This condo is on the top floor and has a view that can’t be beat. Sunsets from the lanai were gorgeous and if you like to fall asleep listening to the sounds of waves crashing on the shore below, this is your place. Betsy was a great host and very prompt with communication. The condo was very well-equipped and had everything we needed and then some. I would highly recommend!

This condo was a gem on the ocean. It was clean, comfortable and the ocean view/sunsets could not have been better. It is well stocked with dishes, cooking equipment, beach toys, snorkeling equipment etc. it lacked nothing.
Its location was ideal for us-close to everything. It was really nice to have dedicated parking.
Our party of 4 fit comfortably, we never felt crowded. The lani was a great place for early mornings, sunset dinners and anytime in between.
It was extremely easy to get in touch with the owner, she went the extra mile for us when we left some clothing items behind.
We will be booking this charming condo again for our next stay in Kona. Aloja, until we meet again.

Thank you for sharing your home in such a fabulous location. The listing is spot on with amenities, view and location. Most shops and restaurants are within a 20 minute walk. Sunset viewing from the lanai was spectacular every night. Great place to stay!

This property is on the third floor, and the views of the ocean are phenomenal. Everything was clean and tidy, and having snorkel and beach gear was certainly a plus. Only 1.5 miles to downtown, or heading south gets you to the nighttime manta ray excursion (highly recommended). Community gas grills are nice — just up the hill and complete with picnic tables to hang out. Every neighbor we met was helpful, kind, and friendly — highly recommend.

We had a wonderful time at this property. The host was absolutely amazing with great communication throughout. The balcony was stunning and the location was great. As stated, do not worry about no air conditioning, as the cross breezes were wonderful. We had an amazing time and definitely look forward to returning! We highly recommend this place to stay.

This condo is amazing. The views are the best and you can easily walk to downtown Kona for breakfast or dinner. There are some great beaches close by. Betsy is a fantastic host and quick to respond to questions or concerns. I was worried about having no AC, but it was perfectly comfortable. I would definitely book again!

The place was great and the view was amazing. We were very comfortable and the location was great as a base for our daily excursions. Everything was clean when we arrived. The kitchen was great with plenty of room for two people to cook. Communication with the owner was excellent. I would definitely check to see if this place is available and stay here again when visiting the island.

This condo delivered on the VRBO description and the photos. Absolutely everything, including the best furnishings we've ever had for hanging out (comfy couches, heavenly recliners, relaxing lanai furniture). We spent a good deal of time at the condo because its experience and location were transporting!
The kitchen, bathrooms, laundry, and beach gear all had plenty of amenities -- soaps, cleaning supplies, seasonings, etc. -- everything we needed upon arrival so we didn't even have to do a supplies run the first night; we could just relax!
And Betty is every bit the attentive and thoughtful host that previous reviews said she was. She's created a perfect getaway for us to do what we really needed -- rest and rejuvenate!
Oh, and it was mid-80s for both temperatures and humidity, which concerned us about AC, but the sea air and crossbreezes just from opening the windows (screened! Yay!) and doors and using the fans made quite the fabulous wind tunnel!

What a spectacular place to stay! The view is like no other place we have ever stayed. The sunsets were phenomenal 🌅. The condo had everything we needed and more. It was clean and had all of our basic needs. It was centrally located to downtown and to shops, which was great. We highly recommend this place to stay in Kona.

The best part of this is the lanai. We made great use of it for meals, sunsets, cards, reading, relaxing, viewing nature, relaxing, relaxing and relaxing. The grounds were very neat and the pool was great. It was just far enough out of town.
The steps were a little tough for "experienced" (older) people but I would come back.

As other reviewers have said, this condo is all about the view. It is marvelous. We enjoyed every sunset on the lanai. It is an older complex close to Kona, we walked into Kona on two occasions (be careful, lots of traffic on the road). The owner was very easy to contact and work with, and clearly is there for you if you need her (though we did not). Again, what a view!

