We had the most amazing time at Cynthia and John’s condo at the Sands of Kahana.
The unit was perfect for our family of 5 and much more spacious than the photos show. The views from the condo are unreal - panoramic ocean views. The unit is well appointed with everything you may need for a vacation stay.
The resort compound is well set up and the Beach House restaurant had fantastic food and service during our visit.
We had an amazing time and wouldn’t hesitate to book this unit with Cynthia and John again.

I’ve never stayed anywhere in my life with such an incredible view. We ate all meals we cooked on the patio. By far the nicest VRBO rental I’ve ever stayed. The owner is super responsive!

Away from the board walk - peaceful, calm and accommodating. The turtles off the beach, the pool, and restaurant made it difficult to leave the resort. We look forward to our return!!!!!

This room has the best view I have ever had and layout was great. It included everything you need in the kitchen and bathrooms. Even includes a first aid kit. Host had wonderful communication and advise for the room, resort and restaurants. Beach was just steps out of the building and beach gear was all available in room, Beach was not crowded and we snorkled with some sea turtles. Thank you for a great time!

Host was responsive and kind. Property was better looking in person then in the pictures… huge space with amazing views! The beach was easily accessed and a great place for the whole family to swim besides huge turtles every day (but don’t touch them.). Great location with short drives to restaurants and shopping. What an amazing place we will come to visit and stay again in the future.

Spent the week here with our family! The condo offers so many amenities and the location is perfect. Fully stocked kitchen and pantry, bath and beach towels, chairs, boogie boards and more!! Beautiful beach, pool and restaurant. They even have pickle ball, basket ball and tennis courts. We sat on the lanai every morning and most evenings to watch the whales jumping and turtles swimming and the most gorgeous sunsets!! The owners were amazing to work with and available to talk with at any moment. We hope to be back again very soon! Thank you for the most amazing memories that will last a lifetime!

This condo is remodeled beautifully and has every amenity you could want in the kitchen as well as for the beach! We are fellow vacation rental owners and know what makes a vacation rental great. The location is fantastic and the unit very clean. The views are amazing!! We will definitely stay here again…in fact we looked at booking for Feb 2024 but the unit is already booked!

The Sands of Kahana is by far our favorite condo! The location is amazing. The view from our condo is 2nd to none it’s just breath taking. The unit itself is well equipped, clean, up to date and spacious! It just doesn’t get better! We will be back.

We loved staying at this property! It was very spacious and it was beautifully decorated. The views of the ocean are amazing and it’s right on the beach. We saw a bunch of sea turtles while sitting on the patio every morning. This home has all the amenities you could possibly need and is a short drive to downtown Lahaina and Whalers Village. Our host was in great communication with us prior to and during our stay. Great location and beautiful space to relax!

This property lives up to the expectations we had based on the pictures. The views every morning and evening were amazing. The unit is in great shape. The property has a nice swimmable beach and is in a very good location close to Lahaina and Kaanapali. Communication with Cynthia was excellent and responsive. This condo is beautiful - comfortable to hang out in and the view is unbeatable. Private, quiet yet plenty to do for all at the property (snorkel, boogie board, paddle board, etc.). Within walking distance of great restaurants. The hosts were wonderful as well! Cannot wait to go back...

I do not say it lightly when I remark that this was truly the best vacation rental experience we've ever had! Cynthia was top-notch, from the first communication to immediate responses for a small onsite issue. The unit is exactly as pictured, the furniture is comfortable and the views are stunning. Most people make reservations at local restaurants because of the views, but there was no place better than eating "at home" to watch gorgeous sunsets from the balcony.
Every amenity you could possibly need (and not even realize you wanted) was included. The owners really set the gold-standard for how a vacation rental should be run. Our entire family was delighted and we would not hesitate to rent again!

This property delivered what we had hoped and more! The condo itself was well appointed and had everything we needed, in the kitchen, for the beach, etc. The views were unbelievable from every room! The beach was quiet and lovely. The Beach House restaurant at the resort was great for convenience. We had an amazing week at this property and hope to get back someday! We would definitely stay there again!

This condo is beautiful and the view is unbeatable. The condo is updated, beautifully decorated and more over very comfortable. The location with two balconies from which to view the ocean is just fantastic. As far as snorkeling and seeing sea turtles, the beach right below your windows was the best of the beaches we visited in Maui. My only warning (which is true of all ocean front properties) if you are a light sleeper you might want to take the back bedroom for a little less ocean noise ambiance. It became quite windy on our second day, which made the ocean noise quite a bit louder in the front bedroom, which didn't bother us, but might if you wake at every little noise. It was also nice to have the ability to turn on the AC during one of the hotter days we were there, but overall the ocean breezes kept the condo very comfortable most days. The owner is very thorough, thoughtful and helpful too. You can't go wrong with this rental!

