We came to Kauai to celebrate my daughter’s sweet 16th birthday. This was a pretty great location.

Wonderful condo! Had trouble securing key to enter and called property manager after hours who only returned the call the next day asking if we got in. Very clean…. Highly recommended!

Loved our stay! Beautiful sunrises off the patio and ocean breezes throughout the day & night. Peaceful and quiet to watch the Nene's on the lawn and just enjoy the quiet. Unit itself is nicely appointed, fully stocked bright kitchen- we had everything we needed to cook regular meals. The small things were all there overall- plenty of hangers, cozy lamps, comfortable bedding, no weird smells, felt safe, etc, We would (WILL!) stay here again!

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We’ve been to Kauai a number of times and have driven up to and through Princeville, but had never stayed, so we thought we’d try it out. The community is nicely laid out, with beautiful views of the mountains and the ocean. Our condo was great, clean, convenient, and quiet. The community kind of reminded us of a retirement community. You will have to drive to beaches, as the ones that are located on the property, are very difficult to get too.....having to walk far distances, or down dangerous hillsides, and they just really aren’t convenient...so be prepared to pack up your rental car and drive! There is a grocery store and some shops just up the road, so that was a bonus! If you like bbq’ing, you won’t be doing that here, so be prepared just to cook or eat out. There is an awesome pizza place on site, and the pizza was amazing!!!! The walking/running trails are fantastic and easy and convenient wherever you are staying, and the sights are out of this world! So now we can say we tried Princeville.

A very nice place/ great north shore location - One issue - clothes washing machine needs fixed, We were skeptical to use it as it warns you with a note that the renter is responsible for water damage?

The condo is pretty and has been renovated recently. It's airy, light and roomy, but there are some stairs to climb to get inside and additional stairs in the apartment...and our suitcases were heavy. What we found annoying was that everyone walking up or down a ramp on the backside of the building could gaze straight into the master bedroom, so despite of the pretty view we had to keep the curtains closed. And because of the way those buildings are set up in a V-shape noise is travelling easily. There were times when it was just plain loud, and it felt like living way too close to other people - if you know what I mean. Not all that relaxing. Besides, those buildings are located on a cliff. There is a very steep path leading down to a bay but we were told it's unsafe to go into the water there, so because of this and the cool weather the sideway view of the ocean was pretty much all we enjoyed. Long story short, the place didn't meet our expectations. Very impersonal, nobody to greet you, check you in or tend to your needs. Got the most useful informations from the owner of another condo. Hmmm...there's definitely room for improvement. Would not book it again.

We stayed at Pali Ke Kua for 5 nights and it was all we expected it to be. The location is amazing, the neighborhood is calm and clean, the condo is so nice, modern and well appointed. We loved everything minutes of our visit.

The condo was clean, well stocked and in a great location. I travelled with my wife, 3 year old daughter and mother in law. We all loved it. Would definitely go back! The kitchen is well stocked, plenty of cutlery plates, glasses, etc. The only things missing were a few extra mugs (only 4), and a kettle for boiling water - we used a pot. There's a blender that not listed, so you can make fresh fruit smoothies with your fresh fruit from one of the many farmers markets on the island. In the master bath, there's a closet that has extra blankets, pillows and most importantly beach gear - x2 backpack-style beach chairs, a beach bag, beach toys, x2 snorkel masks (one is pretty small) and x1 snorkel (weird, there's just one). There were 4 beach towels too, as well as plenty of bath towels, hand towels and face clothes. I can't speak to the bed in the loft, but the bed in the master was very comfortable. The unit doesn't have AC, but there are TONS of windows which allows for a nice breeze and each area has a ceiling fan. We were never too hot, but we didn't spend much time in the condo when it was sunny and hot. The master bath has been recently updated which was nice. The upstairs loft bath is a little outdated, but still nice. The lanai overlooks green space, part of the golf course and the ocean. There's an electric BBQ which was awesome! During the night, we could hear whales from the lanai, and the next day we saw some out in the distance. The condo faces NE so you get sunrise rather than sunset, but at sunset we walked to a spot around the corner which was spectacular. We had dinner at Hideaways Pizza Pub one night after a long day at the beach when we were too lazy to cook. It was decent, don't expect too much - I don't think it's the place to order the $40 tuna entree, we kept it simple - pizza and salad. The restaurant overlooks the pool and hot tub - which we only used once - and was nice enough. Checking in and out was easy, memorize the lockbox code, and keep the key in there all the time! Oceanfront Realty who manage the property communicated with me regularly and provided email updates - like when the Hanalei bridge was flooded one morning! My only complaints would be that the kitchen cabinets were well worn, some cupboards don't close fully, and all the hardware was loose. Another thing to note, is that when the Hideaways Pizza Pub closes (at 10pm I think), you can hear the staff closing up and leaving if the windows are open.
