I stayed at this condo in the Fairway Villas as the Waikoloa with my spouse for about 10 days. We really enjoyed the location (proximity to A-Bay, Queens & Kings shops), the cleanliness, and thoughtfulness of all of the amenities. The family definitely took effort to update and make improvements to decor, appliances, furniture, and it had everything we could need for a stay on Hawai'i Island. The owners were responsive and left helpful instructions and recommendations. We would definitely stay there again.

Enjoyed staying near A-bay with easy access to beach, shops and golf. We've been to the Kohala coast before and stayed in a traditional resort previously. We found this condo to be much more suitable for us than a typical resort room and appreciated being able to prepare meals in the kitchen. The owners were extremely responsive. The gold membership discount at the attached golf course is a fantastic deal and the included beach accessories with the condo made the week great for the kids.

First some of the positives: This condo is in a great location. We walked almost daily to the Queens Marketplace or Kings Complex for coffee, food or shopping. The check in process was easy since the owner uses an electronic keypad for entry (which is also nice not to have to keep track of a key). The condo is situated nicely in the complex, near the pool (nice pool with lots of seating) and gym and the parking spot was very close. The beach supplies were great! A cooler, chairs, boogie boards, toys, snorkels, masks, fins, towels... didn't need to bring anything in that arena.
Now some of the negatives:
The condo is need of some repair - broken blinds, worn out cookware, broken bathtub stoppers, broken towel rack. The elevator was out of service when we were there - so lugging coolers, strollers, kids and bags up the stairs was a little tricky.
I tend to be very particular, but the cleanliness was pretty sub-par. I'll elaborate directly with the owner - but nothing bad enough to dissuade me from staying again.
Finally, the lanai was nice, but sort of noisy with early morning (5:30am) golf course maintenance and the AC unit is on the lanai so it's noisy when you're out there and it's running.
All-in-all, we were very grateful for our stay. It was a great price and we would definitely stay there again.

Very nice home walking distance to shops, groceries, pool, lava, old pathways and beach (about 15 minute walk). Nice lanai where you can watch birds in the morning.

We love staying in the Waikoloa area and this condo is in the perfect location. It is a short walk to both the Queen and Kings shopping area, A beach and Lava Lava Beach Club. It is also well situated in the complex, 2nd floor unit accessible by an elevator, nice view of the golf course and close enough to the pool but not too close to hear a lot of noise. The owners provide guidebooks and a binder of suggestions for restaurants, beaches and other places to sight see. The kitchen is well equipped, the washer/dryer came in handy so we did not have to pack a lot of clothes. Thank you for providing laundry detergent and softener! Thank you also for the nice welcome note and box of chocolates, such a kind touch. It was so nice to have all the beach toys, boogie boards, snorkel equipment, beach towels , beach chairs and a cooler. My husband took advantage of the owners Gold membership at the Waikoloa golf course and was able to use the discount which came with the property. While the property was very clean, it is starting to show some wear due to the popularity of this condo. Overall , this place is excellent and I would recommend it to friends and family.

We had a wonderful stay. The condo was completely stocked with everything we needed, which made us feel right at home. The location was perfect for all of our island adventures and the kids enjoyed being so close to the neighborhood pool when we were staying in. We wouldn’t hesitate to book here again.

Everything about our stay was great! The condo was very nice and comfortable. Well stocked kitchen and with beach chairs, coolers, snorkel gear, etc. the location within Waikoloa Village was good too. Close to everything and nice walk on the trail with petroglyphs. We had friends renting condos within the same area and I think they were a little jealous of ours. Thank you Lydia. Also a nice treat to get chocolates when we arrived.

The condo is very accurate to the photos in the listing but it felt bigger than expected. We LOVED the jacuzzi pool after a long day of hiking/walking/sightseeing. Neighborhood is quiet and peaceful and the stars were so beautiful an bright every night. I highly recommend this condo!

We loved this property and location. We loved the book of favorite things to do around the Big island the family leaves for all vacationers and used it quite a bit. The property is wonderfully appointed and has alot of extras (beach chairs, towels, snorkeling gear, etc) to use during your vacation. We slept very well in the beds and went for alot of hikes and walks around the surrounding area. We would definitely stay here again.
