We had an amazing time on our trip to Maui. The check in process was seamless. Our communication with the host was phenomenal from beginning to end. The property is exactly as described. It is an oceanfront property with stunning views of the ocean and mountains. From the balcony, we saw turtles swimming in the ocean. Snorkeling at this location is great also. We saw many different types of fish when we snorkeled and we didn’t have to go far from the shore. The property is within 10 minutes to various beaches, shops, restaurants, and a Safeway grocery store. I would definitely stay here again!

This unit will take your breath away with the views from every room! The kitchen had every amenity you need and we ate our breakfast every morning out on the lanai watching turtles swim. The unit was clean and spacious. We utilized the beach chairs provided along with the boogie board. It's a great location and the pizza across the street at Dollie's was delish! Thank you, Joe for opening up your place for us to enjoy the beautiful island of Maui!

The host is professional, the place is clean, the views are out of this world and the location is great for exploring West Maui.
We woke up to the sight of rainbows nearly every morning, saw sea turtles from the balcony and whales out in the distance. Our daughter slept on the pull-out sofa that was actually comfortable.

We stayed 6 nights and loved every minute of it. The views are unbelievable and are the main reason I chose this particular condo. We saw sea turtles and plenty of whales. The condo itself is lovely and has everything you need to feel 'at home'. The host was wonderful, kind and always available if you have a question or need.
The unit is located near a gas station and large convenience store (food, sandwiches, beach necessities and a variety of alcohol). Very convenient. We would definitely stay here again! Thank you, JP!!

My husband and I stayed here for our honeymoon. When we opened the door, we were BLOWN away! The pictures don’t do the view justice AT ALL! On top of the amazing view, the place itself was great and extremely clean. The technology is more updated than the pictures show. There is internet, smart tvs, new ceiling fans, etc. There was a coffee maker, keurig, boogie boards, pool noodles, and a washer and dryer. The parking lot was feee never full which was a relief. The lobby was super nice as well! Overall, I loved everything about this place.

The Ocean view Is definitely the highlight of this property . as we did see Whales and turtles they greeted us every morning and even saw signs of dolphins there is no air conditioning but there’s plenty of fans to keep us cool bed was comfortable for the two of us the kitchen was fine. The closer to the front door is broken and the door will not shut unless you lift the arm over the top of the door The bath tub faucet continued to drip when it was shut off and the water system for the sprinkler in case the fire leaked on the floor by the front door ordinarily it would not be a big deal but there was a water shortage but we are fortunately not affected by that. I would definitely return

The host was amazing actually allowed us to check in about 3 hours earlier than noted. Very kind and courteous. Now for the property, the most amazing place a person could ask for in maui! The view is second to none with the entire front and part of the side being completelly Oceanview! The property is clean well equipped and in amazing condition! On our next visit to maui we will be booking our trip around being able to stay at this property most definitely! They don't get better than this! Absolutely breathtaking!! Couldn't be happier! The pictures are 1000% accurate. If I could leave a Review higher than 5 stars I would!

The views were spectacular. The panoramic windows and views of the ocean are so beautiful. We saw whales and turtles from the balcony and amazing sunset views. Beds were comfortable, and everything was clean. My only complaint would be the bathrooms are very outdated and need to be re-done.

We so lucked out with this place. Exceeded expectations. It is a corner unit at the end of the building, so there is no foot traffic in front of your door. Great property, quiet, tastefully decorated and with views of Lanai, Moloka’i and even a bit of Oahu. We could see turtles every day from our balcony. As far as tech goes, reliable WiFi and loads of viewing options on the two large flatscreens. In short: a real find.

This condo was perfect for our getaway. The beach was an elevator ride away and we utilized the beach chairs and cooler everyday! We watched sea turtles from the balcony and enjoyed the 180 degree ocean view. Local accommodations were a walk away. We would absolutely stay here again!

My husband and I just stayed for 9 nights at Joe's incredible condo. The minute we walked in we knew this place was our dream come true. We relaxed on the comfortable lanai most of our time in the room. The condo had a comfortable bed and linens and we would sit up in bed and look at the water. The shower was strong and the towels were very soft. The kitchen was well stocked but we ate out or brought in food! We loved being on Kahana Beach because we saw almost all adults. We took our kids to Kaanapali Beach many times and that is the best for families, they have all the fun pools, restaurants and shops. Celebrating our 30th was perfect for a quiet beach like Kahana. Beach chairs, snorkeling gear, boogie boards and a few other things. we in the closet. Joe was able to help us immediately with one question. The lobby is very welcoming and the complex is always very clean. Free parking is a perk and there were always open spaces. We loved the Japanese Restaurant, Miso Phat right across the street. I love reading people's reviews of condos so I hope this helps the next person know that this is a 5 star vacation rental!

