This unit had everything we needed (although a beach umbrella would have been marvelous!) to enjoy the beach, pool, and grilling "at home." The lanai has a great view and wicker furniture where we enjoyed watching the sunrise over breakfast, and sunset over dinner. This condo is quite comfortable and had plenty of beach towels and kitchen stuff so we really felt at home. We can't wait to come back!

The view from the bedroom, living room and balcony is the best part. It's so conveniently located to such a beautiful beach. I love being able to walk right out to the beach and have our own grassy area to watch the nightly sunsets. Parking is also really convenient and right outside the entrance

Location was perfect and the view was amazing!
The things I expect to be better: sofa bed is old and very uncomfortable, sofa chairs were old and dirty, cookware could be nicer.
There was less paper products than it was expected and was supposed to be supplied.
Other than that, it was a great stay.

We have stayed at several mana kai units and this is the worst. Owner is clearly trying to keep constant bookings and not fix various very fixable issues. Sliding doors nog working or off rails, toilet that is loose and rocks, living room chairs that are very dirty and should have been cleaned or replaced a long time ago. Plus very limited utensils and dishes. We love the location and but not this unit!

The unit was nice and a great location (better that the 2 stars given; would be 4) . Very much enjoyed the stay until the end. Here is where the 2 star rating comes in. We paid for a late checkout however the code stopped working before that checkout time. No one answered the “emergency” phone number so left 2 messages that we were locked out. 20-25 minutes later we got a call back, they then “researched” and another 15+ minutes later we finally got a new code and got in approximately 40 minutes after our original attempt to get in. This was now 35 minutes before we were supposed to checkout. Vacasa employees then start knocking on the door at 1:57pm for the 2pm late checkout. They were on the phone with another Vacasa employee who telling them to tell us we have to leave.
A very disappointing end to an otherwise lovely time.

Great property right on one of the best beaches, great view from unit. We have stayed here many times in different units but they should let you know that the restaurant and deli/sundry store on property is closed for remodeling. Also the W/D is not private but each floor has a common one to for use. The unit is nice except for a few minor details. The bed frame/headboard needs to be replaced, its covering is ripped/torn. Also the kitchen has zero spices, not even salt & pepper. So if you are cooking at all buy everything you need.

This unit has all you need, comfy bed, pull out sofa, nice appliances including a dishwasher. It also had small appliances like blender, toaster, coffee maker. Vacasa provided a small welcome bag filled with goodies, which was very nice. It was also a cooler bag which helped us ensure cool hydration (beer, white claws) at the beach. What really matters though is location. Being able to open the doors and listen to the waves crash all night and roosters crow in the morning was terrific. Snorkelling out front, we saw turtles every day, a variety of fish, and a small octopus. In the distance we were lucky enough to see a few whales breach the surface. It is a nice walk (20 mins) to the general store, shave ice place, and Southshore Grindz. Access to/from the Piilani Hwy is easy. Would love to stay here again!

Mana Kai has one of most beautiful views from the condo. With larger glass sliders facing the ocean it feels like there is nothing between you and the ocean. We slept each night with the door’s open listening to the sounds of the ocean. The unit is steps away from The most gorgeous beach with access to everything. Kayaking Rentals onsite, beach gear rentals onsite, good snorkeling and amazing swimming areas. The beach was our favorite place during our well stay. This was our second time staying at the mana Kai and we will come again!

Great views from the balcony. People walking the beach, with their dogs, kids playing in the surf. What more could you want?
