We very much enjoyed our stay. There was plenty of room for all, and we loved hearing (and seeing) the ocean waves. And the "little touches" (e.g., bathroom and kitchen amenities) saved us from making multiple runs to Walmart and/or Safeway.
Easily accommodated our extended family. Having AC in all the bedrooms was great, but the main room could sometimes get a bit warm. Loved the kitchen, grille, and table area, we could all eat together easily! Also, more than enough towels, and beach gear to make visiting any of the beaches a breeze. Hanalei bay was great for the kids, but we also enjoyed some of the bigger waves at Kealia. Wailua was also only 15 minutes away if you wanted to go out to eat or get supplies. Overall a wonderful house in an amazing location that created some lifelong memories.
The stay was terrific - loved every bit of it. Beautiful house and great communication. The house was more than accommodating for everyone!
This was the perfect property for our family of 11. Secluded with beautiful snorkeling, plenty of water toys, great kitchen, living area and grounds.
We had a wonderful family vacation. Everything was as stated in the description. Our week in Paradise was amazing!
Beautiful location -- basically a private beach with good snorkeling -- beach is perfect for young kids and even infants -- sunrise is straight out the master bedroom lanai. When we return to Kauai with our entire family (11 of us) this will be the place we will seek out.
This home was the perfect location for our family vacation. We had 8 adults, one 3-yr old, and 2 infants. Plenty of space for everyone. The home is well amenitized and the property is beautiful. Access to your private beach area right off the home is so incredibly convenient. We took full advantage of the large yard area to play games (bocci ball, croquet, frisbee, etc). We snorkeled right off our beach and saw plenty of fish. Cell phone reception is very spotty, but the home has great WiFi, so no issues there. It's incredibly quiet and private in this property. The views of the sunrise off the balcony in the master bedroom were spectacular EVERY morning! Our host was very prompt to reply when we had one quick question. Otherwise, we just enjoyed our week together. Plenty of spaces to gather and eat together. There is an outdoor shower to wash off the sand after you've spent time on the beach. There is A/C in all the bedrooms, but the main living areas don't have A/C (which is typical in Hawaii). Most days it was fine. We just had the windows open and the breeze would come through. Two of the days we were there were unseasonably warmer and the humidity was a little higher, but it was tolerable.
We needed 5 bedrooms & 5 baths. Worked especially well for us when a 6th couple asked to stay -- the den pull-out gave us a sudden guest accommodation.
This house accommodated our group of 9 perfectly. Beautiful beach to enjoy snorkeling, paddle boarding and sunbathing. I highly recommend this property!
the house was amazing and perfect for our needs. We had 12 adults and it did not feel crowded at all. The location with the secluded beach out the back door was amazing. Lots of great memories. We hired a private chef to cook dinner and the kitchen and dining room table worked perfectly. We were about midway to both Princeville and Poipu but there were other restaurants about 10-15 mins away. Would highly recommend the house.
Great place for a small family reunion . Ocean front excellent.
The property was beautiful and stocked perfectly. The property manager was responsive and made herself available at every turn. So thankful to have been able to share this property with friends and family.
We spent four days in this home and a similar property two doors down. It was wonderful! The property manager was nice to work with. It is located on the beach, and the bay had the best snorkeling we found on the island with turtles, eels, etc.
Highly recommend!! Thank you for a wonderful trip
Wonderful location, nice amenities and first class beach access!
This is an incredibly beautiful home with every amenity. Located on the east coast so it was convenient to both the north shore and south shore activities. There were 12 adults in our party and we found everything we needed to enjoy the beach there at the house...kayaks, body boards, snorkel equipment etc. It was very warm and humid while we were there (Sept. 23-30) so we found that the "5th bedroom"
in the house...the study was not equipped for someone to sleep in since it didn't have a/c. Otherwise it was a perfect!
Our stay was stellar. Anaik was very responsive to our questions and needs. Our group included 10 adults age 30-85, a toddler and an infant. The kitchen was well equipped without being overwhelmed with too many gadgets. The dining room table comfortably fit us all for dinner. The AC in all the bedrooms was pleasant when the mid day weather got a bit to hot and muggy.
