Plenty of fine dining and family-friendly restaurants are within walking distance from the Sands of Kahana. If you prefer a stay-at-home meal, BBQ right on onsite or enjoy our fully-equipped kitchen with all the amenities right at your fingertips. The Beach House on property serves breakfast, lunch and dinner along with a great Happy Hour! In less than a 5minute walk, enjoy Maui Brewing Company’s locally made beer (and rootbeer!) along with a fantastic menu. Dollies Pub and Café and Miso Phat are just across the street and also offer tasty cuisine. For convenience, there are two stores nearby with easy grab-and-go deli items and anything you might need without having to go to a larger busy grocery store.

Your condominium will be supplied with beach towels. It will not however be stocked with beach equipment. Too often items break or go missing and it is not feasible to track and replace the items. Sullivan Properties, Inc firmly believes in recycling & lowering the carbon footprint we leave on this planet! If items are purchased or acquired by guests and are still in good condition, we are happy to leave them in the unit for others to enjoy. If they are extremely dirty or broken, we must toss them out. There are places nearby that rent beach amenities – your property might also have an onsite rental shack. Most of the rental places nearby offer daily or weekly rates. Please note, we are not endorsing these companies simply providing the more popular options in the area : Snorkel Bobs in the Kahana Gateway Center, Boss Frogs in the Napili Plaza and Boss Frogs in Kahana Manor. We (4 adults and 2 seniors) had a terrific stay at Sands of Kahana 366. The kitchen was huge and well-stocked with pans, kettle, drip coffee machine, toaster, toaster oven, dishwasher, plates, cutlery, the pantry even had a few spices. The washer/dryer was a life saver, very convenient. Being on the 6th floor meant we could take the stairs too if the elevator took some time (in the mornings, the cleaning staff use the same elevator). If you've booked a longer (7 night stay) there is no cleaning service however, they provided a lot of of bath, hand and face towels as well as beach towels (perhaps could use more kitchen towels) The AC didn't work very well for us, but we managed with the fans and breeze. We were worried when we read in the house manual that there may be bugs/cockroaches, but we didn't see any in the unit itself, just one in the elevator. The pool, the beach, the BBQ's were all great! We saw a nesting turtle on the beach as well as turtles in the water close to shore. Parking wasn't a problem, and the location was convenient to gas stations and the highway. Shower/water pressure was very good. There were nice views from every room and the condo had a lovely layout which felt private enough for everyone. Overall a very comfortable stay; would highly recommend it!

Building is a little over 40 years old. Our unit had a lot of new renovations. Kitchen primarily. Ocean front. Great views. Saw whales, turtles and marvelous sunsets from lanai. Stayed a month and adult children and spouses joined for various amounts of time. Did not have a car whole time but bus was convenient to use. Everyone was happy with the condo. Lucked out. Had maybe 5 minutes of rain the whole month.

I brought the kids up for a family ski weekend, and we really enjoyed our stay. The property is on a hill overlooking a beautiful valley. Small pond, stream running thru, multiple firepits, and walking trail. The house is pretty basic, but lots of room. The pictures and description were accurate. Our host bent over backward for us when we forgot some things and was able to help out.

This place was great. It had beautiful views, was very clean, and in a great location. The price was much better the big name resorts. The rooms were very spacious . I was happily surprised to find a pack n play in one of the closets as I was planning to rent a crib which was over $100 for the week. My only complaints would be that the building and bathrooms were a little dated and there was not much shade outside . People were sitting shoulder to shoulder in lounge chairs under the tree by the beach area. Overall, I would definitely book again. We really enjoyed watching turtles and windsurfers from the balcony.

Our family of 6 stayed here and we loved every minute. The place is really roomy and provides a fantastic floor plan for larger groups. The view from the balcony can’t be beat to view the sunsets. Parking is plentiful and the property is well maintained. This unit is on the 6th floor and has 2 sets of sliding doors that can be opened for a very open feel with great ocean breezes! We were worried about privacy for the master bedroom because the photos did not show the fold out doors that provide complete privacy. Turns out- they are easy to pull out and gave us a very private suite. The beds and furniture were all nice and comfy. The kitchen was well stocked with plates, utensils and cooking supplies to make it easy on you to prepare meals. The property manager checked with us several times to ensure we knew where to go for check in. Book this place- you’ll be glad you did!!

