We really enjoyed our stay at this condo. The layout is great for multiple or large families and the second floor and balcony provide great views of the mountains and the ocean. The community pool and gym are close and really great, too. However, as someone who runs a vacation rental, the place could really be much better stocked - particularly for a fairly expensive, three-bedroom condo. There were no more than 8 plates and pieces of silverware, no food storage containers, and we had to reach out to the property manager several times for very basic supplies. It was also not as clean as it should be given the newness and cost of the condo. Overall, great unit that could be even better with some additions/improvements.

The rental was spacious, clean, and close to the pool. We loved how each bedroom had its own bathroom and that they were spread on in the unit. We had so many family breakfast meals at the kitchen table and the open space provide a great place for us all to hang out.

Myself and four adults stayed here for two nights on our visit to south Kauai. The place is enormous and the layout of the place allows for everyone to have their own space, while also allowing great areas to congregate and eat dinner. The lanai was a great place for a cup of coffee and a rooster concert every morning. Beach gear and garage were a huge plus for us. Probably about a mile drive to Poipu beach lots, but there’s typically a lot more parking than other beaches/beach parks. We loved our stay at Pili Mai and would recommend to any of our family and friends. Pili Mai was also a great location as it’s centrally located between the local shopping centers, Koloa center, local food trucks, and Poipu beach. Mahalo for your hospitality, we truly felt the aloha and Ohana treatment!

The condo was as described. It was exceptionally clean, well stocked, and accessible to beaches, local stores and food, and a great location for us. We had trouble with the ice machine the first day but the manager answered our email within a short time and sent someone over to check it as well. It worked just fine but the setting had been slightly off.
The condo had beach chairs, snorkel gear, boogie board (although two would have been nice instead of just the one), beach umbrella (we did not use because of the wind), several coolers, and a cart to use on the beach. There was a cruiser to use but unfortunately one tire tube needed fixing.
The management company communicated clearly during all aspects: booking prior to stay, prior to check out and with questions.

We had a great stay at Pili Mai. The unit was like-new and was the perfect size for our family of five. Kitchen items, linens, and beach supplies were all well stocked. The neighborhood is a quick 15-minute walk to the beach and 5-minute drive to Kukui'ula shops and Old Koloa.The unit could have been a bit cleaner and the pool was definitely on the smaller side for a complex this big. Lots of kids running around but overall a nice amenity.I would definitely recommend this stay for families looking for a good size, newer construction unit on the south shore!

We had a wonderful experience for our first visit to Hawaii. The stay at Pilai Mai in Poipu was fantastic. Great location to experience the island. Beaches are close by and the village market shopping plaza at the end of the road made it easy to get anything we needed including great food options. The home was clean and well stocked for a family of 4. The rental company even combined the twin beds to make a huge bed for our daughter. The company is very responsive and we would consider staying here again when we come back for a visit.

This is the second time we've stayed at this unit. It has plenty of space, great views, and a great location. The unit was clean and the wifi worked great. We love Pili Mai and the unit is close to the community pool. Our only minor issue was there is not enough utensils and kitchen ware. We primarily do our cooking at the unit and always have issues finding tupperware or something to store the left overs. If you plan to BBQ, there are several residential propane BBQ's throughout the complex. If you're able to get it going you'll need some BBQ utensils.

The location of this rental was perfect for us. We had easy access to the things we wanted to experience on the island. The rental was very clean and stocked with all the things we might need. There were plenty of beach chairs and snorkel equipment as well. The neighborhood was quiet and well maintained. Check-in and check out were seamless! Our group of five had a very pleasant visit to Kauai. The condo was very clean and well stocked. Other than some parking challenges with tight spaces for SUV sized cars, the place felt very welcoming, safe, and comfortable for all of us. We were a bit surprised that there were no handheld showerheads in any of the bathrooms. This is something that would be expected for luxury versions of condos such as these. All in all, we loved the way everything was labeled and described once in the condo, including kitchen utensils and was very impressed with the variety of pots and pans. The community pool was just a short walk across the road. It is very large and nice. They also have a hot tub next to it which made the stay even more enjoyable. The beds were super comfortable and we even decided to do some laundry given there was a washer and dryer inside of the condo. The Lanai is also a nice outside deck overlooking the area and we often sat out there in the mornings drinking coffee and enjoying the nice weather we had while visiting. Poipu beach is just a short drive from the condo complex. We saw seals and turtles while there, too. Very impressive area overall.

