We really enjoyed our stay. Great location, close to nice sunset spot and Hideaways beach. Beach supplies (chairs, umbrellas, cooler) got a lot of use. My only complaint would be that the bed in the master was not very comfortable. Personal preference of course.

This was a great place to stay with our 2 kids. Condo was clean, well stocked, and great location. Pool and hot tub were right next door. Will definitely stay again!

Love the location. Right by the pool and Hideaways Pizza. Easy walk to a beautiful look out. The place stays cool without an A/C. Kitchen is well stocked. Condo could use a little refresh- new mats/rugs and a trash with a lid would be an easy fix!

Being in Princeville is great. Having a paved path down the Hideaway Beach that is beautiful and fun is even better. The condo doesn't have ocean views and tended to have less breeze that we prefer. It was great for just the two of us but there would be real lack of privacy if traveling with another couple with the open balcony bedroom upstairs. Great for traveling with kids as its close to the pool. Lots of bird watching on the patio. Beds were average comfort.

We absolutely loved our stay at Pali Ke Kua # 5. The house is large and has all amenities you need for comfort. I was especially impressed with the books on local birds and plants. My kids loved to identify the birds they saw during the day. Lots of beach equipment in the closet - boogie boards, beach chairs, umbrellas. And nice touches like labeling switches for our convenience, welcome leis and a box of chocolates won my wife's heart. The house was pristine and sparkling; the cleaning crew obviously did a very thorough job. Great location, too! The pizza place next door is pretty good, and there is a great spot to watch sunset within 5 minute walk. Overall, we had a wonderful time in this place in our vacation, and when we visit Kauai next time, would love to stay here again.

We loved our short stay in Princeville! The condo is terrific - clean, spacious, well-equipped - everything we hoped for. Communications we’re prompt and clear. Only wish we had stayed longer — next time for sure!

I would definitely stay here again. The condo was very clean and well equipped. We loved all the Kauai books about hiking and other activities in the area. It's a short 1/4 mile walk to an area called Kenomene Ocean Sunset Outlook with benches to watch the sunset and whale activity. The neighborhood is very quiet ( except for the ever present roosters :-) ) There is no air conditioning, but there are plenty of vented windows to enjoy the trade wind breezes and fans in every room. We loved sitting on the back lanai to enjoy the mountain view and our daily visit of the Nenes and other beautiful birds. Looking forward to our next visit.

Well stock kitchen, beautiful mountain views. Good ventilation even without A/C there are 5 ceiling fans in the unit. One of the closest units to the swimming pool.

My wife and I stayed at this place for our anniversary trip to the island. The unit had everything we needed and was way bigger than we needed. Bathrooms were nice and we appreciated the extra beach towels, chairs, umbrella and more. The cleaners did good work. The furniture was comfy and the space provided a lot of relaxation. In a quiet area with plenty of parking...we walked to princeville every morning for breakfast. We look forward to returning.

We really enjoyed our stay in Princeville/North Kauai and this unit worked well for our family of four. Our 2 teenage sons used the 2nd/loft area bedroom and so the 2 larger beds (1 king + 1 queen) worked really for us. The unit is older, but very well maintained and has specific amenities (local artwork, lots of books, games, Kauai guidebooks and cookbooks, etc) that were a unique and thoughtful touch. The private beach was also very nice, although the path to the beach - while paved - was quite steep and requires a certain amount of fitness to get up/down. We only had 1 issue with the unit during our stay, and that was the dryer was down; however, I was very impressed with Vacasa's local property managers calling us in advance of our arrival to alert us and issuing a small credit for the inconvenience. (I believe the part for the repair was to arrive shortly after our departure). We had not been to Kauai before but hardly left the area given its proximity to nearby Hanalei and other north shore beaches, shopping, etc. Absolutely loved it!