We made good use of the lanai by inviting in a lovely yoga instructor Jhoane, who was recommended by the concierge service. We also had a very fun coconut frond weaving class on the lanai led by Uncle Onio who teaches at the Kauai museum.
The beach provided excellent snorkeling with lots of sea-life to be found by the exposed rocks to the right of the property about 30 feet off shore, the rock shelf just off shore to the left of the property and the rocky area to the left also. If you hike down to the rocky area to the left there is a shallow protected area the is good for the littles to swim because the waves are blocked by the rocks. This area is also excellent for sunrise photos.
There are a few pairs of water shoes at the house to use or bring your own because while there were a few sandy patches but there was definitely a lot of rock to contend with.
The beds were very comfortable with lovely bedding. Even the pull out sofa in the den was comfortable.
The pictures of this property do not do it justice. None of us wanted to leave it was so perfect. Anaik was amazing from start to finish and answered any and all questions we had. My husband and I renewed our vows for our 20 year anniversary on the lawn in front of the beach at sunset…..it was perfect. We WILL be back and when we do we will not hesitate to stay here again.
Hale Aliomanu is even more wonderful and spacious than pictured. We had a lovely time staying there and really enjoyed the quiet privacy of the property. We also used the house as the venue for our wedding and it was perfect. The lawn was ideal for our event and the ocean views were a dream. The only problem was that we couldn't stay forever!
This gorgeous home and setting was perfect for our family of 13 to celebrate our 50th anniversary. We had adults, teens and children. All had comfortable rooms and lots to do. The house is beautifully designed and decorated and furnished with everything we needed and more. It all felt both elegant and comfortable. We had a private chef come cook for us a couple times and we found the kitchen and grill area to be perfectly appointed. The house is located close to several gorgeous beaches, Kapaa and even the airport and Costco. This truly was magical!
This property is everything it’s advertised to be and far more!!
Slight problem at the beginning but everything worked out.
Great property, great location, really good interaction with property manager and their concierge service. Our family had a great time on vacation with this property. Everything as advertised!
My sisters, their husbands and our children (ages 10 and up) gathered here for a once-in-a-blue-moon type of vacation. The house is wonderful in that every couple had a comfortable suite (with private bathroom) to themselves. The finishings were top notch and you could tell there was much care in ensuring everything stayed in working order (the kitchen stove had an issue and they had someone out immediately). The kitchen was wonderfully stocked and very large for many hands to be involved in food prep. We appreciated the extra refrigerator drawers and beverage fridge as we came very loaded with food for the week and had plenty of room for it all. I'd recommend stocking up at Costco and/or Safeway before coming as running out to the store is not a quick endeavor. We mostly enjoyed the island from Wailua to the north with lots of time spent at our very private, calm beach right in front of the house. However, if you want waves, Kealia beach was close by and fun for boogie-boarding. Two very small suggestions would be adding more folding beach chairs...we only had three but six (one per adult) would have been nice. And the beach towels provided were lovely but since they were all the same pattern it was hard to keep track of whose was whose, and we ended up washing them more than necessary, using more water/energy. If I'm making note of small things like this, it is because everything else was so perfect. The house was just right for gathering as a family, spending quality time together in a luxurious and private space to relax and recharge. Thank you to Anaik, the property manager, for the great communication during our stay and helping to troubleshoot the stove issue!
What a magical vacation! To bring together ten people from ages 8 to 80 is no small task, but we did it here. Everyone gave it a 10 experience. We enjoyed the beach a stone's throw from the house and saw sea turtles and wonderful reef fish, and enjoyed watching sunrises over the water. We had other adventures, but none of them too far away. The 20-something young men said the hiking was phenomenal. The little ones couldn't get enough of the beach and water right past our yard. This was a family experience that we will take with us forever.
