BEACHES & CRITTERS: The beach size in Hawaii varies month to month due to heavy surf, strong currents and tides. Due to Maui’s rural atmosphere you may experience the occasional rooster, as well as harmless geckos. Geckos are friendly, eat insects, and are considered good luck in Hawaii. Please don’t kill them.
IMPORTANT: Although the HOA schedules regular professional pest control services, pests such as ants, roaches and rodents simply cannot be completely controlled in the tropics. Hawaii is located in a tropical climate, and insects, rodents and lizards flourish in this environment. If our guest spot more than the normal expected pests, we always make our best efforts to contact and work with the HOA to minimize your interactions with these pests. Any contact with such pests within or outside the unit does not constitute a breach of this Agreement or give Guest any right to any refund or rental adjustment.

we have stayed at this resort 4 times, always in either of the 2 ocean front buildings, always 2nd floor.
Is probably one of our favorite places on Maui.
wonderful quite location away from the mega resorts, beautiful property right on Napili Bay, rooms are always nice and clean, staff are very helpful when needed.
And you get to be the first in line if you wake up early for Mac Pancakes at the Gazebo.
The VALUE of this property for what you pay each night is simply fantastic...
We will be back for a 5th time soon :-)

The view of the ocean is beautiful however, that is where the beauty stops inside this condo.
The bed was small, a queen which was my miss, since it says that on the description, but it was the most uncomfortable bed I have ever slept on. Lumpy and hard with no mattress cover so I could feel all of the patterns on the mattress.
There were several cockroaches, alive and dead, several alive ones were in the dishwasher when we opened it.
The bare minimum was used in the bathroom, a few towels, a hospital style box of cleenex and cheap shampoo and conditioner. The liquid hand soap was watered down.
The appliances are old and needs to be replaced. They look dirty. On the kitchen counters were ant traps and no matter how clean you try to make this condo look, it looks unclean.
We love Napili Shores and have stayed at other condos many times, this was the worst. I don't know how this place got so many five stars, unless they have a lot of relatives.

My husband and I took a much needed and long overdue vacation. This was our first time in Maui. We knew we wanted a place with an ocean view and this unit did not disappoint! We enjoyed the stunning views and sound of the waves. The unit was cozy and had everything we needed for our stay. The only downside if there is no direct beach access from the unit, but it is within walking distance. The Gazebo restaurant is fantastic!!

Nice property. We were with friends and had 3 properties altogether. Between us, we had everything we needed to cook, make drinks, etc. Two of us booked through VRBO. After 15 hours flying time and waiting in traffic 2 hours due to an accident, we arrived in property at 7pm. We were told the office was open til 10pm, but they closed at 7. The receptionist kindly offered to stay til we were checked in because the security officer was the least customer oriented person I’ve ever met (she was supposed to get us access after hours). They did not have either of the VRBO reservations! So frustrating given all the excellent comms from the property management company (for our unit). We were able to text the customer service line, but had to wait til all others were checked in for the receptionist to retrieve the email from our booking agent and get us in. So, ridiculous process fell apart somewhere. After an extremely long day, not what we needed. Once we got in, everything was fine and the beautiful location in Building I gave is great views of the ocean and the dozens of whales playing in the water. Nearby beach was great. I would definitely come here again, but would try to find a unit where we could book directly with the property.

The view can't be beat! Ideal location next to the pool and the bbq pits with quick access to the napli beach! You can hear the crashing waves all day n night. The place has the feels of a studio space but if you are gonna be outand about, this space is all you need. We love this location and the accesibilty to everythung. We would stay here again!

We love napili shores as this was our second visit. The only suggestion for unit I 270 is the bed and mattress really need to be upgraded. A king size mattress would be perfect. Also, if you had a bar type table and chairs for the patio you could see over the railing.

Very well kept up, great location on Napili Bay. Easy to find. Great sunsets over Molokai and Lanai. Watch the whales during their spring migration swimming through the channel right outside the resort.

We are a family of 3 with a 12year old and wanted a smaller, quiet property to enjoy Napili Bay. This unit was perfect for us. Although it’s a studio unit it’s quite spacious and located right on the ocean. The bed is comfortable and the unit had everything we could ever need. The main pool was right next to the unit on the ocean and was never busy in the afternoon when he hung out there. We loved our time here!
Two things to note about the Napili Shotes resort (does not reflect on this unit or owners)
1. The Gazebo restaurant located right next to the pool has delicious food so people line up from 7am to 1pm for a spot. The line up runs along the pool and is usually minimum 20 people deep. Order take out and eat it in your room & hang out at the pool after lunch.
2. Getting to the beach is tricky. You have to maneuver over rocks to get to the bay and time it before high tide. If you have any mobility issues you would need to go to a different public beach access down the road.
