The property was true to the pictures. Fabulous view! Great location and the beach was perfect. The only thing is that it did not have air conditioning, but nice breeze from the open center area of the building. But, you need to have the wooden louver windows open to get this breeze. At times when the louvers were open it could be noisy. They did have a lot of electric fans to use. They supplied a lot of beach chairs and beach toys. Overall, this is a fabulous place with a paradise view!

Great location, facility and view. However, the water heater broke and was out of commision for almost two days. Upon arrival the floors were dusty and left dirt on our socks. Several wall electrical outlets did not work. The master bed mattress was extremely soft and uncomfortable. The fans provided were not adequate to make the heat bearable. All else was quite fine.

We loved the location of the property and views from the property. The kitchen is well equipped with utensils needed. Kids enjoyed the beach and the pool at resort. Will book this again if we visit Maui again.

Condo was so amazing! When you waked in all you saw was unobstructed ocean. The condo was very clean with excellent amenities and had everything we needed for the beach or staying in and cooking in the fabulous kitchen. Trade winds kept the unit very comfortable so AC was never a concern nor needed. Beds were comfortable for everybody in our group. We enjoyed drinks on the Lanai at sunset (perfectly located for sunsets in June) watching the turtles or just hanging out on the greenbelt, ocean or pool. The beach out front was excellent but condo is located very close to several other world class beaches and nearby Black Rock has some of the best snorkeling in Maui! We used the BBQ grills and they were kept very clean and worked great for us. Only regret is we failed to realize the Maui Brewing Company is less than a block away until late in our visit or we’d of walked over there every day! This is our second time visiting Maui and I feel more at home each time I visit. We are planning another trip to Maui soon and I definitely will stay at this condo. Thanks again for everything!

It was great place with great view. I gave 4 stars overall due to lack of AC unit. We went beginning of April and it was still little warm. AC would have made the stay perfect. There were ceiling fans and portable fans all over but it wasn't the same. :( I can't imagine how hot it is during the summer time. :(

Our visit in this apartment exceeded our expectations, the view was so beautiful that everything else does not matter, but it really is a super functional apartment with everything you need to spend a beautiful vacation with whoever you decide is good for both children and adults . We have four grown children and we all had a great time here, the property has everything you need for your vacation as well as being close to Lahaina where you can have dinner on a boat, dive in a submarine or just go shopping. What impressed me the most was all the whales and turtles that we could see from the balcony of this apartment and on the beach. Thank you for having us, next year we plan to return and we will definitely return to this department.

Pros: on the beach, heated pool & extra kids pool/hot tub, restaurant on site, nice kitchen. Cons: no air condition so it was pretty hot inside even with the fans, only the kitchen/bathrooms are updated - the other parts are outdated and the furniture isn’t super nice, check in process was terrible because the front desk didn’t have our reservation and the management company of this condo was very difficult to get a hold of - they don’t answer the phone or text.

We had a really great experience here, the amenities and the condo were amazing. Facing the sunset every night from the terrace was a huge benefit! The whole place in general is TOP NOTCH, accept for the two beds in the same room together. Their like sleeping on the floor! Wouldn't be too much to upgrade to better mattresses. The Master bedroom one is fantastic!! Honestly that's the only negative thing I can think of.. We truly had a great time!! The beds are the only reason I gave it a 4/5

This rental had a lot of great qualities. I traveled with my parents, my husband, and my nine-year-old daughter. The unit had beautiful views and plenty of space for the five of us. I appreciated that the two bedrooms had nice separation from one another and provided sufficient privacy. A big reason that we selected this unit was because the second bedroom had two queen size beds which would allow my husband and I to share a bedroom with my daughter and avoid her from having to sleep on a pull out couch like many of the other units offered. Each bedroom had a full bathroom attached which is also great when traveling with a larger group. The kitchen is a nice size and the seating in the living room and on the Lanai is sufficient.
There could, however, be a few improvements to this unit. None of the three mattresses were very comfortable. We could feel springs coming through on the two queen mattresses in the guest bedroom. My parents also found the king size mattress in the master bedroom to be uncomfortable. Had we only stayed in the unit a few nights this probably wouldn’t have been an issue. But after eight nights on poor mattresses we were already to come home to our own beds.
There was a fair amount of beach supplies available for use including five or six beach chairs, sand toys, boogie boards and even pool noodles. We definitely appreciated the availability of these items and put them to good use. That said, the beach chairs were in poor condition and need to be replaced. I understand that a large number of guests put them to use throughout the summer but that might be an item that needs replacement annually, and wouldn’t be a huge expense for the owner.
Overall we enjoyed our stay. I would definitely stay at this resort again although next time I may look for a unit with better reviews on the mattresses. I’d give the unit a 7.5 out of 10.

