Great location for a family vacation. Pool access is excellent and a close drive or bike ride to the beach. Highly recommend this comfortable townhome. One warning: the stove dials are easily turned on by just brushing them as you access the cabinets. We found the far left one on multiple times which could be quite dangerous. Would definitely return.

I highly recommend this property! Everything was as advertised and was even nicer than the photos. It was clean and welcoming when we arrived. I would definitely stay here again. If there was one thing I could change, it would be some of the mattresses. They were not the most comfortable but we were fine overall. I would say that if you need a well supporting or firm mattress, you may not sleep so well on these beds. We loved the layout of the condo and it worked very well for us and our two teenage kids. Everyone had enough space! the location is also really good. Although it is not walking distance to the nearest cafés or stores, it is just a short three minute drive. The bikes were a nice touch. We had fun riding them around the neighborhood. Also, the pool was fantastic. hope to stay again!

I can't explain enough how fantastic our stay was here! The pool is right outside the backyard and the private beach is absolutely amazing and a quick drive and bike ride away with the included bikes was a huge hit with the family! The property was clean and fantastic, 3 beds, and 3 baths worked perfectly for our group of 4 adults and 3 kids. The kitchen was excellent, the only complaint was that the fridge wouldn't stay quite cold enough, but I will reach out to the manager and expect that to be fixed quickly. I cannot suggest this location enough!

My husband booked this condo for my 75th birthday visit. Our youngest daughter, her husband and 5 year old granddaughter stayed with us. What a great location! We walked across the grassy garden to the pool and enjoyed snorkeling at the Mauna Lani beach club. Everything was clean and worked well. We will book here again.

We have been to the Big Island numerous time, this is our first VRBO. The condo location is perfect, bikes included were such a bonus and the condo offered everything we needed. The only downside is the neighborhood has strict quiet hours, so for us on a 6 hr time difference morning coffee outside was restricted, along with star gazing.

We've stayed in the area before; this was our first time staying at the Golf Villas. We really enjoyed how close it is to the Beach Club and that it is smaller than other complexes.
The condo was perfect for our family, the close access to the pool was a plus. We all rode the bikes to the market together, which was a lot of fun, great that this condo offers this extra amenity.
It has enough space to have your family spend time together and get their down time too.
If you're looking for a home base for your vacation, this rental is a very good option.

After loading up on groceries at Costco, we drove the short 35min trip north through the black lava fields and came to the beautiful Puako area. The townhouse is nestled within a gated community that is surrounded by a manicured golf course. We were quickly surprised by how perfect the three bedroom, three bathroom townhouse was for us. My in-laws, wife and toddler, were staying in the house, the ground floor bedroom was perfect for the grandparents, no stairs to climb, while the mastesuite was spacious and had its own balcony for quiet morning coffees. Who am I kidding, with a busy toddler none of our mornings could be described as quiet but thanks to the green grass and 100 step distance to the pool we were able to easily keep him entertained. Speaking of the pool, it was perfect for our toddler to learn to swim. The deepest part is only chest high for an adult but it has many sitting edges and stairs for new swimmers to explore. There were multiple families swimming but with the unique shape of the pool it always felt like we had our own little spot. There is also a hot tub, that my wife and I were able to use later in the evening while the grandparents were putting the kiddo down for the night. There are many lounge chairs and even a BBQ in the pool area to use. The townhouse grants access to an exclusive beach which is only a 5 min drive or 10 min bike ride away. The parking lot fills up quickly in the morning so I actually had to drive the family to the beach drop them off with all the towels and then drive back to the unit and ride a bike back to the beach. It was easy and made the dip in the ocean feel like a reward. Where did I get the bike from you may ask, it is free to use as part of the rental. I believe there were at least 5 beach cruisers for use, as well as sand toys, pool noodles, beach chairs, basically everything you could need. The house also has everything you could want, laundry machine and dryer, dishwasher, large fridge and plenty of cupboard space to unpack all of the groceries. Large dinner table inside as well as a great outdoor covered area to dine alfresco. Also a great outdoor cooking area with a BBQ for grilling up a meal after a long day swimming. The area is quiet at night perfect to get some rest or just a short drive from restaurants, like the lava lava club if you want to get out. Can't say enough good things about the house or the quick professional responses from our hosts. Book now, thank me later.

My family and I (6 adults 2 small kids) thoroughly enjoyed our stay on the Big Island, much credited to the amazing amenities provided at the condo. The place was spacious, clean, welcoming, and fully stocked (bathrooms, kitchen, and the garage!). The hosts were very kind and welcoming, and provided us with water, snacks, and a personalized beach bag. The condo and the community is extremely kid friendly, including the nearby private beach, which also had great snorkeling. I would definitely stay here again.