I am so happy to have found this place for a 4 day stay.
Location was great, everything you need in the flat.
Betsy was great at proactively sharing information in the lead up to the stay.
Price was also reasonable compared to everything else that was on offer.
Hawaii is far for us in Europe but would happily stay again should we head back to Kona. The view alone is worth it.

We liked the condo very much. It was well appointed and had pretty much everything we needed.
The smaller bedroom needs some additional lighting to more comfortable in the evenings.
I had diffficulty with the stove, mostly my fault as I don’t cook on an electric stove, but the heat indicators on the stove knobs were non existent, so that increased the challenge.
Overall, I would not hesitate to rent this condo again.

We absolutely loved our time at this sweet condo!! Talk about a room with a view, WOW!!
Reserved parking for the condo unit is right in front of the building makes it easy since you don’t have to look for a vacant spot.
Loved the main bath as it has a countertop perfect for quick access of sunscreens, makeup etc.
The pull out privacy screen worked nicely if someone slept later than the other as it easy & quietly closes.
As someone else wrote in a review it felt like we were staying at an Aunt’s house.
Betsy is easily accessible and communicate with.
We had a great week exploring Kona which is walking distance from the condo.
We miss the amazing view, the INCREDIBLE sunsets & the sound of the surf!
*Wish list~ a Safe to store passports etc.

We had an amazing time at Betsy's place! She thought of every little thing that you could possibly need for your visit: beach gear (toys & hats/water shoes), cooler & ice packs, beach towels, a very well-appointed kitchen, enough fans to keep you cool on the warmest of days, a listing of local attractions, and a very charming home with a million-dollar view that is very close to Kona town attractions. On top of all of that, Betsy was super easy to communicate with and went above & beyond to make sure we had a great time.
We definitely look forward to vacationing here again and watching the dolphins cruise past the condo each day. Wow!

Wonderful view from the Lanai. Well appointed kitchen with which we cooked several wonderful fresh seafood meals. Very clean. This is a 3rd floor unit, so there are some stairs, but the reward of the view is worth the climb.

This place was perfect! Stunning views! Comfortable and had everything we needed. Quiet neighbors. The numbered parking is fantastic! Never needed to hunt for a place to park and parking is right outside the condo. Betsy did a great job communicating and check in and out was super easy. My friend and I loved this property. We loved hanging out on the lanai. The condo was well-stocked with pantry items and toiletries, so it's best to check into the property before heading out to the grocery store. The owner was very responsive, and I would most definitely stay here again.

We found this rental to be wonderful! The views from the windows and lanai were breathtaking. We watched whales, dolphins, and sailboats cruise by. The sound of the waves could be loud- so bring ear plugs for sleeping! This was a great base for west Hawaii adventures. Big plus- beach chairs and umbrellas were provided! Thank you Betsy for providing a perfect Hawaii home away from home!

Betsy is also very responsive to any questions. The ocean surf can be quite loud at night for sleeping, but closing the windows reduced the noise significantly. We’d love to return again one day.

The view is ridiculously amazing. Unreal. Best sunset views of all. I do want to be clear though: if you visit in winter the noise of the crashing of the surf is loud. I don't know if its always like this in winter, but it was really loud. If you need quiet to sleep, bring ear plugs. We closed the windows and doors, but without AC that gets pretty warm. There are ceiling fans. Still amazing view though. We saw whales one day. And the other big bonus at this condo is all that is provided. Its like staying at a friend's house: beach chairs, beach mats, beach umbrellas, boogie boards, noodles, cooler and even snorkle gear and water shoes! Plus sunscreen, lotions, etc as well as most everything you could need in the kitchen too. Beds are just ok (pretty hard). If you want to walk to the beach, Honi's beach is about a 13 minute walk. Its small but wasn't over crowded on a Sunday afternoon. There is a HIbike kiosk just outside the villas, so you could rent a bike and bike to town. This is a 3rd floor unit, so be sure you can climb stairs. Enjoy your stay and good luck pulling yourself away from the view when its time to leave!

