It was very nice, spacious, great Lanai, and great location. Would just recommend some more maintenance to fix some things like screen door to patio, lamps in living room, the safe. And just some more attention to cleaning.

Good location with a twenty minute walk to A Bay beach. Pool was lovely, beds were comfortable, showers and bathtub were great. Only downside was lack of salt/seasoning and coffee filters, and there was no filter in the Britta water pitcher, so kitchen wasn’t fully stocked.

Loved everything about our week long stay at The Shores, Banyon Tower... thank-you! No surprises, everything as advertised, great property managers. Modern bathrooms, comfy bed master bedroom, wonderful community pool and hot tub. Would stay again definitely.

This property is located in one of the best tourist locations (Waikoloa) on the Big Island and is one of the closest condo developments to the beaches. It is surprisingly roomy and has a very expansive deck which adds to the feeling of spaciousness. It is extremely well equipped, particularly in the kitchen, and it would be easy to cook for several people or entertain with what is provided. The property is very peaceful and quiet and it has peekaboo views of the ocean from the deck. The finishings are very luxurious and the master suite is particularly well done. We used the air conditioning occasionally and it works very well; the rest of the time we had the many sliders and windows open and it was very comfortable. We did a lot of walking from the property to shops, restaurants and beaches - most things are within a reasonable walking distance, but there is also shoreline access parking nearby if you don't want to walk to the beaches. We recommend this property very highly and hope we have an opportunity to return!

Great Waikoloa location, and everything you’ll need for a comfortable stay on the Big Island. We used the beach chairs and beach towels in the condo every day, and enjoyed meals and relaxing on the large lanai. Kitchen has everything you need!

We had to call for help and it was only the 4-digit code that the 800 operator finally provided that allowed us entry. Ridiculous to have guest use 10- digits when 4 (probably used my cleaning staff and management)finally got us entry.

Excellent location to beaches, saddle road to Hilo, walking among a few things. Condo had everything we could ever need. Beach towels, chairs, mats, washer, dryer, rice cooker and coffee pot. Second time renting and I would do it again.

Our family of four thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. The grounds are impeccable, including the pool which we couldn't get enough of. The sunsets from the deck were incredible! The condo itself was well equipped and very comfortable. Ample towels and space to spread out. There is some general wear and tear that comes with a rental, but nothing was out of repair. One note for those with littles, the 2nd bedroom with twin beds has rather sheer coverings. Would be difficult for naps and makes for early mornings! Plus for littles was the step stool found in the closet to help reach the sink and sand toys! Thank you for the lovely rental!

This vacation rental property was lovely. Spacious and comfortable with a relaxing balcony to enjoy the beautiful sunsets. Location was great for a short walk or drive to the beach and shops. Maintenance items were promptly responded to. We found limited TV channels for viewing but with such a beautiful area … who really wants to watch tv? Would love to return to such a nice home away from home!

For the cost it was a good value. The unit is great for a small family. It is difficult for 2 adult couples because one bedroom has twin beds, but, the unit is very comfortable, clean and well maintained. The lanai is great for morning coffee or breakfast, evening cocktails or dinner and afternoon sunbathing. The only drawback is you have to drive to do anything except to the pool.

We stayed 5 days and really enjoyed the place. The pool is nice for taking a dip to cool off after a walk or hike. And, it's only a short 10 minute walk to the beach. We would definitely stay again.

The place is nice, relatively clean. The positive side of things : There are a lot of room to sit and relax. The sofa is comfortable, the master bedroom's bed is comfortable. The master bathroom has tons of counter space, and the shower is nice. The kitchen has all the pots and pans you will need for cooking. The AC unit work very reliable. The place provide some coffee and sugar, and washing detergent and dryer sheets, which is very nice. There are pool towels also. The negative side : The dish washer is out of order, not all the lights are working (one of the bedside lamp does not work), the bathtub has some chipped area, and beside some sugar, the kitchen has no other cooking materials, would be nice if the kitchen at least have salt and pepper. Each of these negative issues are not a big deal, but still a bit inconvenient; therefore I only give it a 4 stars instead of 5.

We arrived a day late thanks to lack of crew to fly our final leg to Kona. But arriving good instructions on access and pleasantly greeted by a super clean 2 bedroom unit, very close the our meetings at the Hilton. Recently turned over on ownership, not all the upgrades were in place...dishwasher not working, in need of a new oven and microwave (working but limping). The new AC unit kept the unit at an even 74 for us. And the new clothes washer/dryer were wonderful. With easy access via elevator to the third floor there were no issues with stairs. Reserved parking was excellent. The tennis courts were prime and just around the corner. There is virtually no water view, one of the benefits of many housing units. All in all, a very pleasant stay.

We vacationed in 10-11/2021 and appreciated having plenty of space/ no crowds in the midst of the pandemic. Please note the official pool rules don't allow water toys. Not sure if it was the pandemic or the time of the year but over half of the times we were the only ones in the pool anyway so in the end, we had a blast. If you have little ones, want to stay put in Waikoloa area and have no wagon to pull them around, do get a rental car- the walking distances to Marriott beach and the market are somewhat inconvenient. The check in/ out and checking on us messages came in conveniently. I'm not keen on vacationing in the same destination twice but if I were to return, I'd rent this place again in a heartbeat.

Easy check in. Property clean and spacious. Lanai is huge. Had everything we needed. Laundry pods, snorkel gear, boogie boards, beach umbrella, beach towels, beach chairs and a rice cooker. Was not lacking for anything except the pool which was still being worked on during out visit. They did have another pool available to us at the property next door. Close proximity to shopping. Designated parking spot was also nice. Visitor parking close and accessible for extra cars if needed.

This property is a great location. Easy walk to beaches, shops and restaurants. We stocked up at Costco. The Gourmet Market is a bit pricey but very well stocked. The pool was under construction but I could not hear a thing inside with windows closed. Sitting on the Lanai after 8am was a bit noisy. I chose to walk to the beaches. Which are beautiful. Highly recommend.

We had a lovely stay at the Shores at Waikoloa #323. The condo was clean, cool and close to the pool and to two amazing local beaches Hapuna and Beach 69 (our favorite). The unit was well stocked with pots and pans, the fridge was large and lovely and it was great to have a washer and dryer in the unit (they even provided washing pods). The dishwasher lower rack is wonky - but usable. I would suggest that the owners supply a few more microwavable bowls as there are only 2 in the unit. The pool in the community is large and wonderful - a great place to relax after a day at the beach. The lanai is such a comfortable place to relax and visit - just not during the late afternoon hours when it is really hot out there. You do have a nice view of the sunsets over the ocean, though. It is a quiet unit and the folks in the other units are friendly and inviting. There are masks/snorkels and a boogie board and towels for the pool - which is really nice. The king bed was amazingly comfortable, but the twin beds were hard, squeaky, and not that comfortable - at all. A few final things that should be addressed by the owners - the cold water tap in the bathroom sink did not work and the plastic plants that are scattered throughout the home are dirty and missing parts. It is such a beautiful unit and location that these just detract from the experience. One final note for visitors - the food near the unit is expensive - so it might be best to shop on the way to your vacation rather than relying on local shops and the unit does not supply basics like salt, pepper... Thanks for a lovely stay - you will love it here.
