The property offered everything that we needed for our stay. Lots of amenities offered. Comfortable beds, plenty of kitchen ware. Property could use some work...dishwasher soap tray doesn't latch, pillows are flat, supplies offered aren't as described so extra things were bought that weren't necessarily needed. Main grocery is in Lihue, so plan to purchase ahead of arrival at property could result in unnecessary supplies.

I would suggest changing out your dishwasher, or at least clean the filter. It smelled pretty bad and made the dishes smell so bad we had to wash by hand. The A/C was nice, but loud. Otherwise, very spacious and comfortable.

Awesome overall stay. Super well located to many attractions and eateries on the north shore. Spacious and clean. A/C worked fine to cool the whole place. Some people complain about the car noise. Yes, there is some noise but it is not that big a deal. And it fades at night and was not an issue with our 2 and 5 year olds' ability to sleep. We would stay again for sure!

Very nice property with many kitchen appliances such as coffee grinder, rice cooker, toaster oven, etc. HOWEVER, property location on corner of busy streets ruins the entire visit. Very loud traffic noise from cars starting up from stop sign just a few feet from bedrooms and patio. No windows can be open due to this traffic noise. You can't enjoy the patio. Must use a/c all the time in warm weather. I feel sorry for the owners with property on this busy street corner. I would never rent this property again. If it was moved away from the corner, it would be a great place to stay. Very comfortable. Nice features. But not now.

The property at Princeville was all but perfect. The rooms were spacious clean and well maintained. This easily sleeps four. Kitchen was well appointed. The neighborhood was safe and the availability of the garage made stowing the car away easy and safe. Beds were comfortable and the location was good. It was far from thr commercial district of Kauai which for us was perfoect. It was 3 minutes to Hanalea and about 30 to Kapaa. The pool and sauna were welcome after a day of walking around and hiking etc. Quite pleased. There was a supermarket 10 minutes away which made provisioning easy. No real complaints.

Condo very spacious with two double beds in second bedroom. No air conditioning in there and even in the winter months it gets very hot in that bedroom even with the door open to living room and fans on. Air conditioning is locked to go no lower than 72 degrees. Unit is on first floor and there is a condo above you and beside you. There is a one car garage which was very nice, but one morning we got up to leave and a crane was in the driveway blocking our exit. I yelled up to the roofers that had been there since 7am, which I was not informed ahead of time they would be there the entire time of my stay. The head guy said we should have known they would be there and the property owners knew not to park in the garage. I told him we were renting for the week. He said the owners should have told us. After some more back and forth, he agreed to move the crane so we could get our car out when they went on break in 15 minutes. Plenty of towels for our short stay along with coolers, rafts, sand toys, beach chairs, etc. Would definitely stay there again except for the drive being VERY FAR to most attractions. Waimea Canyon is 2 hr away and Poipu Beach is over an hour away.

My family of 4 had a wonderful stay for a week over New Years. The unit is well appointed and very comfortable. One thing to note: it is close by a somewhat busy road, so we were woken up a couple of times by a loud truck or two roaring by early in the morning. Not a showstopper, but a minor annoyance. We would certainly rent again on our next trip to Kauai!

Very clean, spacious, located next to golf course convenient to town and Hanalei. No problem with lack of A/C in second BR; stayed quite cool throughout. Perfect size for our group of 3 young adults and one older adult. Loved having two twins in 2nd BR instead of one queen like most properties in the area. Well-stocked, including full kitchen, starter amounts of dish and laundry soap, bathroom amenities, and beach toys, coolers, beach towels, etc. Only issue we had to ask about was the TV, which was a bit confusing initially with lots of remote controls but only one is used. Property manager and concierge were responsive and made our stay perfect! Would definitely return.

Our rental was fine - great location. Was not confident in its cleanliness - cupboards smelled like fish (had to wash the glasses and cups before we could use them because of the smell. Kitchen cabinets could use an upgrade. They are falling apart. Drains did not drain well at all, could use new towels as many of them had stains, and the TV didn't work properly. After contacting the rental agency someone came out to address the TV and its remotes but we never got the issue resolved while we were there.