There could not have been anything better about this home. It was very pleasant just to sit in the house or on the patio, but the location right on the beach meant our family could easily return time and again to the water each day without the necessity of loading up a car or searching for parking. The home was outfitted excellently for our family group of 12. There was even a beverage cooler in the kitchen (a feature we have often wished for when everyone gathered at our own home or at a short term rental)! There were plenty of bath and beach towels and appropriate big serving pieces and small appliances in the kitchen. The beds were comfortable and there was play equipment for everyone. The option of a concierge to help with special requests was also a first for us, and we used her excellent services. The property manager was available and responsive. Everything was wonderful, and we would love to return again.
Beautiful home, beautiful location, and the kitchen was well equipped. I highly recommend this property!
We rented this VRBO for our sons wedding which was held at another VRBO right down the beach. There were 10 of us and there was plenty of room. We've never stayed on the East shore of Kauai and we really enjoyed it. The house itself was super comfortable, clean and attractive. We also rented the apartment above the garage which was also lovely. Behind the house is a large grass area with croquet which my family played a lot...the house also had kayaks for use. The beach itself is right beyond the lawn and felt more private than you might find elsewhere on the island. There are no parking lots around for the general public to come to that beach (that I saw anyway) so the beach seems to be only for residents/renters. The property manager Anaik was very nice, welcoming & helpful. All in all our stay at this home was great! I would highly recommend it!
Hale Aliomanu was the perfect house and location for our family to celebrate a 50th wedding anniversary. Everyone enjoyed the private beach, the reefs, and the large yard. Absolutely wonderful!
Grand house with beautiful grounds and wonderful beach! Great place for our family of 12 to spend a week in paradise!
We had a perfect trip to Kauai and this home was a slice of heaven. In total we had eleven family members stay and everyone was extremely happy with the house and it's space. Large kitchen, private rooms, ample seating areas, large grass for sunbathing, and the beach just out the back. The home had kayaks, surf boards and boogie boards to use and the snorkling provided a variety of fish, turtles and octopus during our trip. All in all we loved the home and all of us had a great experience which is what life is all about. Thank You to Jude and Anaik!
We love this property. It's absolutely stunning and is well-appointed - Perfect for large families or a group of friends. There is plenty of space, giving everyone a place to gather or be alone for some Hawaiian tranquility. It was great to see the kids unplug, as we all played soccer and croquet on the lawn right next to the ocean. Jude takes great care of you - we loved, loved, LOVED the pineapples. Great memories!
Our time in this fantastic house was perfect in every way! Jude has maintained this lovely property impeccably and we thoroughly enjoyed a holiday with extended family. We can hardly wait to come back!
Beautiful property and home. Perfect for our family of 9. The littles loved the grass to play on and steps from the ocean was great!
We spoke with Jude last year about renting this beautiful home. She was so welcoming and accommodating & assured us we booked and Covid still shut down that we could get a full refund up to 24 hours before arrival,
She was timely on all our questions that arose the next several months.
The home was perfection and met our family of twelve needs perfectly!
Five days of relaxing and comfortable beyond our wildest dreams... at a price, but well worth it. We were only 5, but this home could easily fit many more... at least 10-12 if booked with optional 1-bed apt. over garage (which we didn't need). Even without that, our son was thrilled with the privacy of a separate-entranced apt. (rm & bath) included as part of main house. The two other couples in our family had a tough time choosing which bedrooms were the best as most had ocean-front views and night-time lulling wave sounds (...MBR a plus with private Romeo/Juliet ocean-facing terrace-sized balcony). Plenty of 1st floor outdoor expansive lanai lounging chairs and tons of windows & french doors to open providing interior refreshing ocean breezes. (A/C's in each bedroom rarely needed - Sept) Entertained daily by rooster, hens, and chicks periodically crossing the thick grassed yard between us and the beach, also the sea lion (we named Molly) often sunning a bit down the beach to our right.. Several kayaks, life jackets, boogie boards and a very durable croquet set topped off the outdoor options we found, although we never ended up using them. Kitchen was very well equipped covering all basic stables and plenty more. Note: location is 1-1 1/2 hrs to Poipu (SW) or Napali Coast Trail (NW)... but plenty of bike rides and waterfall hikes closer by. Last, but not least... Jude, the property manager who we only met at beginning and end (never needed in between) was the Best!
