The home is beautiful and well stocked. Location is prrfect, close to shopping and restaurants. We snorkeled and went swimming in the bay. House was well stocked with beach chairs and boogie boards. The family had a wonderful time .

The house is positioned perfectly for our family. We fell in love the moment we entered the spacious property and bright open rooms. The convenience of Poipu and the use of the athletic club was priceless. Our adult kids went to the club to work out, we all enjoyed snorkeling at the beach house, and Koloa landing, and surfing at pekala. A perfect stay from start to finish!

We love coming to Kauai and this was our first time renting a home on the island. We loved this place - right on the water with really great views of a beautiful golf course out one side and the entire back of the home facing the ocean. It was a great size home for our family of 6. We love to come back and watch movies every night after the days activities and the large family room and big TV were great. We also love to run and the road to and from the house was great for running, right on the ocean. Overall great home, easy check-in and check-out, and great communication from the host.

Great location within a very short walk to a great beach. The property manager was very responsive to our requests. House was well equipped with all the necessary beach equipment. We would definitely stay there again.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the house. The photos were accurate. The location was great - we went snorkeling a couple time in the harbor and walked down to the botanical gardens. The decor, books, games, all the little details made the house very comfortable and special-feeling. Watching the sunset from the deck was a perfect way to spend an evening!

Lovely home with beautiful view in a great location! Easily accommodated 6 people over 3 generations. *Nicely stocked with all the amenities - Kitchen: appliances, utensils, dishes, bakeware, spices; Beach: toys, chairs, umbrellas, coolers, towels, outdoor shower; Bathroom towels, basic sundries, hairdryer, etc. *Location is amazing. Short walk to bay/beach, spouting horn, botanical gardens. Far enough out of town you avoid a lot of people & noise but still just a short drive to great shops & restaurants.*Check in/out is a breeze. Keyless entry. PM is communicative and responds timely. Things to consider/useful to know.*Main A/C works great. BR A/C's do not blow cold (even after we cleaned the filters) which means sleeping with the windows open until replaced. Loft has several fans which helps a lot as it is significantly warmer. *Roosters are many & crow all times of the day. Oceanfront BR has the luxury of the ocean waves to drown out the noise but those in the 2nd BR & loft are subject to incessant crowing which can make sleep a challenge (despite earplugs). *The dock across the bay is a popular fishing spot which often continues well after dark - voices & music carry. Those in the oceanside BR may find this disruptive. *The dock light across the bay is bright and shines right toward the house. Generally not an issue unless you are sleeping in the loft. With no window coverings, it provides a lot of illumination & may be disruptive to some (not for us).

Kaua’i bay house exceeded expectations in every way. The location was perfect. The house sits away from the congested resort areas, but still well within easy access to restaurants, shops, beaches, etc., which are all just down the road. There is also a quiet beach and park right next door. The house itself was perfect for our needs. The pace is very nice and well maintained, yet still cozy and comfortable - exactly what a beach house should be. The kitchen was fully equipped, there were ample linens, and even had beach towels, chairs, umbrellas, etc., -all of which were in good condition. The property is positioned directly on the waterfront, with a comfortable breeze 24/hr/day - we never once needed the air conditioner. The Koloa Kai team did an exceptional job of communicating with us and making everything as convenient as can be. We were even greeted with a welcome basket, seeing as we were there celebrating our wedding anniversary. We will definitely look to stay here again, the next time we are in Kauai.

We wished we would have known about the harbor lights and lack of window treatments in the main rooms as it would have influenced our lodging decision in the poipu area. There was a lack of privacy definitely at night time.
Otherwise the house had ample space for four adults, nice views, and a good location. The local beach was great for a quick ocean dip.

The house is beautiful and the views were breath taking! The kitchen was very well stocked with spices which was very much appreciated. The ice machine did not work which would not have been an issue if the island wasn’t having an ice shortage.
The location was perfect and we all had a wonderful time! We all Would highly recommend this property!

This home is beautiful, homey, has beach vibes and sits practically on the water. Hearing the waves crash during the night, is the best for relaxing sleep. The kitchen is well equipped with everything you need. The location is great. Close to so many great places to visit. We just loved it.

This was my 5th time to visit Kauai, and it's always a new adventure each time I go with so much to do, beautiful climate - you name it! This was my daughters first time to visit, and this home was perfect for my family of 5.

We picked this place to stay at since we were getting married and having our honeymoon at the same time. The house was amazing, and when we walked in for the first time they had a bottle of champagne and chocolates with a card congratulating us. We appreciated that so much and were thankful for that gesture. We loved leaving the sliding glass door open in our room at night for the air coming in and the sounds of waves hitting the rocks. The best part of the place to us was the hammock!!! We layed on it all the time and just enjoyed the weather and ocean view from it. We couldn't have picked a better place to stay for the first half of our honeymoon. We will definitely be staying there again when we come back.

We liked this house and the location is very convenient. We enjoyed relaxing on the lanai watching the boats and activity in the bay. The house really had everything we needed, included a well stocked ktichen. The property management company was very responsive before and during our stay.

