My family of 7 traveled to Kauai the first part of October. We had 6 adults and 1 infant. The condo was so well equipped with everything a family would need to enjoy themselves both within the condo and outside. Tons of beach toys and a pak n play for the infant. This saves so much hassle to travel with all that gear.
It is located on a beautiful property, that has fabulous views of the ocean. Easy walk to Shipwreck's Beach and the Grand Hyatt, as well as easy drive (could walk, but hard with an infant) to the other amazing beaches nearby.
Super clean and Jenn was very responsive to a few questions we had during our stay. We will definitley return to this condo. Thanks for sharing it!

We had a wonderful trip with a large family group occupying this floor unit and another floor unit. The kids could run back and forth safely, chase lizards, swim with the adults. It was simply heaven! Great location.

location is great, with stunning sunrises, and hearing the soothing sound of the waves, especially at night..Also how the friendly birds that come right up to you on the lanai...My favorites were the zebra doves (smallest of doves) and the cardinals..The pool is fantastic and the bbq's grills worked out nice...Saved alot of money cooking our own food..Shipwreck beach is ok, but beware, very strong waves and undertows...Overall, we loved staying here...Thanks

The condo was very clean and very well stocked. There were two small issues though. The coffee pot overflowed twice on us and we had trouble with the remote in the bedroom for the fan and light. It may just need new batteries. Otherwise, everything was great. We really enjoyed it.

This review is long overdue. My family and I returned to this property in Dec 2022. We loved the space and decided to bring along my in-laws to experience Kauai again as well as enjoy the space with them. There was a total of 6 of us and the space was just fine with accommodating all of us. The in-laws took the master suite, the kids took the second bedroom, and my better half and I took the fold-out couch in the living room. As before we enjoyed everything that the space offered (see our review in 2021) including seeing breaching whales from the patio area. This space will always be in our hearts and when we return to Kauai, we'll be looking here first! Thank you!

Booked this as a surprise Christmas gift to the fam and it was excellent! Great space, so many items like kids beach toys, beach towels, chairs umbrellas that were so useful. Lots of kitchen items too, sugar, coffee filters, condiments, several fans which were needed when the breeze went away! lots of guidebooks, great internet. Perfect location, steps to pool, 5 min walk to Shipwreck Beach, drive right out of property to main road in Koloa. Great "back yard" for kids to run around, multiple outdoor grills. Had a little issue on checking in which was taken care of quickly by Jenni and her team, other than that and a few squeaky doors, it was AWESOME! not sure I can top this Xmas gift.

Clean and well- well maintained villa, roomy and equipped with everything you need in the kitchen to heat up or cook short-order meals for the hungry. The sounds of the waves rushing to the shore makes for a great appetite because we it is relaxing and exhilarating when we eat out on the covered balcony that faces the sea. What a great easy life that makes us forget the rush hour where we can from.

This unit was very well stocked with everything you could think of! Beds were comfy, nice living space, close to the pool! We also loved being on the green belt with the walking path. Close to shops and restaurants. NIce ocean view! Can’t wait to return to Poipu!

This condo is in a great location! You can walk down to the beach and get a great sunrise and then go over to Poipu Beach and see a spectacular sunset! Jenni has the condo equipped with anything you could want. Having beach towels, boogie boards, chairs, umbrellas, and snorkel gear sure made our trip that much better! Thank you! The condo, itself, is top notch! We will definitely be back!

The location was wonderful, accommodations were great. Proximity to pool, grills, ocean, hiking trails we watched whales from the lanai, saw see monk, turtles just down a trail from our condo.
The kitchen was fabulous-everything you could need! We will be back!

As the photo suggests, the condo sits with a beautiful view of the ocean. There is a beach nearby that is shared by a resort, which is about a 5-7 minute walk from door to sand. This was our first rental and don’t have anything to compare it to, but my daughter stayed at another rental location and said that this condo was well stocked with dishes, books, towels, beach items, a stereo, and even games!
This first floor condo has a good size living room and a nice master bedroom and bath. The second bedroom is a nice size and has its own bathroom. The kitchen has utensils, pots and pans and a large modern refrigerator. The cabinets have many glasses and plates which were very useful. There were even cleaning supplies for dishes, clothes, and other items.
We figured that many of the items that were in the cabinets were left behind from other travelers. When we left, we followed suit and left some items that could be used by future travelers.
The complex was quiet, and it was hard to tell there were other people in the neighboring condos. Parking was easily available and close to the condo. The manager was helpful and responded quickly to my requests using the system’s app.
After all is said and done, we could have stayed in nearby hotels, but with this condo, we weren’t crowded, enjoyed the sounds of the waves, and felt at home. We loved the space and would love to find a way to reserve it again for our next trip to Kauai!

Great remodeled condo with all the extras you would expect. It was a little uncomfortable with no AC but there were ceiling fans in each room. The sliding doors had screens but no locks so you had to close the doors at night minimizing air flow. The only negative is the mattresses in each bedroom need to be replaced. Way too soft. The closest beach was a 3 minute walk and there is a path to Poipu Beach that is a 15 minute walk. Lots of grass in the back off the condo for the kids to run in.