This place is amazing. Very quiet and peaceful. Access to snorkeling right outside the condo. Great supply of beach gear. Wonderful breeze flowing through unit. We made a point of being on the lanai to watch the sunset. We saw dozens of dolphin swim by one morning as well as a humpback whale a couple of mornings. Since we were here for a week, we balanced going out and about on excursions with staying put and enjoying the ocean sounds and chilling in the lanai for the day.

This is the cleanest property we have ever stayed in. The location is just great - overlooking the water and the property itself was very appointed and well stocked (all the extras you'll need). We would have preferred A/C, but during our stay we did just fine with the ceiling fan and the flow-through breezes. We would also have preferred a king sized bed which we think could be accommodated. However, the combination of the positives far outweighed either of these issues and we highly recommend this place. Also, the property owner/manager was excellent.

We had an excellent stay at this condo. The ocean view from every room can’t be beat. Everything you need is provided. Convenient location. Clean. Quiet (except for the loud crashing waves, which we LOVE hearing). If you’re going to Kona, this is an excellent and fairly priced option.

I don't even know where to begin....
It took a lot of time and research for me to finally pick this vacation rental and I was not disappointed. You look at pictures and hope (as you're opening the door) that the place is half as nice as it looks online. This was that and more. Not to mention that we arrived after dark and didn't really get to appreciate the awesomeness until the next morning. Our "home" for the next week was absolutely beautiful. And the view? Gorgeous ocean views from BOTH bedrooms. If I try really hard I can still hear the waves crashing against the rocks.
The condo is stocked with everything you could possibly need. Cooler for drinks to take to the beach? Yep! Dang it, wish I would have had room for my water bottle...oh look, there's one here! Admiring someone else's beach chairs and wishing you had a couple? Yes again.
The grounds are gorgeous and well maintained. One morning I walked around and just took pictures of all the different flowers and trees. Location is perfect. Just outside of town and walkable if you choose. The pool was clean, water temperature perfect. We met so many nice people. Some were visitors, but the majority actually lived at the complex. Everyone was so friendly and informative. And another neat thing? People gather together each night to watch the sunset. I get goosebumps just thinking about it :)
Needless to say, we didn't want to leave but on the way out we were lucky enough to see a couple of our new friends, exchange numbers and say goodbye. We even had the pleasure of meeting our host Betsy in person!! Such an amazing end to a wonderful vacation.
If you're on the fence, choose this unit. If you're booking a week, book two. You won't regret it.

Betsy was an amazing host! The condo was so welcoming and had everything you needed for cooking as well as beach gear galore. The view was absolutely amazing. We loved sitting on the lanai in the morning, sipping coffee and watching all the boats and parasailers go by. This was our first time taking our boys to Hawaii and there was plenty of room for all four of us. Would definitely consider renting again for future visits! Thank you for being so accommodating and sharing your other home with us!

The condo meet our expectations & we arrived with a variety of COLD drinks & SNACKS provided by Betsy. During the day the breeze was delightful. Ceiling fans in each room didn’t provide enough air circulation as well as the mini portable fan. This may just be an individual preference.

The view from the lanai and bedrooms are more than you can hope for. The waves crash all night and are so loud...awesome. Everything you need is in the condo. Snorkel gear, coolers, beach chairs and towels, spices and condiments, etc were all there and made life easy. Washer and dryer helped, as we were staying an extended time. Only drawback was the heat/humidity and sleeping. All rooms had ceiling fans and that did help, but be prepared for no ac and summer weather.

Such a lovely place to land between adventures on the big island. Third floor unit literally hanging over the beautiful Pacific Ocean; the views and the sunsets were phenomenal! And so well equipped. We had to postpone our trip a year because of Covid and Betsy, the owner, was so kind and easy to work with. We hope to go back there again soon.

A perfect location to relax and enjoy the ocean waves! This property had everything you need to enjoy a day at the beach - so many amenities! There was no A/C but the cross breeze kept us perfectly cool. The sunsets off the lanai each night were amazing and we appreciated how close we were to downtown Kona. We would definitely return!!