Our stay combined stunning views and a perfect location with several drawbacks. The property's prime location and beautiful outdoor spaces, like the lanai and hammock, were highlights. However, challenges abounded. Cramped indoor spaces made comfort difficult. Upon arrival, a disturbing late-night incident involving a local burning bushes next to the house required police intervention and set a negative tone.
The nearby pier was a persistent source of nighttime noise from gatherings, loud music, and fireworks, disrupting our peace and forcing us to shut windows to block out light and sound, which detracted from the natural beauty. The open loft design and awfully creaky floors meant noise traveled easily, affecting sleep if anyone moved.
In summary, while the location and scenery were positive, issues with space, noise, and privacy marred our experience, making it less peaceful and comfortable than anticipated.

This house was near perfect. The pictures do not do it justice. It was beautiful, spacious, and clean. There were beautiful views from each of the many windows and it was thoughtfully filled with essentials. We stayed as a group of adults but will definitely bring our families back if we are ever lucky enough to visit again. It is a short walk to a small beach and a very short drive to restaurants, shopping and more beaches.

We had a great time at a beautiful house with an amazing view. We really loved the athletic club, with a 1 year old, it was a great fit. We worked out there, played volleyball and went to the pool quite a bit. The house is in a great location, we could walk to the Botanical Garden and the Spouting Horn. Overall everything was perfect for our group.

We had an amazing stay at this home. The location was perfect for our extended family. Close enough to food and amenities but still remote enough to be away from a lot of people.
When we entered the home, we all felt it was better than the pics, which never happens!
It was also the perfect location for a wedding proposal! The backyard created the perfect backdrop for a memorable moment.

The sunrises/sunsets are gorgeous, the home is outfit with everything you need, and the light, open spaciousness of the home reminds you every moment that you are in paradise. We loved our time at Kauai Bay House! We traveled as a family - including my parents and two kids (7, 9). The house itself was great, well-equipped with beach gear, right on a cove with wonderful ocean sounds and views. You can walk along the road to the beach on that cove - enjoyed watching the sunset there. Excellent a/c on main level and in bedrooms; it could get a bit warm on upper level loft area but there are plenty of windows to open if needed - the ocean breeze and lots of fans available to help cool it down up there. 360 views from the loft were lovely any time of day! Clean and updated, comfortable beds and pull out couch. Location was very convenient to spouting horn, nearby shopping and dining as well as Poipu Beach. Access to Beach Club is a wonderful perk and very nice pool/club. Hosts were responsive and clearly care about their guests enjoying a relaxing vacation! We hope to return again some day!

Me and my fiancé went for 4 nights 5 days and loved the property! It is definately big enough to bring 2-4 more friends or kids with the amount of space and rooms etc. It felt home-y and we appreciated the plenty of communication from the hosts and even ideas of what do do out there! Like travel agents almost haha. Really nice! Sometimes there would be late night partying at the beach that we could hear but it did not ruin our experience at all

Amazing property! We loved our time here! The house was amazing, the view was amazing, the location was amazing and the communication and welcome was amazing! The house had a beach feel and served our family perfectly with room for everyone! We spend a lot of time on the deck and the kids in the hammock just listening to the waves crash! The house is also stocked with anything you can think of…beach toys, chairs, snorkel gear, ice packs, and more! Thank you for an amazing stay!!

Get ready to unpack and relax. The property was clean and ready on time. The communication from start to finish was fantastic. We enjoyed our morning coffee while watching sea turtles play in the water. The morning we were leaving we had a huge rainbow over the water. Everything was more than what we could have expected. This home on the ocean is wonderful. With only one home next to us, a golf course behind us and a beach just a 5 minute walk away it is very peaceful. There are many island sites a short drive away, great food nearby, and a well stocked kitchen. This place has it all Our family of 8 enjoyed our 10 days here. Definately recommend staying here.

The house was perfect for our family size. The property management company (Koloa Kai Vacation Rentals) was excellent. We arrived later in the evening and they had the lights on for us. They were highly responsive to our needs. Linda and Nani were available via text or telephone call. I was really impressed. We have been to the island several times in the past and I really liked this location. We were roughly 150 foot walk to a great little beach. The house is located in a area that is quiet but close, not far from all the action if we want to be in it. The house had, boogie boards, sand, toys, beach chairs, and beach umbrellas. It was a really nice stay for our family.

We loved our time at this home. It had beautiful Sunrise views and a short walk for sunset views. The home was clean and spacious. Bathrooms are a little small but adequate. The only downside was not having window coverings in the main living area. Would be nice to have the option for privacy from the outside. We would definitely stay again.

This house was perfect for my family of 5. To be right on the water was a dream, close to town, snorkeling and the spouting horn. The house had everything we needed kitchen wise and beach wise (snorkels, beach umbrellas and chairs etc). The bonus was access to the poipu beach club so we could use a pool or workout facility/basketball courts.
We will defiantly be returning.
The only thing I’d give future visitors a heads up about is the bay has activity late at night. I believe fishing excursions etc going out. There were several nights we had to close master door around 2am due to noise in the bay. But nothing that would stop us from returning soon! Thank you!