This is our second time renting this beautiful home and we cant wait for our third! This end unit is located, in what we feel is the best area of all the Golf Villas.

This house served us well as a home base. However, most or the advertised extra amenities and beach items were either broken, mismatched or both. For example, we arrived to what appeared to be ample snorkel and fin sets only to find that it was actually 5-6+ sets of broken fins mixed in with some good and usable fins and no usable masks or snorkels. It feels more like a dumping ground of old cast-off gear. Even the bikes, which we were all very excited about, were either broken, flat or both.
We arrived to smoke alarms beeping and a broken faucet. The manager was accessible but it took a while to find the beeping smoke alarm as it had been tucked away in a random bag in the locked owners closet. The home was nice enough and could be great with some maintenance and upkeep as it looks and feels like a full time rental with needed attention and TLC to an aging unit.

This is a great property for families looking to enjoy the beach and other outdoor activities in the Mauna Lani area. The townhouse's garage is stocked with multiple bikes, a paddleboard, beach toys, boogie boards, and more--if you were to rent all those items you'd probably spend hundreds of dollars. There is a nice grassy area beyond the lanai, and the unit is very close to the pool. We don't have small kids, but I noticed the place had pack-n-plays, a high chair and even spare diapers. Nice layout. We will definitely stay there again.

The townhouse is in a beautiful location and looks just like the pictures. It is well stocked with everything needed to have a comfortable week. The pool is right out the back patio and beach less than a mile away. There is a restaurant at the beach with chairs and umbrella. Our grandkids loved the paddle board and other toys in the garage. We cooked most of our meals in the kitchen and patio grill. There is everything you need to prepare and serve meals. The property owners went above and beyond to answer questions and make us comfortable. They have a lot of the Aloha Spirit! We will rent this property again when our travels bring us to The Big Island.

From booking the reservation to our actual time at this home, our experience with the owner and the entire property was excellent. I would definitely stay here again when visiting Kona. Most importantly it was very clean, conveniently located, one of the closest units to the swimming pool and the amenities provided were much more than adequate (more than we even used). My family of 5 had a wonderful vacation staying in this beautiful home. There was plenty of space to spread out but also spend meals together on the lanai or in the dining room. Everything about the property was just as described, clean and comfortable with great amenities. We swam in the pool, rode bikes to the private beach, night snorkeled with Manta rays and deep sea fishing where we caught 4, 20 lb Ono! So much to do that is all close by including many sandy beaches, shopping and restaurants. Thankful for the perfect family vacation!

Six nights here in March 2022. unit is great with all you could want. Online photos are accurate. Condo was clean, furnishings newer, lots of fun stuff in garage. Only minor thing is that it was roasting hot inside when we got there at 11pm. We couldn’t cook it down well the first night to sleep but it was great thereafter.
Community pool is nice and pretty quiet. The complex is a little stricter than some… no “toys” in the pool meant we watched the property manager take away a tiny ball from a couple of little kids, which seemed a bit excessive. I got the sense the owners (many of whom were around) grumble a lot if rental families disturb the peace. It didn’t bother us personally though.
Community beach is just OK. Best part was having parking at the shoreline to walk / run the fishpond paths which we did daily. Beach itself wasn’t too busy - always had chairs - but the bottom is so rocky! We went up to Hapuna 2 days for best sandy bottom beach and boogie boarding with great waves. It was maybe 12 minutes drive and the highlight of the trip. Used all the gear in the garage for these excursions and was terrific.

This property felt like home! It was just what we expected. The only thing is that the HOA had too many rules that were a bit excessive for the price we paid. For example we were riding one of the bikes and came back to grab some water which we left the bike on the patio with intentions to going back out riding. Two minutes later Security knocked on the door and told us the bike can not be left on on the patio.

What a great place to stay! I went for a short 4 day weekend trip to celebrate my birthday, and the place was perfect! Close to shops, restaurants and of course the beach! The place is well stock with everything you need to start a meal. One touch that really impressed me was the personalized tote bag with chips and water! That tells you a lot about the caring hosts!

This condo is really splendid - the ad is entirely representative, as it is large, on 2 floors, and with high end finishes. We particularly appreciated the little things, like how the kitchen is partially stocked with those items that seem silly to buy for a week, such as cooking oil, salt, and some spices. Generous supply of towels, linens, and paper goods. The owners were easy to deal with, and responsive. For example, the cruiser bikes provided include a bike lock, which sadly was missing. When I pointed this out, we were provided a replacement. All in all a great place to stay.

