A three-mile drive south brings you to the highly-rated Ka'anapali Beach and Black Rock, one of the best snorkeling spots in all of Maui. While you're at Ka'anapali Beach, enjoy one of the many restaurants in Whaler's Village or book a boat for a day cruise, whale watching tour, or scuba/snorkel trip. If you don't care to drive, you have plenty of options within walking distance. The sand and ocean are just steps from the resort, as is the Maui Brewing Company, coffee shops, banks, restaurants, and many other local options.

Had a blast! Right on the water you can listen to the waves and feel the breeze all night. Private community living with a mix of locals and rental condos. The best family owned sushi restaurant right across the street and a couple general stores as well. A brewery for the adults and a McDonald's for the kids right around the corner within a three minute walk. Close to the Napili plaza as well that has some great food and groceries. A good, slower pace from the crowded Whaler's Village and Ka'anapali beaches. Family friendly!

Great people, great view. It did the job. This unit could definitely use some updating but it’s still better than a hotel. I hope y’all throw away the comforter as the feathers have shifted to the edges making it very uncomfortable to sleep.

The balcony is wonderful! Beautiful views of the ocean as well as the islands of Lanai and Molokai. The kitchen has everything you need for making meals, and we were glad there was an ice maker in the freezer. It did get hot inside since there is no air conditioning. We did not spend a lot of time indoors during the day so it was ok. We did leave the balcony door open overnight and it was refreshing to have a nice breeze. This unit is very convenient and within walking distance to some local restaurants.

We enjoyed our stay. Screen door lock needs to be replaced as screws won't stay put. Very strict policy with no admittance before 4 PM. That means if you get there at 1:30 in the afternoon and want to hit the beach you will have to leave all of your belongings in the car. Never a good idea in Hawaii.

This is our third stay in this unit and probably the last. It’s just gotten worn down..the pillows, the bed, broken beach chairs. Doesn’t have the charm it used to hold for us sadly.

The ocean view alone gets five stars, it is amazing. You also get a great view of the sunset. Note, this unit does not have an A/C, which we were not aware of. However, I don’t know if any of them have A/C’s. Honestly, you don’t even need it. There is enough breeze through the day. We kept the bedroom windows open and the balcony door open. At night there was a cool breeze and you fell asleep to waves crashing and woke up to the same. It was awesome. If I had anything to critique, it would be the decor - it’s outdated, but we weren’t inside enough to really care. The view makes up for that. The place was clean and comfy, which is all you really need.

The view was incredible. The space is perfect for a small family or group of 4 people. Close to everything in West Maui. Decent drive to the other side of the island, but well worth it.
