Fully stocked with everything. Beach equipment, coffee maker, Keurig, bathroom essentials, binoculars, TV with mirroring, even after sun care. So close to the water it appears the building is in the ocean. See turtles and coral reef by looking down. Walk to Dukes in 1 minute. The grills are huge and immaculate! Cannot beat the safe quiet location furthest back end of the property. Plenty of coffee shops, restaurants, etc within walking or driving distance. Perfection vacation. Host went out of their way to make sure we had a comfortable stay. Views were beautiful beyond words. 3 great restaurants and fabulous snorkeling a short walk (seconds) from your door. Sleeping with the sounds of crashing waves, best therapy ever. We could not have picked a more perfect place to stay in Maui. The condo was perfectly situated on a beach. Sound of the waves forced us to relax and rejuvenate. From the condo we watched whales play, turtles swim and monk seals sunbathe. Highly recommended!

After leaving our rental in Wailea due to unexpected construction right next to our unit, we were all tired, grumpy and not happy about losing a day of our vacation to move somewhere else. The minute we walked into Heather’s beautiful unit, we left the bad vibes behind. The views and sound of the waves are fantastic. You can’t get much closer to the ocean. The kitchen is well stocked. The king bed was comfy. The single beds not as comfy as the king that had the memory foam. Pool area was on the small side, but clean and just the right temperature. It was so nice to not have to go far to get to the beach! Would definitely stay here again! Thank-you Heather and Charles for being so accommodating.

My family is always excited about a trip to any of the Hawaiian islands but this location might be our favorite. The condo was perfect for my family of 4 (16 & 11 y/o kids). The condo has the Hawaiian vibe, spacious, modern and clean. We shockingly spent more time in the 2 captains chairs than the balcony. The floor to ceiling windows set the tone of comfort and relaxation. Much to our surprise the whale watching was amazing. It was so great from the condo, it prompted us to book a formal whale watching tour and ultimately we had way more sightings from the condo!
Heather and Charles were so delightful, informative and helpful. We will definitely be back!

Most beautiful, ocean front, relaxing place we have ever stayed in Maui. The almost 360degree views cannot be beat. It has everything you need & more. Decor is Tommy Bahama tasteful & comfortable. Formal dining table. A closet full of beach toys & equipment. 2 master suites with lux bedding, walk-in showers stocked with lux items. A full kitchen & subzero refrigerator ice & filtered water. New washer/dryer. You will need for nothing and never want to leave. We can’t wait to return to this Hawaiian paradise. It’s the best place we have ever stayed in over 40 years.

This condo is absolutely amazing with wall to wall windows to the ocean and a balcony. We saw whales beaching and turtles swimming below. It’s very spacious and comfortable for our family of 4, including 2 teenage boys. The beach is choppy, so we found another beach to go into the water, but nothing beats the view and the ocean sound. Very relaxing and enjoyable, we didn’t want to leave! The kitchen was great with large fridge and filtered water and ice. 2 clean bathrooms, plenty of towels and beach chairs. There were other thoughtful details, like the binoculars, books, magazines, helpful guide to the island, swivel chairs to enjoy the view, comfortable couch, crisp cotton sheets, hand soap and shampoo in both bathrooms. It was obvious the owners are very the thoughtful and intentional to make the stay as comfortable as possible. It was a just a pleasure and very relaxing vacation, but boy, that view! Book it, you will not regret it!

We had an amazing stay! Wonderful view (it's a wow!), beautiful decor, and clean. The condo is well stocked in the kitchen and the chairs/cooler/toys were great for our daily visits to the various beaches on Maui. Heather provided very helpful information in advance to prepare for our trip. This was our first vacation to Maui and it was a dream trip for our family - with two adult children. Everything about this property was amazing. The owner, Heather was so informative about many questions that I had prior to our arrival. She put me in contact with booking agents for tours and activities well in advance of our arrival so we had everything arranged. The condo is exactly as described in the description and was so nice! There is so much to say about this place....it is simply a dream condo. With panoramic views from the mountains to the Sea you really cant stop looking out the window. They owners leave the place fully equipped for cooking. The sub zero fridge provide ice and filtered water. The sound of the ocean fills your bedroom at night. The beach is left of the building and great for long walks....Also very close to Dukes restaurant which is delicious. Within a 5 min walk, you have a grocery store for all your needs.

