We love Napili Shores and have stayed here many times. But This room was the shabbiest, most poorly equipped we've ever experienced.
It felt abandoned by the owner. ITrip, the managers, were very responsive to our requests, though.

My wife and I were traveling for a week long vacation for our anniversary to Napili and this unit was perfect. It was the right size for two and the direct access to the grass, beach, and pool was amazing. The unit is small, but was clean. It’s not the most glamorous space, but it’s fine for our needs. They could provide more amenities like more toilet paper but other than that everything was great. I would stay in this unit again.

We had a great stay at Napili Shores. We particularly loved the close proximity to the beautiful Napili beach, which we walked to nearly every day. If you wanted to walk further or drive a few minutes, there were other wonderful beaches to check out. Renting and returning snorkel and beach gear was a piece of cake at the adjacent Water Works Sports. The king-sized bed was comfortable and the kitchen held many cooking necessities if you wanted to make your own meals. I knocked a star off because our key cards stopped working twice during our stay, once afterhours (at 8:30 pm) which necessitated walking back the main lobby to call security to let us back into our room. Though it wasn't very disruptive and we preferred to be on the ground level, we could hear the neighbors upstairs moving around.

Property is beautiful. You cannot say enough about location and layout. Room was clean and tidy. Although a little more light in the kitchen would be immensely helpful.
My only issue was the additional fees. The advertised rate was one thing. Then boom fees,fees,fees. Even 75.00 just to check in after all the other fees. Just give me an all in rate and call it good.
But overall very impressed. Bar was fun for Cico de Mayo happy hour. Pool was perfect temp and hot tub was great conversation. Will definitely stay again.

Fantastic place! Very clean, had everything we needed. Well appointed and comfortable. Best breakfast place steps away, as is the ocean beach. Grounds of the complex very well maintained and are full of beautiful plumeria trees. I could go on a on.. basically i highly recommend it. We plan to come back!

We had another great stay at Napili Shores. The condo was fun with a little ocean view. We enjoyed the ground floor unit for the ability to quickly walk to both pools, the Gazebo, the beach, etc. We'd definitely stay here again! G156 was well equipped with everything we needed.

My wife and I had a wonderful stay at Napili Shores. Communication and instructions from the host was great throughout our entire trip. But this rental is all about the location. Being able to walk out of the balcony straight to the best breakfast joint on the island or to two of the best snorkeling beaches is unbeatable.

Can’t beat the condo or it’s location! The Kiahuna Plantation is located right on sunny Poipu Beach (snorkeling, swimming, surfing and boogie boarding) and walking distance to great restaurants. The condo was perfect. Clean, comfortable with great furnishings, updated appliances and well-appointed for cooking including utinsels, pots and pans, PyrexTupperware, a blender and plenty of paper products. Extra beach chairs, and umbrella were also on hand. And with access to the Poipu Beach Athletic Club it can’t be beat! This has to be the top athletic club on the island! It includes a fantastic pool with kids slide, tennis, pickleball, basketball, shuffleboard, volleyball, open air weight room, yoga/stretch studio, and cardio facility. And if you need to chill there’s the Cabana with a tasty menu (lunch or dinner) and great drinks. Can’t say enough, this is a fantastic condo with access to just about everything! We’ll be back again soon!

This is a great property. Very quiet, easy walk to the water. Very clean room and easy parking. There’s 2 restaurants on the property with another a short walk away. For Napili this is AMAZING.

The resort was fine but there was construction going on we were not told of until a week before our stay and two days before we got to Maui we were told we would not have a cleaning service. Very disappointed considering we were there for 2 weeks.
If you are okay with paying top dollar for minimal services , go for it.

Beds were comfortable but windows in bathroom and next to sliding door did not open. $75 to get the key and parking pass after paying for the room seemed like an overcharge. Would stay in this room again but would have liked to know about the addition fee before booking the room.

We loved our stay at this condo!!! To walk out onto our patio every morning (and whenever we were at the condo) with the ocean view in the background of the beautiful resort grounds was stunning every single time!! The condo was very comfortable and with the cross breeze we never used the AC. It felt like paradise every day. We loved staying in this condo and can't wait to come back.
I didn't give it five stars only because there were no beach chairs when we arrived but I did call and asked for 2 and they were delivered the next day. One was in bad repair and fell apart more as the days went by. Also the Alexa-Xplorie Enabled Voice Assistant device never worked no matter how many times we unplugged/replugged everything as we were instructed. We did ask for this to be fixed but no one ever came as far as we know.

Overall it was good. We had some loud whistling noises one night and they said they would send someone, but I don’t think anyone ever came. I believe the sound was tied in to the outdoor sprinklers.

