Fantastic experience. Condo is as advertised in the pictures and located in the heart of Poipu. Easy walking distance to two beaches including Poipu Beach where you can watch Hawaiian Green turtles come ashore around 6:00 pm each evening. Condo is clean and well stocked with all the essentials and more! This includes beach chairs, beach umbrella, coolers for drinks as well as more for those with young kids. Everything you need for heading to Kauai’s plethora of beaches! We did not opt for the portable air conditioning units as the ceiling fans and window venting along with the trade winds kept it cool enough for us. We would definitely like to stay here again as Kauai has risen to our favorite Hawaiian island!

This condo is in prime location. It’s within walking distance to beaches, bars, the pool and tennis courts right outside. We arrived after sunset and the check in process was very easy. The property was clean and had everything we needed including beach toys and furniture. We added on the AC units and they were life saving! Thank you for having us and we’d love to come back.

This was a our first VRBO and our stay was great. The condo has a nice location on the island and on the property; just a short walk to the beach. We have a 4 and 6 year old that everything worked out well for. Condo was well equipped, furniture was comfy, place was clean. Property management was responsive. Information provided from owners was excellent. AC units were definitely needed for us during our stay. The room for improvement for us (because I am a light sleeper and for better sleep) was that the bedroom could use black out curtains for the windows and the AC units get loud even on sleep mode. Overall, happy with our stay.

This was our first time in Kauai and are so glad we chose to stay in Poipu at this property. This place has everything we needed to make our stay perfect- amazing balcony view, close to the beaches, easy access to the major routes, clean unit, pool right outside, and close to amazing restaurants/food trucks and local shops. Poipu was definitely the part of the island where the sun shines more consistently. The property had three boogie boards, sand toys, two coolers, two umbrellas and four beach chairs which came into use every single day as we always wound up at the beach after a hike. Brennecke's Beach is a five or so minute walk and is one of the best for boogie boarding. Poipu Beach park is definitely for younger families with calmer water where you can snorkel and see turtles everyday.
The kitchen was stocked with a good variety of cookware and tupperware. The property manager, Surrey, was so responsive and helpful throughout our stay. She even looked for my son's stuffy he left behind. We did have a minor maintenance issue that was rectified quickly and did not interrupt our vacation schedule. As mentioned by other travelers, we did not need the a/c at all. Kauai is known for its tradewinds and quickly cools the unit when the windows/doors are open.
I will miss having coffee on the lanai and hearing the birds and roosters at sunrise. We can't wait to return to the most beautiful Hawaiian island!

We stayed for a week and the unit was clean and well stocked. The furnishings were more than adequate and generally in good condition. The availability of beach equipment (chairs, cooler, etc.) was a plus.

We had a fabulous two week stay in this condo. It was clean, well maintained and had keyless entry. The bedroom furniture was new and the bed was very comfortable, with a large assortment of pillows. Lovely cooling breezes flow through the unit. We cooked the majority of our meals and the kitchen was well stocked. The lanai is perfect for meals, lounging and sunsets.
The Kahala is central to many adventures whether driving or walking. The property manager was very responsive when contacted, responding within minutes and assisted in resolving the issue. We have already booked again for next year.

Beautiful stay here in gorgeous Kauai! Here for a conference down the green belt at the Grand Hyatt and this location was perfect and only a short 10 minute walk away. Condo was very clean and accommodating. Has all the needed amenities to compliment your stay. We did not opt to have the air conditioning units set up and only a few mid to late afternoons with the sun bearing down on the porch windows did we think twice about it. Otherwise it was perfect! Lots to see and do around Kauai. We really appreciated the binder of information about preferred activities and restaurants. Thank you for such welcoming accommodations and for making our trip such a great experience!

Condo is roughly 150 yards from Brennecke Beach in a compound with two pools, 5-6 tennis courts, and one of the islands most popular bars 40 yards away. The property manager responded to our requests within 24 hours and check in and check out went smoothly.

We had a great week at this condo. The view from the lanai is spectacular. My wife and I sat out there every morning to enjoy our breakfast, and we ate dinner there as a family every night. The bed in the master bedroom was very comfortable. We slept very well all week. The AC units do a great job of keeping the place cool when we used them, but honestly of all the places we've stayed during our multiple trips to various Hawaiian islands, this one may have had the best airflow. The trade winds come right through the front door and out the lanai, so being hot was never really a problem the entire time we were there. The condo is well equipped. We cooked all but a few of our meals there. We also used the beach chairs and boogie boards a couple of times. Whether you want a home base to use while you explore the island, or you just want to relax and enjoy Poipu, this place is an excellent option. Our kids especially loved Brennecke's Beach (5 minute walk) and the pool/jacuzzi (1 minute walk) Communication with the host was fast and clear.
We would definitely stay again.

We stayed at this condo for a few days near the end of our trip to Kauai. The property manager was very helpful. Great location - easy walk to Poipu Beach for snorkeling and seeing sea turtles on the shore. Really nice to have beach chairs, umbrellas, coolers and a wagon to use with the kids. Washer/dryer is always great for a beach vacation for kids. Would stay here again!