Property: We take several vacations a year and this is easily the BEST STVR we've stayed at. Updated appliances, beautiful front and beach facing yards. Layout of the home was spacious with great artwork and furniture. Property manager was very friendly and easy to work with (Thank you Jude!)
Neighborhood: Very safe neighborhood to walk around in day/night. Most of the properties here are gated with zero traffic. Bring a flashlight if you head north of the property at night since there are no street lights. Aliomanu Beach is a good secret spot if you're looking for a nice sandy beach area just north of the property.
Community Space: We wanted a location where 10-12 of us could hang out together during that day and for lunch/dinner. This place EASILY accommodated us even when we were together on the patio or same dining/living room area.
WIFI: Excellent - This is a must for us since we have to work while traveling. Secure wifi was fast, easy to set up on our phones and never dropped during our stay.
Cell Service: We're with AT&T and had excellent cell phone coverage here. Sometimes surrounding buildings or homes block coverage even in well populated areas.
We finally got to Kauai after rescheduling 3 times due to Covid restrictions.. it was worth the wait! The house and property were gorgeous! Exactly what we expected! Jude left us some of her white pineapples which were great! There are no negatives with our trip or the house! I highly recommend this property… This was the first place on my travel list and i will be returning!
This beautiful property is tucked away in a quiet neighborhood. The wind, rain or roosters are the only sounds to wake you in the morning. The pictures on the website are accurate and the interior is spotless and very well maintained. Nice linens and bath products. And of course there is Jude, who will take care of any and everything she possibly can. A more sincere and generous person would be hard to find!
We loved Hale Aliomanu. However the den (which we used as a bedroom) has no dresser or closet. The downstairs bedroom (the one with an outside entrance) has a dresser but no closet.
All the upstairs bedrooms had dressers AND closets. Beautiful property with wonderful views. Wonderful beach. Perfect for all ages. Property manager was terrific!

Everyone in our group of 4 adults and 2 boys ( 6 and 4),loved our 11 days at Hale Aliomanu. The house is comfortably huge, with areas for large gatherings, and also a TV room, and comfy air conditioned bedrooms for some quiet privacy, each with it’s own bathroom. The kitchen was well stocked for our many homemade gourmet meals as well as special beverage refrigerators and a wine cabinet. The back lawn area was well used for our games of “ get the kids tired out” and the beach just beyond that for easy access to swimming and snorkeling. Jude herself was a part of the visit’s charm. From the day we made our reservation she was responsive to any questions, arranged the helpful assistance of concierge Sonja, and kept us informed of the continuous changes due to Covid, which thankfully resolved in time for our visit. During our time there Jude was quickly responsive to any questions we asked of her, brought us some of the most delicious pineapples any of us had ever eaten ( Sugarloaf white pineapples from her own plantation) and without being intrusive made sure we were comfortable and had all we needed to enjoy our stay. Every one of the adults said it was a wonderful vacation, and as we were leaving my 6 year old grandson tearfully asked if we are going back next year. Thank you, Jude, for the pineapples, roomy spaces for our gatherings, the sunrises, outdoor soccer and chase games, the ocean right there, chickens and toads, the smell of sweet blossoms in the front yard, and did I mention those pineapples? Wish I could give more than 5 stars as our time there certainly was above and beyond. Aloha
Can’t say enough about the house! It was beautiful, large enough to accommodate 12 of us, had plenty of toys for the kids to play with. Jude was an exceptional hostess. Can’t wait to return.
Terrific house in a amazing setting and location. Everything was as promised and we could not have had a better experience!
The house and location on the water was well worth it. It held 11 of us comfortably and gave the flexibility to swim, snorkel, kayak, or just hang out on the beach without having to drive anywhere and it’s very secluded. It’s location gives you access to beaches on the north, east and south shores. The kitchen is well stocked and allows for cooking at home. Jude is wonderful, accommodating and easy to work with. Highly recommend this property.