The Apartment
For starters, the place is not only exactly as described in photos, it is BEYOND. It is on the 11th floor, and is a corner unit and we heard almost no noise from neighboring units. The building as a whole was full of a respectful and kind crowd and all tenants/renters seemed to respect the night-time quiet rules. The views were STUNNING and the constant breeze with a balcony in both the living and the bedroom cooled of the unit nicely during the day and at night. The sound of the waves at night was amazing!!! We slept with the patio doors open (screens closed) every night. During the day, keeping the door near the kitchen open creates a perfect cross breeze. The kitchen had all the amenities, including dishwasher, washer, and dryer, and the stove top and refrigerator almost seemed brand new! The bathroom was on the older side, but extremely clean, had a toilet separate from the sink (I hate when places have them in the same room)!, and the water pressure was great! The towels were also white and fluffy, and there were plenty extras. Bed was extremely comfortable and there were multiple fans in every room which was much appreciated!
The Beach
The beach was exactly what we were looking for. We were in Maui for our Honeymoon, and it was so nice to have a beach-front property that wasn't extremely crowded. It was perfect for spending all afternoon in the water and then relaxing in the sand afterwards and there were ALWAYS sea turtles!! As we walked down and visited some of the other properties along the west side many of them were over crowded or didn't have a sandy part at all. The host also provided chairs, boogie boards, and snorkeling gear!!! Also, the sunsets are worth a million bucks!
Surrounding Area
Again, we couldn't have asked for a better surrounding area. A kick-butt sushi place across the street, Maui Brew Co., around the corner, and and equally great coffee shop next to the brew co. It was also just a short drive away from some beautiful hikes and other beaches. It was also nice that there was PLENTY of parking on the premises. Never had any issues at all.
Again, I will stay here time and time again!! The host was responsive, kind, and even left a sweet note! When I couldn't figure out how to operate the fan at 9:00pm the host responded right away.
I'm sad the most stars I can give is 5! I'd give 5,000!

The view from the balcony was amazing. We watched sea turtles each morning. The property is lovely and the improvements to the unit were well done. The bathroom is dated for sure but it was clean. The washing machine was a bit moldy smelling so we didn't use it. The beach outside the building is pretty small and there are sandbags lined up along the entire beach, but there was a little beach it was just smaller. The listing was very clear that there was no AC so we knew what we were getting into... the host provided lots of fans, but the key seemed to be keeping the front door open so the breeze went through the entire space. We were able to manage fine with the fans...but even with the fans, it was hot. Overall we loved the unit but I think it's important to understand that it will be hot.

My husband and I enjoyed a magical 6-night stay at this beautiful condo. The location is truly unbeatable. The views are spectacular. Photos can’t even do it justice. The unit is clean and equipped with everything you’d need for a stay at the beach. The host was accommodating and very communicative. From the moment we booked our stay until we checked out. This place is just amazing, gives 180 degree views of the ocean. We spotted a lot of huge turtles right from our balcony. The balcony is the perfect place to see amazing hawaii sunsets. The place was clean and well lit. 100% recommend this to anyone wanting to visit Hawaii to relax. Owner was very prompt in responding to any requests or questions we had.

This condo is better than the pictures! The view is amazing! We saw many large sea turtles and gorgeous sunsets from the lanai. The place was very clean, nicely decorated, and the linens and towels were like new. Although we didn't use the kitchen much, there is now a full frig where the washer /dryer stood, and many appliances available. We were lucky enough to stay a few nights between booked dates. No a/c wasn't an issue as there are darkening shades on all the windows which we kept closed while we were out, and simply opened the doors for the breeze in the evening. The place is the last door on the floor so very private. Wish we could have stayed longer at this lovey condo!

You cannot go wrong with booking this beautiful place. We were amazed from the moment we walked in. I’ve stayed in many rentals and many hotels across the world but I have never stayed in a place like this. The scenic views all around the apartment, the beautiful details, and having everything you need makes this place unique and special. My teenage daughter and I both loved everything about it. I was worried about not having an air conditioner since she easily gets hot and cranky but we slept comfortably with all the fans placed strategically around. I just left the door open so the breeze can come through like other guests suggested. Definitely book this place for an experience you won’t regret!

We saw countless turtles and rainbows from the lanai. Would be fun to see whales, but we were not here during the right season. This condo is perfectly located. We were with if 10 minutes to Lahaina, Napili, Ka’anapali, and Kapalua. Thank you for the use of a cooler, beach towels, and the beach chairs!!

We had such a lovely stay at JP’s place, the apartment itself is so clean and nice! It has the most incredible views! Not only do you get front row seats the most beautiful sunsets on the island, you can look off the balcony and see all of the sea turtles swimming just below! The beach below is perfect for swimming and the whole vibe of the complex is really great and relaxing. The bed is so comfortable and you can fall asleep to the sound of the waves and have the best sleep of your life.