I’ve been to the islands more than 20 times and this is the best accommodation I’ve ever had. (Including 5 star hotels) Its been recently remodeled and the Tommy Bahama decor made for a pleasant and comfortable experience. The west and south views were spectacular and the property is literally 30 yards from the ocean. To top things off the owner is very pleasant and accommodating. If you have choices take this one and you will not be disappointed.

I have stayed at this amazing place about 8 times and you can not begin to imagine the view that you have in front of you! You have the best oceanfront view I believe there is…!! I come to see the whales and you have a front roll seat with all of the spouts, fins, and tails!! It truly is beyond special!
The unit is decorated beautifully and everything is there for you to have a special time. There is a closet that has a good share of beach items that you might need!
Mahana is next to the beach walk heading down to Kaanapali passing Duke’s restaurant on the way. The location is perfect - close to Times Market got groceries.
Heather is very attentive and is quick to address any issues that might arise. It truly is a very special place!

Where do I start? I have to admit I was somewhat hesitant to expose this gem, but in the spirit of Ohana, here we go.
The online listing is 100¬curate and Heather is a super, super host. Very easy and prompt communication made the entire process a breeze.
The unit was the cleanest of any unit we’ve ever stayed in. The attention to cleaning detail was present upon entering. The primary room was amazing with views to the islands and the black out shades were a great touch the days we slept in. The secondary room has great views of the mountains and the coastline. We used the kitchen for breakfast and snacks as we ordered dinner in or went out. However, it was well stocked.
This was our first stay on this side of the island as we’ve previously stayed in Wailea. We very much enjoyed the breezes which made sitting on the beach or by the pool very enjoyable. I also cycled the west Maui loop and the proximity to bike rental was great. We also had the pleasure of meeting a part time resident in the building who had a great recommendation for a spot to eat in Naili Bay.
Honestly, I could go on and on. The location and Heather make this a must book spot. It is truly an amazing value.

Our family of 4 had a wonderful stay in this beautiful condo. The views from this condo are breathtaking. Loved waking up each morning seeing the beautiful ocean and loved watching the beautiful sunset each night.
The place is spacious and had everything we needed, just needed to pick up some groceries and we were set. My family and I were very comfortable. Even my teenagers (13 & 15) loved staying here, they both gave 2 thumbs up and not their usual “meh” response to everything.
Loved that we were so close to the beach and we were able to see sea turtles. It was also great that we can walk to Duke’s and have lunch or dinner when we didn’t want to cook.
Heather, the owner, was great. Responds quickly to any questions I had. And thanks to her detailed info on things to do and restaurant recommendations.
This was one of the best relaxing vacations we’ve had in a long time.

This was amazing amazing stay at Maui. The location was perfect near to their best sea shore and Duke's beach house restaurant. Place was pristine and communication from Heather was great. I would give her 5.000000000000 stars. Every single details, every single needs, are available in-house to use without spending money for it. We loved local fruits and it was right across the street!!! Sea is at your door steps and 9th floor makes it perfect to see 360 degrees for mountains, sea, trees and pools!! We can't wait to visit Maui and stay here again....

The Mahana was a wonderful vacation haven, the unit was beautifully decorated and very clean. The views from the unit were breathtaking - I could never tire of looking at the beautiful blue ocean or the spectacular sunsets each evening. I appreciated the recommendations Heather provided - we managed to experience most of them…my favorite was Makena beach, I felt like I could reach out and touch Lanai. It was a fabulous vacation and staying at the Mahana provided us a great central location with plenty of comfortable space for my family.