Location is halfway in between airport and Hanalei. Because of. traffic, make sure you do not want to spend much time in Poipu or Waimea. Enjoy the beautiful home and nice beach with calm water.
I cannot possibly rate this property as high as it deserves. This home and property are stunning, secluded, clean , and just steps away from a beach that even my 80 year old parents could swim in.
We played croquet on the lawn, swam, cooked amazing food, took many walks, played cards, and had an incredible time. The home is spacious with beautiful furnishings and a fully stocked chef's kitchen.
Thank you Jude for your wonderful hospitality and beautiful accommodations.
We hope to return again!

Our group of six stayed here and had a fantastic time. Even in October the water just out the front door was calm enough for snorkeling and there were all kinds of fish. We saw some turtles in the mornings. The beach faces east for wonderful sunrises and moonrises over the Pacific. Jude was very responsive throughout the process, and though we didn't need anything fixed or handled during our stay, she came by to check on us and left a couple of pineapples. I would definitely stay here again.
the overall experience was wonderful. The house was clean neat and organized when we got there. Working with the whole management was a wonderful experience. The only suggestions that I would make is better seating in the back porch for a family gathering. And also knowing the concier has a service charge ahead of time. Outside of that it was the best family vacation ever.
Beautiful property with all of the ammenities and incredibly friendly and attentive property manager Jude. We have a big family and this was an ideal layout for us. Exquisite property. Thank you Jude for helping us have an amazing holiday experience.
We loved this house and especially the manager, Jude. I can't think of one negative thing to say. I would rent this house again!
My family had an awesome time staying at Hale Aliomanu. Everything was as advertised. It is a truly beautiful home that provided the perfect venue for our family. Jude was a pleasure to deal with and went above and beyond: before, during and after our stay. Mahalo Jude! My boys, ages 9 & 5, had a great time: snorkeling, kayaking and just playing in the yard. When we wanted to surf or boogie board there are nearby beaches that are a short drive away. My wife and mother in law could not have been happier with the location. The home itself had everything you could ask for on vacation and I highly recommend staying there.
Owner was very accessible and courteous.
Large, modern, well equipped home with beautiful landscaping and only steps from the beach. Easy access to all the things to do on Kauai. Or just enjoy the sun on the front lawn or on the beach. Property manager Jude is very helpful and responsive to any needs. Activities concierge Sonja is available to provide activity recommendations and make the arrangements. Our family of ten spanning three generations had a wonderful time here!
The Halle Aliomanu was perfect for our three generation family spring break vacation! The accommodations were excellent, the yards are extraordinary and perfect for outdoor fun, the setting and access to a very quiet sand beach perfect, and their was plenty of attention to all the details associated with our stay. Access to plenty of ocean options is easy as are nearby attractions and stores. Halle Aliomanu helped make our extraordinary family time together that much better. Aloha!
The photos don't do this place justice. Gorgeous views and open floor plan! My sister kept saying that this place looks much bigger in person than on the photos. Sunrise is not to be missed! Conveniently located just a short distance to all the fun sights on the island. No need to drag all the gear to any other beach. This place is like having your private beach just stepping off from the lawn. Great snorkeling and kayak just off from the lawn. We stayed with family ranging from ages 60+ down to 2-year old and we had a blast! Highly recommend!! A++++++
Look no further...you have found the perfect home for a vacation in beautiful Kauai. Our family consists of two married daughters and sons in law, one son and girl-friend, two young grand-daughters and a 90 year old Mother. Everyone needed their own space plus bathrooms and this house delivers. There are three upstairs bedrooms all with private baths, a private bedroom with bath downstairs and a small apt. over the garage, plus a den that makes into a full bed. Everyone was happy. Great front and back lawns that walk out to the beach. The home is well appointed with a gourmet kitchen, all necessary utensils and a plethora of beach chairs, umbrellas, boogie boards galore. Quiet and secluded this was the ideal place for our family to commune with the wonders of Hawaii and with each other. The property manager, Jude, was without a doubt the nicest agent we have every dealt with. Accommodating, attentive and friendly, Jude was a joy to work with and made sure all of our needs were immediately addressed.
