A cozy and quiet spot facing the golf course. It's exactly as pictured, clean and equipped with lots of cooking equipment. Having a neighbour be a second point of contact gave me a deep sense of security S I was travelling alone.

The location of this property was great and the property itself is beautiful, but there were so many issues worth noting. Since there were 3 women travelers we needed the third bed, which was a pull out couch. The mattress was filthy and no linens were provided. The lock to the sliding back door was broken creating a safety concern. All of the floors are hard ceramic tile and there are steps everywhere, for example a step as you go into the bathroom. Two of us fell. The dining room light and fan didn’t work. The internet was unusually slow and one of the three of us needed to check in on work.

We loved our time in Kauai and in the Paniolo condos. The room was clean and Rick had all the kitchen supplies you could need. One piece of advice, read through the red folder when you check in. It wasn’t until the morning we left that I realized we had snorkel equipment in a box on the porch and I never got to use it!

Everything was nicely done. However I would not recommend this unit to anyone due to the plumbing problems in the kitchen. There was a leak under the kitchen sink. We had to empty a bucket from under the sink into the toilet. Regardless of emptying it, it still overflowed be ran onto the kitchen floor. We were mopping continuously. Made it difficult to follow requirements for cleaning while there and when leaving. Should not have rented this unit in this condition.

Very ejoyable stay. Loved the location. Incredibly beautiful land and seascape! The condo was great. Our only complaint was the family upstairs made a lot of noise starting very early in the morning that made it hard to sleep. Got some ear plugs which helped.

Just stay here. A lot of room for a small family.Better than being cramped in a hotel room, with Roblox and you tube bouncing off the walls. The best part is the condo is haunted it was an extra treat to see a ghost on our vacation as my gf loves anything ghostly. Just in case you were wondering, I am just being a dad!

I feel like you share both positives and negatives. This property has a well stocked kitchen, plenty of seating in the living area, expansive lanai w/lots of seating, a good supply of beach chairs, towels, & toys. When we arrived it appeared the property had not been cleaned well. One of the toilets clearly had not been cleaned, all 4 sinks in the vanities had toothpaste on the faucets, mold in the master bath shower, washing machine had mold and smelled (we washed a load and it smelled awful!), & kitchen sink was not clean. A cleaning crew does not wash dishes, but several dishes were dirty. The property manager immediately refunded our cleaning fee when we notified her. We were not asking for a refund, but also do not expect to go on vacation and have to clean bathrooms and kitchen upon arrival. This property could be outstanding with a little maintenance work - several lamps not working (may just need a lightbulb), ceiling fan and light in Primary bedroom not working, ceiling fan and light in dining area worked sporadically - fan was on and off at will and could not turn the light off, leaky faucet in primary bathroom has water running on the counter top. Parking is sparse and no assigned spot. One room a/c in 2nd bedroom ONLY, small tv in living area, 2nd bedroom needs a dresser, additional window coverings needed in living area to cut down heat from afternoon sun. Bedrooms need tv. Also, if you plan to do work here the wifi is spotty. Multiple steps are not marked.

We tried to modify our booking. Vacasa told me to file a travel insurance claim, which was nonsense, I was within the modification window. Communication with them was "canned" and felt like a bot. In the end, they claim I never "confirmed" the change even though I requested it twice. I paid for time that the condo sat empty, and Vacasa could not have cared less. I will never book with Vacasa again.The place was amazing, but when you are renting a vacation property, the property manager is part of the experience.

Our stay at Rick’s place was a real treat, exceeding our expectation. Very well furnished, even providing a cooler that kept our lunch cool for our daily trips around the island (also chairs, umbrella, snorkeling stuff). Communication with our host was responsive and thoughtful. Nice quiet location with porch overlooking golf course and walking path. He even provided Dr. Bronner’s soap for the shower (you have to be a Dr. B fan to get that!)Thank you, Rick!

This was our first time to stay in this beautiful VRBO. The location was perfect for activities. The space was comfortable, very nicely decorated and had everything we needed while we were there. The location was walking distance from a bay where we snorkeled and got to see tropical fish and sea turtles. The host, Joy greeted us with a friendly welcome and let us know we can contact her with any needs/concerns during our stay.We would highly recommend a stay at this beautiful tropical hideaway!!