This is a beautiful condo with amazing views. We saw lots of sea life while looking out the windows. It was just an elevator ride to walk out on to the beach. Everything was clean and Heather was easy to get in touch with. It's well situated being close to Lahaina and lots of great restaurants.
The only complaint I might have is that the countertops in the kitchen and bathroom were high quality that can be damaged if water stays long on the surface. You are asked to wipe it continually. And although I appreciate the attention to using high-quality materials, I don't want to think of those kinds of things while on vacation. It definitely wouldn't stop me from staying there again though. Loved it overall!

The pictures do not do this property justice. This was our 5th trip to Maui, all perfectly timed during whale season. We’ve stayed all over the island but this condo cannot be beat. I can’t imagine we’ll ever want to stay anywhere else. From our balcony, we saw hundreds of whales breaching and flapping, so many turtles and fish, and even an eel!
Heather was a total gem and didn’t even mind my texting her questions that she’d already answered in the check-in paperwork we received.
I can’t say enough wonderful things about this property and I can’t wait for us to come back. Pure magic is right.

Outstanding unit. Totally enjoyed the stay with only one issue. The extreme noise from the unexpected repair work on the building caused us to leave the unit for several hours in each of three days. This was the perfect place for our stay on Maui! We came to Maui this time of year specifically to see whales and we sure did!! From the huge window and balcony on the 9th floor you have a perfect spot to watch non-stop action!! Words can not describe how happy we were. The condo had everything and more for us! Really love having the coolers for packing picnics on the road to Hana. The food truck park nearby was convenient as well. The owners were easy to deal with and offered a ton of great ideas for things to do!!

This was my family's 3rd time at the Mahana. First time renting a 2 bed/2 bathroom as we have 2 children. Heather had wonderful communication before our trip as the construction at the Mahana was delayed and would continue during our stay. When we arrived we saw the construction equipment and it was visible on the hallway/walkway to the front door. But it was not disruptive during our stay and we don't look much at the walkway near the front door.
The condo was beautiful, nicely decorated and furnished. The kitchen was well equipped and had plenty of cooking utensils, pots, pans and glasses/cups to use. Plenty of space in the living room and dining area. The main bedroom bed was very comfortable and laid out well. Very nice furniture. The main bathroom had a great, custom large shower. The 2nd bedroom was good size for both of my sons with very nice full bathroom. That room had great windows with mountain views. Having the end unit with the extra windows was wonderful. Full ocean and beach views almost everywhere you looked. The large window near the kitchen was so nice too, lots of natural light. Nice TVs in all rooms with full cable line up.
Natural stone countertops in kitchen and bathroom. Custom cabinets too. Very nice upgraded unit, you won't be disappointed! We enjoyed many family activities as it was my 8 year old son's first trip to Maui. We enjoyed a Luau, parasailed at Kaanapali beach, drove to the blowhole past Kapalua, went on the Atlantis submarine in Lahaina, we enjoyed the food trucks very near the condo, we used the BBQ's one night also. I cannot explain the awe I felt literally every morning when I walked out into the living area and got to see the view from this place. I would just stand there in front of the giant windows looking over the water and drink my coffee.
If you are planning on experiencing Maui and actually going to different beaches, attractions, restaurants, etc, you should ABSOLUTELY stay in this condo. It does have a nice pool and hot tub, but the pools at the resorts are on a totally different level. We aren't that kind of family and we would rather spend our time in and around Maui rather than at the pool... no judgement to anyone here
That said, I cannot say enough good about this place. It is exceptionally decorated, amazing amazing amazing views, great furniture, owners were delightful, basically literally on top of the beach, comfortable beds and linens, and a closet full of beach stuff that you will absolutely need but most likely not be able to bring. BTW, if you want the sandals in there, that was my donation, they're all yours!!! =) Seriously, this closet was SUPER helpful.
If I could go back to Maui regularly I'd gladly stay here again and again. Well worth it!

Our stay was truly magical. As our kids are getting to the age where they are beginning their own lives, we wanted a trip that we all could enjoy as a family. This place did the trick! We enjoyed the entire experience and the home was the icing on the cake. It was clean and modern, styled to the max with every amenity we could ever ask for in one place. It was centrally located with lots of closely restaurants and food trucks. It was right on the beach. Parking was easy. Heather has every item you could ever need for beach days. The kitchen is amazing. The beds were so comfortable. But above all else....the view is breathtaking. I found myself looking out the windows most of the time we were in the unit. We truly enjoyed ourselves.
The only drawback was the construction going on during our stay and the lanai view was somewhat affected. We were gone most of the daytimes, so it wasn't too big of a problem.
Heather was a dream to work with and really professional. I will be recommending her place to all my friends. You will not be disappointed if you decide to stay here, too.

