Absolutely loved the location, the quiet neighborhood, the big lanai, the outdoor shower and the brand new bbq! Found the counter space a bit small for doing much cooking. Only small issue was that the cutlery drawer had a horrible musty smell, possibly from the wicker tray, so we kept our cutlery in a mug on the counter. Would definitely stay again!

Property was in a very quiet neighborhood. Stayed for 5 nights. Two beers provided was a nice touch. Bed was comfortable. To access property use the first driveway right after the 3900 driveway. We pulled in the wrong driveway and called and the host answered right away and got us sorted out quickly. Limited pans in kitchen and no cookie sheets.

This was our 1st trip to Kauai and we literally rolled the dice on where to stay. We are Disney fans and this location reminded us of the TikiRoom. It was the perfect distance from everything we wanted to see and more.

The bamboo cottage for two is a great spot for resting in between adventures on the south side of the island. We enjoyed eating our meals on the lanai with the geckos and chickens. Kitchen is well stocked with all the stuff we needed for cooking quick meals at home. We even made some burgers on the grill! The beach chairs and snorkel kits were a nice surprise as well! Location is wonderful as it is away from the resort crowd. Quiet and truly relaxing! The host was easy to communicate with and we had two celebratory beers waiting for us when we checked in! A refreshing and thoughtful touch! Thank you so much!

The cottage was very clean and has everything you need for a great vacation. The location is convenient to access the Waimea Canyon, Koloa, Poipu, and Lihue. The “welcome” beers were especially nice after the flights from the east coast. Thanks again Tiare for a great place to stay.

Aloha to all. Bamboo for Two was just what we needed. The community was peaceful and view from the lanai was beautiful. After exploring some exquisite beaches and awe inspiring Waimea Canyon and trails we would come back to the cottage/home where we could find the comforts needed. We made all our meals there and enjoyed them on the lanai. Coffee on the lanai was a great way to start the day after a good nights sleep in a comfortable bed. Having a washer & dryer was a big benefit. Our host, Tiare, readily answered any questions and insured a good stay. I would return and recommend this to others. Mahalo!

The house and location fit our needs perfectly. It was a good central location to get everywhere we needed to go during our stay, there is even a cute little park you can walk/run in about a mile away. I’m putting this here because I missed it during my own trip—if you’re looking for the code to get into the lockbox check the messages sent by the host, not the “check-in” section of Vrbo, maybe this message will help someone out. My partner and I absolutely loved our stay in this cozy house and are hoping to return in the future. Bonus points if you get to meet Koa the dog!

I would highly recommend staying here. Perfect little get away but also close to so much!! The accommodations are perfect for two. They also left two beers for our arrivals with a cute little note. There are beach chairs and flippers/snorkels which came in very handy for our beach trips. Loved out stay here!

Cottage with bamboo-themed inside, in the back yard of house in the of a residential area. Own driveway, as others said, can be a bit tight to turn the car. Lanai with partial ocean view in the distance. Clean, well equipped and quiet. Very convenient location for Waimea canyon, Poipu area, and south-departing Napali boat tours. North shore is a bit further away but still doable.

One of the things we loved the most is that this property is a little bit away from the busier areas (but only 5 minutes drive to Poipu), through our 6 days there we saw 1-2 cars drive down the street per day. The lanai was great, we were actually disappointed that we didn't spend more time sitting on the porch just relaxing with the scenery. This isn't your most up to date luxurious resort type place, but everything is well maintained and cleaned, with everything you need for a comfortable and enjoyable experience. We used the kitchen to store our food and cook most of our meals and everything worked well. The outdoor shower was nice for washing off sand, and the water temperature is adjustable which was very much appreciated on the cooler evenings. Just outside the main door was an area for gear supplied to the renters that included two relaxer Beach chairs (with handles and backpack straps), two boogey boards, and three full sets of snorkels and fins. The only thing I would have liked to see improved was the mattress, it wasn't terrible but a more supportive mattress would have been appreciated. We loved staying here and would not have any reservations staying here again.

My husband and I enjoyed our 2 weeks at Bamboo for 2. It is about 10 minutes south of the main highway in a residential area bordering on rural. Just be aware when renting a vehicle that smaller works better in maneuvering the driveway. Our jeep worked fine. Microwave is small and on top of the fullsized refrigerator. There is also a full stove and all the pots and pans we needed. Wifi is sometimes iffy but met our needs. This was a great base for exploring Waimea canyon and the Poipu and Lihue areas.

Being in a neighborhood, we really felt at home at the Bamboo Cottage. The cottage is tucked back behind the main house with it's own private garden. Everything was just wonderful. Neighborhood was very quiet, no houses across the street. Great sunset views from the deck. Kitchen was well equipped with a lot of nice quality items. Everything was great. Just make sure you get your access code before you arrive because the cell signal up at the cottage is spotty. Highly recommend the Bamboo Cottage if you are looking for a quiet get away and Kauai is the best place if your a nature lover and you want to get away from the traffic on the other islands.

This is our 3rd visit to Kauai and this was the best place yet. No noisy neighbors, no slamming doors, or foot falls overhead, so quiet & peaceful. Great location for exploring the south and west side of the island. We will be back.

My wife and I stayed at Bamboo Cottage for two weeks in December, and thoroughly enjoyed our time there. The location is away from almost everything, but that suited us. And Kaya Carmen, the manager, made check-in and everything else easy. Kanoa, the onsite manager, was friendly and helpful. Not sure when we’ll return to Kauai, but if we do, we’ll definitely look in Bamboo Cottage Two. Thanks to all.

This little cottage was perfect for us. It's about 2.5 miles off the main road which made it a quiet neighborhood, but not an extra long drive. Not only were there towels for the beach but also beach chairs, umbrella, and snorkeling gear. Would recommend without hesitation!

Exactly as much house as we needed. Very quiet, except for the chickens. Neighbors were very friendly. Not as verdant as I expected (I pictured a bungalow in the jungle). Drive to beach was more than 12 minutes. Property manager was very responsive and friendly.

This place was absolutely amazing for the price! We enjoyed the views and the quietness of our surroundings. It’s tucked back away from all the tourist traps and in a warm little neighborhood. Everything was very clean and well kept. The place was actually better than the pictures. Communication with the property management was a little bit shaky, but they always responded. It just took more time than was convenient sometimes. I would highly recommend this place! I have already recommended friends who have booked it and will be staying there soon. We will be coming back!
