Lovely location with easy acess to Shipwreck beach. Spent nights looking at the stars on the grass while listening to the waves. Nice views of beach/ocean. Close to grocery store and restaurants as well as major roads. Just far enough away to not hear any traffic, but great convenience.

We absolutely loved our stay at Poipu Sands! The rental unit is spacious, quiet, clean, and everything we could’ve asked for. The owners seem to have thought of everything that we could possibly need for a beach vacation :) Sitting on the lanai to watch/listen to the ocean was one of our favorite things to do!

Great location. The “inside” AC is too noisy to be useful. Absent a strong wind, and with temperatures rising with global warming, these units may become much less comfortable.

The property was just as pictured and actually felt larger in person than the photos depicted. The location was perfectly situated with beautiful ocean and beach access. The additional fans that were provided in the unit were helpful to keep the living spaces outside of the bedroom comfortable. The portable air unit did struggle a bit to cool the bedroom but overall was not a problem.
We appreciated the easy check in and check out. It’s certainly nice when property owners respect that a cleaning fee is being charged with the reservation, therefore, not asking the guests to take multiple steps in cleaning the unit before departure is a welcomed gesture.
We would love to return to your property in the future.

Can’t beat the location ! The view we had was beyond words!! This condo has everything you need to enjoy the beach. The bed is comfortable and the kitchen had everything we needed ! The host is first class !!! Had a few questions when we arrived , she was prompt and helped us with an early check in . When we thought we might be stranded due to a flight cancelation , she helped find us a place to stay , just in case!! We will be back next year for sure !!!!

We come to Poipu annually and have stayed in various condos in Poipu Sands about 10 times. This unit was by far the best in our experience, with the view down Shipwreck Beach the icing on the cake. We were there this time for 3 weeks and it was tough leaving for sure.
The management team was super responsive to a couple of questions we had which we appreciated. The condo is very well appointed and stocked, and the beach gear provided was new or near new. The electronic door lock was easy to use and a really nice convenience for us.

We walked right out the door across the lawn to the beach. Plus beach chairs, coolers and boogie boards were provided. A perfect place to stay in Poipu!

What a nice gem of a condo in beautiful Poipu! This unit is on a grassy lawn, just a few hundred yards from Shipwreck beach and the Grand Hyatt. Easy access to golf, hikes, and various restaurants. The unit is well furnished, comfortable and spotless! It is good sized, with a big master suite, full master bath and separate half bath, full and kitchen with new appliances, ice maker, beach equipment, snorkeling gear, beach chairs. It also has a nice lanai with dining table and chaise lounges. Parking is just a few steps away from the front door. What more can you ask for? We were very comfortable here and wished we'd booked it for a longer stay. On our next trip to Kauai we'll definitely look to stay here again. Thank you

Wonderful, direct view of Shipwreck Beach and beyond (better than the other buildings at Poipu Sands). Enjoyed being on the ground floor and able to walk directly out onto the grass or over to Shipwrecks. Easy access to multiple beaches. Quiet neighbors during our stay. Ample parking. We reported one issue with a bathroom light that had been broken before our arrival and received an email back from the management company quickly.

Enjoyed the sunrise over Shipwreck Beach everyday! The view from the lanai is wonderful. The unit had everything we needed from beach gear to a well stocked kitchen. Great walking trails for early morning exploring and a perfect location to get anywhere on the island from local shops, restaurants and Waimea Canyon, a must see.

My wife and I celebrated our 40th anniversary with 7 nights at this well equipped, clean and cozy property. As most nearby restaurants were booked up during our stay we cooked in a few dinners and had all the cookware and utensils needed for a nice gourmet meal. Wireless router went out first day and onsite mgmt had another installed the next day - very responsive! Highly recommend for a central location to explore the island with great amenities nearby.

This is a lovely property!! My husband and I stayed for 5 nights at the end of 2 weeks on Kauai. It’s spacious with a gorgeous view, situated right on the greenway path that connects to grand Hyatt hotel and the Koloa heritage trail. Condo was clean and well stocked with kitchen utensils and appliances. There is an air conditioner for the bedroom for comfortable sleeping. I feel the property is actually more lovely than the photographs portray. Communication was great and many items throughout the property were labeled with specific directions…..such as the remotes for TV……which we never turned on!! If you’re considering the poipu area, and the size suits your needs, just book it! Sunrises you will never forget!!

Sunrise view was spectacular from our patio. The accommodations were quite nice and updated. The pool was nice but location was not close to the beach. We do look forward to coming back sometime.