When we checked in, there was a beautiful welcome basket waiting for us! It was incredibly thoughtful.
The unit was was good size for our family of 4. The corner location was a little noisy but we didn’t hear too much traffic at night.
The unit had all the toys we needed for the beach! Chairs, boogie boards, an umbrella, a cooler to use. It was awesome!
We had a little trouble with some things around the condo not being in working order, but the property manager quickly sent a handyman to fix them. Then we had another incident happen after that, and once again, the manager quickly addressed it and took care of the problem.
I rated the cleanliness as a 3 because some of the dishes I pulled out of the cupboard were dirty and had to be washed before we could use them. Also the extra linens were stained/dirty, so we didn’t use any of those.
We had a fantastic time and the condo was a great landing spot for us. We enjoyed the pool and hot tub nearly every night, and it was fun meeting and chatting with other vacationers.

This was a great place to stay in Kauai. I have older teens and we felt like everything was near by. Also if you are a golfer, the Makia golf course is literally your backyard and is absolutely beautiful. All the amenities in the home were great! Mahalo!

The listing for the condo looked good, but I thought it was even better in person! Clean, cute, and way more spacious than I thought. It was nice having a hose outside to rinse off from the beach before coming in, and we loved that they had beach chairs, boogie boards, inner tubes and coolers we could use. Loved that there was a brita water filter in the fridge too. 👍 The neighborhood is really pretty too and is easy to find from the highway, and is just a quick drive to the Princeville shopping center and Hanalei!

I booked this condo for myself, my husband, and my parents. We came to Kauai to visit family on the north shore of the island. Location is great and we found it to be nice and quiet — though that was the case overall in comparison to visiting in the busier season. We loved the ample shared living room space and the layout allowed for privacy when needed with separate bathrooms, and an outdoor seating area. I appreciated the local guidebooks provided and the charming style felt like we were staying at a friend's house.
I was confused as to where to find the check-in instructions because the email came from ReMax and not through VRBO, but once I received the instructions, all the information and check in/check out was very clear and easy. Overall loved our stay and would rebook here. Great value.

Our stay was great on the island and when we booked this rental I did spend time reviewing what others have said. First, the unit is great even if it’s a corner lot. Has everything you need. Ice block for ice chest, Britain’s water for fresh water, beach chairs, umbrella, beach towels and everything you need for a beach day. Condo was roomy and with 4 of us, never felt cramped. Kitchen had all our needs and bed were great.
Yes said co dog ion that can not be set below 72 and only master and living room have it. House was still pretty warm.
The things that need to be addressed is the water pressure. We often just washed hair at the beach showers or outside at the hose! The clothes barley washed, kitchen sink very lite and taking a shower the tub drained so slowly. Others have reported the same issue and I did let management know. Hoping they fix this for others otherwise it’s a great stay.

Great place! We were busy so we didn’t spend a lot of time at the condo. The master bed was very comfortable! The master tub/shower was a little difficult getting in/out of as a 5’4” person. Having a washer/dryer was super convenient. Beach chairs & a cooler we’re available for the beach. We were disappointed that there was not a beach umbrella. We went to Costco, bought one, and left it behind for the next guests. Having central air was great, but unfortunately the guest bedroom did not have ducts/vents. So my sister & niece weren’t as comfortable. A fan was provided, but opening the windows was not ideal since it was facing the main road. Overall a great stay.

I wrote the property manager a personal letter reviewing our stay here and didn't even get a reply. The condo and location were great, but there were some inconveniences that spoiled our stay of 8 days. This condo needs a regular maintenance schedule to insure everything is working correctly and that the condo is actually clean inside before having guests stay here. No hot water, stove didn't work, lock to garage door leading into condo not working, dryer vent not hooked up, air intake vent very dirty, as well as carpet, covers on furniture, and unsightly scuff marks on walls. Again, I mailed the property manager a letter, maybe thinking it would help and really expected some sort of reply, but not a word.,

The condo had everything we needed, brand new, most of it, so it worked fine for us. It was lacking in personality, though. There were no pictures on the wall, no bookcase of books to look at. The corner location with all the traffic was not ideal, workable, but not peaceful. Princeville weather was very spotty, lots of cool, windy, cloudy days. Great weather for hiking. We drove to Kapaa or further south most days to find a sunny beach. The main road into Princeville is atrocious, lumpy, bumpy, full of potholes. You would think with all the homeowners fees, it would be much better kept.Angela Pycha with Remax was very helpful when we missed our plane (the highway closed due to an accident) and had to stay a couple extra days. Thanks, Angela.All in all, despite a few bumps we loved our vacation! Oregon could use some work though!