Our stay at Heather's VRBO was more than perfect. Condo has the best views - trust me, pictures given here do not do justice to this beauty. We are really thankful to the host for making this one of our most memorable stay. Condo has views from every window around, it's right on the lovely Kaanapali beach. Once we entered this place everyone in family just wanted to stay indoors.. Heather has furnished it so well and each room looks like it has been showcased in some magazine. Awesome choice of colors and simply put I wish I had such condo of my own :) I did not want to leave the place ever LOL.
Alright, so facilities at building were A grade - check-in was simple, Heather was in touch over VRBO chat, Buildings are located in famous Kaanapali area and super accessible from shops, restaurants etc. Giant Monkey pod trees covered whole parking lot with shade and palm trees as tall as 9th floor - made this place a canopy top experience. There was a concierge downstairs for any information required ... There is a lovely swimming pool and jacuzzi facing sea downstairs which we enjoyed every evening after watching sunset. Apartment has everything one can need - kitchen is well equipped.. We brought fresh fruits from road fruit-stands and ate after morning coffee sitting in Balcony. There is 180 degree view of turquois beach and 2 gorgeous islands of Lanai and Molokai with cloud forming over top every evening. We also saw a large rainbow between 2 islands making it picture perfect on last day. We went to sleep listening to ocean waves every night and woke up with view of calm ocean. We saw sunset from the lanai or went downstairs on the beach to celebrate evening view.. we saw turtles and 2 small reef sharks (not a threat to human) around reef at late evening. There is wonderful resort next door so crowd was decent and many children and young couples were seen on the beach. Snorkeling opportunities were right at the doorstep and we made the best of our time.
Black Rock beach is 5 minute drive away, one can even walk to it using beach since it is visible from even home. We booked paddle board lesson, surfing lesson at Kaanapali beach hotel - for really good price and they provided fun coach for activities. Snorkeling at Black Rock beach was an experience - we saw large turtles swimming around us and colorful fishes and cliff jumpers.
We loved our stay and would definitely go again and stay here.

The first thing you will notice is the views - they are truly extraordinary and the photos online don't even do them justice! The corner unit really maximizes the vistas from many angles and the unit was full of light all day. Turtles were often seen swimming in the shallows just below us. I can only imagine this place during whale season!
The condo itself is in excellent condition and is provisioned with everything you can think of to be comfortable and efficient. Heather was quick to respond to any questions prior to our visit and was an excellent host. We would definitely return to this property.

The entire experience from placing the order to check out was seemless, easy and far beyond better than any other vacation rental we’ve enjoyed. The condo is a slice of heaven, exactly as advertised, and so beautiful it almost made it hard to want to leave for our excursions! It’s well equipped, clean, comfortable and beautifully and thoughtfully designed and decorated. Although the bathroom is a little small and there is no tub, it didn’t matter. The condo has a very nice hottub and it is all steps away from the ocean. Heather was so nice and attentive to our questions and even had batteries delivered to us to operate the remote control fans despite my offer to replace them. We look forward to becoming regulars although it’s clear this is a very popular place so we may have to wait a while for another vacancy! Mahalo!!!