We were very comfortable in this spacious condo with the most extensive decks (and best chaise longues) I've ever seen. Sarah was an excellent host with detailed suggestions and instructions before arrival and throughout our stay. The kitchen had everything we needed, and we did cook virtually all of our meals (or packed a picnic); she even had a coffee frother for my morning coffee! The full-size laundry machines were a big help as you can’t pack enough for two weeks without multiple washings, and the pool is a particularly nice one. We didn't realize this unit is directly on a road so the traffic noise was noticeable. Be aware that Kauai “enjoys” the unique situation of wild chickens and roosters everywhere, so be prepared for constant crowing wherever you stay. Princeville is just under an hour from the airport on the two-lane road that follows the coast; if you are going to the North End of the island, this is a lovely unit to rent for your stay.

This condo was as advertised and it was fine. It was clean. A bit loud with the street traffic when patio doors open but quieter when they were closed. Communication prior to our stay was good. This condo does not have a full kitchen so it was difficult to plan for meals with the lack of restaurants close by. There is a hot plate but with it being so warm we didn’t want to make it more warm. We were also excited to use the BBQ one night and bought some nice steaks and potatos only to find the BBQ propane was left empty and could not be rectified until after we left. They communicated that we could contact someone to potentially replace sooner but we didn’t want to waste time on our short vacation trying to track someone down. Overall it is as advertised and clean.

It was okay. Couldnt use the snorkel gear because there was only one mask and someone had nawed the rubber off oke of the mouth pieces. They were also dirty. We had loud neighbors who were smoking weed every day. One had the loudest cough that would happen all night

My friend and I stayed here on our recent trip to the island and absolutely love the condo. Tony was super welcoming and so kind he checked in on us when we passed through and we loved chatting with him. He was very, very sweet offered to take us stargazing after we requested. It was a beautiful condo. The beds were comfortable, plenty of clean towels and linens and a lot of beach accessories. That were very nice for them to provide snorkeling gear beach chairs wakeboard Towels, lots of sunscreen, etc. they even provide us with a fresh water, pineapple and some local chips we really loved staying here. Thought the place was very clean. Very nice. The neighborhood is also very very cool. There’s a beach you can walk down to via a little jungle walk and then there’s also some mountains walking distance from a little park coffeeshops, and grocery store very very great neighborhood and area. Absolutely loved staying here and maybe I’ll come back with my parents.

The pictures are accurate, and the place was immaculate. It's on the second floor of a two-story building, a short walk from the parking lot. The floor-to-ceiling windows enhance the living space, and the wrap-around lanai ensures easy access to the outdoors. Both bathrooms have been modernized, and the beds are comfortable. The kitchen is well-stocked, making home cooked meals easy. The grounds are lush and well-maintained, and the pool is a short walk. We would be happy to return.

We loved staying here! The apartment was super clean and big. We loved the host provided beach gear (towels, chairs, boogie boards). Washer and dryer on site was really nice to have. Great location, as described. Easy access to lots of great spots. Our host was super accomodating, letting us check in and check out a bit before and after the scheduled times. Kitchen was stocked with all the pots/pans we needed. Fans were enough to keep the apartment cool, overall great.Two downsides: 1. While not the owner of this apartment's fault, the upstairs neighbors were very loud with their footsteps and moving furniture around very early in the morning. 2. The only other thing is that the mattress in the bedroom closest to the front door had very bad and caved support, causing our 35 year old friends back pain. We swapped the mattress from the murphy bed to their bed, which helped, but it seems as though that bed just needs a new mattress.Other than that, a very excellent stay—recommended!

The condo was comfortable and convenient to Princeville. If you haven’t stayed on Kauai before, and are a light sleeper, be aware that there are chickens everywhere that will wake you up at 4 am…with no AC in the condo, the temp was very comfortable but leaving the windows open meant waking up to roosters loudly crowing very early every morning! Parking was also a bit of an issue when we came back to the condo late, but we managed. We appreciated the beach chairs, towels and wagon. Overall, a nice home base for our family trip to the beautiful island of Kauai.

My family thoroughly enjoyed our stay at our Princeville home for the week. Our family is comprised of two parents and older (17-22) aged kids. The kitchen was stocked with pots and pans and cooking utensils so that we could have a nice holiday meal. The beds were comfortable and we appreciated that beach towels were supplied. There was much to do that was a short walk away as well as plenty to do a short car ride away. We really enjoyed our stay and would love to come back.