The condominium is older but nicely and recently updated. Well equipped and excellent location on the north shore of Kauai. Be aware that this unit is right on a busy intersection and traffic noise is very apparent. If you are seeking peace and quiet in Kauai this may not be the place for you. The coffee maker will only accommodate up to 4 cups and should be upgraded. Overall, this property represents a good value.

It was noisy from traffic and the drain system in both shower needed to be clean( i personal clean it myself but needs attention) . Water pressure seam to be low if both showers are in operation. Otherwise the condo was okay if you're not in the condo. One thing that the shower head in the guess room was ready to fall off so I had to tighten it.

Alhoa! I recently stayed here for 10 days and this condo was awesome! It was super cute and super clean. The lanai was perfect for sitting outside and eating a wonderful breakfast while listening to the birds chirp. The amenities were great too. It was nice not having to rent or buy beach items after arrival. The only issue I had was the air conditioning wasnt working properly the last few days of my stay. Luckily I wasnt at the condo frequently over those days to make it unbearable. Overall this was the perfect condo for what I was looking for, and I'd certainly recommend it to anyone staying on the north shore! Mahalol!

My rental vacation stay was nice. We did however experience a slow clogged guest bath tube, rather large **** roaches in kitchen and guest restroom ( due to filthiness)there were wet dishes put away in kitchen closets and wet towels in bathroom closets, rear door leading to garage had screws and bolts coming out of lower portion of door frame and the worst of all the over freezing of AC Unit. AC unit would freeze over everyday and heat up home to over 81 degrees. hotter inside then outside. We had maintenance man out and he removed an extremely dirty filter from AC and after it had drained water all over floor, unit was turned back on by maintenance man. There continued to be problems with AC Unit. I wouldn't recommend unit to people with small kids because unit is not kid friendly. There was way too much glass property inside and unit to close to major road for outside playing. Over all Unit worked out for us. We had already paid in full for rental unit with nowhere else to go on an unfamiliar Island.

The condo and the area was amazing! The ReMax Concierge Service was terrible. Received an email from the Concierge saying if I needed any help with activities to send them an email, so I did. Three weeks went by not a peep, not even a hey we received your email and we are working on it. Three days before departure received an email from Concierge saying we arranged your activities for you please send credit card information. They didn't even say what they arranged or how much it was going to cost me.

I would definitely recommend the Plantations #111 condo! It is newer, light, spacious with large master bedroom. Beautiful views of the mountains and I could even see a couple of waterfalls off the mountain while sitting at the dining table. There are nice amenities like boogie board, beach towels, umbrella and sand toys. The washer/dryer are a huge benefit and I would throw a load of beach towels and swim suits in every night. The pool and hot tub are nice and the exercise room looked good although we never used it. Two minor negative points is that it being on the main street on Princeville and it being on the bottom floor, there was enough noise we didn't want to open the windows but it was definitely quiet enough with the windows closed and with the A/C we didn't need it opened. (Also some slight noise from upstairs unit like toilet and shower mostly.) Secondly, however, the A/C is just in the master bedroom and kitchen/living room area. The second bedroom did not have A/C and it did get a bit warm with the windows closed (which we did because of the noise). There was also a cat that came around and I really don't care for cats so one more reason to not open the doors.

Our honeymoon stay at this condo was perfect! The view is absolutely breathtaking. We ate lunch on the patio everyday and felt very secluded by the hedges of flowers. The furniture and kitchen are all very new. I was especially happy with the master bathroom which was enormous including a double sink, soaking tub, and separate room for the toilet. We loved having a garage attached to the condo and used the beach equipment we found there. We also used the Netflix. The only negative was that we never received an email with the check in information so when we arrived at 11 pm we had to track down the owner's number and get the key code.

We've stayed in Plantations before, but direct from a condo owner, so can attest to far better options than Unit #111. This unit has no character, no pictures on walls, no decor at all - aside from the turtle shown on the coffee table. The annoying overuse of vinyl tablecloths everywhere was bizarre. In the guest bedroom, the dresser had a kitchen themed cloth reflecting spices. In the living room, there were lace cloths that snagged on everything. The couch and chair are beyond uncomfortable. The cushions are so soft, you sink in and it is difficult to sit upright. The location description is misleading. Yes, the unit is on the corner - of TWO main streets. The major one leads to other condos and the St. Regis. At night, constant headlights easily penetrate the blinds in the guest bedroom. The other street is how you access Plantations and a neighboring development. We noticed on weekends, high volume of traffic on both roads was common, not slowing down until around midnight. We didn't bother using the porch because of the traffic, and filthy furniture. In addition to the two metal chairs and table, there were also two white, plastic chairs as well. These were covered in filth, not inviting at all. Cleanliness of the actual condo was off as well. For the most part, bathrooms were clean (toilets, baths), but the guest bath sink had toothpaste all over it. Kitchen was decent, except the oven door was disgusting - as was the inside. Based on hearing traffic majority of the time, and having to clean a few areas ourselves, along with lacking a usable porch - we would not stay in this unit again.

