Property was very conveniently located near Poipu beach. Easy access, designated parking, quiet at night and easy to sleep and listen to the waves against the shore. Owner was very helpful. Neighborhood was clean and well maintained. Would stay again.

I’m almost hesitant to write this review as I feel the less people know about this gem of a condo the better. It had an amazing view, mosaic tiled pool, huge shower, bidet, giant screen tv, fully stocked kitchen and linen closet. It was super clean, quiet and a very short stroll to the beach. Highly recommend!

Maureen was a very gracious host and had the condominium well stocked with basics that you would need like beach chairs coolers and things like that. The location is perfect if you want to go be at the beach and it is not very far from other things on the island. Highly recommend

Seeing and hearing the ocean, as well as beautiful sunsets while relaxing on the lanai - that's what a visit to sunny Poipu should include. The interior had an authentic island theme and was well-appointed. Thanks for the coffee bean grinder for enjoying local coffee! I've stayed at the nearby Grand Hyatt multiple times, but this felt more like the first visit to Kauai (including ocean breezes instead of AC) Would love to return!

Sunset Kahili has nice ocean view. You could hear waves crashing but not so loud it would wake you from sleep. (I am a very light sleeper). Beautiful sunset view. Short drive or nice walk to Poipu Beach which has all you would want; beautiful beach,snorkel rental,food,lifeguard, showers, bathrooms…
The condo was beautiful and had portable fans as well as ceiling fans. Nice breeze comes through kitchen. People were respectful of the quiet times, in fact it was never noisy. The pool was nice and not used much at at, but you are in Kauai with beautiful beaches!
The condo has all the cookware you would need, and while we were there, coffee, many condiments and staples(olive oil, salt, pepper, sugar, ketchup, mustard, mayonnaise…)
Kauai is the most beautiful place!!
Maureen is an excellent host and was quick to reply if you had any questions.

The condo is conveniently located in a very nice area about ½ mile from Poipu beach and a couple of miles from the historic old Koloa town area which has a number of restaurants, shops, and brewery. The balcony faces the ocean with an unobstructed view. The owner, Maureen, has the condo unit stocked with all the amenities you will likely need for your stay including beach items such as chairs, umbrella, towels, and drink cooler. The pool is nice and uncrowded. We enjoyed our stay and would likely book this unit again if we return to Kauai someday.

We could not have imagined a better stay than this. The views of sunset here everyday was a dream. The condo had a plethora of amenities and was squeaky clean. The location is amazing if you are looking to explore the southern and western side of Kauai. There are a tons of things walking distance from the condo as well. Meeting Maureen was lovely, she made us feel right at home when we arrived. The overall experience was a 10/10 and I would highly recommend this stay to anyone visiting Kauai! We hope to make a trip back in the near future and would definitely book this place again!

This condo/complex was everything my husband & I were looking for. Fantastic view, short walk to restaurants, beaches. Pool area was very clean, however we were always at the beach! We used the outdoor BBQ facilities a couple of times. Maureen was a great host & her home had everything we needed. We loved that she reached out upon our arrival to meet us & go over a couple of things. There isn't any air conditioning but even in June, the cool breeze flows through & keeps it very comfortable. We thank Maureen for her hospitality & should we ever visit Kauai again, we would stay here again.

This was a wonderful place to stay in Poipu, close to the beaches, beautiful view every morning on the balcony with our coffee. The place had everything one would need to spend 2 weeks in Kauai: full kitchen, giant screen TV, beach chairs, umbrella, mats, ice chests, snorkel gear, washer/dryer, swimming pool, ceiling fans in living room and bedroom (no AC, but if you open up the windows the cross breeze and fans were more than enough). Maureen was a great host, very nice, friendly and accommodating and was there to take care of the few minor issues that came up during our stay. This was a great place to stay - would definitely stay here again.

Really enjoyed our stay at Sunset Kahili. Close enough to walk to Poipu Beach but very quiet and relaxing. Loved the ocean view from the condo and the walk along the beach trail. We didn't do a lot of cooking but the kitchen was well stocked. Perfect spot to explore Kauai!

Stayed four nights here in early Sept, 2022. The unit is in an older building with a gorgeous view of the ocean, pool below, and the sunset. Cozy getaway for a couple. The decor is Asian Pacific. The property manager, Maureen, lives onsite and is wonderful: responsive and generous. She allowed us a few more hours before checkout since we had a late flight. Only a short walk to Poipu Beach and Bennecke's restaurant. The only negative is that, being in an older bldg, there is no AC. This may not be a problem in the winter months when the temps are 5-10 degrees lower, but it was quite warm when we stayed, Sept being one of the hottest months, even with all the fans going and windows open.

This is a gem of a condo for a quiet, relaxing vacation with all the amenities. Kitchen is well equipped and bathroom has lots of counter space. We used the Vornado fan along with both ceiling fans and slept well on the comfortable king size bed. There’s a washer/dryer and good size drying rack for swim clothes. The lanai has a great ocean view and plants added some privacy. Hauling beach equipment to/from car is easy-designated car parking space is near elevator. And Poipu Beach, only half a mile away, offered great snorkeling! We would definitely stay here again!