Cant wait for next year. Unit 366 has great views of the beach and mountains. There were a couple of very insignificant issues on arrival that were quickly forgotten as soon as we stepped out onto the balcony to experience the million dollar view. The staff at Sullivan Properties was great as we received communication from them leading up to our trip and while we were there. Very professional!! Snorkeling off the properties beach was great with turtles every day.

It had been updated in places and served our 4 adults, 2 children perfectly. The location is perfect also. Right on the beach with views of the beach and both pools. The owners left beach equipment (chairs and fun beach balls, etc.) and there were plenty of beach towels available for us. Easy check in and check out. We enjoyed the restaurant - really good food.

Reviewer Comments: Although I had originally reserved unit 356 based on the photos and description, when I arrived I was assigned unit 366 instead--one story higher. I was suspicious, but this unit was just as nicely appointed as the other, and we had no issues. It was super clean, the master was HUGE, and the views were stunning. The beach is really nice, the kids liked the pool as well. My son and I played tennis quite a few times, but the courts need to be renovated as the cracks gave us some problems. Air conditioning worked great. All in all this was a great stay at a very nice vacation home--I would rent it again!

Condo is very dated and could use some newer furnishings and touch ups. Drywall patches were done here and there but never finished. The sliding doors don't latch - at all- and gaps between the jamb and door to the point you can see into the master shower/toilet area when the door is fully closed. It's like someone scabbed on the sliding doors after the fact but they don't fit well at all and again, don't latch. Bedding is older style and the 2 beds in the guest bedroom looked even narrower than standard single beds...tiny. Had one incident with neighbors directly above jamming on tunes to a crazy volume and we had to call security. 45 minutes later the music was still blaring so we called front desk again and asked and were told security went up and knocked on the door but no one answered so they left...duh! Ya supposed they didn't answer 'cuz the music was TOO F'ing loud? But the grounds are well kept and bbq grills were spotless each morning and we saw security guys walking around each evening and felt safe which was a big plus. We'd stay at this complex again but probably not this unit.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had a great time in the Sullivan Condo on Maui! We were in unit 366 – Bldg. 3, 6th Floor, 6th unit = 366 with a direct ocean view. The resort grounds were impeccably maintained and all of the staff we met were very helpful. I would rate our experience at 96% positive – so 4.8 out of 5 stars. Four of us shared the clean, spacious 3 bedroom unit on the 6th floor with 180+ degree views of the ocean, Lanai, Molokai and Kahoolawe islands. We probably saw about 100 whales during our 6 day stay. Spectacular sunsets daily (it’s paradise, right?), beautiful early March weather, a water temp around 78 degrees that surprised me, and a very central location on the Lahaina side. We were 2 couples over 65 who were enjoying a vacation, some whale-watching (saw lots), some walking/hiking experiences (had lots of really good experiences everywhere we went) and we’re all “foodies”. Review of the unit: There are 2 full-sized and spacious Master Bedroom Suites with attached Master Baths and a 3rd roomy bedroom with 2 twin beds. The kitchen was very spacious and allowed 3 people to move around and prep meals without any issues. There were several spices provided or left from other guests, so you’ll almost anyone would typically use for meals.The living room and dining area – located between the kitchen and outer wall were (again) spacious and comfortable.The lanai was comfortable and provided great views of the beach, the pool area, the Beach House Bar & Grill restaurant and the other 3 buildings in the complex. Additionally, there is a closet full of beach chairs, boogie boards, noodles, golf clubs, etc. We had 2 very minor issues: The dishwasher and tripping on the “air door” track. Otherwise, I would rate our experience as 5 out of 5.The Beach House Bar & Grill restaurant was good (not great) and the happy hour drinks were watered do

VRBO 366 was perfect for our first trip to Maui! So much room to spread out in and the kitchen was up to date. We throughly enjoyed the patio at sunrise and sunset! Thank you for have toys for the beach available to us as they definitely got used! We really don't want to leave!!