Arranging a suitable time for six people to vacation, is not the easiest. Juggling schedules and arranging time off work creates quite a logistics problem. My wife and I were constantly looking thru VRBO listings, trying to find a place with three bedrooms, and three bathrooms. We were fortunate enough to find this particular condo in a very quiet (except for roosters in the morning) complex, that was very clean, and extremely close to everything. The condo was complete with a cooler, beach chairs, an umbrella, snorkeling gear, and two Boogie boards. Poipu Beach is very close, and worth the effort, which is very little. Beds were very comfortable, kitchen was well equipped, and living room, was large enough for our six adults to be comfortable after all the excursions. Pool is very closed and clean. Jacuzzi is nicely heated, and large enough to not feel crowded ... sometimes :). If we ever go back to Kauai, we will definitely look at this complex. The proximity to the airport, about 30 mins, and everything else, makes it a perfect place to stay

We really enjoyed this condo, location was great, the proximity to the pool was excellent, and it was clean and modern. There could have been a few more dishes to accommodate several meals without having to wash or run the dishwasher, but besides that the place was well stocked. The only complaint is that the key code did not work when we arrived and the new code we were given did not work either so we were several days without a key code and only the single key in the lockbox, which is a pain when there are people coming and going all day long. The rental company was great, and easy to work with, but they did give us incorrect information about late check out, which was frustrating and cost us more money than expected. They also did not keep the code on for our late check out and we were back to using the lockbox key for the last day we were there. Damage deposit also took a long time to be refunded (currently still waiting for it 17 days after we left).

Poipu beach was great snorkeling, Acai bowls at Little fish and ice cream at Lapperts were yummy! Easy drive to north end and to Port Allen Marina.

It was very clean and came with a lot of dishes, towels, paper towels, toilet paper, tissues, etc which is very helpful when traveling with minimal household items. Management was very responsive and helpful and we were able to have early check in which was perfect with our early flight arrival time. Location is close to restaurants, stores, beaches, and various tours which was perfect! Would highly recommend and hope to stay again!

It was the perfect size for our group of 8, we loved being located in Poipu and really enjoyed being able to come back to Pili Mai. The pool was great and really close to the unit. The unit itself was very clean and spacious, we loved sitting on the balcony in the morning and coming back to A/C after a day out in the hot sun. Would definitely recommend!

Everything was as described. The minute we walked in, we felt familiar with the layout. Everyone was comfortable in their space. Our favorite activities centered around the lanai and watching the birds (maybe parrots) swarm the palm trees in the evening around sunset and the song they made when they left at sunrise.

We just spent some time at this home.The home was as shown in the photos and we were very happy with the layout and the amenities. We cooked many of our meals and the kitchen was nicely stocked.There were crumbs, cheerios in the couch and hand prints on the windows from the previous renters but other than that, the home was clean. It is a short 10 minute walk to the shopping mall and about 20 minute walk to the beach. We hope to visit again in the near future.

Was a great unit to stay at!. Was well equipped with beach stuff for adults and kids. Located right near the pool as well which is also extremely nice. Very clean unit with comfortable beds and lots of cooking supplies. 5-10 min walk to the shops and restaurants. 15 min to the beach or 5 min drive to a few different options. Stayed in Poipu 4 times and this has been the best place so far. Will definitely return. Any issues we had amazing service and quick responses. Extremely happy overall with the stay

Two families (2 children each) had a comfortable stay in this condo. The beds were good. There was ample seating in the living room and the table/bar arrangement. There could be better lighting in bedrooms and some additional ceramic plates and some plastic as well.

This was an ideal spot for our family to celebrate one of those wedding anniversaries ending in zero. The open living area and kitchen were sunny, and the outdoor porch was a good place to watch the sunrise. The three bedrooms were all separated which allowed for some degree of privacy. The location was within walking distance of the beach and a small shopping area, and midway between day trips to the West Side and North Shore. Our 18-month old grandson gives it two thumbs up.

One comment is that we could have used more kitchen dish towels but other than that it was great. We had stayed in a different unit in the past so we’re familiar with the property.