We had a great time! The view from the 11th floor was spectacular. We could see seals and sea turtles swimming in the gorgeous blue waters. Good restaurants near by made it convenient to walk and we enjoyed the sushi place that was on food networks dinner drive in and dives. We wish we had longer to stay and hope to be back!

We had a great time staying here. The view is incredible and we caught the tail end of whale season so we could just sit on the balcony (or even in bed) and watch whales break the surface and breach. Also from the 11th-floor view we could look down and spot the sea turtles swimming in the water below. Both of those experiences made us feel we were in our own lookout, able to enjoy the nature around despite being part of a broader condo complex.
The condo itself was clean, had all the necessary things in the kitchen, and the beach chairs and cooler were great to have.
It's a short drive to some of the popular snorkeling beaches. (We did try snorkeling with the turtles off shore by the condo but it was quite murky from the waves kicking up sand.)
With all the windows the sun can make the space quite warm in the afternoon, but they have great window shades that help keep it cool.
The bathroom is a little dark and cramped, but that was the only thing we could find something to complain about :)

Look down over the balcony to see massive sea turtles, or look off into the distance and watch whales breach on the horizon.

This 11th floor apartment has a corner space with views all around. It was an amazing space for this marine biology loving family. My husband and I would have never left the front row seats of the lanai if it wasn't for our kids age 9 and 10.
Kitchen stocked with necessary utensils and various coffee making appliances (Kereg and Mr Coffee old school). Washer/dryer were handy. Beach was good, walk south 50 yards for sandy entrance and less coral or snorkel right in front for great turtle watching. Host was responsive and great. We will stay here again.
This is an older building, trade winds hit it legit hard but that allows for a cool space without AC. If you are high maintenance stay at the resorts if not this place is an amazing bargin!

The 11th floor was absolutely amazing. The view was like no other. The location was ideal for us. Reasonably close to beaches, restaurants, shopping and the Catholic Church we enjoy attending. We were very happy there.

The pictures from VRBO were very accurate. In fact, the view is more spectacular. We watched whales and turtles from the balcony. The unit was clean and ready upon arrival. It gets warm when the sun comes in through the windows, but fans are provided and we had no trouble getting a nice breeze moving through. It is a quiet area with only a few eating locations within walking distance, but we actually really enjoyed the lowkey vibe.

There is a lot to like about this unit. The view from the 11th floor, looking straight down into the ocean is spectacular. Being able to watch turtles and whales swimming by while drinking morning coffee on the lanai was fabulous. The pool was nice and rarely crowded. The lobby was beautiful.
On the other hand, the people working at the front desk were not friendly. The furnishings weren't comfortable. The beach in front of the property seemed to have washed away at some point and has been replaced by piles of sand bags. The waves crashing on the sand bags was loud, and sometimes shook the building.
Overall, the view outweighs everything else but 'luxury' is a misnomer.

We are just leaving now. We love the location and the view from the room. Coffee is a thing for me and they had botha Keurig and a regular machine. Loved eating breakfast on the lani and watching sunsets in the evening. For people worried about no AC... As long as you have door open and fans on the wind blows nicely through and cools off to the perfect sleeping temperature. Would for sure recommend this place to anyone.

Stayed here for the western Maui portion of our honeymoon. Location was excellent - great views, snorkel rental shop right across the road, and so many turtles! Kitchen was well stocked with dishes and bed was comfortable. We really enjoyed our stay here, and close to many other attractions on the west side.

There was one problem, when we arrived the place had not yet been cleaned. We reached out to the owner and he was very prompt in his response. The cleaner was there within 30 minutes. We just went out to dinner and came back to a very clean beautiful condo. Best views I’ve ever had on Maui. The snorkeling right in front of the condo was great, turtles galore!!! I would definitely recommend this property! I will be back!!!

A beautiful ocean view with large windows from the kitchen table as well as bedroom. This corner unit offers an amazing view with a balcony perfect for eating and watching the numerous turtles swim by. We say a manta ray swim by our first night. The kitchen has minimal knives for cutting fruit but we only had breakfast at the condo. Despite the condo. being older with dated furniture, it was still great for the view. We were happy to stay!

You can’t get much more ocean front than this! You feel like you are on top of the ocean in this beautiful condo. We used the outdoor grills and cooked most of our meals to eat out on the lanai because you just cannot beat this view. Best seats in the house! We also loved going to sleep and waking up to the sounds of the ocean. Laying in bed was super relaxing. In the morning we would have coffee on the lanai and watch the many turtles swimming down below. The unit has no AC but it wasn’t a problem since it cooled down in the evening and portable fans are provided. We loved this place and definitely plan to return.
