The property was as advertised and worked out well for our small family. There was some helpful beach equipment and all we needed (plus more) in the well equipped kitchen. We were worried about the lack of AC but the breeze and fans were sufficient. Cary was responsive and helpful.

The location was perfect for all North Shore activities. The unit was very clean and comfortable. The Cliffs facility is excellent. The owner is very easy to communicate with and provides many excellent tips on activities around the island. One of our favorite activities was the Allerton Gardens Sunset Tour by the owner.

This is a lovely comfortable condo which was a great set up for our family with small kids. The loft space was perfect for our two kids who enjoyed their privacy but liked being close. The beds were comfy. No bugs or critters to be found inside which I appreciated in a tropical location.
The kitchen had everything we needed.
There were many nene on the grounds which we loved if you're into birds. The pool was great for our kids too.
Cary, the host, communicated with us throughout and helped whenever it was needed.

Beautiful location we had a nice stay. Condo furnishings are a little dated but overall super comfortable, refrigerator had some issues but owner was aware and had a remedy so it wasn’t an issue. The outdoor cooking area was close to the condo and we used it often. The pool, hot tub, and courts were awesome and staff were great.

We found this location to be great for us, perfect combination of restful beauty to relax in and plenty of activities and sights to see nearby. Especially enjoyed hot tub and congenial conversation with other guests. Amazing views from the cliffs, even walking around neighborhoods close by, sighting albatross nestlings. Great time! Owner was very responsive to our needs and comments.

Nice 2BR with 3 beds convenient for parents with two kids. Owner really responsive to questions. Nice to have boogie boards and snorkeling equipment to borrow. Bathrooms look recently updated. Great mattresses. Would definitely return but probably in summer when weather better.

We loved our stay in Cary’s condo! The condo was clean and bed was comfy. Check in was easy. All the amenities were great. Cary had beach stuff in the condo that was great for our trip. We used the chairs, cooler, boogie boards and sand mat almost daily. We also had our baby with us and having the baby gate, pack n play and high chair made traveling with an infant significantly easier. We also used the complexes pool, hot tubs and kids jungle gym outside. And the view from the cliffs was beautiful. Cary provided lots of tourist information that was helpful. The condo was close to Hanalei where we did most of our hanging out. There is a grocery store close and plenty of parking at the complex. I’m so glad we stayed here and would recommend it to anyone traveling to Kauai!

The condo was great. Staff was friendly. Cary was super responsive. We had a very minor issue with the fridge that was taken care of right away. Princeville is a beautiful area and I’ve stayed at tithe condos where bugs were an issue. This was not the case at Cary’s place. We were schooled at the lack of bugs. We had a great time, very close to sight seeing, snorkeling beaches and farmer’s market. Hope to be back soon.

This was our 4th stay at this property so I have commented previously. There was a miscommunication with the cleaning staff which is why I gave a 4 on cleanliness. The owner immediately contacted housekeeping and sent them to our unit. Everything was taken care of and it wasn't an issue. One of the new upgrades this year was the built in entertainment unit. This allowed the owner to put in a little larger TV. We appreciated it greatly. Cary is the most attentive property owner and really wants to make sure your stay is great.

This condo was perfect for our family of four during our stay on Kauai! We loved the family time on the back patio with the constant ocean breeze! It was always a great way to start and end our day! Great experience from the first contact with the owner Cary to our departure a month later. I personally believe, outside of the location and the accommodations meeting our needs, Cary's helpfulness, sold us on this property. I have been in the travel industry for more than 20 years. I would consider myself an experienced traveler, looking for better than average accommodations as well as a good "deal". This lovely condo at the Cliffs more than met our expectations. This unit is conveniently located on the grounds, close to the pool, tennis courts, concierge's desk (loved Sabrina and Sarah!) We set up all of our fun activities through them. We golfed on Prince, copter tour with Sunshine, zipline tour on the south shore because of our little guys (6 & 8) with the Outfitters, loved Matt and Riley! Day cruise with Blue Dolphin, hi five out to captian Roy and Greg! Snorkeled at Tunnels, snuck into the St. Regis for the day (Wow) found the blue room, tubing through the sugar cane caves (fun but not our best highlight) learned to stand up paddle with Diane Cline and almost 30days of kundalini yoga at the Cliffs (she is not to be missed, life changing) I could go on, we spent a month here and didn't miss out on much. We did enjoy our down time at the condo too. Our two boys loved the upstairs loft. Very spacious, high ceilings with slanted windows to allow the breeze in. Two fans were provided just in case and the boys loved them. The kitchen is FULLY equiped, view into the garden and our back lanai, which we had many meals at. Huge masterbed room with another lanai. Comfy living room funiture, we all claimed our own spots to watch videos from the local Foodland Market. Plenty of tv channels too. There were plenty of towels, beach towels and toys. Tennis balls, etc. Fun little putt putt in front of our condo. The condo is tiled for the flooring, which I appreciated. It was easy to sweep up the sand we brought in every day. The pictures on this listing are true to form. Very well maintained property by owner and the Cliffs. Oh, I almost forgot, what a cool pool! Three different areas and two hot tubs. Not too big where you couldn't keep an eye on the kids. We have stayed on the south side and have decided Princeville is our future home for all visits and of couse at the Cliffs when Cary has availability! Mahalo! p.s. our depost was returned less than a week after we returned home.

My wife and I have taken 3 trips to in the last 5 years, and we've stayed at The Cliffs each time. We love the seclusion of being nestled up against the ocean, while also having the immediate ameneties of a resort (a pool, a spa, tennis courts). This last time, we rented this condo instead of grabbing an unbooked timeshare. And we were pleasantly surprised.
The condo was very tastefully decorated. It had an old-world tropical feel with it's darkly stained dressers, tables, armoires, and beds. The decorations were island-inspired without being island kitsch. Finally, the couches and armchair were soft, comfortable, and perfectly relaxing--I easily dozed off in them more than once (compared to the last condo we stayed in which had vinyl-cord couches that felt like we were sitting on the backseat of an old Chevy malibu)!
Not to mention that the condo was very clean, had a toaster oven (in addition to a microwave and oven, of course), an internet connection, and a dvd player for the TV. And being on the third floor, we felt we had more privacy (and more room with the loft).
After 2 previous stays in other condos at The Cliffs, I far and away recommend this unit much more highly than the others I've seen. It was the perfect place for a relaxing getaway on our 5th Anniversary...