Fantastic place to stay and close to everything we wanted in our trip to Kauai. The sounds of the waves could be heard and we spent a lot of time just chillin on the balcony watching waves and sea turtles swim by. So relaxing, felt like time stopped! Maureen was great, very welcoming and the condo had everything we needed. I would definitely recommend staying here!!

We were amazed by the view, WOW! We sat on the deck until dark every night, with a glass of wine, french bread, cheese, and the view. Nothing better. The Hyatt did not compare with our 180-degree vista. Thank you Maureen for a wonderful week.

Great rental with amazing views! We have stayed at this building before and you can’t go wrong with this location. It is so close to Poipu Beach, just a couple of blocks away, where you will see Monk seals and Sea Turtles napping on the beach or swimming close to shore. From your lanai you can watch for Humpback whales during the winter months! Truly paradise! Maureen’s place is very comfortable and she is very attentive to your needs.

Sunset Kahili is an older condo complex but 306 was in very good condition with a lanai view of the ocean that is unbeatable. Enjoyed our stay for the week.

This is the first time we have stayed in a condo with an ocean view. First impressions through the front door were good and got a lot better as we opened the patio doors to a glorious view of the ocean and the coastline, I could see Nihihau in the distance.
At 700sf you might think, too small, that is not the case here. The layout compliments that space where it is important. The front room is roomy and comfortable as is an adjacent dining table area. The bed room is separated by sliding doors, the bed is is large and comfortable, we slept well listening to the waves. There is plenty of drawers and a small linen shelf area. The bathroom is large and can be accessed by two doors, one in the bedroom and the other from the dining area. It has a clothes closet, shower and vanity., we were not squeezed at all.
The kitchen area was compact with a small stacked laundry space, stove, oven and microwave, the ice box was large enough. There was a wall pantry and adjacent water heater/storage area.
Sitting on the deck every morning having coffee and breakfast while watching whales and other ocean activities was a joy. In the evening the sunsets were spectacular and at times someone played an ukulele as the sun descended, one evening it was bagpipes.
It was relatively quiet here even with the other condo deck areas facing each other. The pool area was well maintained as were the grounds. I was impressed with a women who did the potted plants as well as a man doing the morning clean up in the parking, pool and common areas. There are permanent residents here, it is a friendly place. One evening a pot luck gathering at the pool was in full swing, .
Getting heavy luggage around was easy, there is an elevator and we found some furniture dolly's behind a door on the third floor.
The unit is close to everything and a short walk to the beach, the Hyatt and tennis courts at Poipu Kai.
The owner was quick to respond to our communications and it was reassuring to know that he cared about our comfort. This is a nice condo and we really liked staying here, it felt more like home than a rental, we will miss it a lot.

We stayed in Sunset Kahili 507 during our visit in November 2016 for our 25th anniversary. It's a beautiful condo and.....that VIEW!! It IS as HUGE as the description indicated when we booked. We enjoyed almost every sunset from the lanai! After a long day of exploring Kauai, this condo was a perfect retreat. We also were pleased to find a closet filled with boogie boards, umbrella, beach chairs and coolers. The condo stayed very comfortable with the trade-winds blowing through perfectly. The complex is very clean. I saw maintenance personal outside every day sweeping and cleaning. My interactions with the owners were very professional and very friendly. Patricia kept us posted before and during our visit on the details of renting their condo, making our stay easy! This condo is walking distance to Poipu Beach Park, the Lava Arch near Makahu'ena condos, Shipwreck Beach (Grand Hyatt), and the Makawehi Lithified Cliffs (along the Maha'ulepu Heritage Trail). We do hope to visit Kauai again in the future and will put this condo on top of my list of places to stay!

This is a lovely property with a beautiful view. Close to many attractions and several great places to eat. The clean pool was great after long days of sight-seeing and the trade wind breezes made for excellent sleeping. Quiet, peaceful and fantastic sunsets from the lanai. Would be a five-star rating, but the elevator was out of service for four of the seven days we were there - not the owner's fault, of course - but still very inconvenient when hauling groceries, beach supplies, and luggage.

We arrived on 10/3/2016 and immediately noticed the view and the tasteful modern furnishings and décor. The unit is completely furnished with all appliances and accessories. It also felt very warm to us as we are from western Washington and without A/C it took getting used to. Making full use of the many fans provided we soon acclimatized and had a very enjoyable 9 day stay. We would return here again. We also enjoyed the quiet and relaxing somewhat laid back atmosphere of the place. It was nice to wake to a view of the ocean and the sound of the waves on the shore.

loved the condo! looks just like the pictures. i specifically rented this condo because the bedroom faces the water, which is very hard to come by. most face parking lots. it was very clean and quiet. the view was spectaular! i would stay here again for sure

It is everything it says it is and more. I love the sound of the ocean crashing against the rocks at night. Very close to everything. Spent most of the time playing golf and then relaxing and watching the view. I think my wife is already looking at coming back and we haven't left yet.
No A/C is just something you have to deal with. The trade winds work most of the time, but having the fans circulate air helps for a restful sleep.
The kitchen is well stocked and there are great places to eat near by.
Loved to walk over to Poipu beach. Only a few minutes away.
