This is KONEA 142, the KING of the GROUND FLOOR 2 bedroom, 2 bath condo-tel luxury homes at the Honua Kai Resort & Spa on Ka'anapali Beach Maui. Aloha. Latest Updates (10/31/20): Starting Oct 15th travelers to Hawaii can bypass the mandatory 14-day quarantine with a negative COVID test taken inside 72 hours prior to the departure of your flight to Maui with a negative test result. Hawaii announced an expanded list of testing partners including: AFC Urgent Care, Alaska Airlines, American Airlines, Bartell Drugs, Carbon Health, CityHealth Urgent Care, Color, CVS Health, Hawaiian Airlines, Kaiser Permanente (for members only), Oakland Airport, Quest Diagnostics, Southwest Airlines, United Airlines, Vault Health, and Walgreens. Children under age 5 are not required to take the test. You can book in confidence with me that if the pre-testing program or alternative way for you to bypass the Hawaii imposed quarantine is not in place on your arrival date and as a result you would have to undergo the mandatory Hawaii 14-day quarantine your trip will be fully refundable. Current Honua Kai status (10/31/20): All pools, hot tubs, and BBQ's are open. The beach is county property and open. Duke's Restaurant is open from 12-4 for lunch, 12-5 for pool service, and 5-9 for dinner dine in and take out. Bell / Valet is available from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Towels are provided in unit and the towel tracker machines are not operational. The Ho'ola spa is open for appointments. The gym is reopening date of 11/12/20. The Whaler and Aina on site stores are open from 9-5. Concierge is open by phone. Expect the resort to have reduced occupancy for quite some time with some limitations on services and possible mask / social distancing requirements as specified by the county. There is a times supermarket across the street is open for groceries and some other nearby restaurants are open. For guests that book I highly recommend purchasing a trip cancellation plan with possibly the cancel for any reason rider. See squaremouth dot com. ABOUT THIS CONDO: LOCATION LOCATION LOCATION! This private oasis is located on the GROUND FLOOR of the private NORTH side of Honua Kai - you don't face other units. KONEA 142 is the ONLY northwest facing ground floor 2 bedroom 2 bath condominium home on the north side of the Konea building. This is the quietest and most private part of Honua Kai - but it has the EASIEST ACCESS to all resort amenities. You can come and go securely from the back door facing the yard or the front door to the hallway. If you want to avoid other people and indoor spaces, it's easy to do so here by using the back door. After the video was made the living room TV was upgraded to a 65 inch 4k Samsung with Netflix and Amazon 2 services included + a Playstation 4 with games! Enjoy the open spacious feeling with 11 foot vaulted ceilings ~ only on the GROUND FLOOR ~ and 1,230 square feet of interior living space. You get 2 master suites divided by an open living and dining room and kitchen floor plan. Nano Glass doors OPEN THE ENTIRE WALL to a HUGE lanai with outdoor dining and lounging furniture, bordering your own private lawn area. You get 420 MORE SQUARE FEET of furnished outdoor living space! From here it is a short 1 minute walk down a grassy path to the pools, barbecue area, Duke's Restaurant and Bar, and the beach and Pacific Ocean. I've installed a KEYED lock on the lanai door for secure access. Super close to Whaler's general store, gym, spa & parking. Due to our unique location on the north end of the resort, you'll enjoy ultimate privacy and a secure back door entrance that is all yours. Our front door is very close to the door to the interior courtyard. From either entrance, you reach all of the attractions of this gorgeous resort MUCH FASTER than if you stayed above the ground floor - no waiting for an elevator! Our GROUND FLOOR location is so CONVENIENT for hanging out at the pools or beach to pop into your own condominium to use the bathroom, freshen your drinks, have a snack, or grab the provided beach chairs or boogie boards! Our guests prefer the PRIVACY of our "exterior" northwest facing lanai over the condos across the hall from us - their lanais face the interior courtyard which has foot traffic and gives other condos across the courtyard a view into their units.
