Wonderful reception at Suite Paradise office during check in/out! Rental location is ideal for walking to beach or exploring the scenic Maha'ulepu Heritage Trail. Quiet nights and peaceful mornings (even the Kauai chickens seem to respect the early mornings ;). Would definitely stay here again!

It was a very old and outdated unit. There were many, many flies that were inside the unit even if we never opened any windows; the dishwasher leaked water; the bathroom was old, the vent fan sounded like it is going to fall off. It made for a very unpleasant stay. Had to cut our stay short because of all these issues, and had to find another hotel to stay in.

Unfortunately, there were several issues that significantly impacted our experience. Smoking is not allowed on the lanai, yet the guests above us smoked on their lanai for the first two nights. The smoke consistently wafted directly into our condo through the sliding doors and windows. We called security numerous times, and no action was taken until more than 24 hours later.Even after the issue was considered “resolved,” cigarette smoke continued to come into our unit through the bathroom ventilation system. This made it impossible to fully avoid the smoke during our stay.We contacted the VRBO owner multiple times through the platform regarding this issue and never received a response. We also contacted VRBO support, who informed us that the owner refused to refund or relocate us despite the ongoing smoking problem.The kitchen was also very minimally stocked, with only salt and pepper and limited cookware, making it difficult to prepare meals. Additionally, the condo felt dated compared to expectations.Overall, while the location has potential, the smoking issues, lack of owner communication, and condition of the unit made this stay far less enjoyable than anticipated.

Had multiple emails and texts prior to our arrival. Check-in/ check-out was simple. Pool convenient to each unit. Beach is walkable, but small and lots of people. Lots of food options, including close grocery stores. There is an AC unit in the bedroom, but we found keeping the windows opened was most comfortable.

Host was accommodating and the view is nice. But I would never stay here again. The condition of this unit is not good and needs some serious updates and maintenance. The bathroom and shower are old and worn. The exterior of the refrigerator was dirty and disgusting. The windows in the bedroom are terrible/moldy and not sealed due to the portable ac until venting through the window with a board in the opening.

The location of the unit was good and the unit was nicely decorated. A few things could be improved or fixed, including the bottom of the screen door was torn, locking door knob to the bedroom would stick, and the non-stick frying pans were badly scratched and worn and should be replaced.

Let me start by saying the grounds, view and location are great in Poipu. How ever upon arrival several not so good things. Had to call for more toilet paper right away, loose toilet when sitting, air conditioning only in queen bed room, rest of condo super hot. floor fans worked ok, one was broken. chipped coffee cups, teflon pans coating peeling severely causes lead flakes in food. Coffee maker leaks every time you pour coffee! Floors needed to be mopped. This unit is nice but needs some care for sure!

We loved the very easy access to pool/hot tub, walk to the beach and tons of big grass areas for kids to run around in. Felt very relaxed and comfortable with our family there the whole time, family friendly for sure. Easy (drivable) food options, and a couple walking distance places for a pinch. The only drawback was not having air conditioning in the living room/kitchen, those areas were unbearable several days of our stay. The portable ac units in the bedrooms cooled the whole back of the unit nicely.

We did not originally book this unit, but was moved here by VRBO due to a problem with our original booking. It was a nice upgrade for us and closer to the beach. The unit was very clean, had plenty of space, and was an easy walk to the beach or to a nearby sports bar that had a daily happy hour. The unit has an AC unit in the main bedroom and the living room. The smaller room got a little warm, but there was a ceiling fan and a large floor fan that helped. There were a lot of beach supplies (wagon, umbrella, blankets/towels etc). The bathrooms could use a little updating - the main bathroom cabinet doors don't properly close and the other bathroom has a towel rod that needs some TLC. Overall, this is a great place to stay - it was just two of us and we could have easily had six total (I think the couch is a sofa bed).

The Condo was just perfect for our Family visit on the island. A short, beautiful stroll through the property to the Beach where you will most likely see Sea Turtles and Monk Seals. not to mention, Poipu is one of the best snorkeling spots on the island. The neighborhood is safe and quiet. We also enjoyed sitting on the Lanai watching the tennis players at the Poipu tennis club. We would definitely recommend this place, and the hosts were easily reachable. We will be back!

Balcony was wonderful to hang out and look out at the beach in between the small walks to the beach and time in the water. Felt like the perfect spot to explore and enjoy all the beach fronts Poipu has to offer, because we could walk everywhere which enabled us to not worry about finding parking in town. Also the property is right next to the main exit out of poipu which gives quick access to other adventures. Only 20-30 mins away from Lihue and Eleele.

The host was very available to us…always answering our texts immediately. The power even went out in the area & they gave us an emergency number. We had a very positive stay in Kauai in this unit. Unit has upgraded kitchen and bathroom and was very clean. Had most of everything we needed in the kitchen and beach chairs and beach toys.Unit has only air conditioning in the bedroom. The exposure of the family room/dining room made it very uncomfortable in that area of the unit during the afternoon. Weather in Kauai seems to no longer have the tradewinds to cool things off in the evenings, at least not during our recent stays.