We had 2 families stay at Hale Aliomonu with 6 kids under the age of 8 for 10 nights. There was plenty of room for everyone and nobody was cramped. The bay is ideal for kids as it is protected by a reef. The pictures don't do it justice and is one of the few places I've stayed where the actual is better than the advertisement. The house is very well kept, properly equipped and the setting is nothing short of stunning. Jude is by far the most detailed/attentive/responsive property manager you will find.
The location is a great spot to explore the entire island. We were able to spend a couple days at beaches in Poipu as well as a few days on the north side (Princeville). Never felt like the drives were long at all. Would recommend this to anyone looking at houses on the island.
It was sooooo hard to leave this place....the night before our departure the moon was radiant, casting it's glow onto the gently swaying palms, beautiful gardens, and the huge verdant lawn with the silvery, rippling vast ocean just beyond viewed in all its expanse while the scent of tahitian gardenias wafted through the plentiful windows and huge sliders. Too heavenly to sleep, I chose to bathe in the huge, elegant master tub surrounded by windows letting in the fragrant breeze and moonlight...oh, if only it was possible to suspend time!
We all (8, ranging from 83-9) thoroughly enjoyed our stay, from the first minute through the electronic gated entry to discover a meticulously landscaped, very impressive tropical haven with a ground floor private guest suite for our elderly mother, then opening the main house doors with jaws dropped upon seeing the gorgeous ocean views through humongous sliders (immediately opened) onto a thick, green lawn leading to a semi-private sandy beach, to the last morning spent snorkeling just out front and delighting in the variety of beautiful, brightly colored fish. What a wondrous, bittersweet way to end our stay.
The home is conveniently located between Kapaa and Hanalei, reducing hours in the car. The kitchen is a delight to cook in - surrounded with windows, multitude of dim-able lights (throughout the house as well - bedrooms, bathrooms, living room, hallways - fun to create numerous effects!) w/sliders to 3 beautiful dining areas, letting in the tradewinds while cooking - heavenly. Top notch linens/pillows. Filtered water. Pics don't do the house justice. It's very polished - prettier on the exterior w/very expansive rooms, deeply rich teak wood floors throughout - loved walking barefoot on.
But personally, my favorite aspect of this home (if I had to pick only one) was sitting up in bed each morning to the expansive view of a glorious, shimmering, golden sunrise over a vast blue ocean & meditating while the gentle breezes blew in from the over-sized master slider & all the various windows in that expansive master suite; then each night after showering in the 3-headed over-sized shower, sitting up to meditate once again and viewing the moonlight on that same heavenly ocean.
Jude, the manager was a conscientious delight! Her delicious white pineapples are incomparable and she can share with you the most delicious (fibrous-free) variety of mangoes in the world - Rapoza!
Yummies - Hemingway's in Kapaa & Kalaheo Cafe
Kaua'i is a small island and parts of it are inaccessible so it is possible to see it all with a minimum of driving no matter where you stay but this part of the island is particularly pleasant. And Hale Aliomanu is a splendid choice. The house is wonderfully laid out on the property. You can make fine use of the back yard, and the front yard slopes right down to the water (it's about 20 yards of grass). The landscaping is ideal. Your privacy is assured.
The house is beautifully designed. The traffic flow from the back covered patio through the kitchen to the dining area and out to the front lanai is perfect. Kudos to the architect. The kitchen has excellent accessories, all top notch. Even the knives were sharp, a boon to our excellent cooks. We fed 10 people comfortably. The bedrooms and baths are all excellently designed, too. The house has neither air conditioning nor heating -- and it does not need either one; the breezes suffice.
We were never crowded.
The managers, the Hubers, know how to take care of their guests. They properly balance leaving you alone with making sure your needs are met. If you should call them they answer immediately; they can also recommend things to do and who to do them with.
