingrid was really nice!! Would stay there again.

Nice view from unit, once you climb the 18 stairs up to the condo. which is not on the description on VRBO site. therefore not a good place for the elderly with medical issues. ( hip or knee problems ) There is no smoking anywhere on the premises. including outside . Which to me is ridiculous if you enjoy a cigar after a meal. Also not in the VRBO site.
On a more positive note the condo is in a great location . easy to get to , close to beach areas and resorts.
Very close to the pool which is very nice, well kept and clean. Grilling is done in the pool area only ,but close enough to the unit, to return with a hot meal.
Very well stocked with cleaning aids, Plenty of room to move around.