Wow, what can I say about the condo. and Maui in general. We have visited a lot of islands including Grand Cayman, Turks & Caicos, St. Croix and others and Maui has to be at the top of our list. The different terrain, luxury, food, sites and sounds are unrivaled!!!
First the condo. Heather was excellent to deal with and takes great pride in providing a top notch accommodation/condo. The furniture, bedding, cabinetry, counters, etc... were all top notch and what you would find in a 5-Star resort. In addition, had all the other details you would hope to find from bottle openers, to small and large coolers to use at the beach, to beach chairs, to beach toys and ball, etc.... The only thing we ended up buying were a few groceries for the week. The location along the boardwalk was great for morning strolls as well as being on the beach was awesome.
Location of the condo. We had never visited Maui, but loved that part of the island and were literally in Lahaina (about 15 minutes away) every day to go the Marina, awesome restaurants, etc.... In addition, you are just 15 minutes the other way to a deserted part of the island which we loved to explore.
Favorite restaurants: Duke's, Fleetwood in Lahina, Paia Fish Market in Lahina for lunch, Longhi's in Lahina for breakfast, Monkeypod, Pacific'O Lahina for dinner, Bad Ass Coffee for coffee and many others.
Favorite activities: Road to Hana, Helicopter over Maui with Hawaii Helicopter, many beaches to snorkel and see sea turtles, small boat to Whale Watch, walking along the boardwalk, exploring with Jeep Wrangler (recommend) on the roads.
We had an absolute blast and would recommend the condo. and Maui big time!

Often web photographs, even beautiful ones taken at just the right moment, do not fully describe the condo itself, whether that be good or bad. However, in this case, not only were the web photos beautiful but the condo itself was even more spectacular. We found the location, the layout, the comfort and the surrounding environment to be perfect. Shopping is nearby, the waves flowing on the sandy beach just below the open balcony is breathtaking, and the condo is fully stocked with needed items. As with most of you, my wife and I have stayed in many condos over the years; some have been good, some not so good. This specific condo was as good or better than the best we previously experienced. As an added plus, the owner was friendly and personable, and treated us as true guests in her home. She is unquestionably the easiest person we have worked with on any condo rental. The photos are great but, believe me, the actual experience is even more amazing. As you can tell, I highly recommend this oceanfront condo on Maui.

This condo has been beautifully renovated. It is well appointed, comfortable, quiet, and has spectacular views. A great place to relax and unwind. We love staying at the Mahana and I have to say this property has it all. Furniture is comfortable. I liked the fact that the owners had installed shades in the living room that blocked the afternoon sun but didn't obstruct the entire view out the windows. I know the Mahana gets the afternoon sun and you need to shut the window coverings or it can get very warm. We spent a lot of time watching the whales, turtles and even saw an endangered Monk Seal on this trip from the condo. There are hair dryers and flat irons in the bathroom. The walk-in showers are nice. Kitchen is well equipped. Easy access to the boardwalk for strolling along the beachfront. I would definitely stay here again!

This is my fourth stay at this beautiful condo and as usual, I can't begin to express in words how wonderful it is to stay here! The view when you walk in the living room is superb - words just can't tell you how beautiful the panorama is in front of you! I come to see the whales every year and there were so many of them this year!! You are able to enjoy them sitting right here!
The condo has everything you will need and more. They have a closet filled with beach chairs, tennis equipment, coolers, etc. Oh, beach towels - pretty much everything you might need for your adventures.
Heather is so nice and very kind to work with! She does everything she can possibly do to make your vacation an ideal one.
The location is perfect! You are close to Lahaina, Napili, Whaler's Village, pretty much everything is near by.
I can't wait until next year! Thank you, Heather, for sharing this special place!

The property was spotless, well appointed, had everything you needed. The whale watching and turtles right under our balcony were fantastic! We would come back and not change a thing!!
We loved having the resorts, boardwalk activity, and Dukes right next door but no noise! What a great way to relax and unwind! Proximity to other areas of the island and driving to excursions was also easy and not complicated.

