Beautiful condo in the well-groomed town of Princeville. Clean, decorated with beautiful aloha in every room, well appointed with all the necessary beach and kitchen gear, close to Hanalei where we ate a lot and numerous lovely beaches! Ken and Chloe our hosts were super informative, gracious and helpful and really helped make our Kauai experience memorable! Mahalo nui for sharing your beautiful home and welcoming us to the island!

We really enjoyed our stay in Princeville. The location was a short drive to beaches, came equipped with most items we needed....except boogie boards....we brought our own but Chloe advised where we could have rented them. Chloe was always responsive to my email inquiries. The only issue...and its all over the island....is the rooster issue. Literally starting crowing around 2AM and did not stop. We had the windows opened to conserve energy...but even when we did close them it didnt make a difference. Bring some heavy duty earplugs.

The condo was perfect for my stay. One of the few in the area that is air conditioned.
The location is very convenient with lots of shopping and restaurants close by.
The pool and hot tub are so clean and well maintained.
We loved this condo and would highly recommend.
The owners are friendly and quick to respond.

The neighborhood is very well kept and has one of the nicest, pristine, pool/hot tub areas we've ever seen!
Our condo was very clean, beautiful vintage Kauai style, very comfortable with all the amenities. It really does look better in person than the pretty photos posted on VRBO. Location is excellent for a Princeville stay. Close to gorgeous views and beautiful beaches...some of the best in the world!! We had some great adventures and would come "home" to this relaxing, beautiful condo. We would stay there again if we are fortunate enough to return.

Wow! We agree with the other guest who stated that this rental is much nicer than even advertised! This unit is beautifully and tastefully decorated and furnished. Everything was comfortable and clean- from the beds (my back appreciated it) to the living room couch, to the wonderful outdoor seating. We enjoyed morning coffee and a couple grab and go dinners on the lovely lanai. Our son enjoyed the bucket of beach toys and we had plenty of beach towels for our outings. The AC is a bit slow to cool down the unit when we returned in the evenings- but it wasn’t an issue because opening a couple sliding doors to let the breeze in works very quickly! Just close the doors again before bed unless you enjoy Kauai’s 4 am rooster noises haha! We would definitely stay here again!

The bedrooms are separated bt the livingroom, which makes them private. The master bath is huge, with ADA shower. The lvr upis comfy & we watched March madness & movies. Foodland is close. Anini beach has turtles, fishes, and is reef protected. Very pretty & safe place -snorkel & swim.

We greatly enjoyed our stay. The condo was in a great location, spacious, and well stocked with all the things needed to cook and go to the beaches. We loved sitting out on the patio in the mornings and evenings. We were all very comfortable, the neighborhood was nice and quiet, and we enjoyed the pool area too. We had a wonderful time.

Wow! This place was amazing! We were surprised it was even more beautiful in person than online! We were visiting for my 50th birthday, and I couldn't have asked for a better place to stay! It was a perfect location for exploring the entire island, but definitely the north side (Hanalei, Princeville, and east side). So many beautiful things to see every single day! We didn't even turn on the TV once in our entire visit, which felt amazing! Drinking coffee on the lanai every morning was heaven, even with the loud roosters! I just used a sound app on my phone, problem solved! LOL I would definitely stay here again in a heartbeat. It was the best birthday I've ever had.

Had a great time at the property. Took advantage of the pool area,hot tub and also grilled some steaks. Really enjoyed the walking path along the golf course with lovely plants and views. Great breakfast burritos at the gas station in Princeville.
Condo was beautifully decorated and comfortable.

A pleasant surprise. Most people oversell their properties but this one was undersold.
The master bathroom is larger than a normal bedroom, the place was tastefully decorated in Hawaii themed stuff but not overwhelmingly so, nicely located close to the north shore attractions but quietly out of the way.
Would stay here again.

Felt lucky to be at this property since it exceeded any expectations. Every item or detail seemed to be by design. This was no Home Depot project but seemed like a designer magazine property. Everything worked superbly! Location was excellent. Would highly recommend this property.
The only issue was finding the property at night. The 911 number was hidden in the shadow underneath the light. The described 5th building on left actually seemed like the 9th building! We could not tell that 1 building looked like 2 buildings at night.

My daughter and I had a rendezvous, first since the pandemic. It was peaceful and delightful in every way. The two bedroom two bath layout with LR in between was perfect for our purposes. Location in Princeville convenient to so many attractions that we were interested in.

