This unit has one of the best views in the whole condo complex. We liked the layout of the unit. The owner was very responsive and nice. I let her know that there was a little ant problem and that the teflon frying pans were trashed and she responded quickly and said she would take care of both issues right away. There were a couple of items that could probably use updating due to the normal ocean air deterioration. I.e. the patio chairs were pretty rusty as well as a few of the metal kitchen utensils. The entrainment equipment was really nice and the TV service was great. The bed was comfortable. Overall though, a real nice place!

Condo location/view were amazing. Communication with Susan was great, and she responded quickly to any questions. Things like towels, mattress, and some kitchen amenities could use some sprucing up, but otherwise, I would rent it again based on our stay. Mahalo!

My husband and I have stayed in this complex before and find it is perfect for our needs. It is close enough to downtown Kona to walk in and convenient to beaches to the south and quiet. The pool and outdoor grills are great. This condo had a perfect unobstructed view of the ocean and we could sit at the table on the porch for breakfast or the couch for cocktails at sunset. The kitchen has 3 coffee makers (drip, kurig and French press) and adequate dishes and cooking equipment. There were also beach supplies including chairs, coolers and snorkeling equipment (we had our own so did not explore). There were multiple ceiling fans so we did not miss air conditioning and it has a washer and drier. The only issues we had were there were some small mites in both the kitchen and bathroom sinks, but they disappeared toward the end of our stay. Most importantly we chose the refundable damage deposit rather than pay for insurance since two people in their 60s and 70s don’t typically incur a lot of damage. I sent a message as we were leaving about the timeline and process for refunding this deposit but have not received a reply and it has been 2.5 weeks. If this is resolved, we would absolutely ok again

Great spot that was close enough to walk to town from. Was a little stuffy with no AC, but there were plenty of fans to remedy that. Key no longer gets you in the pool- you now need a code.

We enjoyed our 4 day stay at the property for the most part. The unit is well equipped for eating in, laundry and having things to use at the beach was awesome.
The only negative was the fact that the property has no AC. Yes there are lots of ceiling and portable fans but honestly, they do little to cool the place down. We had every fan going but it was still rather warm for sleeping and even with windows open it was still hot.
I did not do my proper research before booking as i normally do as I would not have booked this property just because of the AC.
If AC is not an issue for you, then this place is almost perfect

Lovely property with amazing views of the crashing waves, beautiful sunsets, even the cruise ships looks lovely lit up at night. Property was clean and comfortable and had everything we needed for our stay. Very close to restaurants and downtown Kailua/Kona, yet tucked away from busyness.
We had no real need to communicate with management. The only concern is that we did not observe smoke detectors or a deadbolt lock as described.

I can’t rave enough about how much we loved staying here. It was super accommodating and the views were spectacular! The hosts were easy to communicate with and made staying here a seamless process. It’s close to downtown and beaches. We had a blast and can’t wait to come back.

Apparently owners were notified that this would be happening. They were asked to reach out to property managers and those who had reserved time, and let them know that this drilling would be a constant issue. I actually read something about this and asked the property manager repeatedly by email if this was in fact true- that my condo would be the center of drilling. The manager did not respond to any of my inquiries. He just told me about the situation after I arrived.
It was horrible. But, there was no where else to rent, as you might know. He supposedly has refunded me half my rent. I have to check that this has happened.
The drilling still continues- less but present and some poor sucker is arriving tomorrow.

Very clean place and quiet neighborhood. Lanai was perfect for eating breakfast while looking at the ocean. No immediate access to beach but we were out everyday to explore the island so that wasn't an issue for us. Peter was very prompt in answering questions and extremely helpful. We would love to return to the Big Island someday and if we do, we would definitely like to stay here again. Aloha!

We were looking for a comfortable, private and relaxing spot and this was perfect! The condo is close enough to town that you can be "touristy" if you want and far enough away that you can feel like a "local" . The "tips and inside scoop" provided by Darla and Peter were so valuable; the farmer's market was a great find! As for the condo itself-it felt like home, it had everything we could have needed! The description provided here is exactly what we found thank you so much! When back in Kona we will look yon up again!

This wonderful townhome/condo is just a short distance away from Kona downtown. We really enjoyed our time at Susan's condo and wish to come back soon. Susan was very accommodating to our needs and the condo is well appointed. The complex itself is very quiet and all you can hear at night is the waves crashing against the rocks. My wife and I had a wonderful honeymoon here and really liked it. I highly recommend this condo to everyone!

This condo has the best views of the ocean and sunsets we have ever seen. We watched dolphins jumping from the lani while we had coffee in the morning. It is so close to the water all you can hear at night are the sounds of the surf. This nice, quiet complex has a great pool and the most beautiful gardens in Kona.

We had wonderful time the place was clean, pleasant and great view. We recommend it to couples for retreat and quite stay. Nice walk to the center of town about a mile and half we did daily to enjoy the water front walk area. Facility was clean and had multiple grills ready to use. We will miss the area.

This condo is perfect for a couple looking to get away. The view from the Lani is breath taking as the sunsets. It also a great place to wake up with a cup of coffee and ponder what to do toaday. I would recommend it to anyone that only needs a single bedroom. Nice proximity to town and all the big stores.

The condo picture is inaccurate, there is a big palm tree on the left side of the lanai which does not give that view at all - it pretty well blocks the whole view. Great location, 3rd floor walkup, easy access to Kailua Village walking about 2 km away. Carpet could do with a clean, kitchen well equipped and with new cupboards and counter-tops. They advertise WiFi, but it is not in the condo, but they pick up an erratic signal from the pool area. Condo complex is clean and very well kept. BBQ area great.

My daughter and I spent a month in this fantastic condo. So comfortable, it was like being at home.
The condo - clean, tidy, cute! The grounds were amazinly beautiful and clean.
The view - beyond words!
The decor/furnishings - CD player, Ipod dock, WiFi, Hawaiian CD's, very cute decor. LOVE the Hawaiian photographs!
The pool - inviting with a bookcase full of reading material you can borrow.
The BBQ area - Although we didn't use it, it was very popular with many of the residents.
The Location - close to town, yet far enough away to enjoy the peaceful evenings.
The shopping - Wow! Downtown Kona is fantastic to spend a cool morning of shopping. Farmer's Markets galore. We most often visited the one downtown near the Kona Inn, and loved the weekly market at a resort a bit south of the condos.
Would we go again? Oh yeah! Can't wait!

What a charming condo! My wife and daughter and I were in Kona for the Ironman and what a marvelous time it was. There's much to see and do, so we were frequently out, but the time spent in the condo was always comfortable and pleasant. Breakfast and coffee on the lanai. Evening mai-tais watching the sunset on the lanai.
Little things added up. Coolers and folding chairs and beach gear. Fully equipped kitchen. Binoculars (from the balcony, we saw spinner dolphins jumping and spinning!) So nice to have the laundry and wireless internet. Snorkeling from the shore right off the condo. A lovely little bbq area. Quiet neighbors too. The condo is neat and clean and well decorated and furnished. The descriptions and pictures in the listing are accurate.
And it was always easy to deal with owner/managers. Susan and Peter were communicative and helpful. We always felt assured dealing with such nice and stand-up people.
Not sure when we'll be back, but we'll certainly aim to stay here again.