Loved the property, the location, and the amenities. The condo is very clean and beautiful, with a great layout! The owners have thought of everything you could want on vacation at the beach, and have supplied it…from beach bags and towels to boogie boards, beach chairs, males and snorkel. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook with and then some. I highly recommend this place, and will probably book it again. The only thing that could have made the stay more perfect would have been air conditioning; the many fans help with circulating the ocean breeze, though.

What a great vacation! Wonderful condo with all needed amenities and more! Lots of beach gear ( towels, chairs, and boogie boards) well as books, games, puzzles and cards. Beds comfortable , towels nice! Well stocked kitchen appliances and pots/pans for cooking. Also with great communication with owner/manager of condo. Definitely would recommend this condo and stay here again!

My family and I had such an amazing stay while visiting Kauai. Not only was the condo tastefully decorated, clean, and easy to find, but the host also provided everything we could need and more. From cookware, to towels, to beach/pool supplies, we had everything within easy reach! The condo is also perfectly located and made it very easy to explore Poipu and the neighboring towns. The complex is well-maintained, quiet, and has the most lovely view. We highly recommend staying here for families and groups — you get so much more for your money in comparison to staying at the nearby hotels. We will definitely stay here again during our next trip to Kauai!

Had everything we needed except air conditioning. Instead of air conditioning there were fans in every room to help keep cool but were loud. It wasn't horrible but we weren't used to that much noise at night. Had other minor inconveniences, door knob to bathroom wouldn't turn and had to be removed and the remote for the TV in the master had dead batteries.
The kitchen was nicely equipped with all the things we needed to cook/eat. The beach closet was a nice surprise. Multiple boogie boards, umbrellas and other beach items to use. The pool was good sized. Hot tub is located in a different neighborhood so we never used it.
Getting access to the condo was super simple with a coded lock box next to the front door. Additional keys inside were labeled for easy use. Wifi was easily accessed and speed was acceptable.
There are several good beaches nearby for snorkeling, surfing and swimming. The best beaches, in our opinion, for snorkeling and swimming were on the other side of the island between 1-2 hours away but the drive was easy.
Overall, we were really happy with the condo.

Sitting on the patio looking at the ocean through the palm tree's was just so nice. The condo was very spacious as well.
The tv was a bit complicated in the one bedroom- but was tired every night from great days to not fall asleep to a tv! Right next door to Shipwreck Beach and the Grand Hyatt which has a couple great restaurants.

From the property (clean, well-maintained, quiet, very comfortable, ocean view, and well appointed) to the location (nearby beaches, a heritage hiking trail, multiplicity of restaurants and activities) to the care of the grounds and the easy access to the pool and tennis courts, this is a perfect couple or smaller family vacation condo. We loved it and this was our second stay at the Sands and you will love it as well

This was our third time in Kauai and our second time staying at PoiPu Sands. The Condo was very clean,Kitchen was well stocked, nice view from the Lanai. We would recommend this accommodation to anyone considering staying in this part of the Island. Walking the Heritage trail, exploring the cave and visiting the Tortoise were highlights for us, which is all within walking distance from the Condo

We decided this is the best location on the island! After driving to different destinations for hiking and boating excursions we realized what a great area this condo is in. Great eats nearby. We had breakfast at Little Fish 3 times! Ate at Keokes 2 times. Found a Safeway about 20 min away otherwise Big Save nearby. St. Rafael's Church 5 min away. The beach was great, but waves too big to swim but could stand on sand and let water wash over feet, then head to the pool which was never crowded. Nice to be next to great looking resort without paying resort price. Views along shore and sunrise were fabulous!
Beds were comfortable and kitchen nice size for family of 5. A little warm at night without any AC but fans in every room.

Home was immaculate. (I have rented many VRBO properties and this one was the cleanest I have ever stayed in.). Beds were comfortable. Location is perfect. Pool was beautiful. Kitchen was well stocked. Appreciated the beach towels, chairs and coolers for our day trips. Owner was very responsive and easy to work with. Would definitely stay here again.

As a vacation rental owner myself, I appreciate staying at other vacation rentals that meet my high level of standards. This is such a place. Upon check-in I found the unit to be very clean. It is highly upgraded with no shortcuts that you find in other "updated" rentals - even the appliances are all top notch. The kitchen is very well stocked - and by "well stocked" I mean that it is stocked as well as anybody would stock their own kitchen, which was very much appreciated with a dinner gathering I had one evening. The floor plan is very roomy and well laid out. And lastly the location is great.
The only downside is that the unit does not have A/C. which is fairly standard in HI. I did not find this to be an issue, as I just opened up the windows and ran the fans at night. I was very comfortable. But if you like to keep your room at 72 degrees, this could be an issue.

Great location! The beach was a quick walk away, and the pool was almost next to our lanai. Shopping and restaurants were just a short drive down the road.
The unit had a beautiful ocean view like the picture shows, we really enjoyed it especially in the mornings. The kitchen had everything we needed for our meals, and the closet had what we needed for fun on the beach. We loved playing the board games.
This was our first family vacation to Kauai, but we're hoping not our last. We'd love to stay in this unit again! Thanks Jenni!!
