The condo was amazing and had everything we needed for the week long stay. The air conditioning unit in the bedroom was a life saver as we visited in August and it was pretty warm at night still. We really enjoyed the view of trees on one of the balconies. I took a star off from communication with management team because when checking in, I didn’t feel warm or welcome. We didn’t have any issues and the person was not friendly at all when giving the second key. Ironically when I was checking out, she was extremely pleasant - where was that niceness the week before. They were responsive when we had questions before and during the stay. The unit itself had beach towels, cooler, beach chairs, umbrella, and boogie boards. The in unit laundry was also very convenient to have. Please note the unit does have a loft portion that’s not accessible to guests, but fun to look up to from the living room. Access to pools was also spectacular as well as a ten-ish minute walk to the beach (bring water shoes and snorkeling masks!).Mahalo!

Condo dated - needs maintenance for safety issues like tub/shower grab bars (tub is large soaking type tub and difficult to step into); no smoke alarm in bedroom, A/C vent needs to be more secure in window opening or it comes loose and hot A/C exhaust blows into room; needs cleaning of bathroom vents, needs cleaning A/C filters BADLY ! Tub is slippery and no rubber mat provided; tub/toilet room light fixture does not appear to be working correctly - takes a long time to turn on and blinks repeatedly before steady light; toilet is not stable and rocks when sat upon; toilet lid is broken or needs tightening on right hinge; bath towels are small and flimsy; Unit does not really get breeze and gets very hot inside-A/C does not really cool bedroom during night. Location good; pool good; appliances work okay; note: extra charge for laundering more than 1 set towels per person!

The location’s great and the unit is spacious. However, it was SO hot, that it was impossible to enjoy it. We were supposed to cook our meals, but didn’t want to spend the time there. It says AC in the headline & the amenities list, but it’s only a small portable AC in the bedroom (with the heat coming back from the window). It actually says this on the text paragraph, I guess it’s my fault that I didn’t pay enough attention and trusted the headline/amenities list. It was so hot that we would have moved at our own cost but nothing was really available in Poipu area. Stayed at the end of July.

Great location, lots room for one or a couple. Caroet needs replacing. Bedroom has portable ac but dest of house very hot especially the bathroom. Cant do make iyp in there at all. Even with all the windows open. Place needs an.Ac or upgraded ceiling fan that outs out more power and smaller one in tbe hallway and over the stairs would make huge difference. Also leaving a sample back of lysol wipes for the kitchen would be great.

We loved the location of this property and got amazing sunrise and sunset views. It was well stocked with various items we needed in the kitchen and for the beach, though these all need to be updated. However on the negative side, there is no AC in the living areas which made it extremely hot inside even with all the fans and windows open. The appliances and furniture also need to be updated as they are older. Overall, the stay still was a pleasant one but my partner and I walked away with a new found appreciation for modern air conditioning :)

Nice views and located very close to Poipu Beach, which was great for snorkeling, swimming, and seeing sea turtles and seals! Also close to Shipwreck beach which had a beautiful coastal trail. Host responded quickly to fix issue with AC in the loft. Nice to have a kitchen for cooking a few of our own meals.

We are so glad we found this place! It was spacious, comfortable, and clean. Short walk to Poipu Beach where we saw turtles everyday. We enjoyed the pools and the access to the Poipu Athletic Club. The air conditioning in the bedrooms made the nights very comfortable. Would definitely stay here again, highly recommend!

This second/top story. one-bedroom is in a terrific location with wonderful ocean views. The lanai is a great place to hang, day or night. The kitchen is stocked with more utensils and appliances than my home! Easy access parking. Although it would accommodate a family of four with small children, it would not be suitable for four adults. There is a free-standing AC unit in the bedroom; no central AC. It got a bit toasty in the afternoon but you can go cool off in the pool, which is a short walk away. I would stay here again.

We loved being able to walk to three beaches, multiple places to get food, hiking, and the pool/jacuzzi was just a few steps away. An added bonus was all the beach gear. The unit had a great view and it is now our favorite Kauai locale (after many trips to Kauai). We hope to be back soon!

This property was perfect for my family of 4. The kids loved the loft and the layout of the space was great. Location was also perfect, offering amazing ocean views, along with the pool, hot tub, and beach nearby. It was well-stocked and had everything we needed. We followed the advice of the property owner to open the windows to allow the trade winds to go through, but it was just too hot to bear, especially in the loft. The AC provided some relief, but it was just so hot everywhere except the main bedroom. The property was not very clean when we arrived. The bathtub had different types of hairs in it—long, short, curly, and what looked like short dog hair. We wiped everything down in the kitchen and bathroom before using these areas. I’m confident we left the place cleaner than it was when we arrived. It might be a good idea to check on the cleaning service to ensure they are doing their job adequately. It was disappointing to arrive feeling like the property was less than clean, especially given the cleaning fee of 245 that was charged to us.