I can't say enough about this cute studio. It was the perfect place for my teen daughter and I. The condo has an ocean view right from the bed as the other reviews say. You can walk right out onto the lush grassy area and is just a few steps away from the beach access. I enjoyed watching the sunrise each morning and the sunset on Napili beach each evening that we were at that beach. The swimming at Napili was the easiest by far. The restaurant at Napili Shores was pretty good as well.
There is also shop to rent snorkel and boogie boards and beach gear which was super convenient and the owner and her daughter could not have been nicer and more accommodating. I highly recommend booking this place and doing it quickly if you are looking at this listing as I would imagine it books fast.
Tips: Bring coffee and a few spices from home if you plan on cooking. I brought coffee and did not really cook as I was on vacation. The studio is good for 2 and would be cramped for a family. It was perfect for my daughter and I. People complained about the bed. It was fine for us.The beach chairs were broken but we just rented some from the shop and didn't mind doing so. It was minimal and well worth it.
Overall we had a fantastic time and when we return to Maui this will be our go to place. Mahalo :)

Pros: Great location, comfortable bed and nice ocean view from the lanai. Cons: Property management only provides 4 towel sets for 2 people (2 each) and charges an extra $30 for extra towel sets. The other option is to do your own laundry at the on site coin operated facility and wash the towels if you plan to stay for more than a few days (laundry detergent is provided at the condo). We stayed here for 10 days so did more laundry than we would have liked for and expensive vacation. Same applies to toiletries, a small hotel glycerin soap bar is provided along with small shampoo and conditioner, fine for a few days but not for an extended stay, so bring your own or buy extra after you come. If you drink coffee, you will need to provide your own. Other than these inconveniences, the condo is comfortable and within close walking distance to a very nice beach.

I would give a full five stars if the bed had a good mattress and the building was more soundproof. The pricing must be based on the amazing location - you step out your door and you're in paradise, walking just a couple of minutes to look at the ocean, and one minute more to be on the beach of Napili Bay. The condo decor and facilities are outdated, but in a quaint holiday sort of way. It's kept in great condition and everything was perfectly clean. The only issue I experienced was with the quality of the bed. From the moment I sat on it I knew it was going to be problematic because the side of the mattress completed collapsed - no structure. I don't know if it was very old or never had any firmness to it, but I ended up with a sore back each morning and well into the day. The only good thing about reaching the end of my vacation was knowing I was going home to a good mattress. For the price you're charging, you should really provide a modern-day quality mattress. The other issue was thin walls and hearing any talking, laughing, moving around in the unit above and to the sides. Nothing the owners of this unit can do about that, but it's something to note for anyone thinking about staying here. It did not keep me up or ruin my stay or anything like that, but I was surprised by how much I could hear the other guests.
Overall, lovely place, and I would stay there again if I knew for sure that a new, quality mattress had been installed.

The property is clean, the kitchen well outfitted, supplies provided; an altogether nice welcoming and 10-day stay. The bed is good, water hot, view wonderful, we enjoyed the pools, beach and our neighbors. However, it needs another blanket (which we didn't ask for as we made do), the TV and cable connections are iffy (not a problem specific to this condo, it's prolly the cable company). We'd happily return both to this condo and the Napili Shores.

We had a great two week stay in this unit and loved it so much we booked the unit next door for same time next year. This unit wasn't available for the dates we needed unfortunately in 2023. The unit is just as advertised inside. Ground floor is the way to go here, walk right out to breakfast or the beach. We enjoyed socializing with our neighbors on either side which I think would be harder to do in an upstairs unit. There are two pools, one is more heated and with the hot tub which we used daily. For as many units are here we were surprised it wasn't more busy. We used the outdoor BBQ areas a few times and found them super clean and ready for use each day.
The unit itself has everything you need, kitchen basics, towels, sheets, etc. There is no housecleaning but that wasn't an issue for us. The king bed is comfy, the TV is good enough (we brought out own Apple TV which worked fine with wifi), internet was solid, ceiling fans helped greatly on hot days. Bathroom was tidy.
The best part of staying here, other than having an ocean view from bed (!), is that you can literally walk to many attractions. Steps from the unit is one of the best breakfast places in the area, the Gazebo restaurant. The bluff overlook on the grounds has primo views of Molokai and whale watching. Napili beach is a few minutes walk and is very popular. As you hike up the Kapalua trail north you find more beaches that are less crowded all the way up to Flemming Beach. Resorts line the beachfronts which the public can access so we made our way to visit the various hotel bars and restaurants at Joey's, Sea House, Montage, the Ritz, Kapalua, Merriman's. ALL of them within less than a 25 minute walk from the unit. The Kapalua trail is a great whale watching route that starts at Napili beach. We hiked and ran it often. The resort has it's own restaurant (5315?) which is ok in a pinch. There is also a rental shop for everything you need - boogie boards, SUPs, snorkel and misc swim gear, all very reasonable and laid back easy to rent.
If you're looking for less of a hotel-type experience, without room services per se but with incredible options to walk out your door to trails, beaches, bars & restaurants and nature, you can't go wrong here. We probably saved thousands over two weeks just by utilizing the nearby Napili Market for groceries, fresh fruit and some of the best poke we've had on the island. This place is truly conducive to extending your stay in Maui!