We had an amazing 4 day vacation here!! The accommodations were spacious, immaculately clean, and gorgeous. Our family of four was able to spread out, rest, and relax. We loved the easy access to the community pool and really enjoyed walking along the fish pond and beach at the resort (a short drive away). We spent our days traveling around the island, swimming and snorkeling, eating delicious food, and thoroughly enjoying ourselves.

We loved the condo and all its amenities. Clean, spacious, and full of utility. Had everything you needed for adventures and fun, bikes, beach gear, bbq grill, basic essentials. Issue is with the HOA and the nosy neighbors. We were not aware of all the rules and codes of Mauna Lani. Kids splashing in the pool were told to stop. Towels and noodle drying on the lanai were asked to be removed, while we saw other condos doing the same thing. Flew my drone for a quick snap and one neighbor started screaming. Majority of the occupants here are retirees and elderly so just be aware. This place is wonderful if you like a clean, safe and peaceful oasis, but for a fun-filled family with kids there are some limitations.

This home and the property is exactly as shown and just as beautiful. The location to the pool and the easy trip to the beach was the best. We were a family of 6 which included a 4 and a 5 year old. You couldn't ask for a better beach or pool for them.
We did rent a 6 passenger golf cart that made trips to the beach and the grocery store a blast. The garage is FILLED with everything you need for the beach too. They even had fishing poles which was the icing on the cake for my avid fisherman of a Husband! We have only been home a little over a week but we are already discussing a return trip for next year. It was the best vacation ever!!! Thank you!

Nice home for exploring the Big Island's Kohala Coast. We enjoyed playing poker at the game table. The beach chairs, ice chests, umbrellas, and sand toys were a nice convenience. We didn't use the bikes as much as I thought we would.
Plenty of room for our family to unwind. The pool is just steps from the patio. It is a small pool used by owners who enjoy sharing information. We will definitely consider this home when we return to the Big Island.

What you see on line is what you get....plus there is more. The check in was easy and questions were answered easily by phone. We spent one day at the "Beach Club" which was easily accessed via the card provided. Other beach days were spent at Hapuna Beach, on other local beaches. The Kona coast has many sea turtles which were a delight to swim with. The beach chairs and umbrellas in the garage were great. We had a great time i a great place. The only glitch was the covid rules for Hawai'i. Of course, the Owners had no control over any of that.

This was the first time taking our children to Hawaii. We were so excited to stay at this condo. It did not disappoint us at all! This Condo is spacious, clean, well decorated and very comfortable for vacationing. Located on beautiful and well maintained grounds, close to the swimming pool but never noisy.
We were most impressed with how well stocked this condo is for every single need! From adventures at the beach to a well stocked kitchen, laundry, towels and every single bed was so comfortable. These owners made it so easy for us to spend quality time with our family and have all the equipment we needed to have fun on this beautiful island. The private beach is a great environment and easily accessible. Fun to ride the bikes around the area and grateful for the small market nearby. We loved our time here. I have stayed in a lot vacation rentals and this is definitely at the top of my list! Not only was it spotless, it had literally everything you could possibly need! The snacks waiting for us was such a nice touch after a long trip and the garage full of all the beach gear and toys was an awesome perk!
The home is located in a beautiful and quiet community. I haven’t slept so well in months! We loved being right across from the pool and having access to the Mauna Lani Beach. If you get to the beach early enough (we were there over a holiday weekend so it was busy) you can get a covered lounge chair - it was so comfy and convenient that we stayed all day.
The Mauna Lani is an awesome location! It’s close to all of our favorite beaches and not too far from Kona or Waimea. Having the bikes was great but it was a warm week and the kids didn’t use them as much as we hoped as it was just far enough that they weren’t feeling it 😂 I would recommend renting a golf cart during your stay! We learned that you could rent them when we arrived but they didn’t have any available so book it in advance! That way you can get to the beach and the shops easily - especially if you only have one vehicle.
The owners of the property were awesome to work with and check in could not have been any easier. Thank you for sharing your home! We can’t wait to be back!

