This property at Pili Mai was exactly what my family and I were in search of in Kauai. 2 bedrooms for the adults, and a pull-out couch for the kids. The kitchen was well-stocked with spices, pots and pans, and plenty of utensils.
The amenities were unmatched. Access to the pool next door, and the Poipu athletic club about 3/4 mile away. The athletic club is phenomenal! Great gym for those who want to workout. Pool with a slide, a gravel "beach" which the kids absolutely loved, and a poolside restaurant with great drinks for the adults.
Waking up every morning overlooking the golf course out to the ocean was another welcomed delight! We would definitely stay here again, next time we come visit!

This was our second visit to unit 7F. The unit has a nice ocean and golf course view. The beds are very comfortable. Kitchen is well stocked and the AC works well. Unfortunately, our unit was not ready by 4 pm as promised. We also found dirty dishes in the dishwasher and there were not any paper towels.

The condo was so nicely finished and new, and extremely clean! The location was great with easy access to all of Poipu, the location within the community was great as the pool was next door. It’s on the golf course with ocean views beyond. Fantastic place!

- The master bed was so uncomfortable. We had back aches the entire night, we kept tossing and turning, and my husband felt like he was rolling to the center of the bed. I moved to the couch for part of one night for more support. The pillows were also so uncomfortable. Other than the hard decorative pillows, the pillows had so little fluff in them that they provided no support, only neck aches. As sleep is so important to enjoy ourselves during the day, we would not stay at this particular unit again solely for this reason.
- The sheets/pillowcases were old and stained.
- There was no garage door remote control, at least none that was provided to us. We had to park outside, go unlock the door inside and go through the house and garage to open the garage door, then go back outside to drive the car in the garage. It was hardly worth the extra hassle.
- There was no ice upon arriving. We thought the ice machine was broken at first, but after an hour or so of investigating, we realized the ice machine was in the “open” position. You have to reach into the freezer and turn the ice machine to the “close” position. I’m not sure how guests are expected to figure this out themselves. The property manager said she would deliver a bag of ice the next day, but that never happened, and I didn’t receive any further communication about that.
- The lanai was in the sun in the late afternoon/evening, so unfortunately we could not have dinner outside.
- The hot tub was way too hot

Our stay in the condo was a delightful experience that exceeded our expectations. We enjoyed spending our mornings sipping coffee on the patio overlooking the golf course. My hubby was thrilled to be staying next to the golf course.
The well equipped kitchen allowed us to prepare food for our family reunion. The ice maker didn’t seem to be working so we bought ice. I wish I would’ve known the desk drawers had extra sun screen before I ran to the store. Overall, our stay was very enjoyable. We look forward to coming back someday.

My family and I had the best week at this place! Everything was super clean and felt brand new. We could see the ocean from the lanai. It was only 1 mile from the beach so great for walks or runs and super close to lots of shopping. My boys also loved going to the athletic club that comes with the place down the road every morning to work out, I would highly recommend this place. It was so relaxing and there is nothing bad I have to say about it!

Wonderful property! It was so nice to have our cup of coffee on the lanai every morning with the gorgeous view! The location was convenient, management was very responsive and kind, condo was comfortable, and it was so handy having a washer and dryer. We will definitely look to stay here again!

Absolutely beautiful property, unit is extremely clean and well maintained, and the view from the patio of the golf course and ocean is stunning! Pili Mai is a great base for hikes out to the ocean or up the old trail to Koloa Town. The two suite layout of the unit is ideal, the kitchen is well stocked, and the pool area and barbecues were great. Can’t wait to stay there again!

The property was roomy and clean. The ensuite bathrooms were so convenient plus the extra guest bathroom was helpful.
The location was convenient for the wedding we were there for, plus the touristy things we did. It was also a nice quiet location with the golf course as the backyard....it was beautiful.

My husband, daughter (12 years old), brother in law, and I enjoyed our stay at Pili Mai! The property is beautiful and it was quiet. We enjoyed hanging out at the pool/jacuzzi at the end of the day and exchanging wonderful stories with other vacationers. We had beautiful golf course views from the back patio and could see the ocean from a distance, at night we could hear the waves crashing. The condo is beautiful and clean, very well cared for, the beds and pillows were super comfortable which was a huge plus for us. The restrooms were nice and clean, the master bath was spacious. There were plenty of bath towels provided along with pool towels. The kitchen was equipped with just about everything we needed when we cooked our own meals (we bought our groceries of course) there was a nice variety of pots and pans and all the utensils available. Very nice and modern appliances, definitely enjoyed the Keurig, there’s also a regular coffee maker. There were some spices in the kitchen cupboard that we used. There was even snorkeling gear, boogie boards and beach chairs along with a cooler for drinks available to use in the garage! Down the road is a shopping village with a small market, boutiques, gift shops, good restaurants and gelato/ice cream shop (very delicious), we loved Volcano Pizza. There’s was so much to do and enjoy in the area and even if you venture out a bit. Everything was wonderful, I highly recommend it and I would most definitely stay again! :)

The facilities are great but the management team wasn't very helpful. Responses were quick but "no, I'm sorry" was the most common response. The dryer was broken and help was promised but never showed up. We asked for a late check out and never received a response. Other than that, we had a wonderful stay.