This was the perfect vacation home for our family! It is very quiet and peaceful, has a beautiful ocean view, and is in a great location close to the pool and a great beach for relaxing, surfing, snorkeling. The beach even had a bay for our son to swim safely. The house even has beach gear including a wagon, boogie boards, beach toys and a cooler which was really convenient.

What are your objective? It is a great View. Quiet Condo. The lowest price with a good view. Comfortable Bed. Everything you would want in the kitchen. The owner keeps the price low vs. Other condo that are the same at Suite Paradise. If you want a new Kitchen. new Carpet. New Furniture; then the owner most Likely will raise the price for the cost. Now I am only assuming. I don't mind the humidity in Hawaii; But some would. The A/C is mediocre ; but electricity is Super expensive in Hawaii. California is the exact same rate as Hawaii in electricity. So if you want to come back for wine on the balcony or breakfast in the morning this place is great. It is nice that you have TWO balconies. One Balcony looks towards the sea on the Green-belt. The other balcony is off the master bedroom overlooking large plants . Quiet and Not near the parking lot like a lot of other condo. Would I return. Yes. As long as the price is low; if it goes up; No. Hawaii. Kauai. Poipu is expensive. At least for me. But coming here is a real treat.

Since our last stay, there have been several upgrades which made our stay even better this time. A new stove that worked lots better, new beach chairs and an umbrella that we used almost every day, and, best of all, AC in the bedroom. The AC served two purposes...cooling the room and drowning out the noise from the nearby road. The best part of this condo remains the location and the views from the balcony. We looked at other places, but it always comes back to the views! Communication with management was good, the place was clean, and we would definitely stay again.

This is a nice condo for what we needed. We knew going in we just needed the basics. This met ours needs. I was traveling with my husband, my 19 and 17 year old children. The second bedroom with the twin beds was small but on for them to sleep in. The condo has A/C floor units in each bedroom and ceiling/floor fans in other areas.We loved the access to the Beach Club! Take advantage of this if you can! The location to Poipu beach is awesome too, walking to the beach is no problem! They have 4 beach chairs, a small cooler, boogie boards for guests to use. The lanai was lovely to enjoy the nature outside too. Few things I'd like to comment on:This is a downstairs unit, when someone is staying upstairs you can hear them move just about every chair or object on the floor in the unit above very loudly. We were really only there in the mornings or evenings so it was mostly annoying. The other thing I'll say is although I booked this through VRBO all of my communication seemed to be through Suite Paradise once we were there. It wasn't clear to me why that was. I like using my VRBO app and I couldn't. So be prepared for that. Overall the stay was nice, Kauai is a lovely island.

The apartment is wonderfully located, with a great view down the central lawn and walkway to a small piece of the sea and waves. Furnishings are comfortable and a bit more elegant than many vacation spots. It was hot and stuffy when we arrived but once we opened all the louvers, there was almost always good airflow and a pleasant temperature. We would return here if it is available in the future.

The large walk-in closet was very convenient to have our bags, and hang/stow clothes. Loved the pool right downstairs, along with beautiful beaches just a short walk away. We enjoyed staying in this condo. The location is great both in terms of where it is in Poipu and where it is in the complex. The assigned parking spot is right outside the stairs to the condo and the pool and jacuzzi are right behind it as well. The ocean views on the balcony are really good. Walks to multiple beaches including the baby beach were easy. The condo was clean and the kitchen had everything we needed to cook meals, plus there are grills throughout the complex including right next door in the parking lot. The condo is stocked with beach gear, coolers, etc which was very appreciated.We were afraid that the noise from the pool would bother us but it didn't. The noise from the bar/restaurant next door, particularly on live music night, did bother us a little more though.The main bedroom on the main level was a great size and kept nice and cool. The upstairs loft area was well furnished with two twin beds and a couch but unfortunately was too hot in our opinion. There is a ceiling fan, a floor fan, a table top fan, and a portable A/C unit provided up there but with all of them running it was still hard to keep it cool enough for sleeping. After the first two nights we decided to let our toddler sleep with us in the main bedroom because we thought it was a lot more comfortable. This was unfortunate as we had selected this condo specifically to have a separate bedroom for our toddler.Overall though this condo has many great features and we enjoyed our vacation.

The condo is in an excellent location next to the pool and minutes walk to the beach. The loft can get hot and its air conditioner doesn’t function as well as the main ac. That said everything else was great.

Everything was nice...however, the AC was not for the entire unit Just the bedroom), and the bedroom AC unit was not exhausting the hot air outside, rather the hot air was going into the room and making it hotter! It was close 90 degrees in there when we arrived at 7:45 PM. We fixed it so it sent the hot air outside, but this was not something we should have had to do.Unit was nice, though dated, but was in a great locatiion!