We had a great time in Maui at this location. The unit was a nice size and for not having ac there was a nice breeze and lots of fans in the unit. They supplied chairs, umbrellas, boogie boards so that was nice. I enjoyed the restaurant on the property for drinks and lunch by the pool and beach. The picture on the website are the pictures of the unit but things are starting to be needing replaced just not as new as the photos. But overall still a place we’d stay in again. Loved the elevator to get our groceries to the fifth floor.

This entire property is clean and well maintained. It provides easy parking and on-site staff was friendly and helpful. The condo itself supplied everything you could think of for a short or long stay.
As an active couple we loved that there was a grocery store and resorts to have dinner within walking distance. The bed was really comfy and if you had more than 2 people there is a pull-out couch.
By far the best part was the water right outside the window to watch the sunset and activity going by. The sound of the waves was amazing to sleep to at night! Other than that sound,it was quiet and peaceful.
We will rent again if we are on Maui.

This condo is clean very well equipped with cooking equpment and beach goodies. Tastefully decorated and has a comfortable king-size bed. It has a fabulous ocean view across the channel to Lanai and Molokai. Green turtles saunter by just yards away. It is a peaceful spot with just the soothing sounds of lapping waves. Parking is free and easy, shops and small restaurants are within walking distance. Yes, I would recommend this unit and would rent it again.

This is my first visit to the island of Maui and the place is better than it advertised. There are lots of room for my family and tons of activities to do at the property. The bar and grill next to the pool had happy hour special from 2 to 5 pm. The balcony view is amazing for sunset. Highly recommended and will rent it again when we come back to Maui in the future. I stayed here over 20 years and let me tell you it was even better this time around. They have a great beach, you get the best of both worlds, a restaurant and your own kitchen to have a bagel or snack throughout your visit. They have kept the property clean and upgraded throughout the years. I was yet again impressed and will be back. :)

Our stay in Maui was fantastic! The condo was EXACTLY as advertised. The property was well maintained and beautifully remodeled. The apartment had everything we needed for our stay. Very clean and airy. When the trade winds blow, the breeze through the unit is fine; no air conditioning needed. Absolutely no noise from adjoining units. We spent most of our time enjoying the beautiful sunsets on the balcony after a long day touring the island. Incredible view! We will definitely stay here during future trips to Maui.

We had a great experience with this rental property. The unit is vert nicely remodeled. We adored swimming with all of the sea turtles out the front which we saw daily and the sunsets. The condo was clean and had all the amenities we could have needed. When we were at the condo we spent most of the time on the patio listening and enjoying the ocean.The location was excellent and the views amazing. Overall very happy and would highly recommend to anyone looking to stay in Maui!

We were a family of 5 from Norway that visited Maui for the first time and stayed at this place for 5 days. We loved the apartment that was big and comfortable. We missed A/C a little bit, but it was not a big thing. All the facilities worked great, and we will recommend it for everybody.

We had a wonderful time at the Sands of Kahana #354. It worked out great for a multi-generational family. The management team addressed our only problem in a timely manor. The only thing I felt that should be changed is the carpeting. The condo is beachfront so there is lots of sand carried in on your feet. The carpet had been cleaned just prior to us arriving, and with in a day had spots reappear. When you reserve this condo make sure that you rent a car because the store is about a mile from there. The restaurant/bar on site is really good and fun to go down to. We would definitely recommend this condo to anyone wanting to relax and watch the waves.