My husband and I recently experienced a spectacular twelve night stay at #919 at the Mahana. Having stayed at the Mahana about three years ago for a week, we were familiar with the area and knew we loved the location due to it's oceanfront units, easy walking distance to shopping, restaurants, bars, urgent care, (unfortunately had to try that out too), and fun! Not knowing when we would return, I "shopped" for units to rent for another visit and ran across this corner unit and put it on my "wish list". We felt so lucky that it was available when our grandson announced he was going to be married on Maui in December.
The photos online are exactly as the unit appears, though I would have to say that they probably don't quite due it justice. The views are absolutely amazing, not to mention all the comforts and conveniences provided. One of my favorites was the full size, awesome, makeup mirror. I had purchased a new travel one to bring along.....not necessary! Though there was just the two of us, it was great to have the two full bathrooms.
My favorite spot was by the breakfast bar each morning, drinking my coffee and watching all the people on the Boardwalk as well as the scenic ocean shores.
From start to finish, and everywhere in between, Heather was awesome! The booking was so simple and easy as was the payment process and the refund of the damage deposit. We had a small issue due to a power outage and she was immediately available to help us resolve the problem and again went above and beyond our expectations.
If you are thinking about this unit, don' t think too long. The downside to this unit is that you will be forever "spoiled" once you have experienced the magic of #919!

Well documented in other reviews but the views from this condo are simply stunning – I’d note that they are also unique to other locations. The Mahana benefits from literally being on top of the ocean (vs. set back like nearly all others) and this condo is nine floors up. Result is gorgeous views of the islands across the channel, sunsets, beautiful and endless ocean and if you are there right time of year the whales literally dancing in front of you. Almost daily they’d be doing flips etc. its pretty amazing to see. I’d add that the corner unit also provides what I think is a really cool view down the entire beach with trees etc. The boardwalk effectively starts in front of you so you get to see down the whole beach.
Condo is very well appointed, furnished etc. Everything you could ever need or ask for. In particular an exceptionally well stocked beach closet (snorkel gear, all types of chairs, etc.) makes beach trips a joy. Beautiful kitchen, incredibly comfortable beds, nice shower. Everything well stocked and ready to roll. There was thought put in to have everything here you might need – was impressive. Kudos and mahalo.
Location of the Mahana I would suggest is ideal if you are coming to Kaanapali. It is walking distance to several keys – Times Grocery (best in area), Dukes Restaurant, boardwalk, and the fish market (best Ahi sandwich I have ever had). But importantly (for us anyway) it’s a chill place so not the noise, waits for grill etc. that you may get at other places in this area that have too many rooms compared to resources they offer. I loved that you can get a pool chair easily, never feel like there is mess all around in common areas etc. and just relax in a sweet local. Note the pool is normal sized and not a water park – go next door for that.
Net is our experience met and even exceeded the high expectations set from all the reviews. Worth the splurge and hard to imagine that it disappoints.

We recently returned from our Maui trip and what a blast! What made it all the more enjoyable was the condo. Fantastic views, quiet area and the location was perfect. Walk outside the hotel and snorkeling is out in front of your door. The condo had everything we needed right down to the extra beach gear. Clean pool, well maintained landscaping and a friendly staff made it comfortable for our family from day one. I would highly recommend this condo, in fact we will be booking it for next year. Did I mention the incredible view from the living room? You have to see it to believe it.

The pictures of this condo and view were fantastic. Upon entry the only words were wow. The condo itself is very spacious and very nicely appointed. But it is the view that steals the show. The complex is very quiet and we heard the gentle rolling of the waves as we laid down to sleep. The location is fantastic and I could not imagine wanting to stay anywhere else. The owner was easy to deal with and communicated well.

My husband and I stayed at this condo for 2 weeks and we cannot say enough great things. The unit was recently remodeled with a very elegant and modern tropical theme. The furniture was comfortable and the master bedroom bed was brand new with lots of linens and extra pillows. The lanai furniture was very nice as well and we had our breakfast there every morning. You are literally 30 feet from the ocean and can feel all the ocean breezes. We even saw a group of spinner dolphins offshore! This was all great but what puts this unit over the top is the hallway window, floor to ceiling window by the dining area, and the huge picture window behind the couch which lets you not only see the ocean but down the whole beach as well. You can even see to Black Rock! It really is a WOW view. The kitchen is well stocked with everything you might need. The owners have also provided tons of beach gear with coolers, chairs, and big lush beach towels that make going to the beach or pool a breeze. The owners are very nice, very responsive to emails/calls, and really go out of the way to make sure everything is taken care of. We would recommend this unit to anyone and hope to stay here again the next time we are in Maui.