Ken & Chloe were wonderful hosts, we are already discussing a return visit. Their home was clean, well appointed & extremely comfortable. It felt like a home away from home. We walked to the artist market on Saturday morning and it was less than 10 minutes to Hanalei, a wonderful town!

This is our second stay. Great location. Very clean, very comfortable. The speaker on the TV was blown when we got there. I let them know and they had it fixed. We couldn’t find a can opener but they had everything else. Also there is a lemon tree on the property line. We will stay there again! Thank you Ken and Chloe!!

We didn't spend a lot of time in it, but my son and I were very impressed with this place. Super comfortable to come back to after a long day of hiking and surfing. I liked that the units all have central HVAC, but we didn't even need it; and we stayed in June.

This place is incredible - the pictures actually don't do it justice. It's even better in person- super roomy, LOVE the outside lanai, peaceful, and a great little community to stay in. The only thing is based on the description of the property we thought the beaches were a little more walkable/closer. While they are walkable, it's a little further than we thought so if someone has small kids it might be a trek for them. BUT we also realized that most beaches in Princeville are a bit of a trek to get to no matter where you are. Overall we totally loved this place and can't wait to head back over!

We were traveling as a family of 5, and this condo has plenty of room for all of us. Two of our children slept in the 2nd room and our 3rd slept on the couch bed.
Everything was very clean and the decor was nice and comfortable. We were only there for 2 nights so not much time. Our kids loved the community pool and my husband enjoyed bbqing out there for a relaxing evening.
We had a couple of minor issues but the owners responded immediately and were very kind.
We really appreciated the coffee gift, mahalo! And as a tea drinker, I love that they had an electric kettle.
The only thing I wish were different was that they had travel toiletries. I naively only brought one bottle of shampoo and conditioner, which meant all 5 of us had to share just one shower. The first place we stayed had toiletries in the bathroom, which covered my goof. Minor inconvenience, though!

If you stay at this property bring your ear plugs. The owners keep two roosters in their backyard that start crowing at 3 a.m., and continue to crow for four hours until the sun comes up.

Very welcoming property- from communication with owners to location and island decor! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would rent this property again. This was our third stay at Plantation, first at this condo. We wanted to try one with a garden lanai vs one that faced the pool, which can be noisy. The trade off is having the main road close by.
A couple things to know: the condo is accessible, which is great unless a very open master bath is not your thing (namely toilet and shower). Being from CA, we are at home with energy and water conservation. The showers and kitchen sink have low water pressure (getting shampoo out of long hair will take a while) and using hot water and AC will drive energy use, which comes out of your security deposit. The afternoon sun comes in the large slider windows and can be quite warm. Luckily there are ceiling fans and a couple box/stand fans to help.
It is also great that this property has a locking screen door, which most do not. The wifi is better than ours at home!
Would definitely recommend for both long and short term stays.

The apartment was pleasant and as described. In beginning, we couldn’t find the address, because we must have misinterpreted the Owner’s well meant but overly elaborate directions.
On our tour of the islands, we had booked a stay of just 2 days at this property and didn’t do grocery shopping. Although not promised by Owner, it would have been a nice gesture to leave some basic coffee or tea for our use in morning, And it would also have been a nice gesture to leave some detergent for our use of the washing machine.
Both of us (1 European, 1 American) were not happy with the overstuffed inflexible pillows in bedrooms. Now I know why some people travel with their own pillow!
Other than that we did enjoy our stay at this spacious property.

We had a wonderful time here. The home is very clean and comfortable. I’m going to have to find out more info on the mattress because it is the most comfortable we’ve ever slept on. We knew we wanted to spend as much time at Hanalei bay as possible and this was just a very short drive. Best vacation ever!

Ken and Chloe's property is exceptionally well maintained and has everything you need for the perfect Kauai vacation. The neighborhood is perfectly situated in the North Shore and close to some of the best spots to visit. They are warm and gracious hosts who offered lots of helpful travel tips for discovering fun things to do around the island. I'd happily stay at their property the next time I visit!

Great location, well stocked kitchen, beach chairs, towels, re-usable shopping bags, washer/dryer, relaxing lanai. You do have to drive to beach access which worked fine for us. Anini beach is close and great snorkeling. Hanelai is close too!! We thoroughly enjoyed our time and Ken/Chloe were very responsive to all questions and gave lots of information about Kauai!!

The condo was beautiful, the pictures do not do it justice--this is a well-appointed house that was wonderfully laid out. We were two couples, and the layout is such that the living room divided the two bedrooms, allowing for privacy between the couples. It truly is wonderful. The owners are very responsive to your needs and seemed to really want to share their home-away-from-home. Such a beautiful place!
