Fantastic property, just a few minutes walk to the beach. The place was very clean and the AC was appreciated as many places on Kauai still don’t have it. Everything about our unit was as advertised, which made for a very pleasant, trouble free stay. This is one of the better equipped properties in which we have recently stayed. Towels, beach chairs, cooler, golf clubs, and the kitchen had everything we could want and more.
The photos don’t do the unit justice as the bedrooms are very spacious and the lanai for each bedroom is an awesome bonus.
If you choose, you can watch the gorgeous Poipu sunset from your lanai, or stroll down and enjoy it with others who gather at the beach every evening to share the beauty.
We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this unit to a friend or family member.

Got off to rocky start but owner was responsive which was gradifying. I shared a few suggestions with him which he seem to appreciate.

Nice lanai with great view, quiet complex, large rooms and bathrooms. Washer and dryer are a plus and a/c is good in bedrooms only. It sits up high so the afternoon sun beats down on the living room and bedroom facing West making it very warm in those areas, and you don’t get much of a cross breeze. I think better, updated window coverings would help.

This condo has an amazing ocean view and an excellent location within the complex. Parking is right at the front door; no steps to climb with groceries, luggage, etc. or lengthy walk to get to your vehicle. Great wireless and tv service. Very good communication with condo owner.

We stayed for Thanksgiving and had a terrific time with our family. The unit was easily walkable to the beach, clean and comfortable, and the check in process was easy.
The listing mentioned A/C but we expected central instead of the units in each of the bedrooms that were loud and not very strong. The unit was pretty warm in the afternoon - particularly in the common areas.
A few other easy upgrades - like a new mattress would move this to a truly awesome stay.
Communication with the host was really easy and convenient.

We followed our previous weeks stay in Maui directions.

our 1st stay in building 8. well kept and supplied condo with all the necessary amenities. the bedroom a/c units are more than enough to add the additional sleeping comfort. single level unit is a plus. definitely on the list for return consideration. thank you

We recently stayed at this property and there are good and not so good things. First the positive. The size of the property is huge. Both bedrooms and living area are large. It was nice that both bedrooms had portable a/c units. The kitchen had all the needed items to prepare a home meal. The view from the property is good and you can see sunsets and the ocean clearly. Also, my son enjoyed the bodyboard provided. Now the not so good. The first hour we were at the condo the guest bathroom toilet clogged. Given that there is a plunger and the toilet is held up by a wooden board one can assume it was not an unusual occurrence. I contacted the property manager as listed in the instructions and received a text the next day saying someone would look at it. Guess what? NO ONE EVER CAME. The toilet was clogged for three days until it finally flushed on it's own. Next, the neighbor who is a full time owner went out of her way to harass my son about putting on sunscreen OUTSIDE on the sidewalk because she didn't like it. She also proceeded to tell us where to walk and what we needed to do and not do. I know that being an owner by an rental can be problematic but it wasn't comfortable trying to make sure you didn't make her mad. In addition there are signs on both lanais saying not to talk to loud or talk on the phone outside. Overall, it wasn't a very inviting place to unwind. The property is dated and although it has the two ac portable unit they never really did the trick. Overall, I would choose a different property to stay at if I were to come to Poipu again.

Nice quiet 2 bedroom condo. Very spacious throughout. Kitchen was well equipped with everything you need. Lounge area was comfortably furnished. Bedrooms were large and air conditioning units were great and kept both bedrooms cool. The lounge would benefit from an air conditioning unit as it did get very hot in the afternoons. The curtains in the lounge and bedrooms were not proper curtains, more like net curtains just for privacy. However blackout curtains would have helped prevent heat buildup in the lounge and also not allow light through in the bedrooms in the early morning. Bathrooms were functional but the shower controls were very difficult to pull out and would benefit from some lubrication. The provision of shower gel, hand wash, shampoo, and conditioner was a nice touch.
Views from the lanai were lovely and it was great to sit out and enjoy an evening meal watching the sunset.
Disappointed there was no phone. First time we have stayed anywhere in Kauai without a phone. This maybe ok for visitors from the USA but not so good for Europeans or UK citizens as using cell phones is expensive is the US.
Pool area was good but we were surprised the pool had been closed for a day due to cleaning. We understand that such cleaning is necessary. Other visitors had been informed of this by the owners. However we were not informed and did not realise until we tried to go the pool to see there was a sign the pool was closed. We should have been informed as other visitors were.
Communication from the owner prior to arrival was good and responses to questions were received promptly.
Overall a nice stay.

The Pros: Great location - very close to the beach, pool is a short walk away. First floor condo but the sound from the upstairs unit wasn't bad. The unit is well equipped. The kitchen has everything you need. The living room, dining room and patio furniture was comfortable. The TV's worked well. Fast internet speeds. Shower supplies, cleaning supplies, etc. were all well-stocked. We only encounted one cocaroach, a few ants and a centipede in the unit. That is actually pretty good for Hawaii.
The Cons: There are portable a/c units in each room but no a/c in the living room and that is where it gets the hottest. The living room curtains are too thin to block the afternoon heat that shines directly through the patio doors. Adding blackout curtains to the sliding doors would be a game changer or upgrading to a mini-split a/c unit like the adjacent units.
The black stand fan was partially broken. It turned on but did not oscillate or provide sufficient air.
The guest bathroom toilet did not flush properly and needs to be repaired.
The built-in fan and light on above the stove did not work and it actually made it difficult to see while cooking because there is no light directly above the stove area.
Some of the frying pans were still greasy and had to be re-washed before we used them.
The twin beds in the guest room are worn out and very soft. Just a heads up if you're a sleeper who prefers firm mattresses.
Overall a good condo that just needs a few improvements.

The condo was well located near the beach and within a short drive to additional dining and shopping. The unit was clean upon arrival and easy to access. There are a few details to the unit that need some attention but overall it is a great place to stay. The chairs, umbrellas and ice chest came in very handy.

Our family really enjoyed our stay here! It was very spacious, with two bedrooms and two en suite bathrooms, as well as a large living room area. We especially loved watching the sunset from the balcony, where you could see the ocean. The environment was great, just a short walk to Poipu Beach, where we snorkled and even saw Hawaiian monk seals. The umbrellas, beach chairs, and cooler came in handy! Interior could use some updating (bathroom fan sometimes broken, loud toilet) but overall a pleasant stay.

The condo was just delightful....very well stocked kitchen, clean & comfy. Really appreciated the cleaning, laundry & bathroom supplies stocked for our stay. Every lanai sunset was a treat. The home was spacious and had all the amenities thoughtfully provided. There are two bedroom air conditioners so that we slept comfortably. It was great to have a kitchen for breakfast and snacks and we grilled burgers one night. The view from the balcony was beautiful and you can see the sunset from there if you don’t want to walk down to “the wall” to see it with the crashing waves. There was plenty of parking and it was easy to get in and out of the unit. All and all a very nice place.

Clean unit. Older style bamboo furnishings. One portable air conditioner is in each bedroom. Many ceiling fans. There are wide stairs from the car to the front door. Pool is about 1/4 mile away downhill. Beach a little farther away. Turtles at beaches during low tide. Surfing nearby. Some condiments left in the kitchen. Lots of kitchen utensils. Suggest Costco with almost mainland prices. Good barbeque at condo.

A fantastic view from the lanai only adds to the graciousness of this condo. We had everything we needed including scuba gear, beach chairs and a cooler. The place was clean and comfortable, just a short and pleasant walk through the gardens to get to the beach. Perfect - I can't wait for my next visit.