We stayed in this Vrbo and due to an emergency had to extend our stay on the island and find another Vrbo. We absolutely hated leaving this perfect location and rental. The rental was not only equipped with everything we needed from Kleenex boxes (much appreciated during our emergency situation!) to beach toys, towels, bikes etc. Location is quiet and away from the business of "resortville". We appreciated the beach access which also had a restaurant, lounge chairs and rentals such as paddle boards and kayaks at the beach location. We were able to use the bikes to ride to and from the marketplace, but it was a ways and temperatures warm, so we chose to drive often. Favorite things: the quiet pool area just steps outside, outdoor grill, smell of flowering trees, griddle for pancakes, rice cooker, salt/pepper and a few spices, regular coffee maker and a kuerig, all the beach gear-coolers, floats, snorkel gear, washer dryer, quiet master patio in the morning, electric key lock (rather than having to find a key), quiet and super clean area! We were there for the Ironman which was held at the Fairmont, location was close enough to bike if needed. Will definitely stay again!

Very quiet community, It fit our whole family comfortably, it was nice having a full kitchen to cook meals in, having the pool so close was enjoyable our kids Went there plenty, for the most part had it to themselves, we also enjoyed the private beach (great snorkeling) also very quiet and very few people. We arrived late our first night and the only complaint would be discovering the air conditioning wasn’t working and the house was extremely hot, I was able to get ahold of Kevin and Kevin got ahold of the handyman (Josh) first thing in the morning and got things up and running in no time, THANK YOU JOSH! You honestly saved the day/our vacation!

Wonderful unit in a very well maintained neighborhood. Unit is enormous and well stocked with everything you need, even some snacks and sunscreen! Plus plenty of beach toys and bikes in the garage. Access to the private Mauna Lani beach is definitely a big plus to this property too, the beach is beautiful, quiet and there's great snorkeling there.
We'll definitely stay here again next time we come back to the Island.

We had an absolutely fabulous time at the wonderful townhome. We (my husband and I) went with our two young children (3 & 7) and my mother and sister there was plenty of space for everyone, all the amenities you could think of were provided (thank you so much for the mini fridge filled with drinks and snacks), and last but not least the amenities of the association were well maintained and very accessible. Our kids loved the fact that the pool was 50 ft from the house. The gym was conveniently located as well and access to the private beach club was a huge bonus. Kevin was great to deal with and very responsive. We can’t wait to come back and only wish we could have stayed longer!

We loved our time at Mauna Lani, the home was spacious, clean, and the property backs into a beautiful swimming pool and hot tub. We spent a lot of time on excursions but loved coming back to a spacious home with a pool (almost) in the backyard. I also found lots of information about the Big Island on his front desk, which also contained all the necessary information about the Private Beach Club, and passwords for WiFi. The kids loved having breakfast in front of the Big screen tv in the living room. We definitely took advantage of the three full bathrooms. Overall loved the home, loved the area and would definitely come back. Thank You Kevin!

As good as the townhouse sounds, it’s even better when you’re there! This was our 7 th trip to Hawaii and staying in condos. This one was by far the best equipped. Kevin's condo is more amazing than the photos can show. There are lots of windows, lights, and open space that make this condo very appealing. The location of the condo is perfect....near shopping and very close to the best beaches on the island. We loved having the extra long driveway since we had two rental cars, and being the end unit gave us extra privacy. Another nice thing was stepping out onto the lanai and having the swimming pool 50 ft away. The pool is warm, beautiful, and never crowded. My grandson loved it. You will love the fact that this unit also has 3 bathrooms. Wow! It was sure nice to have a shower for everyone when we came back from the beach. The amenities at this condo can't be beat...plenty of beach towels, nice beach chairs, umbrellas, boogie boards, a paddle board, bikes with helmets, coolers, etc....basically anything you would need for a day at the beach. Inside the house you are provided with enough tp, paper towels, and garbage bags to last a week or more. They also provided dish soap hand soap, shampoo, body wash, laundry soap, and dryer sheets. They even provide a few snacks and drinks for you! You just can't beat the amenities at this place! I also have to mention that you get the use of the properties private beach area. It's a great place to paddle board and they have lounge chairs and cabanas for guest use. I could go on and on about this property....its just a wonderful, clean, and well appointed property, and Kevin is a gracious, accessible host. You can't go wrong if you choose to stay here. Hopefully we will be back soon!

Our recent stay at this complex was a perfect home away from home. We loved every minute of our time at this property. The location and access to every thing we needed was beyond compare. The fun in the sun materials and toys were in abundance. We especially loved the Cruiser bikes! One of our hardest decisions was if we were going to use the pool or the private beach and both were so convenient and amazing for a day in the sun. The condo was extremely comfortable and had everything we needed to feel right at home. We loved it! Kevin was extremely responsive whenever a question or need arose he was immediate in his response to support us having the best stay ever on the Big Island. Thank you for the wonderful Aloha spirit.
