We booked this place for the view and the lanai, and those certainly delivered. It was lovely to sit out, even in wind (blocked), and enjoy the waves and watching many turtles in the surf. The location was good, a short walk or drive to shopping, food, and beaches. The beach/water right in front wasn’t really swimmable. But we took a short walk south for that. The furniture and features were good. The welcome kit was nice. The kitchen could have used a couple more things for cooking. We unfortunately had to have the toilet fixed, which took a couple days with the property manager, but they got it done. There was not a cooler available, as listed. The chairs were great to have. We left behind a couple new noodles, hopefully someone adds an umbrella in the future! The building was decent. The pool is not heated, so a bit cold later in the day. And the hot tub was often broken. But the area is nice and close to the beach. It was nice to have concierge onsite; she was very nice and helpful. Overall, would highly recommend this condo to anyone visiting Maui.

Watching the ocean from your living room, balcony and bedroom is unforgettable experience. I have a decade experience swimming in Australian oceans and Portugal and Greece, nothing comes close to Hawaii. My spouse, her mother and I rented the unit via VRBO through Epic Real Estate company, so we have no idea who the real owner is, which makes it a potential problem. During our 12-day stay we had only two issues to report - Day 1 and Day 12. Day 1 is minor. Following 20-hour travel time to our destination (arrived at 1:00 AM, our "welcome package" was a 2-day supply of violate paper, one day coffee and dish soap. No water, no a little cheese, crackers, never mind the bottle of wine as we experienced in our dozens of previous rentals when dealing directly with owners. I thing there are too many "middlemen" here and we are here for a profit, first. The second issue is by far more serious. On the eve of our last day the plumbing between the garburator and sink was plugged in the elbow and water backed-up to the sink. reporting the issue to the Epic Realty the on-site maintenance person attempted to dissemble the drain pipe. There was a cracking noise and he left immediately turning the kitchen faucet off and telling us to wash dishes in bathroom sink. His exit was followed by an email from the Epic Realty Management of accusing us of causing an extensive damage to the garburator and plumbing by dumping oil and large pieces of food into it, and charged $600 for all repairs

Rating Details: The property manager was very unhelpful. The vacation rental was clean. I was more than happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The location of this unit is great, but the property is apparently constantly under construction. And the issues go beyond occasional noise—for example, during our stay we were suddenly informed that we would need to vacate the unit for essentially an entire day for "safety reasons." We reached out to management because this seemed extraordinary given that we were paying nearly $1000 a day for the use of a place that we suddenly weren't going to be allowed to access, let alone use. No one responded. We reached out again and after the third attempt finally got someone on the phone who said that, yes, we did have to get out for the day and that this was "normal" for that resort and no consideration would be given (aka, no rate discount, nothing, not even an apologetic note). This had also happened on the day we checked in, when we were told that we might not be able to access the unit at the usual check-in time, which we were fine with, even though it was a minor inconvenience. But when a place is being promoting for its lanai with great views, it's pretty uncool to make a practice of throwing paying guests out of it for lengthy periods of time with no warning.

Everything was as described. We enjoyed our time in the Condo. Although we didn’t cook our own food, the kitchen was well equipped. The unit was very clean. We definitely enjoyed our time on the balcony with the ocean only about 75 feet away. A lot Places to eat were all within walking distance. Will definitely rent again if we make it back to Maui.

Reviewer Comments: DO NOT RENT HERE!!!!!!!Being forced out of your rental by 7:00 am every morning until NO EARLIER than 3:00 pm because they were literally jackhammering the tile in the units both next door and above you? Having the noise level far above the level of an OSHA violation? Having Ms. Lopez, the personal property manager, lie to you over...and over...and over again? Have to say...not a fan! Is the unit lovely? But when I am forced to admit I spent $7,400.00 for a nightmare? Again, not a fan. Did Ms. Lopez, the rental agent (not the amazing people of Mahala), outright lie to us, lead us on with deceptive practices, and then give me a “zero” for “communication” when I was in constant contact with her? Oh, yes! “...that’s why it was discounted...” Nay, nay, little buffalo! This unit should have been deemed uninhabitable! And you knew that! I even told you that my beautiful daughter, Sara, had Williams Syndrome and could not handle loud, piercing noises. You ASSURED me there would be...let me quote you...” NO DIRECT IMPACT ON THIS UNIT.” Wow... Liar, liar, panties aflame. Shame on you! Shame on the new owners for allowing you to mislead us! Ask the GM for Mahala. They KNEW the noise was unbearable - THEY INFORMED YOU! They were shocked it was even rented out! You continued to lie, deceive, condescend, and mock us. Do not tell me about the “Mahalo Spirit” Princess. Do not pretend you did not call me on the 7th and lie to me about the work schedule. Do not ever again say you hope the workers, who did nothing wrong, would be visited by bad luck for just doing their job. You are not Hawaiian unless Kirkland, WA, has moved. I only hope those same bad vibes you wished on them follow you down the path. Final answer: REFUND MY MONEY!

This condo is in a great location and the view is amazing! Everything was clean and well maintained. The only drawback were the beds…they are extremely hard and not very comfortable. But, overall the rental was great.

Pretty condo with beautiful views and sunsets. Space was updated. We appreciated having the washer and dryer. We were a group of 6 and it seemed more catered for a group of 4. 6 was pushing the limit. Basic supplies like garbage bags, shampoo, and toilet paper were sparse and for the nightly price should have been more readily available.