View of the beach and ocean is wonderful. Sunsets as well. Very convenient as it is just a few minutes walk to one of the best beaches on Kauai. The owners provided everything for daily life inside (cooking, laundry, etc) and anything you would need for a day at the beach.
We also enjoyed the pool.

This was a wonderful condo for our vacation! The bed is very comfortable, and the location can't be beat. You can easily walk to Poipu Beach and have a great view from the lanai while you're enjoying your morning coffee with the little birds chirping in the nearby trees. I would HIGHLY recommend adding the portable air conditioning units, especially in the summer. They kept the condo perfectly cool and comfortable during our stay. The kitchen has all the utensils and glasses you might need. Please note that the parking spot is not directly in front of the unit. It's not far down at all, but it might be confusing if you arrive at night. The property manager and owner made everything smooth from start to finish, and we would love to come back and stay again!

We had a really nice stay at this condo. There was plenty of room for our family of three. The location is wonderful - we enjoyed the walk to the beach, and it was a great home base as we explored the south, west and east sides of the island (we had stayed up north in Princeville before this). Communication was great, though we didn't need to reach out at all once we were there, we had everything we needed, and all questions answered. We really appreciated the beach supplies - wagon, chairs, umbrella, coolers, boogie boards, sand toys. It was also awesome being right next to the pool/hot tub, and the pool area and grounds always seemed very clean. Some construction next door that we heard a little while at the pool, but it really didn't impact us negatively at all. We never ended up using the air conditioners - the breeze kept us comfortable - so it was hard to justify paying for them, but if you want a break from the humidity, and the opportunity to close windows at night, they'd be helpful. Overall, this was a perfect choice for our vacation.

We had a great time in Poipu and the unit was perfect. We had everything we needed and the owner even brought us a brand new wagon when we mentioned we could use one. It came in handy when going to the beach with a toddler. We will definitely come back!

The owners thought of everything, especially the little things, that made things easier - beach towels&chairs, good supply of laundry soap, dishwasher soap, tissues, TP, there was salt, pepper, oil, vinegar.
So nice to have washer/dryer in the unit.
It was great to be able to get directly into the condo without having to check in at an office.
You can see whether the pool is.busy before going.
Nice having Kalapaki Joe's right there as a dining option.
You get an assigned parking spot so never.have to worry about finding a spot.
I recommend springing for the portable AC units. The one in the bedroom did great. The one in the living.room was fine morning and evening, but struggled in the afternoon (condo faces west), even with all the windows, curtains and blinds closed, so I did my outings in the afternoons, worked out fine.
Favorite part: the spectacular view from the lanai, great for morning and evening knitting!

What an amazing honeymoon experience! This property has everything you need. My wife and I were really liking the initial entryway stairs, the balcony, and the openness of the living room. The kitchen is loaded with all the necessities (including gumbo pot!). We ate almost every meal on the balcony so we could soak up the sun and the spectacular views! The walk down to the beach each morning was very pleasant. We did have one request, which was resolved in a timely manner. Highly recommend! I saved this property for future visits!

My husband and I had the loveliest time at this property! It had everything we needed and more!! I chose this condo for the location, the ocean view, and the provided pack & play and high chair for my one year old daughter. It was spacious, squeaky clean, and perfect for our family of four. We walked to the beaches, enjoyed our time at the pools, and had easy access to restaurants, shops, etc. Mike and Reema were wonderful hosts, providing a binder full of insights and suggestions to their guests (many of which we took), and lots of amenities to make our stay better (kitchen gadgets, sand toys, boogie boards, etc.) . They also have a local manager who was readily available to answer the few questions we had. I highly recommend this space and will definitely stay here again on our next Kauai adventure!

Perfect location! For the money this was a perfect condominium. The amenities are great including tennis, pool, hot tub and just a perfect short walk to poipu beach, restraunts and pretty much everything you'd need.
My only complaint would be that the master bedroom (the only bedroom) had a musty smell in it, most likely due to the climate on Kauai and the fact that the bedroom had carpet.
Otherwise, the condo was perfect!

Perfect for our family. We didn't realize until the second night that there was a blow-up mattress that my my two boys appreciated since they didn't need to share the pull-out mattress. The view was nice, and the grounds were immaculate. The location was great...I had a conference at the Grand Hyatt and that was an easy 15 minute walk. My only issue was that the vent fan in the bathroom was wimpy so we left it on to prevent the bathroom from getting musty after we had taken showers and left for the day.

My husband, 11 month old, and I stayed at this property for 5 nights. We had a slight issue when we arrived, but Mike and his team handled it so quickly, we were impressed and pleased. The best beach for kids (Poipu) was about a 7-10 minute walk away, and Mike has many chairs, an umbrella, coolers, boogie boards, and sand toys. We also appreciated the pack n play, high-chair, and baby gate for the stairs. The place was clean and well furnished--we cooked breakfast and dinner most days and didn't want for any cooking items. We enjoyed having breakfast on the lanai and watching the sunset; amazing views. Thanks to Mike and team for an amazing stay, we hope to return!

There was only one regular size boogie board and one very small one (the size of small swimming kick board) - so if you have more than one family member that will want to use them, you will probably want/need to rent/buy one.