We were delighted with this immaculate, open, light filled condo and the air conditioning was definite plus. The pool and bbq area is close by only steps away. Having the convenience of nearby golf, shopping, beaches made our stay at Plantation 111 a pleasure.

We had a great stay. The place was well equipped for our family of four and the beds were great! The condo is in need of a few updates (sliding doors that don’t slide, blinds that we didn’t allow the kids to adjust for fear of breaking them,a very fussy dishwasher and poor water pressure in the showers) but overall in good condition.However it was clean and as pictured in its ad.The biggest down fall to this unit was the location in relation to a busy street. The street noise was constant, daysnd night. If you are a light sleeper it is a big downfall.

A well eqipped unit. The beach gear was a bonus & very handy when visiting the beaches. The unit was right next to the golf course. As it was on the corner the traffic morning & night was noisy. The outlook over the mountains was magificent especially after the rain as lots of waterfalls. You need transport to stay there. There is a path to the village about a 25min walk. Very comfortable.

Our stay was amazing, the instructions were great, we loved the place for our family. We were celebrating my 52nd bday my daughter, grandson, Niece nephews were comfortable in this space. Wonderful backyard area for the kids to.play when we’re we’re not out exploring l it’s only a 17min drive to Hanlei Bay and it’s beautiful beaches!

The best review I could give a property is, "I would stay here again," and I certainly would. We stayed a week here and a week on the Coconut Coast. Had a lovely trip but would have been better if we had stayed at the Princeville property for the entire stay.

Wonderful to have a comfortable condo to retreat to after a day of boogie boarding, swimming, snorkeling, hiking, exploring, or relaxing on the sand.
The condo has everything you would need including a full kitchen, lanai, and access to the pool and gum. It’s walking distance from some amazing views, beaches, and restaurants too!

Princeville is beyond beautiful. Everywhere is so scenic. The condo was well equipped for everything we needed. Some small things that needed improvement are the cooking pans. The handle was literally falling off the best pan. The pool is small but nice. Grills were good. Overall i would stay there again. Also it wasnt very close to the ocean relative to most places in the Hawaiian islands.

We enjoyed our stay in this rental. It's in a beautiful but busy area, and just down the street from a grocery store, gas station, etc. The neighborhood is very walkable and there is a long path along the golf course across the street. The condo is roomy, the beds were comfortable and we had everything we needed. Our property manager was readily available and took care of a few minor issues immediately. Some of the patio furniture needs to be replaced, but that was not a big issue for us.

Incredible weather and very nice location. Home was Very clean, nicely stocked for water toys. Clean bright rooms. moved some extra furniture to the spare bedroom. Nice and quiet (road noise was not an issue). Will stay here again. Outdoor deck was great, you could always find some sun.

Princeville is a nice location in the North since it is centrally located amongst all the beaches and Northern hot spots. The rental itself is located on a busy street and stop sign, so lots of commotion outside and can't really enjoy sitting out on the patio. The condo layout is nice, but it overall feels a bit shabby: mismatched furniture, sloppy couch cover, marks on the walls. They also had an elaborate TV set up and we could only get one channel to work. They did have a lot of beach stuff to use (chairs, boogie boards, snorkels, coolers, mats, umbrella) which was really nice. The place was fine for the trip and nothing necessarily wrong, but I wouldn't stay here again.

All around great experience. Centrally located for most of what we wanted to do. ’s not really that long of a drive to the South shore. Hanalei Hill repairs squelched our runs into Hanalei, but we planned those times for Sunday when access was more available! Hanalei is worth the wait time in line!BBQ was clean and nice to have right by the pool. Plenty of beach towels, chairs etc. Good kitchen set up. Surprisingly quiet evenings. The tub in the master bath is not easy to get in and out of, but with help it wasn’t a problem. The tub did offer a perfect relaxing spot after a long day in the sun! Photo ops everywhere around the property. Beautiful mountain views.The management company was very friendly and helpful to answer any questions we had. Easy in and out.