As we were reluctantly leaving on the last day one of our rent cars would not start. We called the company and they said they would be there in about 1-1/2 hours. Not good enough. We had the good sense to call the Hubers and Paul was there in five minutes with his jumper cables. We made or flight.
All 10 of us (covering 3 generations) highly recommend Hale Aliomanu.
Hale Aliomanu is an exquisitely beautiful home right on the beach. The views all around the home are stunning: the ocean with the palm trees swaying in the breeze - the majestic mountains and views in the back of the property. We were in awe that, as we walked up to the back of the home, we could see the ocean's waves -- through the front door, through the living room and beyond the patio to the backyard and ocean view. Wow!! We celebrated our 50th anniversary with our two children, their spouses and five grandchildren. We held an unforgettable ceremony in the yard facing the ocean. Each of us have memories that will last a lifetime. Finally, Jude was the perfect hostess. She was accessible and friendly. She even helped us with local sights and restaurants. Thanks Jude!!
We rented this oasis of a house with another family and had an incredible much needed vacation. Both couples have 2 young kids so we had 8 people total in the house. The house can clearly accomodate many more people comfortably so the 2 families had plenty of space to spread out and get comfortable. The house is immaculate, the location is private and the protected beach was amazing for the kids and adults. We actually had sea turtles on the beach the first day and our kids eyes popped out of their heads. The kitchen is very condusive to cooking some great meals and is extremely well appointed. The house manager was responsive, attentive and pleasant to deal with. When we first arrived there were fresh cut flowers throughout the house and fresh local fruit that she had picked and put out for us. Very nice suprise. From the house it was easy to get any place on the island and the house manager was extremely knowledgeable about the island and made some great suggestions. The cost of the house seemed extremely reasonable given the quality of the experience and compared favorable to staying at a star resort. I would highly highly recommend and look forward to taking my family back.
I have rented many homes for vacations, but this one tops them all! This house is amazing and in a great location. 25 Minutes to the north shore and 30 to Poipu. Jude the manager is the best manager I have ever dealt with. Not only did she give us a good last minuet deal (like the day before) she was always avlb by text or phone for anything, restaurants, weather, and places to go its like having your own concierge. She also grows the best white pineapple on the island, try it you will never eat golden again it was so good. Now for the house, open floor plan right on the beach and it has a guest house with a kitchen. Huge master bedroom with balcony. There are 2 kayaks and chairs to take to the beach. The snorkeling was great right in the back of the house and because of the reef it was calm all the time with no currents, good for all swimmers. You will hardly see anyone on the beach it was so nice. As I am writing this I am totally missing being there and were already trying to decide when to go back and were telling all our friends and family about this place. You will love this place and its location.
If you think the pictures are great you should really see this place live, it was truly amazing. Nothing better then getting up in the morning taking a 5 second walk to the beach and seeing the sun rise or just staying in bed in the master suite and watching the sun rise from there. Although all beaches are public this one seemed like a private beach, nobody on it most of the time. There were many favourite parts to this house, one being the outside shower and of course the master bedroom. My wife had a milestone birthday and had family and friends come over so there was 9 of us in the house, plenty of room, could have easily had a couple more people. House is very private, quiet and very clean, if you are not relaxed after staying here then you have done something wrong. The best part about the nights, listening to the waves crash as you fall alseep, I have never slept so good in my life.
Then there is Jude, the house manager. Awesome lady, easy to get a hold of, great to have a chat with, just a super person. Best white pineapple on the island, try it you will never eat golden again.
I would recommend this property to friends and family, if fact I already have. I have talked to some friends about planning a trip with our 3 families and staying here again
I have been to Maui a number of times and do not think i will go back, love Kauai, very relaxed and easy going
Can't wait to come back, amazing vacation, house and island, plus i have not played all the golf courses yet
Only complaint - having to leave, did not want to
Spent first week of Jan 2013 here. Place is absolutely amazing and manager is fantastic. Everything you need is at your fingertips, and if not the manager will provide. Could not find a better vacation spot than this. First class all the way!