The condo was amazing. Plenty of room for everyone. Great views of the ocean and a fantastic covered patio to sit out and enjoy the views. It is located on the Kiahuna Golf Course. It is in walking distance to the beach and to shopping. Very quiet surroundings. Loved having the garage to put our golf bags in and not have to keep them in the car all the time. The design of the condo is great with split bedrooms and a very open concept kitchen/living/dining. Very nice master bath. Full size washer and dryer and a half bath. There is also a little desk area so you can have a place away from the main living area to use your computer. I would highly recommend this condo.

We loved sitting on the patio after our outings. The pool is great on the grounds. Nice location for visiting Waimea. Did a bunch of day trips on south side from here. 20 minute walk to beach.
Lots of resorts in this area- a pretty exclusively tourist district, so that felt contrived, but can also see benefits. This is not the quaint Hawaiian town feel- leave that to Hanalei, but it’s an immaculate, vacation amenity, golf course area that is lovely.
I’m glad we stayed here and on the North Shore of Kauai just to know the difference, and wouldn’t change it!

The condo was very clean, new, and had everything that we needed. The view overlooking the golf course was the perfect way to start our day, and the location is central to everything in the south part of Kauai. Parking is right outside the condo, so loading and unloading was easy. We would definitely stay here again!!

We four agree it was a great place to stay. The beach was the best on the island and we could walk there. The condo was well stocked in the kitchen, the laundry room, and for the beach. We enjoyed the lovely first floor location on the golf course, though we did not golf. We stopped at Costco going from the airport to the condo and cooked three dinners and all breakfasts. There is a nice gas grill for communal use that is cleaned daily. We did not use the pool but twice went to the Poipu Beach Athletic Club where membership is included with the condo. That was a huge perk, particularly on checkout day. I would definitely rent this unit again. My only suggestions are for more dish towels and a Bic lighter for the grill.

Overall, the property was as advertised, but it could be improved in a few areas. The location was convenient and the grounds were beautiful. The kitchen was nice, but missing a few touches. The utensils, plates and other things were of low quality. There was no liquid measuring device, a broken wine glass and the refrigerator ice maker didn't provide nearly enough ice so we had to improvise. The quality of the furniture was OK. We did have three lightbulbs that we had to replace. One was in the shower and the management company took care of that one while we used bulbs in the property to replace them. The beach towels were also in poor shape so had to be replaced by the management company.

Our stay at Pili Mai 7F was perfect. We were there 8 days. Super clean, lots of towels, toiletries, quiet, great view, within walking distance to shopping, restaurants and about 2 minute drive to Poipu Beach. Starbucks down the street - but Little Fish coffee is about a half block away with great coffee and food. The included benefit for use of the Poipu Beach Athletic Club was great. Pool, pool slide, kids pool, jacuzzi, great bar and restaurant served poolside. Condo pool is big and all grounds are well maintained. Poipu 365 is very responsive to inquiries - great communication and very friendly!

We went for our nephew’s wedding. We ended up with only 3 instead of 5 family members staying at 7F. The accommodations were wonderful! Very clean, comfortable, and close to our other family members. We were pleasantly surprised that they provided coffee, paper products, beach towels, cooler, etc. We never went to the athletic club as we spent most of our time at the house family had rented. I highly recommend.

The property and its description were accurate. It had lovely views of the golf course with the ocean on the horizon. We had two couples in our group, so having the two furnished rooms with an en-suite bathroom and closet was definitely a plus. The full sized shampoo, conditioner, and body wash provided was a surprise and greatly appreciated by all. The only complaint would be the spotty internet/wifi access. We tried watching movies at night, but service almost always cut out. We never knew when it would come back on. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and would definitely come back.

The management/owners should invest in getting some stainless steel cookware, more cutting boards, better knives, saran wrap, and aluminum foil.

We had 5 adults staying here and there was plenty of room! The place was had all new appliances and soft shutting drawers. It was clean, spacious and a 5 min drive to the beach! It was right on the golf course and a lovely outdoor seating area. It had a beautiful view, especially at sunset. We also made friends with some chickens living outside the condo! Would absolutely recommend!!!