Great condo. Everything you could possibly need was provided. Communication with owners was excellent with a wealth of information provided. Kahana location was perfect. No more than 15 minutes to Luau, shopping center, or Whale watching. Beach is literally at the base of the building. Condo is on fourth floor so you are above any palm trees with an unobstructed view a good 270 degrees. And being a corner unit we had the trade winds most of the time however if needed there was the air conditioning. Perfect condo in which to celebrate our 50 th Wedding anniversary.

The condo was exactly as depicted in the listing and exceeded our expectations, especially with the high ceilings, spacious bedrooms, living space and well-appointed kitchen. The furnishings were comfortable, inviting and set the tone for a lovely and relaxing stay. The views were spectacular as we enjoyed the morning light, gorgeous sunsets and whale activity in the distance on the lanai. Easy access to the beach was a bonus. Plenty of chairs, boogie boards, coolers and beach gear was very convenient. Ocean activities abound with surfers, paddle boarders, kayakers, and snorkelers. Easily sleeps at least 2 families with plenty of room in each bedroom and bathroom. The 2nd bedroom's view was just as beautiful. Overall, we were impressed with how lovely the condo was with its convenient location on West Maui and the most spectacular views.

This past December, myself, my wife and another couple were able to stay at this spacious, updated and well maintained property at Sands of Kahana. I have used VRBO many times in the past and have never necessarily been "disappointed", but always seemed to find some flaws in the description of the venue. This was my first experience where everything was perfectly described and from my view, the pictures in the description may not have done it justice! The views were impeccable and there were two private lanai's to share those views; this made the experience that much more special when you could still have a sense of privacy in sharing the condo with another couple. The unit was well stocked from kitchen utensils, beach equipment and even some books and games if you have kids. Wifi was great (but honestly, as close to the beach as we were and the beautiful views (again) we weren't much for plugging in our laptops or watching tv). We've stayed on these grounds before, so we were familiar with the property at large. It has two wonderful pools and hot tubs as well as an onsite restaurant that isn't 5-star, but was great for an afternoon snack or drink.
From a communication standpoint, the owner of this condo was pleasant to work with and we stayed in touch from the time I booked to the time we stayed (6 month span). This detail was extremely important to me, since plans during the pandemic seemingly always need to be adjusted.
It was an absolute pleasure to stay at such a wonderfully updated condo. It served the purpose of connecting with my wife, the island and decompressing from everyday life. I will be looking forward to staying at one of the owner's properties in the near future. 5-STARS.

You couldn't ask for a better location. The beach is steps awY from the unit, and the Tradewinds blow right through to cool you. We saw turtles and spinner dolphins off the lanai. Every amenity you could want is on location or nearby and the unit is well stocked. Thanks for such a wonderful time!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! The attention to details and views from the fourth floor were immeasurable. Plenty to do on site and also a great location to accomplish tours and visits to Farmers Market, Luaus, shopping and snorkeling. Don't pass this jewel up when looking for a vacation spot. It's the best!

With a stunning view from every angle it was hard to leave the porch! We marveled at the numerous rainbows, spectacular sunsets, sea turtles swimming with the snorkelers, as well as the beautiful islands of Lanai and Molokai. Our Condo could not have been better stocked, very well organized and also CLEAN! The beds were extremely comfortable and the sound of the ocean helped make for a great nights sleep. We loved having beach supplies- chairs, boogie boards, cooler at our disposal. Having these were an added perk. Speaking of the beach, laying around outside under the gorgeous Palm trees truly made it feel like paradise! We admired the grounds being kept so beautifully and how the crew cleaned the grills each morning. We LOVED our time at Sands of Kahana and hope one day we will be able to return. Without a doubt, a 5 star stay!

The views are even more amazing when you get there. We loved to be able to sit out and relax on the lanais. It’s a home away from home. There is everything you need that was super helpful for adventurers like us. Ice chest for road trip, snorkel gear, beach towels, chairs, boogie boards. The washer and dryer was super nice then you don’t have to pack as many clothes! That was so nice to be able to use! The property owner is amazing, so nice, and checked in on us when we arrived which was awesome! The beds are super comfy, everything is super clean! You can snorkel right off the beach which was great! My husband saw an octopus, and we all saw fish and turtles! The beach was great right there. There is a place to eat on property. The decor in the condo is beautiful and beachy, loved this condo! Had an awesome time! You won’t forget the views! They are Wow right as you walk in! Thank you for sharing your beautiful condo! We will definitely be back!

My family and I enjoyed the condo and property. We had a beautiful view from both lanai’s and went to sleep to the waves crashing ashore. The property has a restaurant / bar, where we spent a lot of time. You could not find a dinner reservation anywhere, but we never had an issue getting into the Beach House and the food was great.
The property owner is extremely helpful and handles any issues immediately. The condo is well maintained and our only real issue was a cracked coffee pot, which was quickly taken care of. Would love to go back!
